I would like to thank Pittsburgh for hosting a great NHL Stadium Series. Though I am a Flyers fan I had a blast. The stadium was awesome too.

The NHL put on a great show! Besides the game, there was live music and lots of fireworks/pyrotechnics. This is our second outdoor hockey game (we also went to the 2008 Winter Classic in Buffalo), and we had a great time. NOTE: Parking at Heinz Field is an absolute mess and OUTRAGEOUSLY overpriced. Be prepared to take 3 times as much money as you pay to park at the Penguins' PPG Paints Arena. Also, the seat/section numbering is confusing at Heinz Field - there were two rows lettered U in Section 125 with our seat numbers, and even the usher sent us to the wrong place. Totally annoying. All in all, we loved the game but hated the venue.

While my seat was not that great it was awesome just watching an outdoor hockey game in beautiful Southern California. This was truly an event that I can check off my bucket list and can't wait to go again.

The game and the performances by KISS, Jordan Sparks, and Five for Fighting were great. But the biggest bummer was that Dodger Stadium RAN OUT OF BEER!!!!....TWICE!!!! and they ran out of food...and candy, etc.

At the time of purchase, they should have a much better seating chart that allows the consumer a understanding of where they will be sitting vs. the view of the rink.

What a great day! As a longtime hockey fan, this was an experience that I will remember forever!! I brought my five year old son, and he had such a blast! There were plenty of great per-game activities for the whole family to enjoy!

Watching an outdoor hockey game in Los Angeles at Dodger Stadium was an awesome experience! Dan Craig and his crew did a marvelous job with the ice. Our seats were in section 4RS Row D. Our view was a lot better than I expected. Able to see the numbers on the back of the jerseys. The weather was great. It was a beautiful night. As far as entertainment, not a huge KISS fan, but I really enjoyed Five for Fighting's performance at intermission. No problems parking in Lot K when we arrived. However, there were long lines of cars waiting to exit Dodger Stadium at the end of the evening, but that's normal LA traffic. We took our time walking to our car. Overall, even though ticket prices were steep, we came for the experience and so happy our Ducks won the game!

Stadium Series game was a great time. I enjoy going to Dodgers games and Kings games, thus making this Kings game a sight to see. The view of the field was just amazing. NHL did a great job putting this together. The only negative part was the lack of organization during the parking and the outdoor activities in Lot 4. Other than that minor hiccup the event was great and I hope it will be done again next year, I'll definitely attend again.

Other than the Kings losing and the Lodge Level (home plate & 3 base side) running out of COLD beer in the 2nd period and could only serve us WARM beer, we had a blast! Next time we spend almost $300 per ticket (yes, our choice) we expect the stadium to not run out of anything!

The event was amazing!! Everything about the event. It was sort of magical. My son and I felt like we were at a field of dreams. I'm a huge kings fan and anytime they lose, my night is usually ruined. I didn't care so much about their performance this night. My son and I got there as soon as the parking lot opened and didn't want to leave when the game was over. I hope the NHL will bring this outdoor event back to California. Hopefully a SJ/kings matchup!!!

Ok, the event was sort of cool. Hockey outdoors in So. Cal! Ducks won on strong play and the Kings could not pass the puck to be effective and lost. As for the event, who in the production group thought KISS was the appropriate band for this event? They were not. I would have rather heard Aloe Blacc sing his hit song or two then listen to some has been rock band. Also for an event sponsored by Coors light, I had a hard time finding a Coors. Bud was everywhere. I did enjoy my Dodger Dog in January, that was sort of a treat. They should do this again in a couple of years and let the Ducks host the event then maybe in 4-6 years come back to So. Cal and maybe even try it at the Rose Bowl since they tear the grass out after the end of the Rose Bowl game, so nothing to damage there.

The event was set up really well. I think they did the best they could to get everyone to see the game from their seats. We were definitely pleased with our seats! I'm disappointed that the NHL disallowed expanded service to Union Station on the Dodger shuttles; it was an irritation that left fans feeling disrespected at the end of a good event. Additionally, it was reported that there would be a marginal refund on lower reserve tickets, so I purchased mine (of course the day before the new Ticketmaster code came out) and expected to hear more about the credit...but it hasn't ever come up again... All and all a fun experience to witness, regardless if your team won or lost.

I would absolutely attend a Stadium series event again - I grew up in Canada so I'm an avid hockey fan and I loved that we had this event in my city! Even as a Kings fan I'd say Angel stadium would be a better venue - for traffic flow and parking access. The game is the important part and it was a riot. As a kid who played hockey outside all winter, it was super nostalgic and so much fun to see the teams outdoors. KISS was brilliant. On the downside, the event planning and execution was not great. Five for Fighting we LOVE but not a good choice for a hockey game! Lots of sound issues with whoever was running the videotron as well - interrupted game and KISS performance more than once. And the beach volleyball was just silly.

