D.L. Hughley

Everybody there were some of our favorite comedians. My husband especially wanted to see Eddie Griffin. He was so happy i got the tickets. We really enjoyed ourselves.

Fantastic to see these 4 funny men together. Needed this laughter, thank you for the entertainment will definitely come again.

He was sooo funny, I laughed so hard my sides hurt the next day. At times i laughed so hard I couldn't breathe.

I enjoyed the show and the two acts before DL. However it started about 30 minutes late.

I decided to treat my best friend of 47 years to a comedy show on her birthday this year. We were lucky to get second row pit seats. I've seen brother DL's act on television before but it was amazing to see him live. We laughed for two hours with barely a pause. The outstanding work of the MC (Freddy? I think) in between acts definitely held his own and his seasoned timing proved his 30+ years in the game. The sleeper of the night was Mr. Charlie Murphy. Everyone knows his sibling Eddie but it was my first time catching his act and boy, was I blown away. I thought I was sitting in front of my favorite comedian, Dick Gregory for a moment there. I wanted to give him a standing ovation the entire ACT. Hats off to him for dealing with current issues, the truth and the ability to keep us laughing and thinking at the same time. I definitely will catch his act again, I was totally blown away.

D.L. Was absolutely perfect. Charlie Murphy started out ok but went into more like a discussion about social events and became informative. Didn't care for that

The sound wasn't great when the opener was on stage and when Eddie Griffin came out. My seat was close enough to the stage I could still hear what he was saying. Someone eventually fixed the sound. Eddie Griffin was pretty funny! DL had a great set, all well. I've been laughing with the both of them for years! I did not like the phone nazis! They were ridiculous. If anyone was simply checking the time on their phone, the phone nazis were right there to harass them. That was the biggest dislike I had about the show.

Me and husband on a date nite to this show. It was great. But Gary Owen part was too short. But it was a good show.

I saw D.L. Hughley when he cam to Raleigh and he was hilarious! He tells the truth and he's funny, what is better than that?! His comedy is political, but that's what makes him great because he's "hipping" us to the game of the political world as he understands it.

Getting in the venue was fast and easy. The venue stewards are always helpful in finding our seats! Good place to attend events!!!

Overall I loved the show, the topics and the jokes. The material was new/relative to today s news topics which I appreciate.

I have seen these comedians multiple times and each time is great. George sets the energy off by leading and Cedric closes. Eddie was added this year and true to form provides great entertainment and had new material from when I saw him 6 months ago. Great show!

This show was put together nicely. It was great combination of the old school comedians who are still on top of the game. The show started 30 minutes late but i still gave it 5 stars for the quality of the acts.

DL drank some sort of kool-aide throughout his performance and he was off beat the whole time. Disappointing that he took no time to bring some original material to us. Most of what he said has already been said on his radio show. How can that be, given all the things going on in the world that he could have pulled material from? Seems like he was just too lazy and just wanted to make some money. I do not suggest anyone else attend any more of his upcoming comedy shows until he gets his act together. DL didn't even stay on stage as long as the comedians who opened for him. He either needs new writers or needs to stay away from that kool-aid! Red Grant was a waste of time, doing that same old tired routine about getting a blow job and having sex with a woman on her period. Gary Owen is new to me and I did enjoy his range of subject matter and his ability to connect with the audience. And he host, Coco did a lot of trashy talk about having sex with old men and young men. As the home town girl of the evening, she could have been more thoughtful and sensitive to the issues Detroiters are dealing with that could have been a source of comedic relief. In all, the show was a waste of money and time!

DL drank some sort of kool-aide during his entire performance. His material was mostly repeats of what's already been said on his radio show. No originality. DL even stooped so low as to tell that old joke where the wife says, "I can't have sex tonight because I have a GYN appointment in the morning, and the husband says, "Do you have a dentist appointment too?" That joke is as old as time and I can't believe DL had to draw on someone else's old material. His interaction with the front row audience was the only time the brilliance of his impromptu comedic genius came through. But in the midst of doing that, he suddenly announced, "Happy New Year and Goodnight" He clearly had not prepared for this appearance and it seemed like he just gave up trying! The audience was startled and stayed in their seats because they couldn't believe that was all DL had to give! He didn't even stay on stage as long as Red Grant and Gary Owen before him had! So while everyone was sitting around looking bewildered about whether the show was actually over, me and a few other people left the theater to get ahead a head start on the crowd. DL, you're better than that! l don't know what was in that kool-aide you were drinking, but you need to leave it alone! Coco didn't fare much better! Seems like she was only prepared for a low life audience who only cares about the organs between their legs. So, she just did a lot of foul talk about having sex with young men and old men. We've heard those jokes from you before, Coco!. This is your home town and that was all you had to bring us? And Red Grant had nothing new to say either. How many times have we seen him talk about blow jobs, having sex with women on their period and kick his short legs out in some sort of orgasmic pretense? The only person that gave his best to the audience was Gary Owen. I have not seen him before and I was impressed with his range of subjects and his ability to connect to the audience. As far as I know, this could have all been repeat material for him as well, but I found him refreshing. My overall comment about this raggedy show is, "I want my money back!"

