Boy George

BOY GEORGE IN CONCERT: In an era where synthesizers and drum machines dominated the pop charts, Boy George defied the mainstream and created a counterculture with his distinct, soulful vocals and androgynous style. As the frontman of new wave band Culture Club, he entertained audiences around the world with rock and reggae-infused tracks, becoming one of pop's most enduring icons with his bold makeup and eccentric stagewear. It’s been eighteen years since his last solo release, and fans will be delighted to know that George will return to the spotlight in 2014 for the This Is What I Do Tour, complete with a nine-piece band, including a brass section, and plenty of glamour.  BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:Boy George rose to fame as the intriguing lead singer of Culture Club, which found commercial success with the release of their 1982 debut album Kissing To Be Clever.

I was amazed at how well coordinated the show was to include so many acts. There was little downtime between sets and everything flowed well. I grew up in the 80's and have many fond memories connected to the music from this era. Absolutely loved every act. Richard Blade as the emcee was the best. I splurged on floor seats after getting diagnosed with liver cancer - no regrets! I shared an amazing evening with my husband of 25 years listening to the music we grew up with.

I hadn't seen anything but hockey at this venue, so I wasn't sure what to expect. Being in the high end audio industry, I may be a little more critical of sound, than most people. However, the other members of my party, said the same thing. The acoustics are pretty crummy in the Honda Center. We loved the Bangles, Flock of Seagulls, The Romantics, and a couple of the other acts. I was really looking forward to Adam Ant, but the sound mixing was so terrible, that you couldn't understand a word he was saying. I'm a big fan, and on some of the songs, we were halfway into them, before I could even identify the song. Tone Loc, and Sugarhill gang, and friends, were just plain painful to listen to. The sound varied so much between artists, that we finally left a couple of songs into Boy George. We enjoyed it for the most part, but with the proper sound mix, it could have been much, much better.

It was amazing to see Boy George live & up so close!!! I'm still giddy about it, days after. Only bad things I can say is that he didn't do many of his old hits. He wasn't happy with the Chicago peeps who were being rude & drunk. I had to agree w/ him on that. Other than that it was amazing & so much fun. House of blues needs to keep a better eye on the crowd!!!!

It was so awesome to see Boy George! He put on a great show! He is definitely a very talented singer and entertainer and he kept the audience totally engaged from the minute he took the stage. It was a fantastic night! He went back to his reggae (not ska!) influences for many songs and sang music from his current CD along with some Culture Club (which the audience was dying to hear!) and he threw in some Dylan and Bread! (Yes, Bread, remember them?) It was a great show!

George was in great voice, but took over an hour until he played a hit. He mentioned that audiences hadn't been paying attention in earlier shows. I like his new music, and understand wanting to do fresh material, but thought it was a bit too much new stuff without throwing his audience a bone.

It was a good show. I love him so much I'd go again & I actually did end up going to the NYC show the following Tuesday. He did yell at everyone for filming him which I don't blame him but he was great. LOVE his band, especially his sax player. Jimmy is a great stand up guy.

Exceeded all expectations. I loved the band (especially the horns) , back-up singers and Boy George was in incredibly fine voice. The new music is awesome and he even gave us a few snippets of the Culture Club days. Definitely recommend seeing this show-- I would love to go again!

This review is coming from a complete and total long time fan of The Boy. I have loved and followed him since the very beginning of Culture Club. With that said, George or his show(s) would never-ever get a bad review from me. In the now 35 times I have seen him perform, including 3 times in NYC's Taboo, he has put on a great, fantastic show every single time - without fail. He is the total package; diehard fan or not, anyone familiar with his iconic voice would enjoy one of his shows. Why, one might ask ??? My response would be - because he is one of the few performers left that still sound live exactly as they do on their recordings. Albeit, at 52 years of age, George's voice is more seasoned now. Aside from all the fantastic, flawless performances over the decades, Saturday's performance was extra special for me, because not only was his performance on point, but throughout the show - it was very apparent to me that George looks good, feels good, and he had that edgy "spark" of confidence again. You could really tell he was having a good time throughout, and he truly felt and absorbed the love from his Boston audience.

