Phantogram did an amazing show and interacted perfectly with the audience. however miike snow was okay. he didn't interact with the audience and the one time he did he got the name of the city he was performing in wrong. i would pay to see phantogram again for sure!

Penguin Prison as the opening act started the night out with a bang. Incredible beats and talent, I couldn't stop dancing. Miike Snow entered in a sea of lights and smoke and the crowd went from mediocre to absolute insane within moments. All my favorites were played: Sans Soleil, Black & Blue, Animal - and I also discovered how much I love Penguin Prison's repertoire. It was an overall incredible night only to be outdone had the sets been longer. Awesome venue (Metropolis) and non-stop dancing. I had an absolute blast.

The Masquerade is a dark and intimate venue. Miike Snow was great there! The only thing that I did not like was that Andrew Wyatt (the lead singer) seemed to keep disappearing off stage. He was still singing but I have no idea where he went to!

Miike Snow put on one of the most engaging shows I've ever been to. They performed as if we were a crowd of thousands instead of just the few hundred that can fit into Heaven at Masq. If they're coming to your city, or anywhere near it, go see them.

I and my brother had to wait for 2 hours before the highlight band played. Then, we had to wait for another hour before Miike Snow played. In the beginning, Miike Snow couldn't performed to their best because the audio system was bad, the vocalist microphone was not loud enough, the place was too cramp so the sound bounced back, distorted. The several last songs were amazing and the lighting was awesome. I am a big fan of Miike Snow and I gave respect their effort in the poor venue. It would be a lot better if they played somewhere else that can accommodate their rich music.

The band: I had a feeling that Miike Snow might be more of a studio band, but I was proven completely wrong about this! Their stage show was fantastic! Lots of movement, lighting changes and fog kept the crowd mesmerized. They also sound very good live as well. The vocals sounded perfect and were very close to how they sound on the album. The venue: Showbox SODO is nice, large venue with ample room for the beer garden that doesn't interfere with the rest of the space. Lines were long, but they moved quickly so I have no complaints. The sound was a bit rough though and I'd imagine that most of this has to be blamed on the venue. At times there was significant crackling sounds coming from the right channel and at others it felt like the woofers were having trouble keeping up with some of the deeper tones. I expected a little bit better acoustics for a newer venue. The crowd: The crowd was unlike any I've seen for a concert like this. I'd estimate that 50-60% of the crowd was female and the average age was probably around 25. People were dressed pretty nice too -- as if they were going out for dinner. This was definitely not the dark clothes, black mascara, dyed hair alternative crowd that you usually see at modern music concerts. The audience did, however, become very involved in the show, jumping, dancing, clapping and cheering at all of the right times. Conclusion: Between the awesome performance of Miike Snow, the perfectly arranged set list (for order and time) and the crowd, this is one of, if not the best concert I've ever been to. My friend and I were still talking about how pumped up we were by the whole experience the next day. I would go see Miike Snow anywhere and I hope they continue to put on five star performances like this one. I can't wait for the new album.

For a band that only has 1 release Miike Snow killed it! Probably the best light show I've seen for a smaller band ever! Sat in the balcony and was able to see the whole show perfectly unobstructed in all it's glory! I had no idea what I was going to get when I came to this show. I was more familiar with Phantogram but had never seen either group perform live. I was impressed with how good the vocals were for both groups since it was near the end of the tour. I danced my way through both performances and loved the energy of the crowd as the sun went down and Miike Snow performed "Silvia". It gave me a new appreciation for that song. The only drawback I can think of is that sometimes Andrew wyatt seemed a little loopy; like lightweight drunk loopy. Some of the things that he was doing definitely made me feel like he was pretry "sauced". But overall it was a great concert and I would definitely go see them again!

I was into Phantogram but have become a big fan after seeing their concert! Sarah's voice is amazing live and there is so much chemistry between her and the audience. She also brought a doggy on stage and it was a big hit. The effects/graphics was also perfect - I especially loved the animals in Cruel World, Jellyfish in Mouth of Diamonds, and the animations for You Don't Get Me High Anymore. I also liked Miike Snow but his presence on stage could not compare to Phantogram. His effects were too small and his songs were sort of monotoneous after a while... I am sorry to say but his concert was not all that worth it.

I was lucky I saw Miike Snow at House of Blues on Sept. 27 and also at Radio City. The show in Boston was flawless and absolutely breathtaking, everyone in the band was up to Miike Snow high standards (especially drumming and vocals were superb, in my view). I danced my head off. They were also magnificent at Radio City. The sound was very good. Guitars were rocking. Andrew Wyatt's falsetto was fantastic as always. The setlist was great and included gems from all three albums. They really killed Animal, it was so good and energetic. Stage design was very Miike Snow, original and very postmodern light installation, very bright colors occasionally with stars like effects and with a smoke. The audience (both venues were packed) was excited and very happy. Such an incredible experience and impeccable show! Bravo, Miike Snow! And thank you so much!

