We Can Survive

The perfect concert for my 16 yo granddaughter. She was ecstatic through the entire concert! Great sound! Few sound hiccups were resolved quickly. Good, slightly obstructed, view! Great venue!

The night couldn't have been better for an outdoor concert. The promoters chose an exceptional showcase of talent and genres for this event. Lorde, Niall, and Sam were the standouts however Macklemore was a real crowd pleaser. No one left the show disappointed

This concert was incredible, every act was so good and this is a concert that I will never forget! The main reason I bought tickets was to see Harry, Kesha, Lorde, and Sam Smith, but everyone was so good!

Nowhere can you go that you can sit outside in the beautiful scenery and watch 10 great artists sing their most popular and unreleased songs. Totally awesome. For those hiring babysitters for the night, the concert started at 6:30p and ended at 11p. FYI.

Had a wonderful time but need a better pick of seats next time only give you one chose at a time dose not work for me.

I loved the whole venue, great job people. loved izzy, when jennifer lopez came out, i got real tuned up. aranna grande was excellent power house voice, sia did good job sound just as good in person as her cd. Pherrell turned it out loved when gwen stephani debuted. lady antebellum was good/ glad to have been apart of ladies of great cancer.

This was a great event, lots of talent! Paramore Rocked it, Lady Antebellum was amazing, Taylor Swift was great but too bad she wasn't given more time.... Pharrell was horrible closing act, he has talent but his performance was too long and had we known that he's be given so long to sing I may have reconsidered as would others sitting around many up and left during his performance. That bad, Gwen only did one song and not even her newest single. Over all is was a good night with much talent. To bad the real BIG stars where limited in their time.

Next to the 121212 concert this was amazing. I do wish Alicia Keys and Taylor Swift has done a song to two more. Firework show was tops!

This has always been one of my favorite venues. I love how the Hollywood gives freebies and allow food. It was great night that ended with a firework show.

My sister and I took our girls (8 and 10 years old) for their first concert! It was a night we will remember forever!

Honestly the best concert I've ever been to. Everyone was amazing and there wasn't any moment where I wasn't enjoying myself. It was such a privilege to be in the presence of such great talent!

I missed Sia and the very beginning of Paramore, but the rest was awesome! I would say Paramore and Taylor Swift had the crowd most engaged! Not a huge fan of Ariana Grande, but she was okay.

although i didn't have the perfect seats and i couldn't see very well its still the best night of my life

The event was super fun. It was like watching a radio station. Each artist played 3-6 songs until Pharrell closed show. Wish there was more GWEN! And I was hoping for more collaborations but overall enjoyed the evening. We took the shuttle so parking wasn't an issue.

I came for mainly Paramore and they were amazing!! Hayley, the lead singer saw my light up poster and smiled, waved at me and blew me a kiss! The Security guards there were very nice and I have been to venues where they are not nice at all. The only sad part was that Hayley always invites someone to sing with her and she didn't pick anyone this time. Not sure if they venue didn't allow it or if they were on a time crunch. I also found Paramore after and met them!! Also I know this isn't the venues fault, but I wish they didn't serve alcohol because the guy behind me spilled beer on my stuff and the girls stuff next to me. I didn't really mind because I had just met Paramore and yea.

This was seriously one of the best shows I've ever been to! Everyone was amazing, my daughter was in heaven!!!!

Most fun I have had in a long time. Great performers and great crowd. Are you kidding? Four and a half hours of great music and dancing. Mixed crowd in terms of age and everyone just came to have fun.

This is one of the best locations to see a concert!!!! We went to the Katy Pery event last year to support Breast Cancer and this concert was over the top . OMG where can you see such power house singers in one evening. Everything about it was fantastic. Cant wait to see who will perform next year . Thank you Hollywood Bowl and all of the people that made this event so special.

Event was advertised with Taylor Swift as the headliner. She wasn't. In fact, she played fewer songs than the three acts she followed. It was very disappointing!! Pharrell was actually the headliner and they had significant technical difficulties during his performance that made the show drag. If you're going to this event in the future, make sure you like all the performers and that way you won't be disappointed when your favorite artist only makes an appearance. For the cost of the tickets, it's worth going to see so many artists and to benefit charity all in one night.

