The seating for the venue was what made the experience special. Table of 4. I was able to get a table in front of the stage and meet and greet. My sister and I couldn t have had a nicer evening and experience.

Second time for me to see Kevin Griffin, the first time he performed with Better Than Ezra. In both performances it was obvious that he enjoys putting on a show and his energy was contagious. In addition to Better Than Ezra hits, he performed several covers and parts of covers as well as led the audience in singing. Always an entertaining performer.

The Peacock room is a great size to seek Kevin Griffin. Very intimate setting and Kevin's personality is able to fill the room. The concert he is able to deliver with just an acoustic guitar and Michael Jerome is a non-stop mash up of BTE hits (hits to me) with covers sewn into the transitions. I hope he can keep coming to Houston regularly. Only reason not 5-stars is because the drinks at the HoB are criminally overpriced. This is not a NY nightclub. Concert tickets were cheaper than on 12 ounce beer and one cocktail. Have a few before you get in the room or bring a fat stack of cash.

Its great to watch someone who truly has a passion for what they do. He laughs with the crowd and has a lot of fun. Kevin sounds as good live as he does on the radio.

Kevin is easily the most engaging performer I have ever seen. He seamlessly moves between music and dialogue for an entertaining evening. Loved Michael Jerome also!

This was a great show! Anyone who has seen Kevin Griffin perform knows that he is going to deliver every time. He kept us laughing the entire show with his stories and stage antics as well as a hilarious impression of Dave Matthews. Accompanied by the percussive prowess of Michael Jerome Moore, Kevin wowed us with acoustic renditions of many classic Better Than Ezra tunes as well a few deep cuts like WWOZ and Our Last Night . It is evident that Kevin loves to perform and entertain and I would highly recommend seeing him live.

Interacts with the crowd and tells little stories between songs. Made it a intimate experience. Also brings a fan on stage to help play the cowbell lol

Awsome show Kevin is very funny and of course his singing and guitar play are awsome. Love BTE songs and Kevin did not disappoint. Wonderful percussionist playing with him. Seen Kevin twice this year, each time was fabulous. Highly recommended!!!!

Kevin has so many songs to pick from, it is a great way to see him.

First of all before this show I wasn't the biggest Better than Ezra fan. I neither disliked or was over the moon about their music... Although my hubs and I had our heyday in the 90's he recently has taken a big interest in Ezra's music, so for Christmas I bought him tickets to this show.... it did not disappoint! First of all it was more or less an acoustic show ( guitar was amped) Kevin is crazy talented and just as entertaining.. He told lots of stories between songs.. and did a hilarious parody of Dave Matthews.. Of course a bulk of the playlist was Ezra favorites.. Extra Ordinary, Juicy, Desperately Wanting, King of New Orleans.. etc. He also did many covers all the way back to Johnny B Goode ( of course, he was playing at Chuck Berry's "stage") Classic rock favorites such as Pinball Wizard and Tom Sawyer, and some 80's too.. Add it Up and another one I can't remember the title to (pretty?) and a few relatively recent songs I was surprised he wrote for other musicians.. such as "Collide" for Howie Day.. However none of it would have been as epic if Michael Jerome, Ezra's current drummer, hadn't been there. He did not have a full kit but rather a wooden box he was sitting on, one drum, a cymbal, tambourine, and a few other small percussion items that I don't know the terms for.. (not a musician myself) but wow! He did not need a kit.. He provided quite the backbone for all the songs with just those items and did some amazing solos too! All the previous rock shows I had been to have been full on production amphitheater affairs but I have to say this show blew them away on talent and entertainment alone, I will certainly be buying tickets when Kevin comes back to St. Louis!

First of all, We attend the show the previous night at the Dr. Phillips Performing Arts Center in Orlando and it was fantastic. Kevin did a meet and greet after the show and we requested some songs for the Ponte Vedra show. The Ponte Vedra show was just as amazing. The facility used to be a church and it was converted into a concert hall. It seats about 300 people. There was only about half that many there but they were 100% into the show. Much more audience participation than the previous night in Orlando. Kevin kept his word and played the songs we asked for which was great. He did another meet and greet after the show and signed a poster for me which I am having framed. If you get the chance to go see Kevin or BTE GO! If you get the chance to see a band you like at the Ponte Vedra Concert Hall GO! It is a great little intimate facility run by a great group of people. Most of them are volunteers.

Very entertaining and enthusiastic performance. Played to the 80s and 90s crowd perfectly.

Kevin Griffin is amazing. Funny, good story teller, creative, just all together entertaining. If you have a chance to see him, do it. The venue, The Bronze Peacock Room, is awful. People talking everywhere. No one paying attention. See him, but see him somewhere else.

Kevin was fantastic! His solo, acoustic set was one of the best.

Kevin Griffin puts on a fantastic show!!! He's so talented, funny and totally gorgeous!! I always have mixed emotions after his shows because I'm so happy to have seen him, yet sad because I want more!!! I can never get enough!!

I have been a proud Ezralite since I first heard them in the early 90's. I have had the awesome opportunity to see BTE in concert eight times and they are my favorite band. I have also seen Kevin and Ed Roland on their Southern Gentlemen tour. Kevin is a truly gifted songwriter, singer, and performer. Every time I have seen him, the show is unforgettable. His voice is amazing and he has the best sense of humor which he uses to delight the crowd! Being a true a Southerner, his (and BTE's) tour dates rarely come up North to the New England area but when it does happen I am there!!!!

Kevin Griffin of Better Than Ezra put on a great show, playing most of the bigger hits the band is known for, as well as breaking into riffs based on audience suggestions. The small venue allowed for an intimate setting, perfect for Griffin to connect with everyone.

Really cool venue. Intimate supper club vibe. Nachos looked huge and good. We had the mahi mahi And the half chicken. Both were good. Little expensive though. Highlight though was Kevin Griffin. All you tube videos don't do him justice. Just fantastic performer with charisma and stage presence.

If you've seen him perform with Better Than Ezra, you know what to expect... good times, fun banter and great music! He played lots of Better Than Ezra material and a few other non-BTE songs that he wrote with other artists. The only downside was the menu prices for BB King's. They charge a $10 minimum food and drink. I ate dinner before the show (thank goodness) so I ordered a dessert (all the desserts were priced at $10) so I got a regular coffee to go with it. The coffee was served in the tiniest mug I ever saw, like an espresso shot, and when the bill came it was $4 just for the shot of coffee!!! All in all, a great show, but outrageously priced menu items!