I am 44 years old, so needless to say I grew up with Boy George and Culture Club. HUGE fan. But I must say, I was disappointed with this show. First of all, my ticket clearly said "Early Show" and "6 PM" on it. So I showed up at 5:15pm, and got in line (it was a General Admission show). It wasn't until I was just walking in the front door, that I just happened to notice a sign on the door that said "Doors open at 6pm, Boy George at approximately 8pm." This was immediately disappointing, since I expected the show to be over around 7:30 - 8:00, and had plans for after that, which I had to cancel. He did come out just before 8:00. I counted no less than 14 band members on the stage. He had a 3-piece brass section, which was great. Two (or maybe it was three) female backup singers, which were great. As for Boy George himself, I was sadly disappointed. Yes, I understand he is 52 years old, but let's just say that all the years of drugs he has done have not done anything to help his voice (think Whitney Houston's last album before she died). He sounded raspy and tired. While I'm at it, I'll go so far as to say he didn't look so good, either. There were a couple of fans in the audience who were recording some video of the show with their smart phones. It's just what fans do these days, and artists need to understand and expect that. But Boy George stopped everything, right in the middle of "Church Of The Poison Mind," to rudely yell at the audience, and tell them that if they don't stop recording, he is going to leave. He did do three Culture Club Songs (Church Of The Poison Mind, Karma Chameleon, and Do You Really Want To Hurt Me). I didn't expect the arrangements to be exactly like the original studio recordings, but they were way off. Not really that enjoyable. He did a lot of his newer stuff, which wasn't terrible, but it's tough when you simply don't know the songs at all. I didn't expect this to be any sort of Culture Club reunion or anything, but I would have loved to hear a few more CC songs.

A great concert by George spoilt by a huge number disrespectful people in the audience who went there to hear his 80's hits and just talked all night. When George was singing his new (and great stuff) people were talking loudly. It was difficult to hear George and the music during his quieter songs. There were plenty of other discerning people in the audience who wanted to hear the music who like us were frustrated at the noisy people. Concerts are for listening to performers - people need to learn this fact and be quiet and respectful. Bars are for talking !

Some of his new songs were okay, but he didn't play enough of his hits from the 80's (Miss Me Blind, Tumble for Ya, It's a Miracle). And what was with the camouflage jacket? I'm really not loving this new butch look with the beard. I was expecting a fashionably dressed diva in full makeup, not a member of Duck Dynasty!!!!

I was very excited about the bands line up. The "Sound System " was horrible. From the "Bengals" on you couldn't hear what they were singing. I felt for "Adam Ant" he would point his microphone to the crowd to sing along. We couldn't because we didn't know what he was singing. I am a concert T shirt fan and didn't purchase one, Very disappointed in not being able to hear the bands. They put on a Great Show. That You "BOY GEORGE" for pointing out about the sound system. I didn't get my money's worth. We should be given $50.00 towards next concert and not for general seating either. I didn't sit in general seating. I hope the sound system is ready for "PINK".

The sound system was apparently NOT working at the Honda Center. Salt n Peppa had a great performance and got the crowd going but after that it sounded like the speakers were blown. The volume was distorted and WAY too loud. We couldn't recognize all our favorite songs from Adam Ant and Boy George since the sound system was messed up. Having all my fav. groups together at one place seemed like a no-brainer except the production company (I believe Total Entertainment if I remember their logo) ruined the show. Terrible sound. Most of the main acts pointed to sound people, didn't have their mic turned on or up when they started; Boy George took out his ear piece every song. Adam Ant looked confused with the sound issues and the stuff they put on the main screen up to--the camera shots/fades/shaky cameras/blackouts...was literally the worst piece of production garbage I have ever seen in my life. I think the person in the control room was on drugs. This unfortunately was the worst show production wise I have ever seen. The sound, the video production was so BAD, I just can't even believe it. I literally feel i got ripped off.