The entire concert was wonderful!!!! The light sticks that were provided made it really beautiful and the weather that night was PERFECT!!! It was a great evening!

The line up was great but it wasn't clear as to who was going to be the main performance. I was hoping to see more of Gwen stefani and Taylor Swift. I was sad when Gwen only came out for one song with Pharrell.

Of all the concerts I've been too, none has had such an amazing lineup of artists in one night for a charitable cause. I also sat in one of the box seats at the front at the Hollywood Bowl and the music was loud enough as if I were to a smaller venue, but with amazing bands and artists.

Amazing venue. The Hollywood Bowl staff really knows how to move their patrons to different areas of parking. Simply amazing how well organized it all was. The performances were top-notch!

The concert was great, sound was amazing as usual. With the bowl, acoustics are always spot on, and if it isn't raining being outside is amazing. Everything was pricey as it always is at concerts nowadays, but with the bowl we brought our own food and drinks so that is another reason to love going there. The performers were awesome, although kind of an eclectic lineup. But I like all kinds of music, so I liked everyone of the performers. I thought Taylor seemed a bit like eh, not real excited to be performing there but she was good. Alicia Keys we amazing, as was Lady A. Nobody was terrible, although there were technical equipment difficulties during the show for some performers. But they soldiered on, and did a great job regardless.

The line up for this concert was great! They sang just the right amount of songs and it was just an incredible evening. Great seats! Great night! Wish i could do it again.

Incredible experience to see all of these artists perform in one concert! Alicia Keys voice sounded awesome, despite her being so pregnant - super impressive pipes! Jennifer Lopez was a fun surprise and elevated Iggy's performance to the next level. I feel like Taylor Swift could have easily sung one or two more songs...we felt a bit gipped by her short set (shorter than the others). Ariana Grande was the same old, same old...not impressed at all. Lastly, Pharrell Williams ended the show with a bang! Not only were the fireworks a cool spectacle, the way he spoke and connected with the audience was fantastic! I went in as a PW fan and came away from the show as a Super-Fan! The best performer of the night, by far!

The All-star lineup was phenomenal! I felt like the event itself though was poorly managed. I didn't understand why artist that had collaborated together didn't do their songs together. There were also several technical difficulties during the show. AND WHAT HAPPENED TO GWEN?!! Why put her on the bill at all if she only made a tiny guest appearance? I bought the tickets under the notion that she was the headliner. Very disappointing!

From Sia to Paramore to to Taylor Swift to Lady Antebellum to Ariana Grande to Gwen Stephanie and so forth, man, this was the most exciting concert I have been to this year and possibly in my entire life. My heart was so happy from how wonderful LIVE everyone sounded. I wasn't a fan of Iggy but the performance with JLO is the only one I liked from her. Also, I wish Gwen Stephanie had her own set. I wish she wasn't just Pharrell special guest. The firework show at the end was so awesome and I love the fact that they gave everyone a pink bracelet and a light up Styrofoam stick to wave about lol. I will be back the next event if that line up is as good as this one was.

This whole show is always absolutely amazing! And goes toward a great cause.

Everything was perfect: the weather, the food at the Wine Bar, all the acts! The standouts were P!nk, Lorde, the Sams and Macklemore! Great night! Great experience!!

I've been to so many concerts, but this one was so awesome . It had such a great line up. The artists were all into it and gave it their all.. Will definitely watch this concert again

I was only interested in the event for 1 performer and it turned out to be an amazing event overall. The entire line up was amazing and just to see who was preforming after who had me at the edge of my seat since I like knowing orders ahead of time.

Everyone who performed was so amazing and it was just so much fun to get up and dance to my favorite artist.Niall horan was the surprise guest then Harry Styles came out later to perform and my heart bursted with happiness.

I brought my 14 year old daughter and we had a blast! This was our first "We Can Survive" event, and we'll definitely make it an annual tradition. Everything was great...the venue, the performers, it was an amazing night, and all for a great cause!

This show was amazing! I took my girls and they they loved being able to see more than just 1 performer. The concert was full of energy!! We want to go back next year!!!

