Jack Johnson

Jack Johnson put on a great show in Cincinnati. He was very interactive with the crowd between songs. The audio mix was great as well. His acoustic guitar sounded amazing and very clear with all the other instruments. There were a few times he forgot the words to his own songs and hummed through those parts. He played it off well and the crowd thought it was hilarious. I was hoping to hear more variety from his discography. He played some songs from older albums but most of the show was from his most recent ones. The weather was great that evening as well. Nothing like hearing Jack Johnson play "Banana Pancakes" with a breeze from the Ohio River blowing through Riverbend's amphitheater.

Amazing setlist! True Jack fans know! California was a good show, but this was the BEST!

Jack Johnson sounded great as always, and the opening band Fruition was good as well. However, when I purchased my tickets for $100+ each I was not aware that my view of the stage would be partially blocked by a large post. The seating map needs to be updated, and for those seats that have obstructed views the buyer should be made aware before they purchase tickets. Bottom Line, I would recommend anyone going to see Jack Johnson, but beware of your seat purchase at The Pavilion at Toyota Music Factory

Couldn't have been a better day or better place to do this. Had a great time, and so did our 2 year old daughter! Good music all around!

Event was fun, enjoyed the different booths in Kokua Village- but the Merchandise line took WAY to long. Bike valet was really convenient, people were nice and quick to get your bikes to you. Great vibe from all the staff and partygoers. Will definitely be back next year.

The festival was awesome. Jack, Ziggy and Jason were incredible. I cant wait for the next one.

Really great show. Wish it would have lasted a bit longer. Awesome to have so many great musicians on stage at once! Paula Fuga was a nice surprise.

Jack Johnson and other artists were awesome. You can always count on a great concert with Jack. However, the venue has really gone downhill. You are no longer allowed to take in your own food or drink, yet the food offered for sale at the concert was pretty nasty.

Jack played all the favorites, was funny and entertaining between songs, and brought all the other performers up on stage for some great collaborations.

I've already seen Jack Johnson performing a couple of times in Australia, Germany, Spain; but the show here in Honolulu was just the best I could ever imagine. Such great performers besides Jack, absolutely fantastic atmosphere; I will savour this moment forever!

I always feeel Jack's set could be longer!! He plays for like an hour and we paid $50. All and all kokua is fun and the shell is a great spot. I enjoyed the eco-friendly vendors!

Best part of the night was when all the artists got on stage and played Ziggy Marley's dads tune, Don't Worry. All the artists, Jake Shimabukuro, Anuhea, Taj Mahal, Ziggy Marley, Paula Fuga, and Jack Johnson melded their voices and music nicely when all on stage together. Great night!

The Kokua Festival was totally awesome!. Jack, Ziggy,Taj, Jake, Anuhea,Paula sounded better then ever. With the Backdrop of Diamond Head it couldn't have been more better. Did our part in saving the planet by carpooling with the official Kokua shuttle; no hassles & Matthew was a great driver. Use the service for Mother Earth & no headaches. Thanks Jack.

Fun time for the whole family. We enjoyed ourselves the entire afternoon. Food lines were crazy, but sponsored gave away a bunch of treats.

Great show, Nice line up. It was nice to see that it was a family event for many people. It is a great community festival. My only complaint was that there was no smoking in the lawn section. It is a concert.

I don"t know how he is live with long hair, but with his short hair he was AMAZING! Seeing Jack Johnson live is something I think everything should have in their bucket list. He puts on an awesome show for all ages. If he is coming somewhere near you, you MUST GO!!!

FINALLY!!!!!!!! A few years ago, my wife, came across Jack Johnson online. Not knowing his extraordinary ability on the guitar and just laid-back hawaiian style, would hook us so fast. It was at that time we became instant JJ fans. We have yet to see JJ live but we know it will be GREAT!!!! Greater than Great. "EPIC" Play on JJ, Play on.

