The future professional quarterback gained a certain fame thanks to a deep understanding of his responsibilities, reading defenses, and organizing his teammates during training sessions.
College success
During college, Manning played at the University of Tennessee for the Tennessee Volunteers, and after graduating, he was regarded as one of the most talented quarterbacks ever. Indeed, unlike most prospects, Manning did not attract too much attention, being simply a highly talented athlete. Instead, he became a star due to his hard work and progressive improvement in his skills.
This way, it could be said that during his university studies, Manning managed to develop such traits as size, ability to organize the offense, leadership, and a good command of football knowledge. By that time, the athlete was already famous as the best quarterback in that year's NFL Draft. Also, the choice of Tennessee at the time, when most stars went directly to the pros, is noteworthy and contributed to establishing his image.
