So far this is one of the best shows I've seen! I took my mom who is 70 years young and she was laughing so hard and smiling throughout! This is great for young and old alike! Families and couples! They performance was so perfect and had us at the edge of our seats. The actors/actresses were 100% with their characters. The theatrics and electronics were surreal. Great play!!

I loved everything about the show except the sound. I think the individual voices should be louder and better controlled by the sound tech. When the music played, it was very hard for me to hear the singing unless it was someone with a very strong voice or an ensemble. Otherwise, the sets, cast, and show were fabulous. I am really glad we went.

The cast was so blah and just had no energy. I have been to 9 different Broadway shows and this was by far the most disappointing. The cast was not excited to put on the play at all. I definitely wish I could get my money back.

Having gone to the original Beauty and the Beast production in 1995 at the Schubert Theater and a Networks production at the Pantages in 2011, this was the best. The acting was very sincere and believeable bringing you right into the emotions and plot of the story from the beginning. In some of Networks past productions the acting was overexagerated and some of the actors, though very talented, did not effectively incarnate their character's depth of spirit for which the animated feature is so unique. This group of actors embodied the spirit of the original animated characters so well it was lengendary and a privilage to see. Hilary Maiberger is Belle if ever there was one as well as Darick Pead, the Beast, and all the other actors with their characters. The sets had so much artistic detail, though not like the original broadway in scale, really brought out the idea of beauty within. If ever you see Beauty and the Beast by Networks, the show with Hilary Maiberger, Darick Pead and the rest of the gang is THE highly recommended version to see! You cannot be disappointed but only mesmerized.

Beauty and the Beast was FANTASTIC! I had my 7 year old daughter and my 93 year old grandmother with. They both LOVED IT as did I. The sound effects, costumes, and the sets were outstanding. Absolutely loved it.

Absolutely superb performances by the whole cast. Personal favorites: Gaston, his sidekick, Mrs. Potts and Chip, The Candle and of course Belle and the Beast! This was a Christmas gift for the girls in the family ages 6 to 75! We all loved it and had a wonderful time. We would definitely go again, however would highly recommend staggered seating. 3 of our 6 couldn't see the production for half of the play. People in front and behind us had the same trouble seeing. Staggering the seats would help this problem since we don't have a graduated floor at the La Crosse Center. Can't wait to attend another Broadway production!

The music was beautiful and the singers were amazing - the main characters and the ensemble cast. I took my 3 year old as she loves the movie and all princess things. Was enthralled during the musical numbers but a little antsy during speaking parts - but that is a 3 year old for you. Would have been nice to start a little earlier for the youngsters but we both still had a great time.

I attended with my 10 year old daughter. The show was good, but I had higher expectations and as such was a bit disappointed. Some of the humor in the show was crude. Sound was a bit off at times...maybe mic placement on the actors. Casting could have been better - Belle had a deep/rough voice and the Beast was only a few inches taller than Belle - hardly enormous or intimidating. The actors that portrayed Gaston and Lumiere were PHENOMENAL! Show is long...almost 3 hours including intermission. In the future, I would pay more and travel to see this show in a different venue such as the Majestic Theatre in San Antonio, TX. Other guests at the Selena Auditorium did not seem to know proper etiquette for a Broadway show - they were loud, on cell phones (which then prompted ushers to come and shine lights on them), arriving late, coming in and out of aisles, etc.

We had a fantastic time at this show. The actors performed their hearts out, and the chemistry between the cast was contagious. Everyone had a lot of fun and I would definitely recommend this show. There is a lot more comedy than the Disney film, and it adapts perfectly for the stage. Expect to laugh and have a great time. The souvenirs are reasonably priced as well.

I took my teenage daughter who loves Disney, and we both really enjoyed the show. Her High School is performing Beauty and the Beast as their musical this year and several of the other students attended as well. After the show we all waited for the cast and when they came out they were all very friendly and excited to talk to all of the kids that would be taking part in the musical. What a great experience for these kids!

