Slipknot

We sat right next to the stage. Slipknot played a lot of stuff from the Iowa album as well as the popular songs that get radio play. Good show!

My 7th time to get to experience mr corey taylor and slipknot....this by far was the best show I've ever witnessed them put on. Thanks for being you Slipknot.

Slipknot as usual was awesome and they played for close to 2 hours!!!!! Alll that remains was good, first time i saw them! but opener DEVILDRIVER was amazing, since the show i now have all their albums! check out their video for all those who wander are not lost on yahoo! coolest video ever made!! i remember Dez from coal chamber but the drummer of devildriver is a force 2 b reckoned with! i will see them again when they hit minnesota!

It was unbelievable having these guys show up in a smaller venue like the Alltel Center in Mankato. Everyone was wild through the entire show!

This was by far the best show that ive seen slipknot put on! You could tell it was a really emotional concert for the band members. If you were there then you know what im talking about. Devil Driver and All That Remains were also really good! At the beginning of All The Remains they were having mic problems but they got it sorted out. Bottom line... if you want to see a band that puts on an awesome show and doesnt just play songs with no energy, then see Slipknot! Slipknot knows how to put on a show!

Both Devildriver and All That Remains were great openers for Slipknot, which was a plus to the show. The pit for Slipknot was amazing from the moment the curtain went up and the first song started. Along with seeing Tool at the same venue, I don't know if I have been in that tightly packed of a pit. The crowd was great during every song, and Slipknot didn't disappoint with the set list.

I took my six year old son to see Slipknot at their Cedar Rapids ,Iowa show. They put on one hell of a show. They had my little rocker dude throwing his devil horns in the air and singing at the top of his lungs. As for me I totally loved their stage presence. They bring it hard and heavy without going over the top. Slipknot is a band you don't want to miss. Check 'em out!!

This was the best live show I have ever seen, I have been to two Ozzfests and not even that could rival this show!

Devil Driver and all that Remains were great openers, but no one compared to Slipknots act! They were amazing!!

I wasn't sure that I even wanted to go to this show, but I promised my daughter that I would take her and I am so glad that I did. Everything about the show was amazing. Slipknot sounded awesome, thier stage show was something else, and the way the interacted with the crowd was great. I have seen alot of shows in my time and this ranks in the top 3 with Iron Maiden and Metallica. Simply amazing show!!!

Do i really have to say anything its slipknot!!!!!!!!!!!!ATR was a huge plus

This was the 10th Slipknot show I have been too since seeing them for the first time in 1999 and every show since has been just as good if not better than the last! Every performance they put everything they have on that stage and leave nothing behind 100 % every show. This show was no different they went into the crowd several times and always respecting and apprieciating there fans as every show Corey let's everyone know if it weren't for the fans they wouldn't be were they are now. Pulse pounding in your face metal that leaves you gasping for air and wanting it to never end!

i loved this concert! music was great of course and everything just went great the whole night, even got to meet new people and what better place then at a concert where you both enjoy the same music obviously!!! AMAZING!!!!!

Slipknot puts on the best modern day live show in today's entertainment industry. Their shows are pricey, but not over the top like some other popular bands. (Tool, Blink 182, Green Day) This particular show had very good opening bands. Their last tour had a band Coheed & Cambria. As Coheed has a lot of fans, they don't really match the music style that Slipknot brings. Their style of music doesn't get the fans in the mood for Slipknot. Where as Devil Driver & All That Remains are fun, energetic metals bands, like Slipknot. Big venue floor gave enough room for mosh pits, and room to stand if you did not want to participate. Which is always a big plus.

This was our first time seeing Slipknot live. Their performance was unforgettable. The crowd was full of energy, and I love the way they connected with the crowd. Do not miss seeing them if you're hesitating to. I can't wait til they're in town again.

Just as amazing as the last time I saw them in 2009. Still pulsing with energy and just as fun to watch. Loved the show! I hope they come back to Tucson one day.