Would only recommend this event by telling people not to sit in the outfield at all, even the highest point in the outfield.... We walked to the very top and still couldn't see anything... $150.00 for each ticket to sit in the out field and watch the game on the monitor. Horrible view.could only see the tops of the players heads

The atmosphere was electric at Dodger Stadium with the everyone anticipating the start of a night in history. Ice hockey at Dodger Stadium!!!! The process to purchase our tickets was simple and smooth. All made for a great experience. The only problem of the night was when we got to the stadium and was told our 6 month old grandson needed a ticket too. They explained it was an NHL rule, not Dodger Stadium. At this point we had to spend another $200 for our infant grandson's ticket, a seat no one sat in for the game. This is a outrageous rule.

Tickets were over priced..I totally could have done without that volleyball and people playing frisbee on the grass in front of me...no cool vendors or nhl gear...it was a disappointment for what I paid. And the fan zone pregame in parking lot was weak too. How are you going to make it that small when your expecting 50,000?

Dodger Stadium failed at making this event enjoyable for most attendees. Running out of food and beer when ticket holders had paid such a premium for the event. It was very unfortunate. The parking lot situation was not sufficient either for the amount of people expected and the schedule of events was not available to most after the parking lot filled up.

Not enough beer, concessions, no hard alcohol, really long lines, (except for the women's restrooms, never waited there) needs to be better organized. Fan fest was o.k. Still, overall, really fun, in spite of really expensive tickets and merchandise.

Given the ticket prices and poor sight lines, the game was just OK. If it wasn't for the Jumbo-tron TV, I doubt anyone would have known what was occurring on the ice. The Pregame entertainment of KISS was also just OK. Four songs doesn't transmit to a crowd who barely cared.

Totally disorganized event. Still trying to figure out what volleyball and yoga have to do with hockey. Our seats sucked as we could see half the rink and the jumbotron was blocked my the NHL network's stand. Couldn't see kiss performance as the stand was blocking our view of the stage as well. Totally over priced tickets and we could not see anything. Spent the game standing elsewhere while having to carry my 8 year old son so he could see.i understood the view of the rink was not going to be that good and was relying on the jumbotron which again was blocked. This event was truly about making money and not for the enjoyment of the fans.

I attended the Winter Classic at Nats Stadium 3 years ago and loved every moment of it. That game was during the day. The Navy Marine stadium game was different. Under the lights it created a glare off the ice which made following the play and puck a little more difficult...maybe the Leafs wearing all white didn't help. The public address system was horrible. I couldn't understand half of what was being said. Other than that the U.S. Navy did a great job. The aircraft carrier deck on the field, the Midshipmen marching out, the National Anthems, the Navy bands, recognition of the Navy hockey teams, all GREAT. The jet flyover was disappointing....I couldn't see it from my seat. If the jet had flown right down the middle of the stadium I would have seen it. As it turns out it flew slightly behind me and I couldn't see it past the overhang above.

This venue was an excellent place to have the NHL stadium series. I was excited to have both the Men's Olympic Curling Team and the Women's Olympic Hockey team present for their gold medal presentations. The Stadium's presentation was memorable with the both the American military and Canadian military performing for their respective teams. The power outage (still not explained to us) was a little bit of a problem with the cold weather. However, the view was perfect for the game. You could hear the puck being hit. There was one issue of criticism that I have to mention, as it was after the game. While there were parking attendants to guide us into the stadium by the NHL, there were no parking attendants after the game, so I had to wait in my car for 30 minutes before I could simply pull out of the lot.

The tickets were section 31 D3 and 4 and were terrible. The beginning was good with Pipers and introductions of teams. But our seats were obstructed view so you can only see the players from the waist up. We spent the whole game watching the TV. We finally left at end of second period. Who sells obstructed view seats for $145 each and does not tell you?