We were in the front section near the stage in row E and let me tell you - it was perfect. Took my 5 year old cousin and a friend and we all thought the play was fantastic. The theater provides booster seats for small children but they ran out of them so make sure you grab one as fast as you can when you go. There was amazing puppetry, dancing, singing, lights and special effects. The orchestra was just fantastic! I would recommend this show to any Disney fan out there. It truly is remarkable.

The show was excellent. We had a family night out and enjoyed the show tremendously. We got there a little early and parking was very easy on a Sunday afternoon. The show was great. The audience was involved and enjoyed the show. I would recommend it highly. This show makes me want to go see more plays at the Civic Center. The ticket addon charges dissuade me more however. Since I was a little girl, Beauty and the Beast has always been my favorite. My boyfriend and I paid around $250 for wonderful seats in the orchestra section. There were definitely good parts of the play like Mrs. Potts and Lumiere. However, the main character Belle was nothing extraordinary. I could think of 4-5 people I know personally that would have performed much better and fit the character description better than the Belle who was cast. Additionally the sets were poorly made and they even used fake sounds for the beast. Also, one of the worst parts was that they made a Disney fairy tale story corrupt with inappropriate attire (completely unnecessary) for certain characters like the forks and spoons in "Be Our Guest" and made sexual innuendos throughout the script. I was not pleased with the director's alterations, and I would suggest seeing Phantom of the Opera, Wicked, or Lion King instead.

I took my two granddaughters ages 4 and 6 to see this play and it was wonderful. The costumes, music, set design and choreography were some of the best I have seen. I thought it would just be a kids play, but I enjoyed it too. The 4 year old was a little squirmy, but the 6 year old was captivated and engaged. She asked us if the people were real! Kids these days are so used to movies, it is good broaden their experiences and see live theater. I highly recommend this production.

Gaston was my favorite! He stole the show and I want to see it again just to see him. He really did a perfect job and I like him better than the guest gone on the beauty in the beast movie. His sidekick was funny and good too. Belle the beast we're good. I think I would've liked to of seen the beast be more fearsome an angry in the beginning. The guy who played the candle was also really fantastic.

Engaging and delightful, I didn't want it to end! The music was fabulous and dance numbers so lively and beautifully choreographed that the audience was "all in." The main characters were perfectly cast; so well fit to the role and performed their songs to perfection. I was seated next to children - we were all so enthralled no one made a peep or got fussy. The music was so much louder than the singers, it was all but impossible to hear anything being sung. The main cast were mostly good but that was destroyed by the music being so very much louder. The sets were fine. But the back up dancers/singers were pretty bad. My eyes get getting drawn to one dancer who seemed to be counting out the steps with his mouth as he did them. On the whole, I was very disappointed with this production.

The actors and quality of the show were phenomenal! My daughter simply loved the show. The singing ability of the performers was amazing as was the shows attention to the detail of the movie. My only concerns were with the floor seating. We were in row JJ which should have been excellent seats. Unfortunately, all of the floor seats at the Cross Center are one one level; my daughter was simply unable to see over the heads of the adults in the rows in front of us. Other children surrounding us had the same problem and many moved to empty balcony seats. I held my 8 year old on my lap for the entire performance...very uncomfortable. I had no choice if i wanted her to see. I would encourage the center to build some sort of platform for floor seats that would eliminate this problem. I know that unless we are in the front row, i will never buy floor seats again as you just cant see. One other suggestion would be for the stars to come to the hallway to greet the kids after the performance. They do this at the Maine Center for the Arts for all performances, its a wonderful addition to the experience.

