Myself and my Seven year old son were very well entertained. I appreciated the family style in which it was presented, and the simple analogies and explanations which helped the younger attendees to comprehend what was occurring.

Brain candy live was an awesome experience. I ve been a Vsauce fan pretty much since it started and also have enjoyed watching Mythbusters. It was a whole lotta fun seeing Adam and Michael in person and meeting them, as I was chosen to go on stage! Highly recommend, they do some really cool stuff, will always remember this night!

Full of joy and play and exuberant curiosity. The best art and science see the world with a child's eyes. If only more adults still had access to the wonder and mystery of seeing the world as it is. Who needs religion? Actual truth is astounding and beautiful.

Pretty anticlimactic, but I guess should have been expected. How can you make a show about science interesting for little kids and adults at the same time. Was expecting a little more.

My kids, ages 10 and 12.--who are Mythbusters fans, really loved it. I don't think it's for kids under 8 though because the concepts were a little complex.

Less than impressive. Seemed very disorganized. They forgot to set up experiments, ran out of things and a couple things didn't work...they couldn't even get the air gun to shoot a tshirt into the crowd to work. Their biggest experiment was an epic fail...the hair dryer powered hover craft. The most exciting part, which wasn't very exciting, was them shooting a trash can full of ping pong balls into the crowd. All in all a pretty lame experience. Would not waste the money or time.

I was really hoping for something akin to a science-based magic show - where things were done to provide some fascination with science & technology, etc. But it was not. The entire show was loosely about air and its interactions with things, had little "snap" or "pizzaz." It felt hokey. I went based on knowing a bit about Jamie & Michael, and hoping some of the Mythbustes and VSauce things would come together nicely as a treat. Instead... bleah. I'm an engineer. This show was not for me. My kids might've liked this show, or perhaps "fanbois" I wouldn't recommend it.

If you want to hear a long story about how the parents didn't get along and the father slept in the basement with the argon gas coming up out of the ground (someone did shout out a correction to let them know it"s radon gas not argon). If you want to hear a long story about college days and failing to be able to build a prop. If you want to see failed experiments that didn't work,( hover board wouldn't take off, water didn't boil because someone forgot to plug in the electric coffee pot, smoke machine didn't work every time). Then this show is for you, not me. Most of the show dealt with air, air movement and boring stories, I wasn't impressed.

These two guys are very entertaining, but the science and the wows during the show are very very forgettable. I am paying $50 a ticket, I want to see something that I have never seen before. The experiments done on stage were elementary. This show would be great for elementary or middle schoolers but not much else and not worth $50.

This is a great event for kids. I believe that adults who are likely to attend this type of event are scientifically literate and, therefore, may not be entertained by this show. I decided to attend based, in part, by the time of the event. 7 pm on a school night implies a show geared towards adults. It was a kids show. Either market it as a kids' show (with kid/family/school friendly show times) or make the show a little more rigorous for scientifically literate adults.

My 13 yo son knew about the event from YouTube and asked for tickets. I'm so glad I splurged for them. He loved every nerdy minute of it! I wasn't sure what to expect but it was basically a comedy/magic show based on real science. Adam and Michael are funny, the show is well written and of course, educational. As a 48 yo, some of it was a little too scripted / slow and other times the scientific content or youtube jokes went over my head. People 6-86 yo enjoyed it and I would recommend it for anyone looking to geek out on science.

My wife and I had a great time at Adam and Michael's show. She is a bit "physics-challenged" but enjoyed the demos, the jokes, the audience participation and just may have learned a thing or two. The unexpected bonus was a little sample of what happens when nerds lose their inhibitions. I have never before seen such dance moves. Bring the kids! The experiments were fantastic!! The level of energy displayed by Adam and Michael and knowledge was astounding!! Having small kids there, the break in between was much longer than they said it would be, and the second half where they started with about 20-30 mins of answering tweets was not necessary and not what I paid for. That was a very disappointing part of the show. Would have loved more experiments that kept the kids interested the entire time!

Very disappointing - - perhaps kids enjoyed but we were 2 adults that left at intermission. The only real highlight was them sending out a big smoke ring. Brain Candy Live is simply the best. Adam and Michael are truly warm, caring people. They interact with the audience and are genuinely into everything they are demonstrating. There was a couple epic fails during the show but that just proved they are constantly coming up with new ideas...some work some don't. We did the meet and greet and they were down to earth and took time with each guest during the photo ops. My son who has ADD was all up in Adam's face and th man laughed and talked with him. Not one pretense of celebrity. In a world of Spaceys and Weinsteins, Adam and Michael are great male role models in the public eye.

I've been a fan of Adam's for years....since the beginning of Mythbusters. However, the road show didn't work for me. It was about very basic physics and really didn't hit the "mythbusters" level that I had come to expect. The failure of the leaf blowers sort of did me in. Again, very disappointed....really liked him a lot.

