It was an amazing game. Free admission, first come first serve, all amenities open, great atmosphere. It's always a good game when you leave with a Win! Gibson was a great addition to the San Diego Gulls AHL team that night, everyone out it a lot of great work, kept the puck at the shoutout end of the ice. Great win Gulls. P.S. WildWing was seen cheering on the Gulls.

This was such an exciting game! These two team are definitely starting up a rivalry. I am very excited to see more West Coast hockey, and am impressed with the San Diego team. As an Ontario season ticket holder, I look forward to many more games this season but with different results. It is my hope that hockey will gain many more life long fans with this new resurgence of hockey. It truly does become a lifelong love affair!! It was a bit disappointing that so many of our printed tickets did not scan, even though they were all printed at the same time. Half of them worked just fine and the other half did not.

The Ducks and Kings AHL teams played their final preseason game at the Pond, and tickets were free. How could I pass this up? First come, first serve on all seats in the house. We arrived just before the game and got really good seats in the club level (best level in the house IMO). By the time the game started there was over spill in to the upper deck. Honda Center is great for hockey and concerts, and although its older that Staples Center, I feel you get a more intimate experience for their events. Plus no downtown parking mess!

You want to see AHL matches because these are players trying to make it up to the big league NHL level. The play is fast and furious non-stop. The games are a great value.

It was fantastic that the Duck orgainaization put this on for the fans. It was great that so many fans came out for the game and the King fans were there in force that made the entire night a great time.

The whole experience was incredible. From the tickets, to the parking, to the seats, to the food. TWO THUMBS way up. The Gulls looked great. The Ducks new big scoreboard was flawless. That sound of fans cheering and the blades cutting through the ice - just got me all excited! Hockey season is BACK and it is now back in my hometown. LETS GO GULLS!

This was the first home game for the Gulls. It was held at the Honda Center in Anaheim. All tickets and parking were free. The arena was about 75% full. The game was won by the Gulls 5 to 3 over Ontario. The Gulls came to play, Ontario seemed to play with no purpose. Seems the Kings, Ontario's parent club plays the same. This was a preseason game, so I guess practice is what they were doing. The Gulls had Gibson playing and is the goalie for the season. He played a good game, even drawing a roughing penalty in the first quarter. Another standout player for the Gulls was Richie, a 19 year old prospect. He was evolved in a fight and delighted the crowed with an overhand right to the Ontario player over the head of the Ref. He did get a roughing penalty. The game was well played by the Gulls, a good time was had by all. On side note the Chicken Tenders at $10.00 were dried out before the game, and the hot dogs were soggy buns and not very good for $6.40. Eat before you go elsewhere.