Unfortunately, I misread the time for show and arrived late, which is something I never do. Ushers could have been more helpful than they were given the fact that it was very dark and I have a vision problem. Notwithstanding this other than perfect start, the show was wonderful. My two granddaughters and I attend a show every year. It is their Christmas gift from me. She loved Belle, of course and the costumes were so sparkly, which she pointed out over and over. This production was fantastic, from the set, to the costumes, to the acting and singing! My 4 1/2 yr. old granddaughter was mesmerized. We attended the 6:30 show on a Sunday night, this time was a little late for her. She became very tired near the end and was fighting to stay awake at 9:10pm. At times she was a tiny bit frightened by the darkness and loud music/banging/wolves in the forest but was perfectly fine overall! I highly recommend this show to introduce your kids to live productions! If you have a small child, get the booster seat in the coat check area...perfect to allow them to see the stage.

I've been to theatre performances all over the world and this production compared quite well. The stage added some limitations to the presentation, but the production crew and cast made them seem very minor. This was something I looked forward to as I brought my 5 year-old grand daughter for her very first on-stage musical. It held her attention with nary a squirm. Loved the experience and atmosphere.

This was an excellent show. I did not expect it to be so big and high-budget looking. With the exception of the prince, the casting was almost perfect. From Lumiere to Belle's dad to Mrs. Potts, everyone looked the part. The show-stealer, however, was Gaston. Tall and smug, the actor portrayed the character perfectly, and when he was off stage you'd be waiting for him to come back on. The three girls who adore Gaston were also fantastic. The glaring miscasting was the prince, and this is an important role because the whole story is building up to his reveal at the end. But when he finally shows his face, he looks nothing like the handsome animated character. He was short and stocky. Looks aren't everything, but when the other cast members are so spot on, his casting sticks out.

I've seen the show at Disney in Orlando before but this was much better. My 5 and 4 year old granddaughters loved it. The singing was very good. I especially enjoyed Melissa Jones as Babette, wow .

This show was worth the price of the ticket I paid for 3 tickets to sit center stage in orchestra about 15 rows back. Perfect location to watch an awesome show! Unforgettable!

Beauty and the Beast was really, really good. The cast, the music and special effects were awesome! My daughter and I were entertained from the time the show started till the very end we were captivated. Everyone in this show should be very proud of this production! Well done!

I bought some tickets for my wife about 6 months in advance. The buying ticket experience was pretty straight forward. The show was amazing! I could not have asked for anything better. The audio was a little off at the beginning and at the climax of the show (Be our guest Number) but other than that, it was great! The twist on some acts, the jokes, the quarks, the little effects, they were all great!

The play was a little disappointing in that the costumes were lacking the grandness and glitter we were hoping to see in a live play. The solo dance was not as magical as the movie and the grandeur of Belle's meal in "Be our Guest" was also disappointing as there was no large table nor grand props.

Bringing Broadway to Tucson is the most exhilarating experience Tucsonans can experience! The play was engaging and truly beautiful. My only complaint would be that children under 10 should be situated in a kid only area. My mother had her hair played with and the back of my seat was constantly being kicked by little feet. If children are better managed, everyone would then truly enjoy the Broadway experience.

With seats in the balcony, we were somewhat concerned that our grandkids might be somewhat turned off to live theater. But that was certainly not the case. They were enthralled, followed the plot and the songs, and had smiles afterward. The actors were all first rate, could hear every word clearly.

This show was just perfection all the way around! I took my 11 year old daughter, who never even really liked the Disney princess movies, and I wasn't sure how much she would enjoy herself. The show was so exciting and brilliantly done that she still hasn't stopped talking about it. We had an incredible time, and I would highly recommend. Note, the show is more exciting and mature than the movie, and it really is appealing to people of all ages.

My wife and I had seen Beauty and the beast before but this was the first time taking our children. The look on their faces was priceless. We are huge Disney fans and this made our experience even more special. The performers, orchestra, sets and production was outstanding and the performance went off smooth. I would recommend everyone have a chance to see this production.. You won't be disappointed!

This was a wonderful performance, I can't say enough good things about it. The singing, the choreography, all of it was delightful. Beauty and the Beast needs to come back to Tucson more often! The only problem we had was the seats - Too much light from the tech booth, you can see all the screens and all the movement. It was distracting during the quieter moments of the performance.
