My friend and I travelled over 6,000 miles from London especially to see Angels & Airwaves and we both thought it was worth the journey - and the jetlag! My friend, PG thought the gig was "Rocking". The venue at Hard Rock Hotel was ace and it was great to be able to wander around and see all the memorabilia of other great rock bands and legends. My only criticism would be of the stage set - the lighting was very intense and made it difficult to see the performers. They were consistently in a fog of red/blue/green - I know this was probably intentional but it would have been nice just to have seen their faces a bit more. On a more personal note, we thought Tom looked a bit scruffy (like he hadn't gone to much effort) and also felt he could have engaged with the crowd a bit more! We both bought some commemorative tee shirts and went away very happy!

Honestly, what these 4 guys put together on a stage, you dont see at your regular show. They arent a bunch of sweaty guys screaming, or just going through the motions. There is something epic about attending an AVA show, ive been to 7 shows, and not once was I dissapointed. The guys look like the enjoy what they do, and the fans sing their hearts out. The lighting and laser effects are well thought out. Definately cant wait for the next show.

Angels and Airwaves put on a great show. Their songs sound very good live and I was very impressed by their stage show. I have been waiting for over 3 years to see them perform and it was definitely worth the wait!

Personally, I had a blast! The band was great, down to earth, and put on an amazing show! Instead of using pre-recorded tracks from the album they manually added all of the extra sounds.

I've listened to AvA for years and love their sound. Each song has a similar idea connected to love - which makes me fall for Tom DeLong's voice even harder haha. It was so amazing to see him again. Although it was difficult to hear the lyrics in this particular venue, it was all worth it. I guess the way the Main Street Armory is built doesn't make it easy for you to hear the band's true sound everywhere - which is mega lame. If you stood directly in front of the stage their words were clearer. AvA will always remain one of my true favorite's forever. Love this band.

Angles and Airwaves escapes from the standard rock show, yelling, typical event by creating a show that uses enhanced visual effects and great music. And Tom Delonge is just amazing to see, he dances, tells his story, gets audience participation. While he takes center stage Atom still stuns audience with dynamic, original drumming while David and Matt switch between guitars, keyboard, bass and drums. Overall one of the best nights ever

Angels and Airwaves was great! The building EPIC though was not the great. They had the bar up stair so only people over 21 could go. And I'm pretty short so it was hard to see, EPIC should let all people to go up stairs.

The show was fabulous, and Bogart's is a great venue, although it's not in the best part of town. Really loved Say Anything, they rocked pretty hard, and were really fun to watch. AvA was good, but their show was a little too much lights and not enough entertainment for me. I am used to the Tom DeLonge from blink-182, so it was just a little weird seeing him in such a different environment, but he's obviously very passionate about the music that he and the rest of the band have created. Definitely recommend the venue, and both bands were awesome. Now I just need for Say Anything to get out on a headlining tour that actually touches the Midwest somewhere.

The show Angels & Airwaves put on was the best I've been to so far...The venue was great, the staff was alright, and the open setting I liked....didn't go on the floor because the stage was higher than me so I went on the second tier. Only problem was I didn't get free stuff (guitar pics).

I was a little surprised about the typical age group of Angels and Airwaves fans (high school or junior high) but there was enough adults and good cool people, very relaxed but energized show. The lights and effects they brought in were amazing! They played allot of everyones favorite songs, I heard just about everything I wanted to hear. Say Anything opened for A&A and they weren't too bad live, they have such a unique sound. Thanks for the show guys!!!

This concert added to how much I like A&A. Great performance, great songs, great time. Where they performed for me was a venue with standing room only. My only complaint was that I brought my digital camera along to take some pictures, but the stage lighting behind the band and slight front lighting of the band basically eliminated all possibilities of good pictures. The video cameras in the arena showing the performance on the screens to the side of the stage weren't getting a good picture of the band either. Other than that, the lighting show was awesome.

Best concert I have ever been to. I have been to plenty of shows in my day and the energy this band brings is matched by none. They connected with the fans and put on a memorable visual experience. I know not everyone loves this band, but they really are good people and have a great message. Great show. They brought the awesome.

The band itself was amazing. I do theatre work and the sound system for that size of a place was just ridiculous. I couldn't hear Tom DeLonge's voice at all. The music coming through the speakers was horrible. I don't know if that was the equipment of Angels and Airwaves or the equipment of the Uptown but it was bad. I got up front and the band sounded better than what was coming through the speakers. I have been to the uptown plenty of times for concerts, I honestly don't understand a reason for a huge sound system. That room was built for performances. It's structurally made to reverberate sound so it can reach the very back seat. Even if the crowd is yelling and screaming that band has no problem being heard in a room that size. I don't believe it was the band that had a problem because I got right on up there and could hear Tom's voice just fine. They are my favorite band of all time and it was the first time ever seeing them live. It was an experience to remember.