I've been going to concerts for many years and I've never before been to a concert where you can't even see the performance because the band, including the lead singer, are in the dark without any spotlights. Honestly: about 85% of the concert we could not see a thing, the stage was near total darkness. I love their music and they sounded great, but hey, we came to see a concert, not just listen to music. Plus the video screens hanging from the ceiling were turned off! C'mon Miike! We want to actually see you guys!

Amazing show as always. The show not only matched the prestige of the venue but superseded it even. The lighting engineering was something I've never seen before, it was entertaining, beautiful and sophisticated. The sound was just tremendous, sitting smack middle of the Orchestra helped I am sure, but I wasn't going to have it any other way. Miike Snow is the best band out there currently, hands down! I only wish people just sat down. The seats are there to sit on! You pay a premium for a premium venue. Act like you deserve to be there. For all of our enjoyment!

It was great to hear this guy after listening to his material for years. His performance didn't rely heavily on vocal augmentation like the recordings. Those effects were present but didn't steal the show. It was front mans Andrew Wyatt's unique stage presence that kept me wondering what flavor of performance he would provide next. Each song had a different feel from the last and each had a different sound that made it stand out compared to the studio recording. The lighting and LCD screen effects almost stole the show! It was also great to see each of the band members take turns playing all of the instruments. From guitar, drums, synths, to keyboard, they could do it all.

I will be as unbiased as possible. I would ACTUALLY give this show 4 stars and a half, but that isn't allowed. And this is coming from a die hard Miike Snow fan who dreamt of seeing them at the El Rey and couldn't! There were a few flaws! One of the things that intrigued me most about this show, was the opener. I was in the center pit and I saw the performance 3 feet away the maximum and I gotta disagree with the reviews here -- the sound was great! I think it was a little overbearing where my ears would start to tingle and vibrate -- but it wasn't consistent throughout the whole night as people were claiming. Andrew really knows how to put on a show even though I personally don't think he has a lot of stage presence. The whole band does a lot and they handled the situation pretty well during "Sans Solei" (Andrew was pissed and i know sound production got it after the show finished) Overall, great experience. The setlist was great! After seeing them live, I have a whole new perspective of when I listen to their music. Love them and i would highly recommend.

The Palladium couldn't even get the name of the band right on the marquee that faced Sunset Boulevard (MIIKE SNOW). LOL. After a long, long moody fog-soaked intro, out comes MIIKE SNOW, all of them in black velvet track suits. With a video screen shaped like the Emperor's window in The Empire Strikes Back where Luke fell, and so much fog it would have grounded planes, and a bit of an edge to the lead singer's voice, they roared through a great selection of tracks from their releases. Putting Sylvia up in the first half of the show was ballsy. The encore of Animal was expected. The song before that - during the outdo - the sound went out - and they played their hearts out not knowing we only heard feedback. Then I realized there had been something wrong with the sound ALL NIGHT. UGH. LOVE MIIKE SNOW though. This was their last stop on their long tour (they started in LA too). Glad to see they are getting more popular. They're very talented and deserve a wider audience even if it's tough to categorize them.

Miike Snow is incredible and I can't wait to see them again. They don't have a bad song in the repertoire and played them flawlessly. I didn't enjoy the opener, I'm always ready for new music and the band seemed to have a lot of potential but two things made it unbearably uncomfortable. The bass and reverb was painful and made me and my friends nauseous. And the female singers voice was over mic'ed and screachingly loud and hurt when she hit high notes and the speakers shrieked.

I was looking forward to this show as his albums are great to listen to and incredibly catchy. The sound was awful from the start. Everything was turned up full blast, we could barely hear what he was saying or some of the instruments that have key melody lines. I thoguht it might have been because we were upstairs at first, but it was even worse when we stood in the pit facing him. I have never walked out of a concert before - tried to stay but left after about 5 songs.

This show was moved from the Orpheum Theatre to the Paradise Rock Club, which was standing admission only. Having had really good seats, I was very upset about this change. However, the venue was amazing! it is quite small and intimate, and the stage is no more than 15 feet away from you at any given moment. As for Miike Snow, they always give an amazing performance. Despite Andrew Wyatt being ill, the songs and the atmosphere made it a concert I will never forget. Thanks Miike Snow! Come back to Boston soon!

As someone who does not often go to concerts, this was really a great experience. The band really performed the songs and overall experience between the sound, visuals and performances. I also really enjoyed the opening act, Nikki and the Dove; the two bands were a great combination together with N &D being more of an 80's club inspired and MS being more alternative and current. Want to see them both again. Only issue was that the venues and starting times changed so it was a longer wait than desired, but the experience was still great.

