The persons responsible for the speaker sounds don't know what they was doing you can not even heard the singer or anything El Canario tried to corrected the sound but fail the person in charge in sound need to get fire very bad sound background.

The music was great, the musicians were fantastic, the event was tremendous, went with my whole family and we all enjoyed everything, unfortunatley we were in section 213 which was facing the side almost the back of the musicians, the sound there was not very good so whenever someone spoke you could not understand very well, more attention should be given to those areas and not just the front of stage, but the music was great, this was our first time in Madison Square Garden.

I forgot how bad the sound is at MSG, sometimes is so loud that you can to even heard the music and most of the time the music is to loud that you can not even heard the voices of the singers. Only the good sound was when the sound people was replaced by the singer's people. Was a Salsa Vive and people did dance more at the break when the DJ played Regueton.

we sat on the side and the speakers were facing to the front, so we could not hear anything, the sound was terrible, we could not understand what the performers were singing, TERRIBLE TERRIBLE SEATS. I can't say if the sound was better in other locations but where we were we couldn't make a single word of what was being said. I was there the week before for the Mana concert and sat in the next section over and the sound was amazing.

The sound company that was used wasn't very good. Mics weren't on when they were supposed to and volume at times wasn't loud enough. Ruben Blades part could have been shortened. The other performers including the dance group were great!

There is nothing to say about the lineup, Salsa all stars and up and coming acts. The sound however was very poor. Halfway through the event the entire right side of the stage started chanting that the sound had gone out. A few minutes later they somewhat fixed it but it wasn't the same. As far as the acts go, El Gran Combo's set was very short, I expected more.

This was the worst experience I have ever had at a concert at MSG. I love salsa music and the artists that performed but I had an obstructed view of the stage and had to look up at a screen all night and sound system was terrible with music overwhelming the singers and mikes not working. I actually left early for the first time ever and missed the closing act. Will never ever see another concert at MSG they should stick to sports.

The singers were amazing, all the acts were better than the last. 'My favorite was Gilberto Santa Rosa. He sang at least 5 songs and still sounds amazing. Especially loved el gran combo they killed it!!! We sat in section 222 and The seats were awful, the speakers blocked the view of the stage and artists. Plus the speakers were facing the audience in front of the stage so we had trouble hearing the artists especially when they spoke.

It was not the worst... but nothing as I expected! Terrible sound, you couldn't even hear anything they said on the microphone!!! Bad lighting. I felt more like if I was watching a movie or a stand up comedy show than the concert. I've been to the lot of concert at the MSG and from Felix Cabrera, and I can tell you... it could've been a Lot better than that. I didn't even finish the concert, I left (and is something I never do). People got bored pretty easily. Wish I could ask for at least half of my money back. I only recommend this to a friend bc I went to another "La Salsa Vive" and it was awesome, so I'm giving them the benefit of he doubt... that night was not their night!!!

After spending 300 to treat my family to this concert I couldn't have been more disappointed. From the moment we sat down we couldn't hear the show. We went to guest services and complained 3 times. The bottom line, the production company was cheap and didn't spend the money on the proper sound system. the performers knew it, the Djs knew it, and it was a disgrace to the art and talent of the performers. Transitions between artists took too long. Some sang 1-2 song others like Ruben Blades sang for an hour. Which meant that el gran combo sang only 3. Msg staff did move us to a closer section where the sound did improve but only slightly

The show was great, but they had too many guest singers And it took away time from the other artists. Ruben blades should have done more than 6 songs, come one its his farewell! Andy montanez did like 3 or 4 songs also. And they were the headliners.

The first artist was 1hour and 10minutes late, that made the sets shorter and the artist had to rush. The sound for Ruben Blades was too loud and sounded horrible!!! El Grand Combo came on last and were rushed to the max!!! Everyone was leaving at that point, it was 10:30pm on a Sunday night. Such a disappointment!!! We spent over $400 to go to this concert, and it will be the last!!!

The venue was awesome, the performances were outstanding...all I expected and more! Sadly, it started an hour later. The changes between bands were long and tedious, the radio DJ's didn't know what else to talk about at some point! All the delay caused the event to go over. The last band, El Gran Combo, always ends with a favorite song, which they couldn't sing, since the lights were turned on! This was abrupt and sadly, left a bad impression of the whole event.

The concert was great! Miscommunication with the Amway. Tickets said 6:00 pm internet said 8:00pm. When I called Amway to clarify the personel told me starts at 6:pm. Running like crazy to get there on time. Show started at 8pm. Other then that great show, good facilities, good staff. Liquor is TOO EXPENSIVE not worth it.

Seeing the legends of salsa again after so long was worth it all. The biggest issue I had as well as most of the people in attendance sitting in section(s) 200 and above, was the sound system. What the hell was that. I've been to block parties where the sound was 10x better. I purchased the tickets not caring were we sat, all we wanted was to hear our music. Big let down. If not for my love of those great artist and their music, I would have left early. I must be out of sorts with today's live music scene,since when do we have commercials playing as you wait for the next set. I totally hated the Mega DJ clowns, I guess that's why i don't listen to them, they didn't belong there, different era. Gilberto Santa Rosa killed it. Still a great sonero. Great to see Ruben Blades after all these years. Made the night. .