Gary Owens was on his "A" game. It is new material and the presentation on point. For us, he carried the show but the overall cost...? Luckily, we went to a downtown spot before hand so the night was still enjoyable.

My husband was very uncomfortable in the seats. Gary and Red were hilarious but DL used a lot of his same jokes from his radio show.

Comedy show was amazing. However the seats are very small. And I'm not a large person. I sat on the main floor in row M. View was obstructed by a large woman with large hair however there was an empty seat and the people next to me were willing to move down a seat so that I and my daughter could have a better View. I would recommend that they change the seating so that each row is on an incline. Otherwise, I had an amazing time and the show was wonderful!

The first time I ve seen him, he really gave a great show and stayed on stage longer then most comedians.

D.L.'s comedy tour was awesome. My sister and I enjoyed the entire event and can't wait for D.L. to come back to North Charleston!!

DL had two openings acts. Both were great. Good audience back and forth. Esp. the first guy. DL was sharp of wit. Politically INcorrect, as needed. Loved the whole show. Sorry I can't remember the opening act's name.

I really like going to comedy shows this one was alright to me the first comedian was the best of them all he was really funny the second guy was just okay talked a lot about himself and not really telling good jokes and DL Hughley was just okay to me, I like him as a spokesperson and all that and I enjoy his show but comedy he needs some funny material, a lot of stuff was just a bunch of talk and every now and then he will say something to someone in the audience which was a little funny but his whole skit did not have me laughing not trying to say anything too bad about it but just keeping it real not saying I won't attend another one to see if it improved but this one was just okay but if I could get that first guys name I'd love to see him again as a headliner he was that good, this show did not sell out by no means it was less than half-full plenty of open seats in the orchestra area maybe he needs to put out more advertisement next time but overall it was a night out for me and the hubby

The show was very entertaining and definitely for a mature audience. All the show comics were very good and I hope more comedy shows like this will come to the Charleston area.

This was the first tour as you can tell things weren t quite together but for what it was worth and the money spent it was pretty good and plenty of laughs\u2014wasn t feeling the Puerto Rican comedic as he just was not funny at all but of course DL was and the other guy too.

The show was great. They did as expected. Pushed the envelope and made people feel uncomfortable. But the material was hilarious. Definitely would see them again. They were a perfect pair together.

the NYCB Theatre at Westbury is one of my favorite venues. Every seat is a great seat and it's only 15 minutes from my home! DL and Charlie brought the funnies. They captured the personal, the current events and politics in a truthful storytelling fashion. DL has a machine gun style of telling jokes that I love. He reminds me of Flip Wilson whenever he speaks like a woman. Charlie has more of a traditional style of comedy that I enjoyed also. Peace and Continued Blessings to you both!

The show was great. D.L Hughley performance to me was too short. For a headline he should have performed a little longer. Charlie Murphy was great an also the host was really funny!!!

This guy is relevant, witty and on the mark with his comedic talent. I was in the audience front row and I always speculated if the people the comedians interact with are part of the show. Well that theory is put to rest DL approached me several times and I never have so much as seen him anywhere but television. He worked me and several others into a totally adlibbed skit. Genius Comedian. Worth seeing over and over.

This was the funniest comedy show i have been to and i go to AC comedy Fest every year and DL all by himself is the absolute best..! When he comes back to the City, i will be there! And the guy before him wasn't bad either.. Lord Jazar! hahah!

I have been a fan of D.L. Hughley for years. Watched his sitcom on primetime tv and laughed hard each time. Saw him emerge on the Kings of Comedy and saw him hold his own with three other big names. He is truly a headliner now.

Great seat , good vibe . If you didn't go. You should of ....... Alot of single lady there. Really stay home again next time ,when the brother come back . I'm going to have a field day ....thanks D L ... Hurry back soon !

Had a blast! The entire show was funny from the pre- DL comedians to DL himself. Mix of old and new hilarious material and genre. Can't wait until the black & brown comedy tour hits my area.

Honestly I think I bought tickets to DL Hughely's brown and black tour but I was in no way disappointedly, he was hilarious and so were the other two comedians. I wasn't a huge fan but I am now.

I LMAO for nearly 2 hours straight. DL showed why he's a king of comedy. I've loved DL since I first saw him on Def Comedy Jam. Dude had me in stitches.

Me and my Husband really enjoyed our selves. We laughed s O hard we couldn't talk after the show.. And the comics that came on before him was a bonus because they were funny as well..

I heard good things about D.L. Hugley and had seen the Kings of Comedy movie, so I felt good going into the concert. I was not disappointed at all. At one point I had to hold my stomach from laughter. I went with three other friends that all felt the same way at the end of the evening.