I have been to numerous concerts in my life. Jack Johnson's musical talent put him over the top with any concert I have ever been to. It was a surreal experince that I will never forget! I seen him in 2008 and I am getting ready to purchase tickets to the 2010 tour now! Can't wait!

My best friend, sister & I saw Jack in Atlanta in 2008. AMAZING! Jack is my FAVORITE artist and I can't wait to see him again in concert!!

This is anticipation review. Flat out, this concert will be AWESOME!!! I just cant wait. I would gladly fly from Dallas to Hawaii to see JJ!!!!

I enjoyed the venue area. I liked the restaurants they had. While I was standing in front line my husband was able to go get us food from one of the restaurants. Once we got into the venue it was easy to find our way to GA pit. The Jack Johnson crowd were very nice and polite. The whole concert experience was awesome. Jack Johnson sang all my favorite songs from his album. It was one of the best experiences I had at concerts.

After a heavy storm passed over and a cool front came in, it set a nice tone to a great show playing right through almost all the hits. He even took requests and played a song not on the originally plan for the night.

Great time with amazing acoustics for the lawn! Bus transports were full every time we tried to get on so we had to walk but probably needed the exercise

I'm a "mature" lady with four kids and two grandchildren. I really enjoy Jack Johnson. It was a family event! From 1 year olds to over 50 year olds. Perfect Jam, excellent vibe. Fruition playing with JJ was an added treat. The rain stopped, so the venue was great. COTA is a wonderful place to be for all events. Let's do it again!

Jack Johnson was warm, personable, funny, told stories and put on an amazing show. He attracts a higher quality of people, there were no fights, no one was belligerent. It was a perfect evening! The venue itself sucks. It is extremely dated and looks janky. It hasn't been updated since it was Blockbuster Pavillion. Jack is the only artist I love enough to go to PNC.

Went with my 15 year old and did not expect much. Wow was I surprised. Jack has a great smooth voice and knows his way around string instruments. He played non stop and was engaging and focused on the crowd. Will see him again.

Great show! Jack puts on an amazing show as always. Loved how he didn't just play his new album and then some old favorites. He played his classics and mixed in his new stuff. Sounds great live as always. Definitely recommend going to see him if you have the chance.

What a treat Jack Johnson was. He was amazingly awesome. So very grateful Jack came to Charlotte and let us experience such an awesome concert!

Third time I've seen Jack Johnson....gets better every time.

Doors opened at 4:00 but first act didn't come on until 5:30. Then second act. Kids got tired of sitting on ground and waiting for headliner so we got up to go home at 7:30 (4.5 hours after we arrived including the hour before gates opened). As we made our way through the Jam-packed lawn, Jack Johnson came on at 7:45p. We watched while standing on the side since we gave up our lawn seat. Went home w 3 kids at 9:00 but concert wasn't finished. Wish we had known that 4:30 concert would actually be 7:45p. Would've gotten reserved seats instead to cut down on people crowding and squeezing into tiny open spaces on lawn. Did they over sell the venue maybe?

The concert and venue were spectacular. All of the environmental organizations, food and NO plastic were noticeable and fantastic. Music was incredibly authentic.

Absolutely the best concert ever. Not mentioning the 100% plastic free environment and recycle bins everywhere. Jack is the best :)

Once again JJ did not disappoint and the Greek theatre is the perfect backdrop. His music and his energy kept the crowd going. A show I wouldn't have missed.

Jack was great and Harvey's is an amazing venue to see any concert. There was free filtered water which I have never heard of at a concert. Saving the $5 per bottle and environment allowed us to spend more $ on other things - merchandise, bar, and food

Love Zach Gill & Jack's history going back to 1993. They compliment each other and Friday's show was a perfect example of that. I love the intimacy of Harvey's and being surrounded by mountains and trees. Perfect setting and show.