Was an awesome show, I loved the small venue (Avalon, Hollywood) and the music just blew me away. I am still having trouble with Tom not really singing (c'mon man, I know you can do it, I heard you do it with Blink just a few months ago) where he kinda talks instead, but it was still good. The set list was probably the best part, absolutely epic.

As always, Tom was a true showman. Angels and Airwaves are musically unbelieveable, but their live show takes it to a whole new level! The light show, quality of sound, stage energy, length of show, opening act (Say Anything) and intimacy were absolutely perfect. I have been to hundreds of concerts, from sold out super-arenas, to small nightclubs. This show is my new standard for what a rock show should be. God bless AVA. Can't wait for the next tour. I honestly appreciate their hard work and what they do, I would definitely subscribe if i had the money for the monthly donation...Anyway, I really liked how Tom DeLonge introduced everyone in the band and what other bands they came from. Also love his poses and his movements while on stage...everyone in the band did and amazing job...Keep up the great work!!!

I have always loved this band, but seeing them live was absolutely unforgettable. Tom DeLonge and the rest of the band are spectacular entertainers. My friend and I were there specifically for Say Anything, and didn't hang around inside the venue for more than the first few minutes of the first AvA song.... We weren't quite into what we did hear from them, the arrangement was a little funky and the music covered up the vocals. We hung around the Say Anything tour buses and got to meet a few of the band members; Jacob, Coby, and finally Max (before he ran off to the store) twice, and got a few pictures with the band members we met and a signature from Coby.

Angels and Airwaves have come a long way since their first album "We Don't Need To Whisper." This has been one of the best tours I have seen. Visuals are spectacular and the music is tighter with no auto-tune on Tom's part. I would definitely recommend this show and Angels and Airwaves to any listener.

The Angels & Airwaves concert was rather brilliant. I payed $30 to get in, and after experiencing the performance, I wouldnt dare even think of asking for a single cent back. Worth every penny, infact, it was so astounding that it feels to me as though retail was getting jipped. The band made the experience feel so personalized that I doubt I'll ever forget this performance. What more is there to say? I was there and im so very glad and appreciative that i was. If you werent, well....it REALLY sucks to be you. End of story.

I've been into Angels & Airwaves since 2007 but I had never seen them in concert. When I heard they were touring I bought my ticket immediately about 4 months in advance. They played so good and they are all great people. I wish I had dished out another $99 to go to the meet and greet. My friends went to it and told me how good of a time they had and they actually take the time to talk to everyone individually and get pictures and autograph whatever you have. The opening act wasn't so good, they were very weird and I'm not really sure why they played with them. They aren't really in the same category as far as music.

I've seen AVA once before in Houston at the Verizon Wireless Theater, and they were a 9.5 out of 10 then...I've gotta say they've somehow, someway, somewhere managed to take their concert skills to the next level. Before the show, my girlfriend and I got in one line, which there were 2 lines. About 45 minutes later, a guy comes out and tells everyone in the line I'm in, that it's for fast access tickets only. So we had to move to the back of the other line, which by now had gotten pretty long. Say Anything was good, except for a comment the singer said about someone in the crowd, which was uncalled for to interrupt the show for. AVA was amazing, it was just frustrating that many people could not see because everyone is in the front floor, and it's impossible for shorter people to get a decent view. The venue was in a kind of crappy part of town. After the show, the security was quick to come by my car and tell us to hurry up and leave; pretty rude. I only came to see AVA at least one time, and if the Fillmore is the only place they play at in the future, I'm not sure I'd want to come back again.

As a huge AVA fan, I loved this show. The songs are great, and so was the energy of both the bands - they both gave a lot of love to the audience. The crowd really wasn't very rough at all - most of the people there were just into the music and appreciating it. There was only one thing that could have been better, though. Tom's vocals are, in my opinion, the best part of Angels & Airwaves, and for both of the bands, the lead singer's microphone was really quiet. The only time you could really hear the singer was when there was no background music. But, oh well! The instruments were great, though. And, it was only a technical difficulty - there was nothing, nothing at all wrong with the bands. Go see Angels & Airwaves!

The Bassist Matt Watcher remixed one of their older songs into something out of this world!! David Kennedy who plays guitar for the band stood tall and awesome playing the most amazing guitar rifts ever!! And Atom Willard, the best drummer there is today, he played with his full heart and played some awesome drum solos throughout the show!!! Say Anything is one of my favorite bands. This was my first time seeing them and they were absolutely incredible. They had a lot of crowd participation and that made things a lot more exciting. The fans in the crowd were singing along to every word of every song. I ended up meeting Parker Case, the pianist, and Jake Turner, the guitarist, of the band and they signed autographs. I am not a huge fan of Angels and Airwaves, although I do like a few of their songs. I have always been a fan of Tom DeLonge whilst part of Blink 182. I thought that the presentation of their performance was very cool. It was very futuristic, which went along with the space rock genre of their album Love. The drums were clear and had blue lights inside of them, which was a very nice attraction to the stage. Another thing you would notice on the stage was the machine in the middle. This controlled the electronics of the music. In between songs, background music played that was futuristic. I liked that Tom talked to the audience a lot about the music. However, I thought Tom sounded very unstable and not very good at all. I really enjoyed the show in it's entirety, but there were a few things that were not perfect to me.

