My husband & I had an amazing experience while at the Pirates Game. Our seats were perfect, directly behind the players. The staff everywhere was inviting & happy, the place was clean & the game was eventful. Of course a couple of really good fights broke out, wouldn't be a hockey game w/ out them! Salty Pete the teams mascot made sure he was busy greeting & keeping people entertained. We will definitely be going again when the next season starts.

I very much recommend going to the Portland Civic center and checking out the Minor league affiliate of the Phoenix Coyotes...the Portland Pirates. I used T-mast to get these tix as a B-day gift for my son. Front-row at the Glass! Very fun time...even though the Pirates played poorly that night. They had won their last 8 home games. Oh, well...still...I'm very glad to have experienced it with my son and T-master came through.

The seats were great. The parking was cheap. A great value. The Civic Center has gone downhill in appearance and needs a major housecleaning. Entertainment between periods was dull.

The game was great. However the audio and visual commercial/promotions were a bit over worked. Both on the ice, on the jumbo board, and over the PA. Also the snack areas were closed when we left midway through the last period. Otherwise, great experience!

My boyfriend and I were looking for some fun yet relaxing and AFFORDABLE entertainment in Portland. I am so glad that I went through ticketmaster. The seats we had were GREAT. I couldn't have picked out better seats myself, and we had a really great time. I would highly reccommend this to anyone looking for a fun yet affordable time, and I would definately go through ticketmaster for tickets again.

I took my sport loving son to the game and was amazed at the seats I got.............Row 1 on the glass and on the blue line. The game was exciting and he especially loved the fight that included most players and broke out after the final buzzer.

The seats we're amazing! Front row right on the ice practically! The Pirates won from a score of 2 to 1 against the Scranton Penguins. They had multiple fights which make a hockey game so much better! Game was awesome =]

My Husband and I have both been to a Pirates game many of times before, but years ago. We had a great time at the game and enjoyed our front row seats. we couldnt have got better seats. the will call service made it easy and simple to pick up the tickets with out any hassels. the food and drinks are all affordable, although we did buy 2 jerseys for our kids and they are a bit pricey. the kids sizes are $30 less which we have a 12year old and needed to buy a adult small which i thought was a bit much to pay for a jersey but we couldnt buy one for one child and not the other. I wish some how you could come down a bit on the prices of the pirates items(2 jerseys $168! thats alot!!!) I think more people would buy and you would see more of a fan base out there that way. Other then that the tickets are a great price and the players are always exciting to watch. great game!

This was my first hockey game and it was an awesome experience! Attended the game with my boyfriend and enjoyed every second of it. The Pirates won 7 to 1...Yay!!! We had the best seats, the atmosphere was excellent, the game so much fun and the company truely amazing. I would highly recommend going to see a Portland Pirates game to all my friends, family and everyone else! Enjoy!!!

This by far was the funnest game the Family has ever been to. We had great Seats which were in Section V Row 5 right behind the Player Benches. Ticketmaster was also a great help when we found out that we left our tickets at home when we were only 20 minutes away from the Arena. We called Ticketmaster and they were able to have the tickets reprinted and we picked them up that night at the boxoffice. Great Customer Service and I would recommend Ticketmaster to anyone.

Great game. Pirates won! Too bad the people behind us did not know how to make their kids behave. Pirates games are not for 2 year olds that need a bag of toys to keep occupied. If you need all those toys you probably should leave the kids at home with a sitter. People in front of you don't appreciate having toys dropped on them and constantly having their chairs kicked by your child's boots. Please take care of your children and make sure they don't ruin other people's good time.

The hockey was just that, a hockey game. We won! However, i'm not sure if the admission price was higher because of the fireworks.. The fireworks were just loud noises with sparkler effects. I know we are inside however, I would suggest another finally. Music / band for children..etc.

Portland pirates were right on there game this night. So much fun! Wish there was more people attending the game though :( our side that wed were sitting on was packed but the other side not so much! The games are so fun to go to and there isn't a bad seat in the house! We sat I'm action D row 18 and the view was great. The only reason it didn't get 5 stars was because the tickets are a bit pricey, but I'd say worth it!

This was a great first time family event for us! Awesome seat for cheap, food that was actually edible and all around a great time! Only down side was the space between rows. We sat next to a gentleman with two canes and the gap between our seats and those in front of us made it difficult for him to move when people tried to walk buy.

This was our first Portland Pirates hockey game ever, and it was very fun! We really enjoyed sitting right near the away goal for two thirds of the game. There was lots of action, excellent beer from Sebago Brewing Company and a really good time. The fans were enthusiastic and though it was our first game, it made us enthusiastic. Keep it up, Pirates! :-)

The game was great. The seats were great. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We got there just before the gates opened and the line was long but moved very quickly when the opened. The food lines woved quickly also. I have been very impressed with how clean the restrooms are. And the promotions throughout the game are exciting. They start on time and keep things moving.