Jack Johnson has been at the top of my concert bucket list for years, he did not dissapoint. He played my favorite songs from all his albums, plus covers and a few great new songs. Not a lot of talking between songs, but when he did you can tell that him and his band have a great time doing what they do. They all sounded fantastic and I'd see him again in a heartbeat.

The weather was perfect, the lighting was mellow & rythmic. Jack Johnson & his fellow musicians mesmerized & lulled us all evening. While we strolled down memory lane listening to his heartwarming songs, he took us behind the writing with tales of "how", "when" and "why" the songs came to be with his easy going nature and humor. Of course the place was packed & blankets covered the steep hillside! The sun "did it's thing" ... painting the evening sky with hues of apricot, melon & pale touches of amber. The crescent moon slinked into view, lighting up ever so slowly as the night sky began to turn inky and the stars appeared and sparkled above. All around us people swayed and we all sang along on a perfect California summer night. There was a calm & happy vibe over all. And although the ever present rude folks sauntered about, they couldn't dampen the sweet spirit that Jack Johnson brings to his concerts. The Good Stuff: Although we had to stand if we wanted to get a glimpse of the performance, the sound was incredible!...great job!! There was filtered water available and reusable plastic cups. There were plenty of recycle bins throughout the venue & the "cleanliness" of the porta-potties provided was appreciated! There seemed to be ample merchandise available for purchase after the show. Although we didn't eat, the food looked & smelled delicious! Downers: Extremely long lines for ALL drinks/food, as well as for women's actual bathrooms. Hillside / grassy area is super steep - teetering on dangerous! Very small area of "grass" was flat & "comfortable". People stood for very long periods of time on the walkway between seats & grass area, making it difficult to see performance ... staff not too helpful there. (Always gonna have "those people" )

He is so talented, warm and just plain fun! So Much better live! Show was so good I wanted to travel to see the next one.

I have been to 3 Jack Johnson concerts, and none have ever disappointed. From the interaction with fans, to playing all the favorite hits and coming back out for an encore, he is one of my favorite artists.

I go to many shows every year, but had never seen Jack Johnson. His music is great, the sound was great, the energy from the crowd was there and ready, but Jack Johnson is not much of a performer. I was bored half way through, and so was my girlfriend. She actually suggested that we leave to get ahead of the parking, so we left after the 12th song, and clearly many others were doing the same as there was a steady stream out. I will stick to listening to his music. No charisma on stage, and lack of energy or ability to entertain

Although Jack and his band started a bit late for whatever reason, they put on a great show when they came out to play. Jack's personal stories and antidotes throughout the show were touching and relatable. The live music was incredible, and the surprise performances by Zach Gill were beautiful! What a relaxing, down-to-earth show and performance.

Jack did not disappoint! I've been to many concerts and this hands down was the best one yet! Amazing show.

I've been to a lot of concerts. This was my 3rd time experiencing a Jack Johnson concert. He's definitely in my top 5 of artists to see live. He's such a positive force in our overly negative world. Blossom Music Center is a great venue. It's always a challenge to get in and out of the parking lots, but if you're prepared for that you'll be fine.

i couldn't have asked for a more engaging performance from Jack. his voice and musical flow had me moving all night! even the few times where he had a minor lapse in remembering the lyrics or what verse he was on, only to break and comment on it, or break stride in his set list to throw out a li'l unexpected gem like "Upside Down" for a little dude in the crowd just made this show all that much more memorable for me. i'm a lifetime fan of Jack's and only wish that i could've had my feet in sand while dancing to him under the moonlight...

I have been a fan of jack Johnson for years. My girlfriend and I went to this concert on a whim. We drove 600 miles to see him and it was well worth it! My girlfriend has an injury that doesn't allow her to stand for long. When I mentioned this to the staff, they gave us accommodation seats! Along with the great seats, the concert itself will be one I'll never forget. It was everything we wanted and more. Thank you Jack, for the wonderful music and that you staff, for the generous seats.