it was AMAZAZING! really it was great. we waited got to the venue at 2:30 and waited around until it started. We got to see Atom, David, Matt, and TOM before the concert going into sound check. we got spots about 3-5 people back from the stage. It wouldve been awesome if they played Rite of Spring but its okay it was still awesome. My friends and i will never forget it and dude! we are trying currently to get more tickets to go again. The Crocodile Rock Cafe was an awesome place to see them cuz of the closeness. We were only feet away from Tom and David Kennedy. The opening band 'Jesse Malin and the St. Marks Social' was actually really good too and we weren't sure if they were gonna be good because they were replacing Say Anything but they were really cool, my boyfriend got their CD when we left.

I don't have a comment for the entire show as I only attended to see Angels and Airwaves got there during the intermission for AVA to play...I love them they make me feel like I'm there by myself just me and them...a total out of body experience!!!

First off, Tom Delonge is my hero. Secondly, I knew of Say Anything, but I didn't really know them that well. This show ROCKED MY WORLD! The tickets were INSANELY cheap, I crowdsurfed the WHOLE time during AVA, and I walked up to the back door and ended up having a conversation with Jake Turner from Say Anything. Bottom Line: AVA was amazing, Say Anything blew them out of the water in my opinion. Not only that, they hung out around back and talked to some of their fans (while Tom left ASAP)

I saw AVA in both San Diego and LA, and the LA show was far better than the SD show. Maybe it was because the sound in the HOB SD sux, or maybe the band was just more awake... Tom alluded in SD to being tired and worn out from touring, and some of the songs that night seemed really slow and lack lusterish.... Not in LA last night. The boys were on fire and the palladium is such a cool room to see a show in. Looking forward to what else 2010 has to offer with AVA. Check these guys out if you're a fan of different styles of music. They put on a great show and it's totally different than other rock shows I've been to. <><

I got the VIP backstage passes to this event and surprised my boyfriend of 8 years, Tom Delonge is his favorite singer, he was surprised!! We got to meet and greet with Tom and the band and watch a few songs for their soundcheck. Then for the regular concert they totally killed it. Overall, the best concert I have been to, EVER! :)

That was by far one of the best concerts i have been to. AVA was absolutely amazing, and when they performed Secret Crowds, i was blown away. That is now my favorite song! Amazing, simply amazing.

Say Anything is much better at a smaller venue. And Angels and Airwaves put on a great performance. If you come expecting punk rock, you'll be disappointed but if you just take the music for what it is, its amazing.

I've seen many many many many many bands in concert, but Tom and the rest of the band made the night unforgettable! Best band I've ever seen live, and Say Anything was actually better than I imagined! So much energy Tom transferred to the crowd, and just like they said at the end of the show, I felt like I was not alone. I felt like we were all there to listen to the music, and I felt like I connected with EVERYONE in the crowd! THANKS SO MUCH!

When the lights went out after the opening band, we were all ready for "A & A" 's moment to appear but nothing happened....no one came on stage....we all just stood there in the dark...waiting......then the house lights came back on and the recorded back ground music....we all didn't know what was up, but after 5-10 min, lights went back out and "A & A" hit the stage. Although "A & A" 's usual sound is kinda mellow, Blink 182 "lite", it was anything but mellow at the concert! It was A & A" with a punk edge to it. The Palladium was an awesome almost intimate place to see bands up close and personal. Beautiful older building, art deco-ish...love to come back here for another show The opening band "say anything" started off a bit sketchy but ended up rocking the place...

The band started off with favorites from their first two albums. That bad part was the sloppiness. The lead guitar missed a few notes, and the drummer missed a few cymbal crashes. This was really surprising me. Was this a high school rock off or was it a professional band trying to make a living? I couldn't tell. I saw these guys play a flawless show in Cleveland's HOB a couple of years ago. It was my Nephews first rock concert ever We were both blown away. Last night I was truly disappointed. The engineering and volumes of the band were beyond bad. There is one song, not sure of the title, where the drummer incorporates a cow bell or wood block at a steady rhythm. Normally a very good song, the wood block was louder then Tom's voice and I could not hear the lyrics. It was almost like Christopher Walken demanded this to cure his fever.(SNL joke) Maybe it was the acoustics of The Joint. Maybe it was the fact that the band is at the end of the tour and is simply tired. Nevertheless, this show sounded like total amateur noise. I'll see the band again because I love the studio albums they put out and I will always remember the wonderful show they put on for me and my nephew in Cleveland. I hope this is not a trend for AvA.

The show was great! Say Anything got the crowd going ....but, maybe a little too much. There was a number of people shoving and crowd surfing which made the pit area a bit uncomfortable especially for bands that do not play such crazy music. Despite that, overall it was fun! Angels & Airwaves was very entertaining and amazing.