Pittsburgh is a very slow city. Unlike Philadelphia it seemed to lack that luster, that stage feel going into an Event such as this. It only hit me when physically walking to the game that this was going to be a great time. I guess everyone feels different but with that said. People spent alot of money to attend this event only to be disappointed with how the event was handled and what perks came with this "supposed" once in a lifetime game. Number 1, its BS that nothing came with our very expensive tickets. I got two tickets and a game day map, whoopdy dooo. For the winter classic I received a poster, a padded seat and a program included in my purchase. Since the NHL is so flipping greedy they have just sucked the nostalgia right out of this outdoor event. It felt watered down and not consumer friendly. Secondly, my wife had to dispose of her $200 purse prior to entry. Stated at entry, was only clear plastic bags would be accepted. Not once did the website, ticketmaster or the NHL stress that information. My wife was upset. Thirdly, staffing. Heinz Field dropped the ball completely. Seeing staff, was like seeing ghosts. Its took forever to get food and drinks as well as Event Staff when a fight between 8 Pitt fans broke out over seating arrangements. In Philly they all would have been thrown out and staff response is like lightining. My wife watched this fight go on and on. Putting her and other fans at risk. All in all, beautiful field, understaffed, fans not well enough informed and expensive tickets with nothing to show for. But I enjoyed myself

This was just amazing. Cold! But still well worth the experience to watch an NHL hockey game outside. My only complaint was the lack of "hockey game etiquette". When the puck is in play .... keep your butt seated. I missed the second goal because of people leaving from my row. If you are a true hockey fan and have ever been to a game you know how to act. Those on staff at Heinz Field should've enforced that as well. But again people were able to come and go as they pleased. That was the only thing that could've been better. Besides being warmer which no one had any control over.

This game and overall experience was great! If I had to point out one negative, that would be that the wind blew 30+ mph all night at my seats in section 527, but I knew what tickets I bought and wasn't too upset. I'm going to share my favorite moment in this section because I want to have enough characters to tell the story. This moment happened before the NBC broadcast. Sid and Giroux were standing at center ice, eager for the puck drop, staring each other down. Then "Renegade" by Styx came playing over the Speakers. This stood out to me as a surreal moment in the night that unless you were there, you didn't get to experience.

I bought these tickets at face value assuming they would sell out. They did not. In fact, I could have bought tickets the day of the game for half of what I paid. The "State of Hockey" should lose that title. The stadium was "filled" with empty seats. I'm not only bitter because the Hawks played like garbage, but the sound system for Cheap Trick and Soul Asylum was terrible. Cheap Trick played a whole song without the lead guitar on and half of that same song, it was only backup vocals. Microphones, announcements, and other audio features played over the stadium speakers cut in and out and also skipped if it was recorded. The weather was perfect for a game like this, but the local fans didn't show up and the features besides the game were poor. TCF Bank stadium has been poor for the Vikings the past 2 years, and now it was also poor for the outdoor hockey games. Getting in the door is a hassle, there are no good beers except one hidden stand, and the other crap beers are too expensive. There's only one level of concessions so the line to get anything takes an entire 18 minute intermission and then some.

They did a good job organizing all the events, for that amount t of people. Although they ran out of beer & it was actually visually tough to watch the game from centerfield bleachers. the venue was perfect, the crowd great. An iconic stadium, 60 degree+ weather, KISS, 5 for fighting, Jordin Sparks, the Great One and oh yes HOCKEY! even with a penalty shot. My daughter went to the game next day in NYC and lets say i got to hold it over her that my game was definitely COOLER but warmer in temp! i would have liked to see more close ups of the players on the jumbotron as rink far away but it was great fun One downside is that after the game- the usual taxis did not arrive, as they would after a Dodger's game and many waited more than 1.5 hours to even see a taxi drive up. the only blemish to a fabulous night

Nice seats nice atmosphere ! Would go again, besides the kings not winning , the first ever outdoor dodger stadium classic was well worth the price tag .

It was neat being a part of history but, I'm a hockey nut and should have purchased upper level seats so I could have seen the game. A lot going on, was a little distracting. KISS got edited during their performance for trying to sell their football team. DOWNERS: No concessions (Dodger-Dogs) after 2nd intermission. They ran out of everything. The Dodger "Express" shuttle to Union Station was a JOKE. Thankfully Amtrak held the train for the Orange County Ducks and Kings fans. I don't think it was planned out very well. Again, it was COOL being a part of NHL History and so glad to was not 17 degrees and snowing!!! Been there, done that!

I wasn't sure what to expect other than wishing for good weather. Even though it was windy, it was great to be outside watching a hockey game and experiencing the local influences. Will do this again.

