DIRTY HEADS IN CONCERT:Dirty Heads have been spreading their California vibes from coast to coast ever since breaking out in 2008 with their infectious reggae-meets-rap jams. Sporting hoodies and grungy long hair, the Orange County, California natives know how to get the party started at their live shows as they tear through catchy hits like "Stand Tall" and "Lay Me Down". Dirty Heads will have fans "Driftin" along as they tour with Pepper in support of their 2014 release Sound of Change. BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:Reggae-rock duo Dirty Heads formed after Jared "Dirty J" Watson and Dustin "Duddy B" Bushnell bonded over their mutual love for rap music at a high school party.

I really enjoy seeing shows in smaller venues, but the sound system was off at the Croc that night. While we could really hear the instruments clearly, the vocals were really distorted. We could see the singers getting frustrated with the sound. Over all good time!

3rd time seeing the Dirty Heads, first time for Echo Movement (very cool, like the chill sound), Ballyhoo! (AWESOME!) and the New Politics (So much energy, rocked the house!). So, all in all I think the opening acts were very good and Dirty Heads had a lot to do to keep up with them. The Dirty Heads didn't disappoint, just ready for some new stuff from them, like I said, it was the 3rd time for me, and well, same old same old, with very few twists.

Amazing show. I have loved The Dirty Heads and New Politics for a while now so it was a no brainer to come see them. Ballyhoo was a surprise to me. I was unaware they were playing until I arrived. I must say that BALLYHOO completely rocked it! They are an awesome band and fit perfectly with this tour. Everyone should pick up a copy of their cd and make time to listen to them.

This was my first time seeing the Dirty Heads. They had lots of energy and made the show a lot of fun. I will definitely go see them the next time they come around. The Stony Pony is also a great venue to catch a show. Real small and intimate.

The show was AWESOME!!! They played a great set. They got the crowd going in the beginning with their more upbeat hip-hop stuff and mixed in their chill reggae in nicely. Even had the crowd involved and up on stage. New Politcs got the crowd going too. Never heard of them before, but great opening act. A lot of energy.

Dirty Heads brings me back to my Southern Cali roots- the vibes, the energy, the lyrics and the members of the band are all amazing. They have that down to earth, it's all good kinda flow that just puts you in a different mindset. The show was awesome and the band totally appreciates their fans. The new Sublime?- if ever there was a band to touch them, they are it.

This was the 2nd time that I went to see the Dirty Heads. 1st time they were an opening act for Sublime w/ Rome. Headlining only made them better. I honestly had such an amazing time, I love them so much! I sang along with every song (besides the new stuff which I CANNOT WAIT FOR) I wish that they played here all the time. I'd go to every show. I plan on going to every concert that they play in this area. I was sad for the night to end!

One of the BEST shows I have ever been fortunate enough to see!!! Great venue, fairly small place but no bad seat in the place! We stood on the upper level looking down on the show...AMAZING! I once snuck on a VIP stage at Ozzfest and the seats still did not compare to where I saw the Dirty Heads!

I saw Dirty Heads open for Sublime with Rome this past summer! They were incredible!! I would highly recommend them!!! Also, the band that is opening for them when they come to Cleveland this year 3/21/2011 (Ballyhoo!) I've seen approximately 8 times and they never disappoint. TONS OF FUN! These two bands together are going to be amazing!!!

I've seen hundreds of concerts in my 40 years on this planet, and this one is in my top 10. Even with the mic malfunctions (2 bad mics? Sorry Duddy, we still love you, but we had fun filling in for ya!) this show was epic! They played a great mix of their classics and the new album sounds GREAT, live! Rome adds great energy, and "Lay Me Down" was a fun sing-along. Loved the "Bag O'Duddys" gag where Rome's band all came out with white wigs and danced like a bunch of tripping oompa-loompas. SO PSYCHED TO HEAR "SLOTH'S REVENGE"!!! Seen them 5 times, hoping to hear it, and when they broke into it, the top of my head almost went spinning off!!! Truly made my year (2014 has been one of the worst yet, and I really needed something like this to remind me what life is really about!) My only regret was not being able to attend Tuesday night, too. :,( THANK YOU, DIRTY HEADS!!!!!

First time at the variety playhouse but second time seeing this awesome band! Venue was small and intimate which meant we got super close to the stage without having to pay an arm and a leg to get there :) The Dirty Heads rock, they sounded awesome and it was one of the best concerts I've been too! This concert was pretty incredible. They played well and with a lot of enthusiasm. you could tell they were as happy as we were to be there. The opening acts were pretty good. Despite the first being quite slow on a ukelele, it actually fit very well with the vibe. The entire concert was phenomenal. Deffinatelly 10/10 would recommend.

Pepper was cool, but The Dirty Heads were the best! This was mine and my boyfriends first concert ever and we were so excited that The Dirty Heads would be our first. I've never fangirled in my life until that night lol We litterally listen to you guys on the daily and when I found out you were coming to vegas I bought tickets like right away. The only sucky part was all the cigarette smoke, i'm allergic so I felt sick after that and my allergies kicked my butt for a week but honestly it was worth it :D Oh and there were soooooo many drunk girls falling on me xD I would LOVE to see you guys again! Bring towels and blankets because it's beach themed and you will get wet! I so wasn't prepared but next time I will.

Start to finish I was on my feet dancing and enjoying every second of my evening with the fine boys of pepper. I did the VIP meet n greet, best decision I've ever made. The venue is fairly new so everything was pristine. Staff was over the top helpful. I can't wait to see them again!!