Another great WCS show at the Hollywood Bowl enjoyed from some Terrace Box seats. The line up was not as strong as last year's, but it was an entertaining night of popular songs. The only real downside was that the special guest this time was the Backstreet Boys. CBS Radio, you could've done better than those has beens! We are already looking forward to next year's show!

Great event! I am so glad I purchased tickets....plus it's all for a great cause. Each performer did a fantastic job. Backstreet Boys was an awesome surprise...don't know how they pulled that one off. The moment I've been waiting for - Bruno Mars. He is such a talented performer. I definitely going to one of his shows when he goes on tour. The fireworks were a nice touch to end the concert.

This was one of the BEST concerts I've eve been to!!! The lineup was amazing, the vibe was so fun and lively and can we just talk about those surprise guests!? I cant wait until next year. Seriously!

If you've never been to a multi-artist event like this, you are missing out on a rare experience. Bruno Mars to OneRepublic to Ariana Grande to Pitbull!!! Throw in some retro Backstreet Boys! Awesome! We can't wait for next year!

All the acts were excellent. This our third year attending. More than just a concert it is a music event ending with a great fireworks show.

Loved it all -- Bruno Mars alone was worth the price of admission! Beautiful night and everyone was so genuinely happy to be there and support a great cause.

The concert was great! Four and a half hours of nearly non stop music. Top names in music performed including a surprise band Backstreet Boys! Very entertaining! Great sound system, super clear video screens. The only reason I am reviewing this event 4 out of 5 stars is the nightmare of leaving the venue when the event is over. To exit the facility you are forced to walk through about 50 super aggressive t-shirt selling individuals. They get in your face and it is very annoying. I would encourage all patrons of the Hollywood Bowl to not purchase any of these cheap knockoff shirts to discourage this practice.

My husband and I really loved the entire show. It was well orchestrated with great talent and nice surprised guests the Back Street Boys. I was on my feet dancing and signing 90% of the time. Charlie Puth, Meghan Trainor, Pitbull and Bruno Mars were incredible. II will look forward to future events like this. I loved the glow sticks and seeing how everyone enjoyed using them throughout the show.

This was one of the biggest concerts I've been to, and by far my favorite concert overall. The performers killed it, the venue was excellent, and the concert merchandise was really nice. I'm definitely going to try to make it an annual outing!

This amazing lineup of artists KICKED A$$!!!!! A magical evening under the stars at the Hollywood Bowl allowed the audience to show solidarity in their resolve to help aid Cancer research. The seven headliners: Bruno Mars \u2022 Ariana Grande \u2022 Charlie Puth \u2022 G-Eazy \u2022 Meghan Trainor \u2022 Pitbull \u2022 One Republic were joined by the Backstreet Boys in a most memorable concert event.

I knew this was going to be good. I didn't know how good! Non-stop music for over four hours. Best part of the night was the surprise performance from Backstreet Boys. We will definitely be back. Oh, and it was our first time at the Hollywood Bowl. What an amazing venue with incredible acoustics.

Brought my 9 year old daughter, she loved the show! Great mommy daughter date for a good cause. Made awesome memories can't wait for next years show!

My first time ever at a concert and it was far from a disappointment! Every artist did a great job and the vibe and people there was a great.

I had so much fun dancing the night away, G-Eazy, Pitbull, Backstreet Boys. BRUNO MARS, everybody was so good. The evening was perfect. I hope to attend this charity event every year. The fireworks at the end were beautiful.

All the bands were amazing! Charlie Puth was so talented on the piano! Meghan Trainor Is such a fun artist to watch & her performance was great! And Bruno Mars is such an amazing talent! So glad to see him back preforming live & this concert didn't disappoint!