No matter where they play or how big the crowd is, Slipknot plays their hearts out and gives us a fantastic show! They truly know how to engage their fans and rock the hell out of whatever city they are in!! This was a rather small venue with not too many people, which I'm guessing is because they played on a Tuesday night.

I was really there for Manson but Slipknot was great. My only complaint was that I missed part of Mason's show. I know I should've been there earlier but they started way early. Of Mice and Men were coming out at 6:30. I got there at 730 and Manson was already playing. That sucked.

Of Mice and men, Marilyn Manson, Slipknot!!! The show was amazing!!! They went out with a bang! I went to see Marilyn Manson and he blew my mind!!! Seeing these guys live is the best experience ever!! The crowd was freaking awesome!

I had never seen Marilyn Manson and had heard some negative reviews of him being lethargic and out of it on stage. In Austin he was on and rocked! Love the MM show. Slipknot I had seen 2 years ago and truthfully liked the last show better with the flames. This one was the same stage butbtheybused a large monitor behind them to show different scenes as they played and it just seemed lazy over using lights, flames and effects. But they sounded great, they had energy on stage and I enjoyed the show just a little less than 2 years ago.

Mice of Men was rad- they were intense and they really rocked it. Marilyn Manson was alright ( i was really excited to see him but a bit disappointed in the quality of his show. I honestly think he could've done better, but maybe seeing that it was the last show on the tour he probably didn't care much. Oh well. Dont expect grotesque Manson) . Slipknot never disappoints, this show was full of energy as usual. Its become one of my favorite bands to see live just because they really go all out and the experience being in the pit is hardcore. Not to mention that they always acknowledge the fans as being family.

This is my second time to go see SLIPKNOT and their shows are always amazing. I will go back next year for sure hopefully I can get backstage passes! Of mice and Men were pretty good and of course Marilyn Manson was the bomb!!!

Corey Taylor's voice sounded excellent at the venue - the entire band put on an exceptional show! Marilyn Manson seemed to get off to a rough start but it doesn't matter because I loved the show 100%!!! We missed Of Mice and Men

The concert was AWESOME!! Of Mice & Men was GREAT!! Marilyn Manson, the dude is weird, but still GREAT!! Slipknot TORE IT UP!! It was loud and I was proud!!

Great show but the venue made us stand outside in the rain for an hour before Manson played. They didn't let us in the gates (and to our COVERED seats until the rain had passed).

This show was memorable ! The energy was hyped. The set list was the best of Slipknot's repertoire. The sound quality was clear. The band was on point - their performance was amazing! There was a bond between the band and the audience and that those of us in attendance won't soon forget. One of the best concerts I've been to!

A while back Ive seen slipknot at the cypress hill smoke out for the first time. I didn't pay much attention to their music because I was so shocked of their outfits and every guy was doing something different. Finally I get to see them again. This was my first metal concert and I was blown away form their performance! The singer has amazing vocals. The energy this band gave off to the audience was awesome. I wanted to headbang so bad but I don't even know how to start lol. Anyway, It's definitely way different to what I'm use to listening too. I hope I get to see them again!

I've never been to a metal concert before. The show was literally just amazing, I was in aw when I saw Marilyn Manson and Slipknot. I grew up listening to them and wearing their band shirts and begging my parents to let me get just one more shirt. I was in a dark place as a teenager and it was Slipknot that was always there. Then seeing them in person was just surreal and I hope these artist do happen to come upon this review and know they have made that night the best night of my life. I'd see them again!

This was my first time at the Forum and seeing Slipknot. The venue was awesome. Great view. It wasn't such a huge place, but none the less, it was worth every second, every penny.

Of Mice & Men really rocked it, very good live. Marilyn Manson also rocked it, with Sweet Dreams!! Slipknot was awesome to the core!! Dead Memories-Psycho-social-Before I forget-Devil & I- If your 555 I'm 666!!! All the greatest songs!