I should have known based on the name "brain candy" that this is a science show aimed at children. I'm a huge fan of Michael Stevens and Michael Savage, but this event seems to be mostly a Michael Savage creation. The "science" component consisted of a few insubstantial tricks that lacked the sophistication I had expected of a Michael Stevens production. Kids will be amazed and certainly enjoy the cheezy antics and punny jokes far more than I did.

I love these two personalities so it was an instant buy to see both live together. I loved the show and it was lots of fun. There were some really neat experiments and the chemistry on stage, as well as the production and dialogue, was great. However my only complaints would be that the science they covered was pretty simple, a decently large portion of the show was dedicated to a live Twitter Q&A which was interesting but unexpected, and few of the set pieces were truly as jaw dropping as I hoped.

The show was fairly entertaining and Adam is so real and likable. I'm not familiar with his new partner who was a little long winded on the scientific explanations. There were some definite lulls between bits where the 2 danced around the stage in the dark - that could be improved. We did really like the small, medium and extra large air cannons as well as the ping pong ball shooters. Even though I'm not on Twitter, I liked the use of it for audience questions. It was much more efficient that someone running around the audience with a microphone. Overall the show was less polished that Adam's Mythbuster's show but we liked it.

Didn't really know what to expect coming to this show, but I'm very glad my boyfriend and I did! We are both huge fans of Michael and Adam, so we knew this was going to be a pretty great time, and it was. This wasn't just all do at home science projects, this was a fun learning experience, and we saw some things we've never seen before. We were amazed at how many kids were actually there, but it made the program a lot more fun, seeing children learning new things for the first time. The most rewarding part of this show was that they actually talked and interacted with the audience, having volunteers come up for experiments, real questions being answered, and Adam and Michael telling us about their past lives in science.

Firstly, I love Adam and Michael; I can't get enough of Tested and Vsauce. That said, I was very disappointed by how simplistic the show was. I can sympathize with them in how hard it must be to create a hands-on demonstration-based stage show that appeals to a wide age range, but whether or not my expectations were reasonable, I definitely expected much more depth and profundity than an elementary/freshmen level presentation. There was little that even approached the depth/detail of a Tested video or the depth/complexity of a Vsauce video. There was an off-hand comparison made near the start of the show to TED Talks, but it's clear that TED Talks (or Vsauce videos) delve orders of magnitude deeper into ideas/issues via PowerPoint-style slides than a visual hands-on demonstration-based stage show like this allows. Ultimately, there was little I learned from this show that I imagine your average adult fan of either of them (of which I unabashedly count myself) wouldn't already know and have seen at least a video demonstration of before. The only truly positive thing I can take away from this is getting to see Adam and Michael in-person. As someone who watches YouTube entirely in place of TV, this is the first time I've ever seen anyone in-person that I first saw online (or on a screen, for that matter). Overall, I view this as a very entertaining/engaging and science-promoting kids' show. For someone older (29, in my case) who's even remotely interested in science-based content, this show is a disappointment.

great evening, with many fun moments, but more family friendly than I'd liked and tailored to a broader, general audience than I expected. But great nonetheless.

Educational and incredibly fun- these guys are high energy and amazing- my 14 year old is a science kid and he was still buzzing about it the next day- not only was it fun (and that's coming from me who is not a science person) but I really appreciated that they took the time to answer audience questions and had some inspiring words that really resonated with my son. Just phenomenal. Thanks Adam and Michael!

Was expecting a more extravagant show. Good for kids, dull for adults. Not as many experiments as I would have liked. Repetitive throughout. Would be better suited in school assemblies rather than high priced tickets.

I have loved Adam since I was a teenager, and seeing him in person was just as amazing as I hoped. Adding Michael was a super plus!

This show was geared towards kids and they liked it. Somewhat entertaining but the "science" information was at middle school level at most. The performers should have a meet and greet to justify the cost of tickets. Robinson Center was a disappointment as far as seating. With the remodeling they should have raised the graduated seating. The view of center stage was completely blocked by the person in front of me.

This was an amazing show. If you are a fan of Mythbusters, Tested, or Vsauce then you need to go. If you enjoy science and jokes then book your tickets now.

I can't quite put my finger on it but I was expecting a bit more wow from this show when I first saw the advert.

This show was so much fun!! As adults we didn't really learn anything new, but the demonstrations were still awesome to watch and the guys' humor made it that much better. If you love all things Adam Savage and Mythbusters and science (as we do), then you will love this. (I do have to spoil it though and mention they were not allowed to use explosives on the indoor stage.) Highly, highly recommend it!!

Overall it was a very fun show and I love the science behind it all still trying to keep it basic for young audience but deep enough for mature audience wish it had more content though and the Majestic Theatre did not allow for justice with VIP passes was stuck in the back for meet and greet and terrible seating

I went to this not quite knowing what to expect and I was quite surprised at it all, in a good way. Adam and Michael interact with the audience extremely well both individually and as a team. Their show was engaging for adults and children with little downtime, aside from a break in the middle. The quality and length of the show is well worth the price and premium seats so you can be right up front.