This stadium was not ready for this amount of people. We arrived an hour before the game started, waited in line for 20 minutes to get food just to be told they were out of half of the menu when we got up to order. Finally figured something out to order and then the credit card machines weren't working so it took another 10 minutes to pay. Ok fine, no problem, the game hasn't started yet. After the 1st period we went to one of the merchandise stands to get some items to commemorate this once in a lifetime event and missed THE ENTIRE SECOND PERIOD because the line took FOREVER to move. The line wasn't that long and when we heard the 2nd period starting, we didn't want to leave the line since we had already invested 20+ minutes of our time standing there. Finally get to the front of the line after an hour of waiting in line and the hats that we wanted (that were there when we first got in line) were no longer there. Quickly picked a t-shirt out of frustration of missing a third of the game and got back to our seats just in time for the 3rd period to start. Halfway through the 3rd period a few of the lights went out (plenty of lights were on to see perfectly fine) but they wouldn't restart the game. At this point we are so frustrated and freezing cold so we left. We paid $1,000+ for this trip only to see half the game due to the poor preparation of the venue, extremely disappointed.

LOVED the event! Fun outdoor game, with a great display of fireworks, flyover and all ever time displays during the game. My only issue was finding a good place to find an Uber/Lyft after the game. Perhaps having a designated area for Uber s and Lyfts to be waiting after would ve helped.

Was a long time dream to do an NHL stadium series. Doing so at Navy Marine Corps Stadium was special. I am retired military AND I didn t have to watch from a 400 level seat like most venues.

The 2018 NHL Stadium Series was a hug success for the city of Annapolis and Naval Academy. The NHL did a great job with building the air craft carrier hockey rink and venue. The Pre Game Tailgate Fest was a big hit. I was disappointed that the US Women Hockey team did not walk an "appreciation lap" around the stadium to give all fans an opportunity to see them instead of just standing at the stadium tunnel entrance area for the VIP guests. The Ticketmaster Pre-Sale tickets stubs were plain and generic. Whereas for the fans who purchased their tickets during the general sale many received a very beautiful 2018 NHL Stadium Series designed tickets. Otherwise the event presentation was well done.

This was a wonderful event. It was more than a hockey game. A chance to show off the Academy and the USA Olympic champions in curling and hockey. A real experience!

This was one of the greatest spectacle sporting events I have ever been to. Every detail was covered. The rink on top off an aircraft carrier, the F-18 ready to launch, beware of jet blast, rotor wash and flying pucks, F/A-18 flyover, the tie to star spangled banner being penned by Francis Scott Key during the attack on Fort McHenry during the war of 1812 and later adopted as the national anthem, coincidently on the same day, March 3rd, 1931. The US gold metal men s curling team delivering the game puck atop a curling stone which stopped exactly at center ice, the women s gold metal hockey team. Fireworks, a 15 minute power outage with 10 minutes left in the game where the 29,514 fans in attendance turned on there cell phone lights and sang and danced to keep warm while waiting for the lights to come back on. The Caps had the game well in hand but nobody left because it was such a great event to be part of.

While they did a lovely job with the look of an aircraft carrier that the rink was resting on, and it was great to see the Olympic gold medal winners, curling and hockey, and some nice small scale fire works, the game itself was lackluster. Even though I was sitting higher and was in the second row with no one in front o me, the view was poor. The stadium did not lend itself to hosting a hockey game with boards. And, while it was nice to host the navy bands from both the US (Naval academy) and Canada, it would have been nice to have a name playing as well as the tickets were quite expensive. the seats were bench seating with backs. The game itself was eh and the ice looked slow as the puck oftentimes appeared to stop mid slide. Nice attempt but not worth the price and having been to three other NHL outdoor games, this was sub par

Had a awesome time. Loved all the outdoor activities outside of TCF Stadium. Would of been nice if the merchandise tent was a little bigger. Definitely felt super crowed in there. Loved both games. NHL did a great job with the fireworks, airplanes overhead, Cheap Trix and overall presentation of the games. On top of all that, the Wild killed it! Just wish every ticket had the cool design on it like I saw on some tickets. I paid a lot of money and they could of at least of made the tickets look the same or have a cool design instead of a traditional Ticketmaster ticket design. Overall, loved both days and had a ton of fun!

Awful. Brutal showing by the Blackhawks. 0 effort. They should stop agreeing to play in these outdoor games. 1-3.

Watching hockey outdoors like the day it was born, was an awesome experience. Especially at your home stadium with your home team winning!! The NHL did a fantastic job of putting together this series!! Had a blast and can't wait for the opportunity to do it again!!

Minnesota was destined to have outdoor hockey. A 2-day weekend watching first the North Star and Blackhawk alumni and then the Wild and Blackhawks play was a dream come true. Throw in a mini concert of Soul Asylum and Cheap Trick and the weekend was complete! Awesome weekend!

This event was so much fun. They had bands play between periods and it all sounded good. The alumni game was super cute. You could tell the players were just having a good time. There were tons of different mn Wild clothes and souvenirs available for purchase. Overall I loved the event and the atmosphere was awesome.
