Hank 3 is got to be one of the best performers to ever grace the stage at the Norva! He just goes on and on for hours!!! He has a powerful cutting voice even more so than his famous grandfather. Awesome songwriter! Always has top shelf musicians with him! Drummer is phenomenal!! Upright bass incredible!! Fiddle player was awesome! And of course Hank and his incredible rythym guitar and singing!!! I'd follow him everywhere if I could

Hank III played more than I've ever heard a performer or band play, especially for not having any opening acts. Pierre's seemed to of under estimated the beer sales, but the solo cups kind of fit perfectly with the performance. Just a little odd to carry around two cups instead of one.

If you missed this show you really missed out on a damn good time. I wasn't to thrilled about it being at club firestone, the bartenders were slow and the whole place was out of PBR before Hank even went on. That was my first live concert for him an wow they can rock their face off. The energy there on stage was amazing. He sang a great line up of songs, an even threw in an old family tradition. I will for sure be at the next one when they come back!! Woooooohoooooo!!!!

Both bands were great musicians BUT when Hank came on stage the sound engineers always have to crank up the volume to the point of sonic distortion so that those of us who are not drunk or high cannot appreciate all the musical nuances. It was first country music experience with a mosh pit and boys that were just out of their minds. Next time I stand on the upper deck to prevent shoving. It was also too hot in the venue most of the time. The smoking got too thick so the smoke removers would have failed inspection. None of the negatives were attributable to Hank. He put on a stellar show for two hours and we loved him even though you could not understand one work when he became ASSJack.

no opener, and Hank went for 3.5 hours. You can tell it's very important for him to put on a show for his fans. One of the best shows I've seen anywhere in any genre. Looks and sounds just like his grandfather, it's like watching a ghost...from Hell!! People kept buying him shots of whiskey, and Hank reached down and took every single one--one cool motherF'er!

Hank 3 is an incredibly talented artist. He played for more than 4 hours, and then spent time doing a meet/greet with the audience. The acoustics in the venue were great, although it was very hot (to be expected at the end of July in Florida). Nice outdoor area to get away from the crowd for a while and enjoy the show being projected in the courtyard. Looking foward to seeing Hank 3 again!

We were blessed to experience over 2 hours straight of kickass C&W with the Damn Band, who sounded as clean as a CD, only to be followed by another 2 hours of experimental psychobilly, doom, and thrash. My friends are wasting the money on big Summer festivals, but I feel fortunate to have gotten to witness Hank III and his crew rip it up at Gramercy Theater! Club was quite hot, but it sounds silly for me to complain since the performers gave us over 4 hours of music without many stops at all.

My first time seeing Hank3. He was fantastic. Started out doing straight up country, then kept getting harder. Hardcore hillbilly went to hardcore punk. From there I don't know what label to put on it but it was great. 4+ hour show ended at 12:30! Worth every penny and I'll be back for more!!

I wish more artists were like HankIII. Love him or hate him, he is incredibly generous with his music and time. He Plays for 4 hours plus to allow fans of all his music to get their fill. Then certainly exhausted, still comes out and takes pictures and signs autographs for everyone remaining. A body won't take that beating forever but thanks for doing it while you can!Hank, you really should charge a little more for a ticket. You are a rare artist that actually deserves more for your efforts. Great show! Can't wait for the next time!

Hank III's show at the Mercury Ballroom in Louisville KY on June 3 was nothing short of amazing. With no opening act, Hank took the stage at 8:01 and held on to it for 4 hours and 15 minutes! It was a country, Hellbilly, rockin punk metal fusion extravaganza and Hank never once left the stage. It was a 255 minute long musical fillibuster that kept the crowd on its toes. If you are a fan of music and live performance you owe it to yourself to go see Hank III on this tour!

Hank 3 was awesome. No opening act, just him and his band jamming for 3 and a half hours. First he did traditional country music, second, he did what he calls Phychobilly, which is a mixture of country and metal. Then he and the drummer played very heavy metal instrumentals for 30 minutes, and finally he wrapped up the show with a set from his punk-metal band, Assjack. After the show was finally over, Hank 3 jumped off stage and began giving free autographs and pictures. As well as shaking everybodies hand and giving out hugs. Best show I have been to in a very long time, if not the best. Merchandise and drinks were all very fairly priced for a concert. I had a great time

Hank III tore it up in Richmond Saturday Night 9-4-2010. This is the first time I had been to The National, and it was a great venue. Kinda close to the Hood though. The show started on time and Hank came out Hard and Ready to put on a show. Outlaw country music is alive and well with him telling it like it is. He is not his Daddy. Hank III is not out to please everyone. He plays HIS Traditional Country Music. He tells it like it is, that is why you don't hear him on the Radio. Country music on the Radio Sucks. A 3 hour show is Hank's normal show and he puts his all in to his shows. (I have seen him twice).