It was an amazing show! Will never forget it, everyone put on the best show ever! So glad I got to go. It was definitely worth the wait!

This was an altogether awesome show. Although the set of Of Mice & Men was cut short due to heavy rain and lightning, the rest of the show went ahead as planned. Marilyna Manson was in top form and put on a hell of a show. Slipknot was incredible as well. Also, the crowd was absolutely great fun! Very cool to be in the PIT and rock out!

On a nice , warm summer night at the Lakeview Amphitheater, Slipknot heated things up 500 % from the time they hit the stage. Has been a while since I've seen them and there was NO disappointment, the pit was insane. Musically, theatrically dead on and an AWESOME show . Would do it again in a heartbeat and recommend these guys to anyone. Mr. TAYLOR and company did a spectacular show. Corey showed no signs of his neck injury throughout their performance , went beyond being a trooper. Many thanks to them, return to Syracuse more often.

After not having seen Slipknot perform live for 17 years, interestingly enough at the same venue, I couldn't miss them again. I managed to purchase a seat in the 10th row, dead center just a few weeks before the show. I was on my feet the entire time, because the show was amazing. If Corey hadn't mentioned he had a neck injury, you'd never know it. The weather was hot, but the show was incredible.

All three acts were great but Slipknot in particular was incredible. Completely appreciate the energy and effort that was put into that performance, especially by Corey Taylor just coming off spinal surgery. Seriously hope that guy is taking it easy between shows.

Slipknot puts on one incredible show. A perfect blend between entertainment, theatrics, performance, passion, and talent. The visuals were amazing, excellent vocals by Corey Taylor, the instruments sounded great, I can't say enough good things. This is coming from someone that isn't even into this genre of music, but there is something about Slipknot I love. I want to see them again! GO SEE SLIPKNOT! Best concert I've seen in my life and I've been to A LOT!

One of the best concerts I have been to. Slipknot always had so much energy and heart. The concert was amazing. The sound quality at the Lakeview Amphitheater was top notch. Plus I got randomly selected to meet a few of the bands members.

All and all it was a great show. Of mice and men sounded great and slipknot was hands down amazing. Marilyn Manson on the other hand was a waste of time and good talent, not Sure what his deal is but it seemseems with every show on this tour he is progressively worse.

This was my first time seeing Slipknot while in the pit! It is an experience I will never forget. Slipknot being one of my favorite bands around made the experience that much better. I go to a lot of concerts but the energy I get from watching Slipknot is unmatched! I cannot wait for the next time I get to see them.

I must first say that the GA PIT location at the Lakeview Amphitheatre places you IMMEDIATELY off of the stage. If you can see them here, I strongly recommend that you do! The show was fantastic! Slipknot, as usual, gave a great performance! However, the absolute Highlight of my night was being brought on stage to sing "The Beautiful People" with Marilyn Manson!!! It was my first time seeing him live and will NOT be my last. Neither will this be the last time seeing Slipknot. This was an excellent line up!

The whole concert was amazing! Marilyn Manson was really good and sounded good as well! Slipknot was totally awesome though!! Was well worth the money.... Slipknot sounded very good! Would love to go to another one of their shows!! Love it so much and was the best concert I've ever been to!

Slipknot, like every time I see them, was amazing!! It shows that they do what they can to put on a great show! Marilyn Manson was there too. He put on a great show too, but he was drunk or high or both. Not surprising with him.

Best show I've been to hands down. I went in skeptical of Marilyn Manson but was pleasantly surprised with his performance. And Slipknot absolutely rocked the house. Even with a neck brace on Corey was amazing. Of Mice and Men were very good as well. I took my 9 year old daughter (her first concert) and she absolutely loved it too!

The whole show was great all 3 bands But SLIPKNOT rocked the house, they really did they brought the Energy like only SLIPKNOT can. Had a Great time.

