I've been going to the Bayou Classic since it began in 1976 and each year is a satisfying experience that is different every year. I'm so happy that Ticketmaster has taken on this event. The reduction of duplication is a relief. I had a great time, as usual.

It was something different. I am comparing this classic to famu and bcc. Personally I enjoy the famu better. N.O. was different from the norm. We were able to sight see and talk to some of the locals. They didnt let us in the stadium untill an 1hr before the game start.

Very boring and will not be attending again. The classic is not what it use to be. The bands are not allowed to play, the gates do not open up until an hour before the game. If this was a LSU or Saints game, the doors would have been open 3-4 hours before kickoff. I wish we as Black Consumers would realize that New Orleans is peeing on our heads and telling us it is raining and doesn't appreciate the revenue we bring to them during the Thanksgiving Weekend. This use to be one of the most outstanding games/events regardless if SU or GSU had a winning record. So much has been taken from this game and weekend that it is ridiculous. The Atlanta Football Classic was 150% times better than the classic this year and past years. The city of Atlanta and its Hotels/Hospitality was outstanding. Again, New Orleans doesn't appreciate the Bayou Classic and I'll never attend this event and stay in new orleans again.

The weekend of bayou classic is amazing. Starting off with the battle of the bands just set the stage. Southern university band was awesome!!!! The Greek show was very good as well. Grambling showed up but there was no comparison. The game was good too even though SU lost. I would recommend everyone experience the bayou classic at least once in their life.

I had a really good time at the Bayou Claasic. It's the one time of the year where I can go to New Orleans and feel likeI I'm in the French Riviera, it's like I have a out of body experience. It makes me feel like I'm a celebrity amongst the crowd. I'm so glad God has blessed me to be able to go every year.

I had the best experience at the Bayou Classic! oh my gosh...my seats were amazing! The game, well lets open the beat box....psh..psh..man the Tigers laid the Jags to rest. Now I like a Jag on 4 wheels. just saying. The bands were awesome! As for the overall experience, lets just say I can't wait til next year! Thanks Ticketmaster for the great, (understatement) seats! The game was exciting to watch and the atmosphere was great! Everyone in my section was well behaved and exhibited good sportsmanship. The dome itself was clean with nice climate control. The Ushers were very helpful. I hope to attend this event next year.

I was initially upset that that I asked for the best available seats and we were placed in section 649 Row 20. There was one row behind us at the top of Nose Bleed. My wife said that we will not sit here. I was imbarassed and ashamed. The story gets a whole lot better from there. The people at the SuperDome were very accomodating when we complained and upgraded our seats to 50 yard line and we were sitting with the players families. i don't want to go into a long diatribe, we jsut very pleased with our experince and their desire to make it good for us!!!!!

I love this match-up. By far one of my favorite weekends of the entire year. A classic rival that I hope NEVER ends. Two premier HBCU's provide top of the line entertainment and gives you your money's worth. The step-show, battle of the bands, pre-game concert, the game, and half-time show. This will be an annual pilgrimage for me and my friends. Can't wait until next year.

I decided to attend the game at the last minute and was surprised at the seating available. I purchased three tickets that were in a very good area. The event was very organized. I thought there would be more venders at the stadium but later realized why they were not stationed there. There were venders lined up and down one of the major streets making it so much easier to enter and leave the stadium. Parking was easy to access. My family and I had a great time at the Bayou Classic and will attend next year with more family.

We are faithful in attendance yearly for support of both universities and it was refreshing to see the dome packed from plaza to terrace. Great game. Our family had 11 seats in the terrace end zone area, split over two rows. It was a great idea and the 1st two rows of 600 section.

This is an event I try to attend every year and this year was the BEST EVER! From the Battle of the Bands on Friday night to check out on Sunday, the weekend was full of nothing but enjoyment! Saturday's game was highly anticipated as both teams came in with an undefeated record in the conference. A trip to conference championship would go to the winners. Both teams left everything on the field. Can not forget the half time show with two of the best bands in the country!!! This is an event the whole family can enjoy. See you November 2017!!!

The Bayou Classic was Amazing from start to finish! The team was poised, confident, and ready to play. There were very few penalties during the game which is unusual for any SWAC game. The team was disciplined and they came prepared to WIN!!! The QB was spectacular. He had an amazing game and when he wasn't running the ball, he was passing the ball. The overall crowd was great, the bands were great!! Grambling State University simply out played Southern University. We are ready for the SWAC Championship game. See you all in Houston.

SU did an outstanding job in the beginning but things seem to have fallen short somewhere in between as GSU took charge and kicked butt! I wasn't pulling for a particular team, I just wanted to see a good football game and I was pleased with the results. Both bands did an amazing job and you could feel each school's spirit throughout the stadium. The only thing I was not pleased with was the $25 parking fee. The day prior I paid $15 for parking which I felt was reasonable for an event of this magnitude but an increase of $10 the next day had me feeling like inflation was not being regulated. In an area like Louisiana where the population is still trying to recover for storm damages, why charge the community outrageous amounts of money to support an HBCU event?

The whole Bayou Classic weekend is the most exhilarating HBCU event each year! The game was the highlight and Grambling won after an incredible comeback. The spirit in the SuperDome was electrifying!! The Battle of the Bands and Greek Step Show takes place the night before the game. There was so much friendly competition with a lot of fellowship amongst black folks it seem like a utopia. We cracked jokes all throughout the performance of the 2 competing bands. There was not one incident of violence with 2015 attendance: 62,907. Don't expect to see this on the media bc it is too positive

The game was unforgettable, I will be back whenever I can, it was one of the best experiences in my life. Everyone was friendly and helpful because I am from Texas so this was my first time visiting New Orleans. The only warning I would give is be careful where you park if you park on the street, because I got a ticket because I parked in the wrong direction on the street, even though I was able to park there. The venues around after the game are fun and great to mingle at. It is crowded but its not that bad.

I attend the game every year and wasn't happy about the new time. I realized though that there was a lot more fans then in the past so maybe there was a valid reason to change the time from 2pm to 4pm. Overall, I had a great time and will continue to attend the event in the future. Thanks to Ticketmaster for the ease in purchasing tickets.

I've watched and been to many games. Mostly to see the halftime show....but the game was one of a few exciting games I've seen this year. When people say down to the last second it was literally. We planned to leave early to beat the crowd but this game was just that good we had to stay because Gambling came from behind almost tied the game. One of the best games ever.

This was my first time attending the Bayou Classic but it will, most assuredly, not be my last! Every official event throughout the entire weekend was well organized and I had an absolute blast. The general vibe of the Classic is extremely family-friendly so the crowds consisted of people of all ages. Great atmosphere, good food, tons of fun. Can't wait for next year!

It was a great experience overall. Wi-Fi not that great though. Atmosphere and abundance of concession choices made it better than most stadiums.

I really would recommend the Bayou Classic to anyone looking for a great time in a great city. I enjoyed the entire experience in New Orleans. The night life and the warm friendly people was amazing. I had the opportunity to see local high school and young drill team marching bands for the their annual Thanksgiving Day Parade. To top it off, I had a great time at the Superdome for a great game between Grambling and Southern; in addition to the two outstanding bands at haft time. Thanks to ticketmaster for a amazing seat on the 50 yard line.