Hank III does it again at 1st Ave. Country Rebel Hellbilly music is a little too much for the 1st Ave, they are too strict with their lousy rules, overpacked the venue and restricted choice viewing areas, but the show rocked, as usual. Most people leave after Assjack comes on, they kinda suck.

Hank is an incredible performer. When you watch him on stage you feel you are in the midst of a true legend. Having a name like Hank Williams leaves some big shoes to fill and he not only fills those shoes, but needs a larger size. The energy that was displayed on that stage was felt by everyone and was absolutely electric.

This was one of two shows me and my friends drove from Grand Rapids, MI to attend back to back. The other being in Cincinnati the following night, but that show couldn't hold a flame to the raw southern feel in Headliner's on this night. With only 50 or so miles separating the two cities felt more like 1,000. The loose balls out family feel to this show made seeing HANK III & Assjack better then any other time I have watched them live (8 times, in 5 cities). This was the first show on this leg of the tour so the man and his band were fresh and ready to rock. The set list definitely moved around all 4 of his albums as well as some great covers from some country legends. As the set turned from traditional country to hellbilly you could feel the tension in the room grow thick and ready to burst. The temperature in Louisville that night didn't nothing, but help feed the madness. For anyone that enjoys seeing the evolution of country music happen right before your eyes make sure to make it out and see HANK III live.

Anyone who has ever been to a Hank III show knows exactly what you are going to get. He is a talented, down to earth man and I've never seen any artist who has fan "loyalty and dedication" like III. That's because he is respectful to his fans... Hank III plays songs from all his own cd's, some of his grandaddy's music and some of Jr.'s music. He also plays cover songs of other outlaw country music artists that he admires such as Cash & Waylon. We left the Headliners show and traveled to Cincinati to see Hank III & Lucky Tubb again the next night. We got home last night from traveling to Knoxville to see Hank III & Lucky Tubb once more before Hank III heads out for an overseas tour.

I wasn't sure what to expect with Hank 3,as this was my first time seeing him. I've got to say it was something i'll never forget. He puts on a fantastic show, and the crowd was so into it they made it even better. There were a few times I felt as though I needed to move further to the back, which I did do. But other than getting bumped around a little the show was great. Hank sounded awsome. I do wish Hank would sing more country as I really enjoyed that part of the show, His country voice is really beautiful.

This was a great show and great venue. the sound was excellent, the bathrooms had toilet paper and the bartenders were very nice. Lucky Tubb and the Modern Day Troubadour's set was very entertaining. They even sang a Johnny Cash and June Carter Cash song that was excellent. They seemed to quell the very rowdy redneck crowd. When Hank III came out people went crazy. I didn't think there would be moshing but holy hell there was lots of it. It was like a Bad Brains or Rancid show. The crowd couldn't stop moving to either band, whether is was dancing or beating the crap out of each other. This show was not for the faint of heart, but neither is Hank.

An amazing experience. The first set was 1.5 hours pure ass-kicking, hard-edged, musically fine, country. The second set was what could by called "Gloom Rock," and though not to my taste, was interesting. By the time the third set rolled around past midnight we were exhausted, and took off. Nonetheless, an unforgettable experience from a talented and charismatic performer.

So I mainly went to this show to accompany my girlfriend who's waited years to see Hank 3. I only knew a few of his songs but was blown away by the performance. The show was scheduled to start at 9 and the band was on stage by 915 so not bad. The first portion was his more country songs. I wouldn't really call them bluegrass but it wasn't like the country you would hear on the radio either. The house was oversold from what I heard and there was an energy in the crowd that could really be felt and was reflected back from the stage. There was very minimal talking between songs and they played till shortly after 11. Around that time, they stopped and introduced the band and crew and whatnot and I thought the show was over. But no, Hank swapped out his acoustic guitar for an electric and launched into a second full set with more hard rock type music. My girlfriend isn't so much into the harder sound so we left after a few songs but from what I heard I would say it most closely compared to something like Godsmack. Friends that stuck around said the band played till around 12:30 so that's a 3-4hr show for around $25 with no breaks or intermissions.

