Ronnie is an extremely talented musician and I enjoyed the show, however I liked his albums better than hearing him live. Typically I prefer live music to albums...

My second year seeing Ronnie Earl & the Broadcasters at BB Kings. Great classic blues tunes, and lots of tasty improvisation. Ronnie works the crowd well, and always puts on a "from the heart" show.

Last time I saw R.Earl was at Mannys Car Wash in '96. He was great then,he was even greater at BB's I can't say enough about his performance. Pure talent, great sound and a super long show. I brought six couples along and all were blow away.

Earl spent most of the gig off the stage playing to some woman - his spiritual adviser / security blanket. Great venue but very disappointing performance. We left early!! No fault of Showcase Live.

Ronnie Earl and the Broadcasters was a fantastic show. They played for 2 hours straight without a break. Best $20.00 I have spent in a very long time......very reasonable price. Ronnie Earl is a talent on the guitar, bar none. The piano player is also fantastic. The Drummer and Bass player are tops. Nothing bad to say about this one folks. Get yourself a ticket to the next show!!

Friends and I were blown away by his performance with his band at a small venue in Portland, ME. They played for hours leaving us with a gold standard that measures other blues performances. Paul, who played on keyboards is a muscian with very special talent.

This was the most commanding musical performance I have ever seen in person. Simply jawdropping. Ronnie is in good health and spirits, and is playing as well as ever. The current Broadcasters are a fantastic band. Highly recommended. Ronnie is one of the truly great blues guitarists, and a fine gentleman.

Show seemed a bit slow. Not used to that from Ronnie. He seems to have slowed everything down. Didn't come out in the audience, didn't play loud. Just wasn't his old self

Ronnie was in great form playing with his band and some house guests in the last half hour of the show. No complaints other than the random violist who showed up very out of place in the last 15 minutes. Ronnie is the master of tone and his guitar was in as fine a form as ever. He is relaxed to be in his native hometown and starting the show with Mona, and playing Miracle, He really Stretched out his soft tones and melodic solo's beautifully. At 2 1/2 hours of music with little chatter he is an absolute joy to watch. I could not get the smile off of my face for the entire evening. What a great venue for him to play in and the audience was awesome.Dave Lima on the keys playing Vernice's Boogie along with Robert Nighthawk Stomp and Miracle were the hightlights for me. Ronnie is looking great at 61 and I hope will come to Maryland for some shows.

True master guitarist! Ronnie keep on touring with the great Broadcasters. Only wish I could get to more shows! I always try to introduce people by bringing along and they always become instant fans as well. Too bad he wasn't allowed to come out and walk around the fans for some reason but he did try. I look forward to the next show.

Two hours and thirty five minutes of the most amazing guitar work. What a fantastic "hand"! Two songs into the set it was already more than worth the cost of the airline ticket and hotel. Would do it all again in a New York Minute!

Well, what can you say? Ronnie Earl is simply one of the best blues guitarists in the world. He can stand shoulder to shoulder with Eric Clapton, Buddy Guy, and B. B. King himself. His style and technique are both impeccable. His band the Broadcasters is also great. In particular, you'd think his keyboard player was the reincarnation of Otis Spann; he's great. Ronnie suffers from diabetes and was sick the day before the show But he told the audience he didn't want to cancel the show and that he was glad he didn't, because it felt great to be up on stage playing for us. And you know he meant it. The man is sincerity incarnate. He comes through as being humble, kind, and gracious. When he plays he closes his eyes, squeezes his face tight, and shakes his head from side to side -- and it's not an act. You know he's reaching down to the depths of soul and letting loose all the passion and beauty that lives there. It's a beautiful and stirring thing to behold.

I have only seen Ronnie Earl perform 3x in my life. I wish he would come down to NYC more often. Each time is like a breath of fresh air. A strong dose of a craft that is best experienced in a club like BB Kings. The band is great. Ronnie Earl played his heart and soul out for over three hours. Loved every minute, Ronnie Earl is a great guitarist that will just blow you away. His performance gets better each time I see him. What a great time!!!

This band is a joy to watch and listen to. Pure fun and great musicians. Ronnie Earl is the best guitarist i have seen. His guitar talks. Diane Blue, Gil Correia, and the broadcasters all were perfect. I feel lucky to have seen this show.

Almost nonstop music for over three hours! Ronnie Earl loves to play, and he can play all types of blues. What a crowd pleaser. He walked through the audience with 50ft guitar cord to amp continuously playing.

A great 3.5 hr show by one of the few bluesmasters still around.Rock solid band backing Ronnie as he cruised through the crowd playing so soulful people were in awe witnessing a true showman.Anyone not touched by this genuine man with the gentle soul should check their pulse and see if they're still alive..........

Very happy to have witnessed a legend on the stratocaster. Technically as good as the mid nineties and simply poured out his heart. Humbling.

Ronnie Earl said he was playing his first show in New York City in 13 year. Hard to believe! But maybe that was why he played for three-and-a-half hours! It made the pricey tickets turn out to be a great value. He and his band were great, and his guests added some nice variety.

This was one of the best concerts I have attended in many years. Ronnie is a superb guitar player -- I felt like I was watching one of the all time masters -- and both the music and his performance were moving.

One of the best concerts I have ever been to. Ronnie was very involved with the crowd and made it a magic night. His guitar playing spoke to all of us - he played a long time but we still wished the night would not end. I will definitely go and see him again and will take as many friends as I can. Showcase Live is also a great place to see a concert. Wonderful night we will never forget.

I was not a huge Blues fan but attended this show at the recommendation of my boyfriend (who is a HUGE Blues fan). I have to say that I have been converted! This show was unbelievable! Ronnie played for the duration of the show without breaks. His bandmates are phenomenal! He had 2 guest appearances who I think are proteges of Ronnies and they were also very good. Ronnie moved around the staged to make sure everyone was able to see. Fabulous show!
