Nice, clean show with Masters of Jazz providing background music flawlessly and a good performance from the singer, performing classics that are dearly loved.

He started out off key and ended off key. In the middle it was just ok.

I bought tickets to this show for my fiancee and my future in-laws. I love the Rat-Pack era music and we were all looking forward to seeing it performed live. The band seemed good, but when Michael Matone started singing, at first I thought he was off-key. After he warmed up a little, I realized he was just flat. The songs were so slow that if I heard them being played in an elevator like that, I would have fallen asleep. The singing was missing the swing, the punch of the Sinatra songs. When he worked his way up to the finale, he said he was swimming extra laps to have enough breath to sing it but forgot to announce it as the last song. He sang "Mack the Knife", but got lost in the middle of the song. He couldn't recover and got the piano player to bring them back to where he left off. At the end, he acknowledged it was the last song, apologized for forgetting the lyrics, asked if anyone knew of a cheap condo in St. Paul, and said he would see people in the lobby after the show. This was the worst professional singing performance I've ever seen.