Great show! Manson and Slipknot were both entertaining. Security was great (would give us water between shows). Giant Center is a fun venue and easy to get around. Not a complaint! Would see them again in a heartbeat!

Went to see Slipknot and ended up enjoying Marilyn Manson's set better. All 3 bands were great though.

My husband and I are Marilyn Manson fans. We do not care for the screaming style of singing like Of Mice and Men and Slipknot. Manson was at his very best, this was one of his better performances. We left before Slipknot came onstage.

This was a slipknot event with Marilyn Manson. Of mice and men were the first up and they were good. Manson was just down right horrible, like a trainwreck that you can't look away from. Never seeing him preform before I thought that maybe that's just how he plays. Like a performance art type of thing but I found out that wasn't it, he was just bad. Slipknot though brought redemption to the show. The show was one of the best I have seen, I've already made up my mind to see slipknot again.

Manson has always been my favorite artist but this was above and beyond what I expected. He puts on one crazy amazing show! Unfortunately the main band Slipknot was hard to hear because of the sound quality in the Giant Center. They would have been much better in an open area where the sound had some where to escape to. They still put on an awesome show. This was by far the best concert I have been to without a doubt!

I am so glad that I went to this show. The VIP lounge package was what I purchased since they didn't have a meet and greet option. But.....I must say, I definitely got my money's worth! The food was ahhhh so so, but, having Corey Taylor come out with Sid and do a meet and greet with the fans even though it wasn't an option, was totally kick a$$ and shows a great deal of appreciation to their fans. I will definitely see them again soon.

It was readily apparent Saturday night that a broken neck issue was not slowing singer Corey Taylor down at all. Following a recent operation including on his spine, he and his fellow bandmates deliverered a high octane performance with a good mix of songs. In keeping with their term for diehard Slipknot fans, the everchanging backdrop contained images such as maggots and at other times, beautiful laser type optical illusions!

Slipknot was good. I know corey taylor had an injured neck so I'll be fair. Got to the show kind if late also.

Manson belted out crowd favorites with a more overt theme of "money is the root of evil." Beginning his set with "Angel With the Scabbed Wings," he dominated the small stage like a modern day Jay Gatsby, fanning Antichrist 666 cash and casting bound bills into the crowd of his minions. The fast screaming and screeching have been slowing down gradually over the decades, but Manson still "rises to every occasion" and delivers a great show. The PIT needed the dead space occupied by SlipKnot's equipment to be sectioned off so that the crowd would know Marilyn Manson would have a limited amount of space to perform. This caused visual issues, needless to say. Many fans were left watching the concert obscured and in profile. Not good. All staff and vendors were friendly, which is uncommon. Parking was an issue bc attendants would send us from one lot to another for our VIP parking and our Meet and Greet. Better prior communication between organizers and parking attendants would have lessened this frustration.

Even tho they were having technical difficulties (lighting), SLIPKNOT put on another great show..

I would go see all 4 of these bands any day of the week!! Fantastic, energetic and awesome sounding concert! Well worth the ticket price too! Motionless in White, Bullet for My Valentine, Lamb of God and Slipknot!!! Fantastic!!!!

Corey taylor and crew was incredible corey did things that no other singer would dare do like walking around the floor around the moshpit and climbing up on the stands to sing with people, it was freaking awesome, he didn't favor one side he came to all of us and sang, the whole presentation was amazing and when you go see slipknot they not only play there new songs but songs from ALL their albums including the first ones, corey is a hell of a performer and they sounded amazing, i would absolutely see these guys again and i have to i wouldn't be able to forgive my self if i didn't see them again even if your not into their music (shame on you) they are worth the act of going for there visual effect

Slipknot was AMAZING as always! They put on one heck of a show. It sounded great. Each member was entertaining to watch. Very talented band! I feel like they give more enthusiasm when they're in the mid-west. They also played a good variety of new and old songs!