I had a fabulous time with my friends and after the game we got to skate on the ice and get the autographs from the players. I thought te seats were going to be better. We were right next to the opposaing team's bench and they would always stand up so we couldn't see anything at the other end of the rink. However, the view of our end was great and I'd love to go back again.

The venue was really clean and easy to navigate. The hockey game was fun - which we expected, but the intermission events were also a lot of fun. Very entertaining and fun for our whole family. (Two adults, a 14 year old and a 10 year old).

I'm not sure who made the decision to not open the other concession stands but that was a terrible decision. Knowing there were fireworks scheduled you should have known the crowd would be above your average.

Going to see the Portland Pirates play is always a guaranteed good time. The venue is easy to navigate, Pete the anouncer has amazing enthusiasm and there is a wide variety of refreshments available.The atmosphere is great for a family night out. Parking has never been a problem there are several garages and small lots reasonably close at a very good price.

Brought my 7 y/o son the the game and he had a lot of fun. Not as cool as it used to be a decade ago. Have gotten rid of a lot of what makes minors games fun. Food was decent but priced high- though that is to be expected at any sports game. My big issue is the ticket pricing. Pirates games used to be a family event that was affordable, now it cost me $56 for 2 tickets. No child pricing, family packs, or anything worth mentioning to save on cost. Had to leave my 11 y/o and wife at home because it was just too much for all of us. There were only about 500 people at the game btw, maybe they should get a clue and lower the ticket prices to get people in then make their money off those over priced concessions.

We won. The seats I chose were an experiment in seating locations. Personally, I like seats higher, about 15-20 rows from the ice. You can't see the play in the far corner close to the boards. I won't do that again. The fees charged for the tickets were ridiculous. I paid $14.50 in fees. I won't do that again either.

The revamped facility is very nice. The lighting is better and access to the main concourse is much better. All the staff was great as they usually are. Too bad the Pirates were a bit flat.

Always enjoy going to Portland for AHL Hockey... Really miss that the Anaheim Ducks moved their affiliation years ago. Some NHL team will be lucky to have their affiliation there next year as Arizona is looking to move. Well wishes to the hockey fans in Maine!

A fantastic, fun-filled evening with my husband and 7 year old son! A great family show, engaging, and entertaining! we've certainly become pirates fans, and look forward to attending more games. From the convenient parking, to the helpful staff, to the sportsman-like conduct of the players, we enjoyed every minutes!

I had two tickets and ended up going alone due unforeseen circumstances. Thanks to the lovely ladies at the ticket office, I was able to exchange the unused ticket for a later game. Even tho I went alone it was a blast and would highly recommend the pirates game to any age group.

We enjoyed the Portland Pirates game very much. The arena doesn't have a bad seat. Everyone is courteous and efficient. The food was good. But aboveall the hockey was good and the Pirates put on a tremendous performance beating Providence 2-1.

I thought the level of play was be more exciting. Hockey fan that just moved into the area. Was going to suggest a company evening for future game but now have doubts.

Well worth the trip to Portland! Only think I would say do not rely on the "best seat available" I got center ice row 21, the seats were great. But a lot of seat in lower rows of the same section.

We had great front row seats and enjoyed the fast pace of the game and being in the middle of the melees! The gentleman behind us was giving a play by play interpretation to his granddaughter which we loved and shared with our grandson. What a great family holiday tradition!

What a great game. The Pirates were behind 1 to 4 in the second period and what a comeback. The game ended up 5 to 5 so we went into overtime. Seconds into overtime the Pirates score for the WIN!!. WOOT WOOT

With the lockout the AHL affords a chance to see young/future NHL stars for a fraction of the price of NHL games. This game featured several current/future Bruins and Coyotes including Bourque, Camper and Ekman-Larsson. Between AHL and college hockey I don't miss the NHL nearly as much.

This game was outstanding, one of the best games I have watched them play. The game tied even after over time and they had to go to my favorite a SHOOT OUT. It was wonderful from beginning to end. Even the brawl at the end was fun to watch.

It was a great game that started slow, and got progressively more aggressive & competitive. A few small brawls errupted, and it became a high scoring game tied 4 to 4 at the end of the 3rd period. Overtime lead to a shootout, and the Pirates won. At the end of the game, all players were on the ice, and multiple fights occurred between players. I have a perfect view of the action from my seats, right behind the goal box closest to the fights.