Miike Snow always puts on a great show, and the palace was no exception. Really amazing venue, however was pretty dissappointed there was a lack of encore. They left the stage with the lights of and granted the crowd wasn't as large as others I'd been too, the majority of people who came to the show were likely not from spanish harlem, so it would have been cool to see them perform another song or two since we made the trek.

I love Miike Snow. We recently saw them at United Palace Theatre-- the sound quality was terrible. I don't know if they had a new sound guy or what, but my chest was vibrating the entire time b/c the bass was too low. You could not even hear any of the lyrics of the songs b/c the mics were too loud. We left after 20 mins. Very disappointing considering we spent $100 for 2 tix.

The sound quality was terrible. Couldn't tell if it was because we were sitting on the lower lodge (first row), the cavernous ceilings, or just bad audio mixing. I'm tempted to believe it was the later. The sound was just muddled, too much bass not balanced at all. Practically ruined what would have otherwise been an amazing show.

Miike Snow did not fail! They kept the crowd alive and really enhanced the their 2nd album in their performance. The only negative aspect is the show was too short. An hour set--really? They have two great albums out, the songs could have lasted longer. They definitely touched up on the songs from their first album and really extended the beats from their second album. Great show overall, but wished it could have lasted longer.

Miike Snow had zero stage presence - just walked back and forth. The set list jumbled a great dance song from the first disk right into a slower song - so the crowd lost all momentum. The sound quality wasn't what I expected. Bottom line - I should have stayed home and listened to the albums.

I like Miike Snow's albums a lot but I was disappointed to see that even though they had 5 people on stage, there were many times when music was playing but nobody was touching instruments. I am fine with bands adding a little extra but when the main parts of the song are controlled by triggers and recordings, it takes it too far. The concert was so loud that at times it was basically just noise. This is a sharp contrast to the intricacies and nuances that can be heard on the album. The vocals did sound very good but WHY WAS THE LEAD SINGER'S PIANO IN THE BACK CORNER OF THE STAGE?!?!

Love the album, not a great live band. Very minimal interaction with the crowd, and light show seemed designed to obscure the band members. They had so many opportunities to get the crowd involved, which was raucous and partying and would have loved it. They only played 13 songs or so, and left out a couple of relatively big songs (e.g. horse is not a home)

The duo Miike Snow put on a great show. They cleaverly interweaved new and old songs to give the audience a taste of their new album while playing the crowd pleasing hits, Animal and Song for No One. They kept the audience engaged throughout the show and they sounded terrific. I would definitely repeat this concert hopefully getting a better view of the stage next time around on the floor. Don't miss them the next time they are back in town.

This is my second time seeing them. First time being back in 2009 when their first album was released. They are AMAZING live. Put on an awesome show. They came out in masks and hoodies. My girlfriend and I were at the front and center of GA section. They played all their best songs from both their albums. They ended the show with Animal and everyone went bananas. My view was incredible and the energy almost tangible!

If you are a fan of their music, I guarantee you'll have a great time. If you're not a fan, there's still a great chance you'll enjoy yourself.

Great performance. Terrible seats! There was a railing right in front of our seats that completely blocked the stage. May have been one of the worst concerts I've been to for that reason alone. And this is coming from someone who saw Ashlee Simpson at the Dixon State Fair......

They put on an amazing show, but it was pretty disappointing that they only played for about an hour and 20 minutes.

It was ok. The light show was annoying. Thought I was gonna have a seizure. And it was the shortest show on record. 1.5 hours. Maybe less. And the bar is very expensive. $7 for a beer that wasnt even a pint.

did they just phone in the performance? and what's with all the bros in the audience. It was like a frat house party. Ugh.

I loved their first album and the singles they released. I wondered how their live performance could possibly be better than their studio recorded work. Would their performance on stage be able to be recreated on the spot? Miike Snow did not disappoint. The best musicians and artists always sound better live - and they proved to me that they are not simply producers but artists.

This concert was basically a free-for-all, raging dance party with lasers, techno beats, raunchy dancing, nudity, champagne, and oh yeah miike snow was there. This was the longest concert known to man, but the only negative part about it was that Miike Snow didn't go on until 11:30 PM after over an hour from the time Major Lazer ended. I like Miike Snow but I have no idea what took them so long to get their equipment together. I don't think they had finished by the time I left at 12:30 AM, but I was exhausted from all the craziness. Also, I'm not sure if Santigold ever came back on, but she came out during Major Lazer's set for an unbelieveably brief 2 minutes. She said she'd see us later, but we didn't. Absolute craziness and incredibly fun - just way too long.

Major lazer, with their awesome light show and funky beats, was awesome. Miike snow was surprisingly good, save the odd masks he and band mates came out in. I would recommend both for a good time, especially at Terminal 5, a great venue.

I bought this ticket because, while I like Miike Snow, I wanted to see Santigold. She was on for 30 seconds...ridiculous.