Amazing! Hank 3 although known by few now, will be known by many in the years to come. The talent level displayed by Hank is hard to match in any field of music of today or any age. In my opinion he is one of the best country singers of all time. He plays REAL country music. Not the pop country that can be heard song after song on the radio. It's old style country with a twist. The fiddles, the steel slide guitar and the acoustic guitars put on a show that even in country music can only be called a "jam session." There was no opening band at the concert. That means you got to see who you payed for, the entire time!! After the first few hours of his country show he took bout a 30 minute break and came back out and did a rock show that was just as impressive. Another couple hours of some pretty hard core rock. It's like two concerts for the price of one. Fans of Rock, as well as fans of classic country can both enjoy a Hank 3 show well worth paying for. I can not wait for him to return to the area. He's got the blood line, and he's keepin' it going.

As usual Hank did not disapoint. One of the best shows I have ever been to. Hank plays long and hard and doesn't stop until they make him. The show started out packed as could be but by the end off the night just the diehards were left, just the way it ought to be.

This was the dopest concert i've seen in awhile, and the sad part is only have the audience stayed to see Hank's jam session with his drummer, with crazy B-movie shots displayed on the screen behind him. Hank takes country to a whole new level, and turns Nashville on it's head, ultimately showcasing a lack of originality echoing from that industry. The after country jam session reminded me of some stuff I've heard from the late Kurt Cobain, and Kurt would have been smiling.

The sound was amazing! It was a little crowed but I think that added to the fun of things. I would definetly attend another show at the Ogden!

H3 puts on one hell of a show. This was at least the third time I have seen him and really appreciate the way he structures the show in three parts. This time around the Country set was so tight I was blown away. The Hellbilly set was only three or four songs, with about a 5 minute break afterwards. When Hank returned it was just he and the drummer and I don't know what happened but all the stage lights had died. Clearly not part of the plan but it fit the new music he played. Dark and gloomy. Or better yet, Doom and Gloom. Lots of sounds Iommi would be proud of but not very structured and not something you are going to see anyone 'dancing' to any time soon. So, big picture, loved it. He is a great performer with very competent musicians backing him. That said, I enjoyed the rockabilly and metal sets more the other times I saw him.

The first half of the show was great! Totally rockin! I was really enjoying it even though I am not much of a country fan. But after the "5 minute break" I really could have left and not missed much. The video was weird and the music really sounded like a two hour long song.

This concert was everything you'd want out of a concert experience. Hank sounds exactly like he does when listening to him on CD/MP3. He had good energy, and the crowd was very into it. I would definately recommend this show to someone, and I'd pay money to see him again.

This was an amazing show that started out with about an 1:45 long country set that had one of the crazier most pits I've seen in awhile. Very high energy and super fun. After that there was about 30 min. or so of psychobilly that was also excellent before they took a 10 min. break. When Hank returned to the stage it was just him and the drummer and they went into about an hour long set of really slow and heavy stoner rock. After this the drummer switched out and another guitar played came on stage and they went into more of a metal sound (ala Slayer) but with a crazy auctioneer's vocals dubbed over every song. They started playing around 9pm and I left around 12:20am while they were still playing their metal set. The crowd was pretty thin by this time, but even leaving before the bitter end I felt like I got more than my money's worth.

Hank Williams III, son of Hank Williams Jr., and grandson of the legendary Hank Williams Sr., is an amazing performer. This show lasted around 4 and a half hours. For those who don't know, Hank does about a 2 hour long country set, (real country music,) about a 30-45 minute long Hellbilly set, (which is somewhere between country and metal,) and wraps it up with an extremely trippy doom metal set from his album A.D.D., featuring "Tribulation 99", a b-rated film that plays on mute on a projector screen behind Hank and the band, and really adds to the doomy atmosphere. This night was slightly different, however, he played all of the above, but also managed to play the entire set of his new punk-metal project called 3" in between the Hellbilly and Doom set. The 3 album comes out on Oct. 1st, as well as his new country double-album, Brothers of the 4x4. Both of which are available for pre-order on Hank3.com During the country set, Hank played a few songs from the upcoming double-album, in addition to the classics. To top things off, Lamb of God and Gwar were in the house and shared the stage for a bit, and as always, after the show, Hank always takes the time to see the fans, talk, give autographs, and take pictures all for free and he will not leave until he gets through everybody that stayed. The crowd also gets very rowdy, but you always make new friends during a Hank3 show. If standing and being knocked around every now and again by the adjacent mosh pits isn't for you, be sure to find the seated section, but regardless, if you catch Hank 3 close to you, go to the show. It will be a night you will never forget.
