Summer Soul

All the groups were awesome. I really enjoyed Midnight Star the most. The only downfall I can see was food options. It took almost and hour for us to receive our order. I think there should be more of a selection of food than wine, beer ect.

The venue was organized and very pleasant! The sound system was awesome. Midnight Star started the party off right!!! El Debarge was awesome!!

I really enjoyed the concert. I underestimated El Debarge. He ruled the whole show basically. Cameo put on a good show except they should have left their little cousins at home. The rapping was the worst.

Midnight Star were great and El DeBarge sounds the same. It was well worth the 50.00+ tickets I enjoy the event.

I really enjoyed the show midnight star debarge..and cameo did their thing that was my music era I went with my daughter and she enjoyed the old school the jam section in between debarge and cameo had everyone on their feets

It was the bomb, the atmosphere, the weather everything was great!!!!

El Debarge was great! Only wish he'd have a live band not use tracks. Midnight star was ok, but I was really disappointed by Cameo's performance and left about 3 songs in. They brought two rappers along that really weren't good! In addition they seemed tired and I really wouldn't pay to see them again.

It was evident that these entertainers have been around for a while, as they don't "entertain" like they used to, but that aside, the music was awesome, the weather was beautiful, and it was great to see the sea of white as worn by those of us in attendance.

Enjoyed all the performers. I was especially excited to see El DeBarge since I had been a fan from the very beginning. He did an awesome job and kept the crowd standing. Midnigt Starr was great. I didn't realize they made so many hits. I remember all of the songs, but didn't realize it was theirs. Cameo performed songs that I had not heard in a long time. They are the funkmasters.

Midnight Star opened the show and really had us on our feet. They jammed for about an hour and played all of our favorite songs. Enjoyed them. We were still hyped when El came on stage and he looked sooo good! He really kept the crowd going. When he sang There'll Never Be and I Call Your Name, EVERYONE stood up. Good to hear the old songs and Lay With You. He hit the high notes as usual and didn't disappoint. Cameo, where should I start? Larry Blackmon, what's wrong with him. He would sing for a few minutes, then disappear to the back of the stage and sit down. This continued several times with the other members of the band carrying most of the performance. At some points, Larry would sing, move like he was stiff and then stand there facing the band with his back to the audience. How disrespectful! We paid money to see Cameo perform (including him). Should have paid the guy sitting next to me since he sang more than Larry. I don't know if he is sick or what, but if so, he needs to retire. For this reason, I won't be going to see Cameo again! Overall, I enjoyed the show with the exception of Cameo. Guess two out of three ain't bad.

Cameo was disappointing. Their performance involved too much talking and not enough singing. The did not sing some of their best songs such as Cameosis and Shake Your Pants. Instead, they wasted time by allowing 2 talentless rappers to perform. Next time, leave the Gecko brothers at home and use your time on stage wisely.

This all white affair was terrific; the weather was perfect; the show started on time and all the bands did the darn thang!!!!!!! El DeBarge performance was awesome and he sounds great. It was amazing to see that Midnight Star still has its original members; WOW!!!!! And Cameo ended the show; ohhhhhh what a treat. they came out with their costumes which reminded me of how they performed so many many years ago. Cameo definitely brought their "A" game. I just wish they could have performed longer. I will definitely without any doubt attend another show of this magnitude if it comes back to the Greensboro, NC area. Kudos to all the bands!!!!!!!!!

I really enjoyed the show. All the acts were great. Only negative was the port a potties. They need to build an actual restroom.

I had an awesome time at the concert. I would definitely, like to go to another one next month.