I really liked the variety of the lineup. Event was well paced, with adequate time to use the restroom periodically. Would have preferred a longer set for some of the later acts. Favorites were Lady Antebellum, Taylor, Sia and Pharrell. ** Venue: Overall it was pretty clean, didn't see much trash on the ground, staffing was good. Had positive interactions with all Hollywood Bowl staff. Event goers were well behaved too. Seating area was as expected, though the goodies left on the seats were a pleasant surprise. CBS and AMP Radio did a great job marketing the event appropriately throughout the venue. ** Transportation: Used the Shuttle / Park & Ride option, which was a great way to get to the bowl. Avoided traffic on the freeway and the tandem parking fiasco. Only draw back was leaving a bit early to make sure we made our bus on time. Bus was clean and not crowded. ** Food: Like any venue, not a great value. But the option to bring your own food is great. Alcohol was incredibly expensive, but I expected it. Just wish if they were charging $9 it was for a good beer and Sangria for $28 is absurd. **Dislikes: Leaving early to catch the bus home, costly food and beverage, late start compared to what was printed on tickets, no mention of fundraising amount for cancer (the event was supposed to be for charity, I'd like to know what was raised) **Likes: Ease of travel to and from the bowl, variety of performances, clean venue, polite staff,

All the performers were FABULOUS! Niall Horan was a surprise guest, the crowd went wild! Sam Smith, WOW, that voice! Harry Styles, super cool! Unforgettable evening with my 15 year old daughter! She is a HUGE One Direction fan, so she was in tears with her favorite boys! We can't wait for next year to support such a wonderful cause for breast cancer awareness! <3 : )

Took my 17 year old niece and was not disappointed. Awesome cause, awesome line up, awesome performances, and veryyyyyyyy punctual!!! Would do again in a heart beat!

I can't even express how happy I am for this night, I knew it would be the best when Niall was announced as a special guest.

This is the third one I attend. Great artists, but overall the night was a major disappointment. The radio DJs didn't come out on stage to introduce artists (only the surprise guest, Niall Horan) had a live person introduce him. Sets were way too short. Headliner P!nk (who I was excited to see) only performed 4 songs. There was no grand finale, like past years. I literally left shaking my head in disbelief.

The acts were SO much better in 2016, and the energy in the crowd wasn't that great. This is because this years' acts just didn't have the large, general fan bases necessary to make this a fun event! 70% of the fanbase were teenies there for Harry Styles. Despite this fact, we managed to enjoy ourselves. Maybe tell the lighting guy not to the blind the audience though? Seriously...

For this concert i was excited to see multiple people preform and especially i was excited to see Harry Styles preform. When we walked in the staff were really helpful to where we needed to go. Then when we came to the seating area they helped us find our seats. The view was great even though we sat pretty far from the stage. The sound was really good and the screens help see the artists better. When Sam Hunt came out i was really excited. Then Sam Smith came out and it was unbelievable he was so amazing his vocals were amazing. Then the moment of truth finally came and Harry Styles came out i was so excited and emotional he was phenomenal. This was the best concert ever i will never forget it.

Every single artists had amazing vocals. Not disappointed at all. Everyone's voices sounded just like the radio version but better!!!!

Each performance left you wanting more but next guest made you forget last performer. Never heard of the Country singer Sam Hunt but took it as a restroom break.

The lighting was great. The audio mostly good (I noted that several artists had problems with in ear monitors. The performers gave it their all. Unfortunately we had a bad incident in the row in front of us (extreme drunkeness so security had to remove person against her will) and next to us...couple was a little too "loving" and intruded on my 9 year old grandson's space. A bit disappointed that highlight...Pink...had such a short set as she was the "finale". Great to see Sam Smith; Macklemore was incredible.

5 hours of non stop TOP performers. Wow!!! I will be there next year for sure.

Not as good as the 2016 line up, only single artists, no bands or groups this year. Surprise guest Niall Horan was the best in the bunch in the line up this year.

Bought tickets because P!nk, Sam Smith and Maklamore were performing. Sam Smith was cut short to 3 songs to allowed someone not listed on the line up and who I ve never heard of, play. Waited until 10:15 for P!nk who ended up just singing 3 songs!!!! In all the concerts I ve attended over the yrs. the closer ends up putting a hell of a show. I am very disappointed and will never attend a We Can Survive concert. There are other charity concerts available which I ve attended that have put together memorable line ups.

The set changes were very quick and had short videos to pass the time. The artists were on time and it was very quick, each with 4-5 songs.

The lineup was amazing, all the artists and their songs were so great! The environment made the show unforgettable and definitely one of the best concerts I've ever been to!