Great collection of Latin performers. They all performed exquisitley and pumped up the crowd. The Amway Center in Orlando in which I have worked many concerts, sporting events and other events is a great venue for such activities.

The overall event was good. The two things I will criticize are the fact that it started 1 hour later than they had said (7 p.m. instead of 6 p.m.) and the intervals between every band to set up the stage took way too long and made it boring during those periods. The stage setting should've been done differently. The singers did a good performance and the sound was very good.

The music was really good, but the concert was not organized at all...it started 1:15 minutes late and the wait between bands was annoying. While waiting some radio and TV announcers talked in the stage forever....making up stuff to make up time...hideous! It is a shame that such great artists time were not well managed.

The salsa bands where very good! They had great sound and musicians! The down side of this concert. It was supposed to at 6pm and setup for stage was not completed until 7:30pm. Then after every band, there was 15-30 min wait for switch and set up for each band. So, the total set up and waiting time between each salsa band was 2 hr and 30 min. I feel that the director of this event could have made transition smoother and faster by salsa bands sharing instruments. When the musicians switched, they should have gotten a comedian to entertain while bands where transitioning. The Salsa Bands where very entertaining but the waiting made the concert six hours long.

I give this an average even though the artists and performers where amazing because of the production team and the set up. It took an hour and 20 for the initial set up which made the show start late, from there in between every act we had to wait 45 to an hour for brake down and more set up. That made the show run late and when The Gran Combo was at its peak and the crowd was finally enjoying it has to stop abruptely and with out a warning just an adios, good night! I have been in concerts with multiple performers before at the Anway center and this is the first time i see this much desorganization and lack of preparation. The production company owes the public a huge apology and did the talented artist a great misjustice. I have bought tickets before where i get a obstructed view warning and it did not happened this time and i had a minor obstruction but a warning would have been nice to buy the tickets

We went to celebrate my husbands BDay and enjoy it a lot BUT the transition among artist went as long as 45 minutes and started 1 hour and 15 min late. Absolutely Unnecessary. It was too long. The music was amazing..

La India still has her great voice, but she just cannot project herself out. It is like if she is not there, too absorbed in her own problems. The guy with the dark glasses and the white pants was a disaster. Was he high? Willie Colon admitted to being washout after a trip from Los Angeles. I could care less where you came from. If you are too old to travel, then get to NYC three days in advance.

Excellent concert! Great artists!! Danced a lot. However wish that the event would start on time so there wd have been enough time for the last act. The ever amazing Oscar De Leon. We heard and felt the dissaointment of many attendees around us. Oscar De Leon should only go last if there was a warranty that he wd get to sing his iconic songs. Not to have "El Manicero" was crazy!

The salsa show was great only a few things would have made it even better, for instance Oscar D'leon should have being given more time to complete his set and sing a lot more songs. Also the late arrival of Raulin Rosendo did not make matters better in order to make the show one of greatest ever presented in Madison Square Garden. The deserve an amazing rating.

What a good show ! I got there and found free parking 2 blocks away 1/2 hour before the start of the show (Very lucky). There were about six different well known singers including "El Grand Combo de Puerto Rico" and they all sounded great. The volume of the speakers was at a good level so you could actualy speak to the person next to you without screaming.

Each artist and their performances was superb. I've been waiting to see Ruben Blades and it was absolutely majestic. El Gran Combo, Oscar D'Leon, Richie Ray & Bobby Cruz were Magnetic & Memorable - Extraordinary performances. El Canario and Tito Rojas were unbelievable.

The quality of the Arena concert Audio was horrible the presentation of course was very poor no way that I ever spend a dime for this again I love the salsa but, I rather listening that In my own house I have better speakers tham the Madidon Square Garden I also would like to mentioned that all those radio speakers the one for El Vacilom or El juqueo whatever they all where too nasty talking and out of professionalism too nasty and not clue at all of the Salsa meaning in respectful with the singers I really ever going again to this

I hadn't been to Madison square garden in a while. It was a pleasure being there security was great and organization too. People were visible for help if required and it was so clean. Had an amazing time seeing the artists.

Amazing show!!! I danced and sang all night long. I saw acts I haven't seen is decades. I can't stop saying how much fun I had and how much I enjoyed it. Best show this year so far.

Great music however three artists promised were a no show. I was really looking forward to listening to David Kada and he wasn't there. Had I known they were going to pull out a no show appearance I would have not paid $400 for my tixs. Thanks!

In general, it was entertaining, but not what I expected. My expectation, and perhaps because I lived those moments, was to expect more of their fabulous songs they played in the past. There were times that you really couldn't understand what they were saying (audio). Some of the performers (and granted that they are now much older) did not appear thrilled enough to be there. It lacked some excitement. I was not too impress with Ruben Blades performance. It was making me sleepy. From a point of climax to in one performance, to a drop on another was not a turn on.

Concert was amazing! The best salsa concert ever! Willie Colon the closer not that great! I give 5 stars to the concert itself! MSG terrible service when concert ended! I have a condition on my leg, have a brace and a cane, so many people with physical walking condition had a very difficult time leaving the concert the electric escalators were turned off and I had to go down the stairs 8 floors! The elevators will not go higher than 5 floor! We asked the staff and security guards and all looked annoyed and the way they acted was they didn't care and they just wanted to go home! I will NOT go to another concert there ever if I can see the performers somewhere else!