As usual, Slipknot kissed butt as well as Lamb of God. Motionless In White was pretty good as well. It would have been better if Bullet For My Valentine would not have been on the tour. Didn't really care for their performance. Would have been happy with someone harder and heavier on the tour instead. It was my daughter's first Slipknot concert. She had a blast. Well worth it.

Slipknot put on a performance I won't soon forget. Corey constantly referred to us as his family and made me feel so welcomed and loved. It was my first Slipknot show and honestly I had gone just to see Motionless in White and Bullet for my Valentine but Slipknot was amazing. Their songs their presence their set was huge. All of it was as big as Texas. Me and my friend James went together and. It brought us closer and solidified our place in the Slipknot family.

Don't know how many people fit in the Gexa Energy Pavilion but it was packed for Slipknot all the way to the lawen perimeter walls. The crowd was loud and energetic. Slipknot for its part did its best to match the crowd intensity but the band had a good performance not great or incredible. It was a great nite for heavy metal rock. Corey's voice sounded tired or the vocal speakers were close to wore out. At least once he coughed and gagged in the microphone then there was a five minute break as one of the band members had to be excused due to the heat. Darn near close to a sell out crowd on the last show of the tour.

my first time to see and hear a full concert from this band. great concert, great stage presence and lights. enjoyed the awesome use of three drummers!

Hands down best concert ever. We were in the pit and it was an unforgettable experience.

I got the tickets as a birthday present for my boyfriend. I am not a metal head like he is but slipknot is his favorite band. (At the time I didn't know he hadn't been to a concert.) We got there in time to see Bullet For My Valentine, they were great!!! Lamb Of God was also great!!! Once Slipknot came on stage the whole crowd changed. Something had changed, an electricity had come across the crowd. Once Slipknot hit the stage everything erupted. The love the fans have for them is returned ten fold. I may not have been a fan when I got there but I left one. It was an amazing show!!!! Worth every penny.

First and for most this was at the end of August and it had to be like around 115 degree and this event was held outside. I sweated my ass off and was so tired by the days end. But it was so worth every penny in the end. Slipknot have been rocking for like 20 some years and even at their age with a few members come and gone they still can work a crowd like no other metal artist. I loved their set, I loved their performance, I loved how close I was in the pit when I saw them, I loved the songs the choose to sing, etc. Lamb of God doesn't even have to try anymore and they can just get the pit going. Lamb of God performed for a solid hour and just wouldn't let up. The fact that I got to see both Slipknot and Lamb of God in the same show was icing on the cake. Bullet for my Valentine were good, not my favorite band but they have certainly gotten better performing live. I saw them back in 2009 and they were so off, glad to see them getting better. Motionless in White was a band that I never heard of at all but damn did I like them. I wish they could have gone on longer but they were the opening act so what do you expect. This was my 4th time seeing Slipknot. 1st was 2008 with Disturbed, 2nd was with Coheed and Cambrea, 3rd was with Slayer, and now this one and I have to say this was the best show they have ever done. I missed my chance to ever see them in their absolutely bat shit crazy late 90's early 2000 days (I was too young and my parents wouldn't let me see them so young) but it's nice to know that they can still bring it just as well as I saw them in older videos. They're still heavy but just older, mature, and evolving just like music always does. If you love Slipknot and have yet to see them live then I highly, highly, HIGHLY recommend seeing them before they are too old to do this anymore. You will not disappointed. **About my seats** My only warning is this. When you are in the pit you have to stand for a long period of time. Once you move out of your spot you can just forgot it that spot is gone. You literally have to stand their from the opening act and if you have to go to the bathroom or need a drink then you just have to hold it and hope you drank enough water. Especially in the summer time, you will pass out if you are not fully hydrated. All them warm bodies and the heat will make it feel hotter than it actually is. If you don't like mosh pits then don't get these, you get people crowd surfing on top of you and people pushing from all angles so get used to being REALLY close to people. If you are lucky enough to get to the front like I did then the view is spectacular, you just have to get used to all those other things that I mentioned.