The concert was unorganized and the band played too far apart with the rappers fillers, in which nobody care for them. The bands besides the Bangles were ok. I was very disappointed with the concert and its organization. Boy George came out almost at midnight, in which many people were already leaving. Boy George sang 3 songs and people started leaving. The concert organizer did a very poor job.

I thought it covered a lot of genres, even though I do not care for hip-hop, it was flashy and really well done. I don t want to say anything bad about any of the bands, but let s face it,we re all over 50 now. It was nice to see the look on the faces of the singers, as they looked in the crowd, they seemed very startled at first and then after couple songs got very comfortable ,like their old selves again. I m going to the next one in July. Loved it

If you absolutely have to see one of these acts before you die, they for sure go. This sound in this venue wasn't good and some of the bands were more than rusty. I was there to see Adam Ant and the Violent Femmes (both were great) but the crowd was more into the pop acts. S&P put on a great show but the other hip hop acts were NOT good (some of it was due to sound problems). These tickets were very expensive and I'd think twice before going to another 80's concert like this one. Definitely won't go to one in this venue again. :(

The Totally 80's show was a lot of fun, great lineup and performances! The seating was nice, we sat in 435 and were able to see the stage just fine, and the giant screen they have is great (I guess this also depends on who/what the camera is focusing on). The alcohol was a big pricey, but that's to be expected. Most of the concessions seemed to close around 10pm which wasn't too much of an issue for us, but there were quite a few surprised people when we were out stretching our legs. The biggest issue I had, which is why I gave 3 stars, was the sound and the camera. There was a lot of feedback (moreso than I would expect from such a large venue) from the microphones, some bands you couldn't hear an instrument and some instruments were overpowering the other part of the band. When Salt N Pepa performed, Salt's mic was perfect but Pepa was difficult to hear. Dramarama's lead guitar was almost non exisistant, and if there was a harmonica playing you just about lost an eardrum. Also, a big issue for me was the cameraman hardly focusing on someone that was playing a solo. The Violent Femmes xylophone solo was never once showed on the screen, and the poor girl singing her solo during Boy George's Purple Rain was never shown either, instead we got Boy George awkwardly hand gesturing to the soloist. I did enjoy the show and will still consider the Honda Center as a venue when going to another concert, I am not sure the sound and camera issues were their issue or those of the concert planners.

The Violent Femmes, I didn't care for, The Bangles didn't have too much pep, Adam Ant should retire, he just doesn't have the same or close to the same energy, Salt n Pepa were good but weren't on long enough and there was too much feed back! The fact that so many amazing artist were performing was AWESOME. What seem to be a problem for multiple artists was the sounds. In some cases as with Adam Ant, you couldn't hear him! When Boy George took the stage, he had to have them adjust as the band was too loud. Loved the venue, did not love the sound system, thankfully, a lot of positive energy with the crowd.

Too long. It was over 4 hours. Could ve cut out some songs from a few artists. 2 songs each was more than enough and let the main ones do 6 or so. Music overpowered the voices for most songs and all you heard were extremely loud music and screaming.

It is three days since the concert and my ears are still ringing due to the noise coming of of the speakers. The balance between the different instruments and the singers' voices was not done well. Many times there was high-pitched distortion bombarding me. This became worse as the night went on. When Adam Ant performed I could barely hear him or his drums as they were drowned out by the guitars. Could have been a great concert if the performers were presented well via the sound system.

I loved seeing some of my favorite 80s groups, but the production of the show was horrible. The sound on the microphones was too low and all the performers commented on it, but nothing happened to fix it. The vocals were all garbled and if you didn't know the song, you weren't going to figure it out. Probably an easy fix, but they didn't do anything about it. The other dumb thing about the production was the camera work for the screens. Horrible zooming in on wires on the stage, the feet, anything but the performers. When someone was doing a solo, they didn't focus in on that person. It was crappy. The only good cameras were on the stage, the distance ones were pathetic. It really made me have a bad impression of the whole show. They were advertising for a similar show in July and my friend and I said, no way, not with the same company running it!

