So glad I made the trek down from Maine to see this show! The Del Fuegos still have the energy of their younger days! Infectious, no nonsense rock n' roll! Their opening act, The Nervous Eaters, where great too! I'll go see either band again if I ever get the chance. It was also my first time at The Paradise Rock Club and I can't wait to go back. An awesome venue for live shows. 2 thumbs up!

So glad that I made the trek down from Maine to see The Del Fuegos play live one more time. They still have the energy of bands much younger than themselves. Infectious and uncomplicated rock n' roll! The opening band, The Nervous Eaters, where great too! Another bunch of old guys staying young by playing rock n' roll ( I'm 45 myself, so I'm no spring chicken lol ) If I ever get a chance to see either band again, I'll be there. It was also my first time at The Paradise Rock Club and I can't wait to go back. An awesome place to see a live show. 2 thumbs up!

Fuegos show at Paradise 2/22/12 was not the best. The first three, four songs had technical problems with Warren's guitar not working. This was obvious within seconds yet the band and crew let this continue way to long. Once corrected band was sounding pretty good although the overall volume of guitars and the whole band was to low. The June 2011 shows seemed much better. Still loved the show and would like to see The Fuegos again.

The Zanes Brothers, Dan & Warren along with Woody Giessmann, Tom Lloyd and Brother Cleve are back after a quarter century with a high energy reunion tour! They put out a wonderfully clean mix of classic originals along with selections from their self proclaimed current "EEP" release 'Silver Star'. I was positively moved by the beautifully touching love song "Through You Eyes" while finding it impossible not to get these aging bones of mine moving to "Time Slips Away" and "Friday Night". Love the Brooklyn/Jersey jibe of "The Midnight Train". All in all we had a great blast of the past while enjoying the benefits of the Del Fuegos refined new material. I hope to make it back for next weekend when the boys invade Brooklyn for the second to last performance of the reunion tour! The Del Feugos live is too HOT to miss!!! ROCK ON BOYS!!

I had the privleige to help out Bill Kenney Production's that nite and I have seen them before. I did have and Access pass to anyplace in the Paradise Club. There is no doubt in my mind that they had the BEST Comeback Performance of the Year, and all for the great doings of Woody Giessmann's "Right Turn" Recovery House.. In Arlington MA. It was one of the best shows I have been too. And trust me I was back stage with all of the best bands back in the 80's. With a band called "Midnight Traveler" Who's drummer Joe Donnelly played for The Del Fuegos for a short time. Would love to see them again !!!!

This was an incredible concert. I never thought I would get a chance to see my favorite band from my youth. So when I heard they were getting together again, I was THRILLED. And they did not disappoint. If I closed my eyes, I was transported back to my college years. They looked as if they were having as much fun as the audience. They were tight!! I hope this was not a one-time event, but if it was I'm grateful I could be there. If you get the chance to see them - jump on it!

These guys were as good, if not better than 18 years ago! Sound was great, they looked like they were having a great time- lots of energy. They did not disappoint.... only disappointed that they're not putting out new stuff. What a great night.

Their 2nd of 2 shows on Friday was a throw back to the 80s where the Del Fuegos rocked the house sounding as good if not better than ever. Playing most of their tunes from their first two albums, their fans from the eighties enjoying singing along with the band. A great night with the opening act with the Lyres with a pretty cool puppet show during intermission revisiting the Boston music scene in the 80s. The night was a benefit show supporting Right Turn, an addiction and recovery center. A win win for all involved. Hope to see the Fuegos again soon.

Pretty amazing that after 25 yrs or so they might have been even more fun than back then!!! What made them great then was it was impossible not to dance whenever they played....completely true now as ever......

The Del Fuegos reunion was awesome. They were great and well rehearsed. The sound and vibe brought me back to the good ol college days of the 1980's. If they don't get back together, I hope they make this an annual fund raisng event.

What an amazing show! They sounded great, they looked great, they were obviously having a blast AND they rocked that place harder than Los Lonely Boys did one week before (I was there for both shows). I could not have loved the show more, I wish it weren't just a reunion, I wish they were on a long tour so that I could see them AGAIN...

I loved the Del Fuegos first album, Boston, MA, but this was my first time seeing them live. It was a great show, even if many of the songs didn't seem to have quite the raw edge that the album tracks had. My guess is that's the result of Dan Zanes singing for kid shows for the last decade or so. (Those are highly recommended; I've seen him 4-5 times.) And he couldn't stop smiling - another force of habit from the kid shows, I'm guessing. On the other hand, there was a lot to smile about, seeing and hearing all those old Fuegos tunes from the original members. All in all, a great night. Hope we don't have to wait another 10 years for more.

It has been 20 plus years since I had last seen the Del Fuegos on Stage. I gotta tell you to me they were better now then they were back in the 80's. They were Electrifying on stage. You could feel the electricity in the crowd while they were playing. They looked like they were having so much fun and played with tons of energy that they spread it right through the crowd. That was just plain and simple an awesome show to be at for the first night of their reunion/Right Turn Benefit concert. What a great cause to be playing for also. I really hope that they find a way to continue playing together and not wait another 20 years to do so again.

Enthusiastic crowd of a certain age that clearly came to revive memories of a younger time. Same for the band. It worked! Some tunes took us all back thirty years, and the band seemed to find revived energy. They all looked younger.