The concert overall was awesome. Loved the VIP package and the early access to the event. Was able to watch the show from front centre. Well worth the money. Meet and greet was good but took a little too long. Flow wasn't very good making me feel uneasy about getting into the show before the general public. Drinks were expensive.

I found that slipknot did put on an amazing unforgettable show. The stage was pretty cool and the sound was amazing! I'll try them again next time. Hopefully it's better

Slipknot and Korn both hit the stage with s head of steam. Slipknot's set was brutal and had everyone screaming along. Korn played hits with passion and ferocity.

My husband and I took our 15 and 17 yr old sons to their VERY FIRST concert here and we had a BLAST! King 810, Korn, and Slipknot put on an OUTSTANDING show!

This was the first concert that my son had ever been to. King810, Korn, & Slipknot was outstanding! Possibly the best concert I have ever attended. Food and drinks were a little expensive but that was to be expected. We had excellent seats looking straight at the stage. All the bands sounded great. Wish they all would have played longer!

The temperature outside reached -16 , but it did not stop the filled to capacity crowd at this leg of the Hell tour of Slipknot and Korn. First came KORN who got the crowd jumping, they did the whole side of the first Korn album, since it was its anniversay. They were excellent , I have seen them before but this was one of the best. The songs and reunion with Brian Welch made the difference. Slipknot were thier brutal selves, a cool new stage set up and fire stage effects ,it was a show for the ears and eyes. So many members it is always a task of seeing all the action, and there is always something happening. Loved the new songs mixed with the singles, Cory and crew know how to bring a entertaining stage and music show. I recommend any metal fan or music fan to see this spectacular. Brutal indeed, Ant

Third time seeing this AMAZING band in 5 years. through the loss of Paul and JJ Slipknot has risen like the Phoenix it is and yet again positioned itself at the TOP of the 2014/15 tour season!! set and songs as good as ever and the energy on stage is unparalleled! Corey killed it on every song and the love that they showed to the Denver crowd almost brought me to tears!!

I had a blast! One of the best concerts I've been to!

Korn. The ones that really started the crossover heavy/alt culture setting the tone. Gods among us. Opening with TWIST. Favorite moments... Got the life, freak on a leash, falling away from me, and the finale Blind. SLIPKNOT. Back from the dead. Delivering a set of only the most fist pumping, gigantic pieces in their arsenal. No detours into the more brooding or sinister works... Unless you count vermillion. The only way this set could've been better, if it didn't leave out two that were played in earlier shows alt set segments Frail limb nursery/purity & Left Behind. It's extremely hard to complain whilst hearing eyeless, vermillion, and wait & bleed in their place though! kicked off with xix playing intro to Sarcastrophe. Straight into heretic anthem and my plague! Then Corey speaks and sets up Devil In I. My favorite was Eyeless followed by Vermillion. The end of the show was marked by Spit it Out, Wait & Bleed, Custer, encore break, 742627000027/(sic), people=sht, and an immense finale of Surfacing. Mind Blown. What else is there to say? If you didn't enjoy this concert to the absolute core of your being, you must be miserable and afraid to be vulnerable and become the show. What are you doing at a heavy metal concert?

Slipknot put on a great show. Setlist was about the same as the shows before but they definitly played most of the fan favorites. I think the crowd was either worn out or not too into it by the end cause my friends and I were jumping around so much more than everyone else on the floor level.

The show rocked so hard I lost my voice. King 810 killed it for their first tour. Korn put on a show worth talking about, and Slipknot surprised all their fans with killer encore tracks.

I should get the mommy of year award!! It was my 9 year olds' first concert and she asking to see another one already, and plus I bought these tickets for my sons 16th birthday!! Glad we all had a blast thanks to Slipknot!!!