Friends and I missed the tour when it was coming through the mid west so we met up in California for a girls weekend. Most of the Artists did a great job... played the hits we wanted to hear from the 80s. Adam Ant, we thought played too many songs and it appeared as if he was playing new stuff that no one knew, which made the show longer than it had to be..he also didn't seem to be enjoying himself. All of the other artists seem to really be enjoying themselves. I think it is difficult to change the stage for each band and they did have a rotating stage for this but the transitions still seemed a bit long. The MC continued to talk about the tour coming in July... Im sure they could have come up with something a little better than that every single time. If they were going to entertain us until Midnight then the Honda Center should not have shut off the beer at :945... and more disappointing was that some of them shut if off a few minutes too early .. how do I know this.... we were trying to get a drink at 940 and were told it was closed and then we kept trying until we got to another location right at 945 and they told us it was suppose to shut at 945. All in all it was a great show and fun hearing all of the hits...those were just the low points. The Honda Center was a nice venue... sound wasn't great but it was clean and easy to navigate...

Having grown up in England and been exposed to 80,s culture. This was a breath of fresh air compared to what we are hearing today. Hair - makeup clothes were such an integral part of 80 s music. Which incidentally was the best. Fabulous line up could not have been better.

The sound system was horrible. There were echos, and the music overrode the voices. I'm not usually a fan of arena venues; the seats are crowded, it seems like a mile long hike to concessions or bathrooms, and the sound isn't as good. Not so for the Orleans Arena. As a physically impaired patron I am happy to say everything was well organized and comfortable, and the staff and security were friendly and helpful. There was a long lineup opening for Boy George, and I had mixed emotions about such a diverse collection of artists- some of whom I thought of as "one hit wonders", so I wasn't sure what to expect. First up, Nu Shooz, is a perfect example. I was vaguely aware of their presence in the 80's, nice pop music but nothing that captured my attention for longer than the three minutes it took to play out on the radio . Their live act, however, was sensational. They truly pour their hearts into their craft and it was impossible not to groove along with them, they seemed to be having more fun than the audience! I wish their set could have been longer, but after just three songs they were done. I've already gone on a spending spree downloading their catalog and am looking forward to exploring it more. Next up was When In Rome- or an incarnation of that band that is touring with a ridiculously long version of their name that screams "We fought a long legal battle to use this name and lost so we have to change it". (I don't know if that is true, but that's what the name suggests to me.) Of all the guest artists on the bill, their big hit was the one I was most familiar with and I was looking forward to them, but they came across very aloof- almost bored compared to Nu Shooz, so by the time they got to "The Promise" I was ready for the next act. Tommy Tutone, who's "Jenny (867-5309)" was the mainstay of any New Wave pop / rock radio station in the early 80s, sounded nothing like what I expected. His band sounded more country rock than anything that was along side him on MTV. I could compare it to Creedence Clearwater Revival if their bassist didn't have such a New Wave sound. I didn't dislike it, I was just surprised by it. They had a relaxed, comfortable stage presence but the beginnings of sound problems that plagued the rest of the show began at some point during their set. Tiffany was another surprise for me. I honestly expected her to be lip-synching with maybe a dancer or two. No, she had a full live band with an updated style that made her sound as current as anything in the charts today. And she could SING. I had no idea such a talented voice lay hidden under all the studio tricks I remembered from her records. She was probably the most engaging of the acts so far, talking and joking with the audience and even jumping off stage to high-five the entire front row. Twenty minute intermission before continuing, which was welcome, but sadly seemed to eat away at the time for the remaining two acts, both of whom seemed to rush through their sets. Sound problems plagued the Romantics; the radio station's monitor was still on when they started their first song, and some kind of open line was causing feedback during their entire set. I don't know how many of the band were original members, but I remembered their drummer was the lead singer originally. However, they sounded good despite the issues and did all the songs I expected them to. Finally, main attraction Boy George hit the stage. He was the only act on the bill I had seen before, but he seemed more confident and happy than the last time I saw him. As headliner, he had time to explore his catalogue but really kept to the best known hits of the 1980s- not just HIS hits, either, as there were almost as many cover versions as there were his own songs in his set. Many were performed in a stripped down acoustic style that I enjoyed. If I wanted to hear the songs just like they sound on the album, I could stay home and play it. Some of the more upbeat numbers had backing tracks accompanying him, something he hasn't done in over twenty years on stage, but it was only a couple of songs (ex. "It's A Miracle", "I'll Tumble 4 Ya!") that probably wouldn't translate as well to an acoustic arrangement. His band was long-time musical partners and producers John Themis (Guitar, vocals, and a foot-pedal controlled drum machine providing the backbeat) and Kevan Frost (percussion, vocals and harmonica), plus two backing vocalists, DeeDee Foster (who has been working with Culture Club for the last few years) and an amazing new singer called Kelly Fernandez (if I got that right, I hope so, she deserves the credit!) His tribute section of the show was a preview of his upcoming new album tentatively called "Songs I Wish I'd Written" and included Eurythmics' "Sweet Dreams", Soft Cell's "Tainted Love", Prince's "Purple Rain" and truly added value for the nostalgia hungry in the audience. I could see him getting direction from off stage to cut his set short, and he ended the show with a special tribute to his manager, (celebrating a birthday), with a cool version of Frank Sinatra's "Fly Me To The Moon"- a perfect song for Vegas, if perhaps a little out of style for the 80's theme of the evening. I loved it, it was a nice little nod to the news of the Vegas residency that has been hinted at in the entertainment press lately. Based on this performance alone, I'd gladly make the trip back to Vegas for that show- hopefully for more than one performance!