Jack Johnson plays genuine music and I would watch him preform again!! The entire show was amazing, including his guest musicians! Good sound and View, bring blankets to sit on because this venue does not have chairs!

Jack didn't disappoint. He played songs from his very first album up to the recent. He even brought Rob Machado on!!! The only downside was the unorganized lines for food and drinks. But that's not his fault. I would love to see him again!!

Absolute best concert I've been to. Definitely going to stay one of my tops. It was just a perfect day. Jack Johnson is super cool and so personable even sharing little things here and there about his wife. Which made it all the more enjoyable to hear each song. Perfect concert to go to with your husband, or boyfriend. Basically a perfect concert for those who are in love and are fans of Jack Johnson.

I was concerned about GA seating at RIMAC Field, but we arrived early enough to spread out a blanket in a great spot with a good view of the stage. I don't know how I would have felt if I had ended up much farther back, but was very content with where we ended up. Before the show started, we enjoyed walking around the Village Green, with booths for local and national charities. There were also multiple food vendors, but the lines were super long. If you brought an empty water bottle, there was free filtered water available, which was cool, because who wants to spend $5 for a bottled water? The opening act, Bahamas, was very good and helped set the tone for a mellow summer night. After a short wait, Jack and his band came on and brought everyone to their feet. He sounded absolutely fantastic, and played a great mix of old and new songs, as well as several covers. There was honestly never a lull in the performance - the set list was perfectly paced, and Jack's between-song banner was charming and personal. His band is awesome, too - especially Zach Gill, who played the keyboard and accordian, and is also a great vocalist. The crowd was pretty chill and well-behaved. Pretty much everyone was on their feet for the entire show. Watching Jack put on a stellar show on a lovely summer night under the stars was a wonderful way to enjoy a late summer Saturday! The one negative to the evening was getting out of the parking garage after the show. It took nearly an hour once we were in our car to exit the garage - ugh! I am not letting that impact my 5-star rating for Jack's actual show, as I am sure he would have detested the carbon emissions from all those idling cars.

My husband and I LOVED the show!! Jack Johnson is such an admirable man for supporting organizations that make the world a better place to live in. this was the second of the 2 shows we attended both were amazing !! , we've been to hawaii 4 times in 2 years visitng daughter and always wished we could see a show at the Shell..opportunity came up and we went!...I thought the first night was the best of the 2, Phyl though night 2 was better since He play constellation which he didnt do the first night, Too many great songs to list, if you every get a chance to see Jack in his home town do whatever you can to see him, You won't be disappointed!!

Opener a little slow, unknown British guy...Jacks friend. Jack played lots of classics, mixed in with some new stuff. Great being in the pool/pit area, close to the railing. Crowd was a little subdued, except for drunk cigg smoking obnoxious loud girl behind me :( Second night was predictably better, a lot more lively crowd and jack more relaxed.

It was amazing production! Everything well organized, not crowded, run on time, secure and neat place. It was nice because wasn´t those big production, it seemed more like you were between friends having a great time.

Jack Johnson was incredible!!!! He played so many new and old songs and my friends and I could not stop dancing. The venue was great too because if you got there early you could be there as close are you wanted to him!

Great weather, great atmosphere, and great music. The opening act was awesome and really set the tone for Jack well. Jack played many old favorites, which surprised us since he had just released a new album earlier this year.

My husband and I went to this show as a date night and had the best time ever!! We got lawn seats and feel we ended up with the best spot in the house! We could lay out and watch the show and we saw everything from where we were sitting. I definitely recommend you to get there early if you opt for lawn seats, because the good spots go fast! Also, bring a blanket and make sure you bring low rider chairs. Otherwise you will have to rent chairs at $5 each. They don't allow regular foldable chairs.

There is nothing better than a warm summer night and the mellow vibe of Jack Johnson. He sounds great in concert and his band is full of cool interesting musicians. Perfect pairing with his opening act...Amos Lee.