Aer, a Boston based band, opened and brought some energy to to incoming crowd. I was surprised when Aer pulled out a cover of the Isley Brothers "Shout". Pepper hit the stage with my favorite Summer song from last year, "FKARND", which set the mood for their set. They had all the ladies dancing in the amphitheater and their commentary during their set was hilarious. At one point their was a chick that took off her top revealing a bikini and Pepper stopped and I believe Bret said, "Wait a minute is that a girl in a bikini? Fuck yeah!" Funniest thing though, they start singing the first line of MAGIC!'s song "Rude" and then stop and say, "Nah we're not gonna play that, you don't need radio or MTV, all you need is fans like you!" Once the Dirty Heads took the stage it was pretty dark, even though their was a super moon. Dirty Heads had a good mix of old songs and new songs of their album "Sound of Change". Couple of my favorites they played: "Lay me Down", "Stand Tall", "Medusa", "My Sweet Summer", "Franco Eyed".

The music was incredible! I have seen Pepper quite a few times over the years, but this was my first time seeing The Dirty Heads. Both bands blew it out of the water! My only issue, was the venue. I loved the area and the venue itself, but wasn't too happy with some of the staff (very rude at certain points) and I had no idea there would be so many young people!

First off, the Dirty Heads meet and greet was amazing!!! They were so nice and funny. As far as the concert, it was obviously great!! The Pepper fans were a bit rowdy and I really wish people were mature enough to stand in a pool with out filling up the beer buckets with water and drenching people.....but we can't have it all. Other than those things, I had such a fun time and would DEFINITELY do it again.

My husband and I have seen the Dirty Heads a few times. It was so sweet when they played Paint it Black at Festival Pier a few years back :) This year, at the Great Plaza, was great too! I love that they played Burials, off their new album (and others), but I was really happy to hear older stuff too. Can you guys play at the Electric Factory next time?? I love that venue. Hands down, one of the best shows I've been to! The energy that was bouncing back and forth between the Dirty Heads and the crowd was palpable. Every person in the theater was dancing and singing every word. We were all there for the music alone, that's why we go to concerts anyway right?! Everyone was giving off good vibes, dancing with each other and jamming hard. This show was the type of show that you walk away both absolutely high on life yet so sad because the show is over.

I went to the beerfeilds music festival two years in a row and had a blast both times ... My favorite bands were headlines each year between sublime w Rome the first and dirty heads the second ... First off, House of Blues in Chicago is amazing. The facility is perfect size. You are able to experience the bands from a very close distance! The Dirty Heads performance was phenomenal! Absolutely amazing, completely shocked how well they performed live! I would definitely see the band again. The other bands that performed, Oh no fiasco, Midi Matilda, and Shiny Toy Guns also performed very well! Great experience! The only disappointing part of the night was having to wait quite some time in between the bands.

I've been to a lot of concerts, seen at least 30 different bands, and been to almost 15 different venues. But seeing The Dirty Heads in concert blew my mind. I've never seen one group have so much energy and really kill it in a show. I drove 2 1/2 hours with my best friend to see these guys. And it was beyond worth it. We paid the extra money to even meet these guys, and let me tell you. It took everything in me not to freak out like a crazed fan girl. They were funny and just chill to be around. I would recommend them to anyone who wants to listen to amazing music and see an even more amazing show.

Well done........ by the Dirty Heads! Most amazing song was their funk, punk, reggae, rap version of the Stones 'Paint it Black"........ Closed with "Lay Me Down" to a well deserved standing ovation. New Politics opened for them and were brilliant. Second time for us to go see them......... Such stage energy and they carried all their ownsongs well. Another great show from the dirty heads. These guys put on a awesome show the energy and vibes where awesome. Would recommend for sure. The venue the paramount in Huntington also was great. Recommend pregaming before going in though. As usual with most venues drinks are $$$. But over all the venue is awesome amazing sound setup.

These guys can really bring their songs to life in a live setting. They play songs from all their albums which are always fan favorites! They show their appreciation at the end of the show by playing a club remix of one of their songs and dancing with the crowd. What a great band!

Don't get me wrong, the night was awesome. All 3 bands had messed up vocal audio and it wasn't any of the bands fault in my perspective. Kashed Out sounded like they had one reggae song at constant and then went to complete crap when they decided to play Drakes 'Hotline Bling' to end their set. The Supervillans olayed the best they good with the audio and as well as The Dirty Heads. The audio was crap and the bass was good but the you couldn't barley hear a lyric. Another weird thing was that The Dirty Heads didn't have any merch stand at all but managed to grab some Supervillans merch. WJRR also hooked my friends and i with free tickets to Badfish. Thanks WJRR!

This was my third time seeing the Dirty Heads play, but the first time that they have been the headliner band. The other two times Slightly Stoopid and Pepper were the headliners. And there must be something different about a band being the headliner, because they killed it way more and were way more energetic than the other times I had seen them before.

Seeing Dirtty Heads at a venue like Seacrets in Ocean City is amazing, it's like having a private party and your favorite band is playing. I've seen Dirty Heads 9 times now, next Thursday will be the 10th when they're at Pier 6 in Baltimore. A special thanks to the security staff at Seacrets, I'm in a wheelchair and they always make sure I'm in a good spot and taken care of.

The concert was amazing! I bought VIP and it was 100% worth it! If you can grab a spot on the second floor by the railing, it puts you almost as close as the front of the stage! Drinks are a little pricey but it was one hell of a concert!

Dirty Heads is one of my favorite bands. I have seen them at Blue Hills several times and the value is always worth it for how good the seats are. Super reasonable prices and always a great show!

Once again, my mind is blown! My first DH concert was right here at White River and I will buy tickets for my whole family every year they perform here!! This is a guaranteed good time and I would recommend this band and this venue to anyone who doesn t suck!
