Really enjoyed the arena football game. One thing I really didn't like was the venue. The seats are too small. I saw a few people leave due to the lack of space.

I can't thank the Pittsburgh Power enough for everything they did for me. I chose this event to propose to my fiancee, and the Power helped me so much to make this an extremely special night for us all. The game is the most exciting sports event out there. It combines the pace and excitement of hockey with the skill and speed of football.

I wasn't sure what to expect from arena football. It reminded me more of the pace of watching a basketball game as opposed to football. I thought the announcer was a bit annoying. The upper level, general admission seats were a lot more crowded than the lower level seating. I think for cheering purposes (and for what is seen on TV) lower ticket prices in the lower sections so that they would fill up more would be beneficial. I enjoyed my experience and would go again.

The venue is beautiful and the game was fun! The only thing that would have made it better is if the Power had won. It was still a fun game.

I used to go to the Pittsburgh Gladiators when they were around and enjoyed the indoor football in those days. The fast pace, the differences from NFL, the niche market all made indoor football a lot of fun. I guess I've changed a lot since then. What i don't like about the Pittsburgh Power is what i don't like about basketball: too much scoring and the last 2 minutes are all that really matter. The crowd was rowdy and fun, it was loud and pumped, it had all the makings of a good time at Consol, but it just left me disinterested. I can't even say thatbthe Sparks were all that interesting. Cute, yes. Sexy, definitely, but worth the trip, no. Parking cost as much as my 100 level tickets (with my Pens season ticket holder discount) which I found disappointing. Chatam could have driven away lots of potential fans just by charging $20 for parking. I'm also not sure where they sell real beer on the 100 level. I had to go to the 200 level to get a non-light beer.

the game was exciting...show just how fun arena football can be..a much better product that i remember back in the gladiator days...on the neagtive end..bad planning which caused the trib gate not to be open with only a half hour left until kickoff....souvenirs were cheap./.not worth buying...for such an event would have been nice to offer better quality and choice...but those gaffes were minor to the game...it was a great experience

The Power didn't belong on the same field with the SabreCats! I gave it an overal rating of one because I can't give it a ZERO. Austin can't quarterback, Washington dropped passes, the offensive line had HUGE holes in it, the defense couldn't stop anybody, and most frustrating of all was the kickoff return guy who instinctively stopped all forward progress at the 5 yard line and tried some move that fools no one and is tackled right at the five. Pitt-iful[sic] performance! The Power will have to put a much better product on the field to get me to spend money on them again. The Sparks were at least decent and can't beat $1.00 hot dogs.

The Arena was nice the game was ok. The Announcer needs some work on not saying there was a touchdown if a flag was thrown. Tickets are still pretty pricey. The teams seemed like they were just going through the motions at times and playing not to get hurt.

Anyone who likes football but doesn't get into Arena football needs to go see it live! Awesome! We sat 3rd row behind Philly bench (I'm a Soul fan so this was great) & got to interact with the players throughout game. View was great, action right in front of you. The ticket was $90, you can't get that experience at an NFL game for that kind of $$$ if at all. Andrae Thurman is a class act!

The family (ages 11,15, 46, 48) all had a great time at the Pgh Power game. If you are looking for a inexpensive entertaining event I recommend going. $1 drinks and dogs also helped the bottom line. Although the home team lost they were competitive and never out of the competition, plenty to cheer about. The kids enjoyed it the most, always something going on, cheering, jumbotron dancing and plenty of flash. We are definitely going to another game.

This was my first ever Arena Football game and I enjoyed it from start to finish. You can't complain about $1 Hot dogs and $1 Sodas Or the high paced action on the field. Sat super close to the field, was only 6 rows from the field and the tickets were very reasonably priced. Lots of give-a-ways and promotional stuff to get the crowd involved as much as possible and overall just a great way to spend 2-3 hours.

I have been to 4 previous Pittsburgh Power games. The games are fun and action packed but this game seemed to have a lot more stoppages than any of the previous games that I have attended. The game dragged on and on. In addition the Pittsburgh team is simply not competitive like it was last year. In the first quarter Jacksonville scored at will while Pittsburgh could not muster a single first down. This was the last game of the season, I am looking forward to next year and hopefully a more competitive team. The games are fun and entertaining to attend.

I went to this because I've never been to an arena football and didn't know what to expect. I found the game so boring that I wanted to leave early but I stayed until the end. The children seemed to like it, and they get to meet the players after the game. Here's what I found: - Arena football is very similar to normal football except the field is half the size. - The arena was about 25% filled. It was very empty. - IMPORTANT: Most of the entertainment was provided by the kids and teenagers dancing so they could get on the big screen. - I expected rowdier football. At one point, a couple players dove over the wall for a catch. That was the only really exciting play. - The dancers were ok but I didn't find their routines especially notable. If you go: - Don't bother paying for the pricier seats. With most of the arena empty, the ushers didn't seem to care if people moved down to better seats. - There's a chance that you can catch a football if you sit behind the end zones, in the lower areas.

I was a season ticket holder this year and I am appalled with how this season has turned out. Tonight's game was just another feather in the cap of failure that is the Power. An onside kick, in the last minute..really? And that final drive, just embarrassing. It's no wonder that the fanbase is dwindling.

Arena Football is the most fun and fan friendly sport out there. I wish the players and coaches and league would get their act together and stop all the fighting so they could concentrate on building a fan base. There won't be any paychecks if there are no fans. The only downside of the game aside from losing by one point in the last 30 seconds, was the abominable, atrocious and appalling half time show. Actually two awful performances. They could have saved the money and just let the Sparks dance.

So much fun! Arena Football has an amazing vibe and fans. I would say it will become more popular over the years. The $1 hotdogs and 7-up soda is always a plus for this venue. Honestly I don't see how people give this sport bad review. Power is a new team so it will take time for talent to be fully developed. Fan here to stay! Go Power!