The concert was fantastic! Jack Johnson was as fantastic as always! His guests were a wonderful surprise. The venue was great and very well organized! Open air and sitting on the grass was very relaxing! Good vibe!

It was the second time I have seen Jack Johnson and he really was amazing. His band was solid and added lots of energy to the performance. Jack's piano player is amazing and I would pay to see him play if he came to Panama City Beach. Jack played all his hits and mixed up the set list nicely. He brought the opening act up, Amos Lee, twice during the show and he was incredible. Amos' set was super, he played a rocking version of the Game of Thrones theme last and that was really cool. You have to go, pay the money, travel, do whatever, it is a must see.

Jack embraced the magic if a small venue and put on his best vancouver show in years.

Jack never disappoints. This is my 4th time seeing him. Seeing Jack in a SOLD OUT small theater performance atmosphere only added to the enjoyment. There wasn't a bad seat in the house. I can't wait to see him again in the future. I plan on attending his Kokua Music Festival in Hawaii when he schedules it again. The Bahamas, who opened for Jack, weren't bad either. The lead singer reminded me of Ron Burgundy!

I have seen at least 150 concerts and this one topped them all. Not only because it was Jack Johnson but the venue was amazing!

The Bahamas opening were fun to watch. I had never heard of them, but that was the icing on the cake. Jack was awesome as expected. Lights, sound, the whole package was very well done.

This tour is absolutely unforgettable! The small venue with lottery ticket purchasing is such a great idea. I've seen jack 4 times before. All were great but on a stage with so few people in the venue allowed for much more intimate experience. I now know the stories behind my favorite songs. To top that all off I got to meet Jack and Zach and Merlo after the show. What a wonderful experience. They were all such down to earth people. Talking to jack was like talking to an old friend. I've been snubbed by stars before. Jack made me feel like we were equals. ( despite his stardom). He asked me questions. He took time for every single fan that wanted to meet him. PS. Bahamas rocked it too.

Oh Jack Johnson, we, as your fans just love you. Seriously this was an awesome, intimate and interactive show at a beautiful venue. The show was awesome, the fans were great. The pianist sang a solo, surprisingly, and very very well, the bassist did a little rap, and Jack was awesome as always. He brought a girl up on stage for her 7th birthday [she had a sign], and let her dance to one of the songs, and that was awesome. The fans just hadn't had enough of him when they were finished with their set, so he came back for an encore and did 5 more songs!! Absolutely loved it. It was one of those shows that you wish you could go back to and just stay in for a week straight. Love <3 PS, even the opening act was great.

The concert was so cool, perfect and weather pleasant. I only would add a better visual effects. But anyway I like it a lot....

What an incredible night! Jack Johnson and G. Love did a short set before the show out in the Village Green area just to get things rolling. People were able to walk around and visit booths that will be the recipients of donations from the profits of the tour. They are all organizations that will help the environment. The show itself was fantastic! He sounds as good as he does on a CD so you know it is not simply a matter of an excellent sound board mixer. Jack was completely sharing the stage and it felt like sitting in on the best jam session ever. Things moved smoothly, everyone seemed to be having fun, the music was fabulous, the audience was on the feet and involved. This was definitely the best concert I have ever attended!

Best artist- I've seen him every year since 2003 and will continue to see him every year as long as he plays. Every concert is new and exciting and brings back memories of years before! I can't wait until the next year.

I had never attended a Jack Johnson concert but it was AMAZING! I sat by myself about 10 rows back from the stage and the people surrounding me were so welcoming. They were telling me how they fell in love at a JJ concert, how I'm going to be giving everyone hugs on the way out of the venue, and how it's going to change my life. I must say they were right for the most part. Jack has a wonderful stage presence, his friends that work along side him in the band are just as amazing, and they way that they work together is flawless. You can tell that performing is just second nature to them. I would say this is one of the best concerts I've been to, and I've been to over 100 concerts thus far.