I had just checked into the Cambria Hotel next door...so I got into the elevator to ride down to the hotel room. Unbeknownst to me was a button to push for the Consol Energy Center, right out of that elevator. Walked out at that floor, and wen t through a set of double doors. I asked if I can enter the game here, the guy handed me a free shirt, and showed me the direction to my seat (without me asking). En route, got hungry. Bought - just $5 - a couple of truly fine, a little bit nicely spicy, bratwursts. They were fine. Arena half full, so I could spread out. My seat was right in front of the cheerleaders as well. Great game, you could see everything, and what you could not see, they were showing you doubled-up on the hanging big screen t.v. overhead. Excellent cheerleader 1/2 time show! I have been to this venue before to see the wrestling (see my earlier review). Liked it too. There seems to be a big emphasis on ticketholder satisfaction, and the customer is always right. Because of that, I will keep going back to this place each time I am in Pittsburgh, and see more events there, and spend $ there. Just as well spend it at a place where I am treated like royalty. Maybe next time, I'll see the hockey.

There's nothing like Arena football. I've even had front row seats to the Steelers, but it was just nowhere near as exciting as Power games. If you're in the first few rows and you talk trash, the players will not hesitate to give it back to you. You can catch a stray ball even 10 rows up, and unlike the NFL you get to keep it. The small field and rules favor a fast paced game with lots of scoring, which keeps the excitement going nonstop. Fortunately for Power fans, we have the best defense in the league which keeps the scoring against us down while scoring lots of points on defense. Tickets are absurdly cheap. Even the $15 seats have you way closer to the action than you'll ever get at an NFL game. It's fun how interactive it is, the way players will talk to the fans near them when getting ready for a kickoff or during time outs. Kids especially love the end of the game where everyone is invited onto the field to play around and get autographs and pictures with players. My 8 year old niece hated football until she got forced to go to a game due to a lack of a babysitter. A fist bump from the defensive end later and suddenly that little girl that wouldn't let anyone watch the Super Bowl in peace was a maniacal football fan. There's nothing negative or even neutral that I can say, it is really all around that great of a night every time!

This is great football, but at a much more personal level. You feel like you could reach out and touch the players. I'm from Pittsburgh and I love football! Great event for NFL offseason. After the game, we got to meet the players and get them to sign a shirt. For the most part, they were all really nice and really kid friendly. I went with a group of people all between the ages of 28 - 35 and we all had a blast. I'd go see another game in a heart beat! 100% better than a pirate game anyday! :D Oh... and Pittsburgh did beat Cleveland! :) So the Power rocks in my book!

I would go again if I could wear earplugs! Those horns buzzing the whole time were annoying! I enjoyed the game, but I didn't think it needed as much hype as the announcer, Bubba was giving it. The intensity of the game spoke voulmes, well enough on its own.

Seats were not very good, and was unaware that it was POWER HORN GIVEAWAY NIGHT! Very loud PA address and music...........And 1000's of people blowing those obnoxious horns continually! Pyrotechnics that left smoke in the air through most of the first quarter...............Sensory overload. We left at 1/2 time and will not be going to another Power game. More for kids and people with young kids that want that experience. GLAD we didn't buy season tickets like we thought about doing!

1st time to arena football 1. Announcer has terrible voice for this. Shrill voice and although excited, couldn't understand most of what he said 2. Either the teams were terrible, or this is standard, but it seemed like the game had no chance to "flow" because of all the penalties. 3. That is partially why the game was quite boring. 4. Fans in front row (below section 107) were extremely abusive to players and refs. No effort to control them. 5 Arena very clean and nice. Price for refreshments was reasonable. 6. Handling out horns before National Anthem was basically foolish as it had to be known that some would be blowing them during the singing. Especially on Armed Services night. 7. My plan was to bring 8 other people, including two under 10 year olds, and am glad they had to cancel. 8. Guess you can't please everyone.

I had a lot of unexpected fun at Consol Energy Center watching the Pittsburgh Power beat the Cleveland Gladiators. I would NEVER pay full price for anything except general admission. Anyone charging more than $70 per ticket (no matter where the seat is) is charging too much..but the event is a lot of fun!

The pre-game and in-game music was way too loud. The public address announcer was also way too loud. We took my grandson to his first game and he had to go and stand in the concourse area because of the loudness of all the above. People at the game are very inconsiderate of others. Getting up during the game and blocking your view. Because of all the above, we left at half time. It was a very un-enjoyable experience. I will never attend another Power game.

The game we attended was very exciting. we sat in the general admission seating, and my only complaints were, it was cold and bubba was very loud. Too loud at times. but overall we would attend again and we hope the good ppl of pittsburgh start showing up, and supporting the power

Went with five family members to see the Pittsburgh Power with low expectations as a chance to see the new Consol Center. By the end of the game we were on our feet, fist pumping as the Power came back to win. Great time, Super Pittsburgh fans, with a special nod to the "blind" ref, he kept us laughing all game. We will be back.

Evidently, the costs to the seats are to high for families so the entire middle sections are empty. Definitely need to reduce the cost of the tickets until the Pittsburgh Power takes hold in Pittsburgh

The Consol Center is terrific and the staff is great. The food venues were reasonably priced and great selection. The sport of Arena Football takes some getting use to! BUT, the sound system was so LOUD that people were taking there kids out to the lobby area to give their hearing a break. I'm 52 and my head pounded for an hour AFTER the game over.

Fantastic game and great atmosphere. The crowd really got into the game in the 2nd half. This is my 3rd game and each one has gotten better. These players really provide an exciting product. I believe everyone should give it a chance. There is nothing quite like watching football from that close.