The not so good......drunk married 40 yr olds talking Very loudly through most of the show and antsie teenages always up and down blocking the tiny stage........sorry had to get this part out....otherwise AESOME time.....last time I saw JJ was 2 yrs ago in Santa Barbara,CA. He just didn't stick to playing most of this new stuff but played a little bit of everything......and it was nice to see him play a song with Zee Avi and a bunch with G Love as well. He rocked out and didn't leave out the "laid back surf music" I fell in love with! Great concert!

The show was awesome. As usual, Jack rocked! He brings the laid-back feel of Hawaii along with popular music of the day for audiences all over the world to enjoy. No matter where the venue... be it in the desert or in Vancouver WA (where we were), audiences still feel like they're attending a backyard bar-b-que jam session with good friends and family. That's what Jack Johnson and his music does... brings people together as a family to enjoy life and take stock of what's really important in life. Thanks to his band and especially to Jack Johnson and his many environmental causes.

OK im forty something,, Ive been to alot of shows over the years ,, everything from heavy metal, blues , jazz , good old rock roll to country ,, and most of the time i have walked away thinking good show,, JACK JOHNSON is by far the BEST show i have ever been to,, my Lady and i had a great time,, we dance we sang,, my Lady turned me on to JACK years ago,, so i just had to get tickets for us,, some good memories were made that night,, by the way ,, we drove almost four hours to get to the show,, best road trip EVER,, thank you ,,,

Jack Johnson delivered during his stop at The Gorge. The play list was perfect and the encore ended a wonderful evening. If you didn't make it this year, you missed an incredible performance!

This is the second time we have seen Jack on this tour. We flew all the the way across the country to see this show. He is amazing live and puts on a very fun show. Always great friendly people in the crowd. Though I think people in the Pacific Northwest can't drink beer like us in the Midwest because their were staggering drunks everywhere by the end of the night!!! So when it comes to drinking beer we are king. The Gorge is an amazing venue and well worth traveling for!! I will definitely go back and thanks to Jack Johnson I have discovered a wonderful area of the world I never would have gone to if not for going to see the show at the Gorge. Can't wait to return to Washington someday and can't wait until the next Jack Johnson tour and the next new cd whenever that may be.

Breathtaking view, beautiful weather, and a fabulous performer. The Gorge was the perfect venue. There wasn't a single sound problem the entire night, and Jack had great stage presence. Although I was seated very far from the stage, I could still see the projected images on the screen behind the performers. The show was so unique and well put on. Very artistic visuals complimented the entire performance. The openers for Jack were also fantastic. If his tour ever comes to The Gorge again, I will definitely buy tickets. Fantastic concert. If you are considering going, please go. You will not be disappointed.

This was the second Jack show ive been to at the gorge, and it was AMAZING!! First off, before the show, G. Love, Jack and Zack Gill did a few songs on a small stage at the Village Green, which was great! Then i got to see half hour sets from both Zee Avi and G. Love and Special Sauce. These were great because i Love Zee, and G. was Soo entertaining! Of course, the best part was watching and listening to Jack as he explained some of his songs, and had Great perfomances of almost every one (messed up a bit on one song, but we helped him out ;)

It was perfect! We got there early and we saw a surprise show! he made a surprise show for everybody who got there early..and it was in a small stage!!! everybody was so close to him! and his concert is awesome!! perfect..I loved!

Arriving to the camp grounds around two in the afternoon on Saturday I already knew it was going to be an amazing night with eight friends along my side. The long walk from the campsite to the to the the venue was well worth it as we caught the tail end of the famous "Gorge sunset." The warm early fall air made for a beautiful setting to listen to one of my all time favorite musicians. Jack Johnson was amazing living up to his reputation, playing classic songs such as Better Together, Banana Pancakes, Taylor, along with songs like To The Sea, and At Or With Me from his new album. I didn't want the night to ever end, but like all great things it did.