Boy George and his stellar band put on a tremendous show! The venue was the perfect size for the feeling that everyone there is family sharing in the love for a man with tons of conviction! George chose the perfect playlist, highlighting the new album with songs that illustrate his current perspective on life and love, as well as honoring a few classic Culture Club tunes for the audience to sing as well! Church of the Poison Mind is life long anthem of mine and I actually squealed with delight when I heard the first notes. I love the reggae sounds, including the updated version of Karma Chameleon and I was again brought to tears knowing that the lyrics of Victims mean so much more to him now! Do You Really Want to Hurt Me reminded everyone of why they were there singing full on! George also indulged in some of his favourite covers, showing his depth and range as a performer! He was cheeky and bitchy and lovely as only Boy George can be! I am truly grateful that The Mayan was available for a second show when the first one sold out!

Although I was a casual Culture Club fan growing up, I decided to go to the show to listen to few specific songs and generally have good time. I was impressed with the musical selection, the easy flow of the melody and the presentation. While a far cry from the 1980's, Boy George was never the less entertaining and a general pleasure to listen to. I am taking off a star for the quality of the sound system - 3rd floor, balcony had a bass-problem distortion and towards the end, the live sound was getting more and more distracted and messed up. All in all - very enjoyable experience. I just wished he'd sing "The Crying Game".

What an amazing night!! Boy George is very comical and pulls the audience in. Drove 1.5 hours to San Francisco on Monday and then 6 to Los Angeles for Wednesday's event at the Mayan. That's how much I enjoyed it!

I was not sure what to expect of Boy George given his history, even though I bought his most recent album and loved it. Boy, was I surprised! He has matured into a fabulously wonderful performer with a strong voice. His set lasted almost 2 hours, with no opening act. He played nearly all of his new album plus a few Culture Club songs and some great covers of other artists. I have fallen in love with Boy George all over again. In fact, I loved the performance so much, I saw him the next night at the Mayan Theatre next door to the Belasco. He was also terrific fun the second night, and changed up a couple songs. I hope Boy George stays drug free and returns to America again. It's been too many years since his last tour in the USA. When he does return, I'm going to see him again.

I have waited since 1998 to see Boy George in concert again and I was not disappointed! I attended the Free at Noon show at WXPN earlier in the day and the TLA that night! He had a full band....horns, piano, drums, bass, guitar and singers! There was a funky, reggae vibe that kept us dancing the whole show! George's voice has matured to a gravelly, husky one....I prefer it! Classics were woven in with some covers and a lot of the new album was featured. Other than the drunken fools in the audience who don't know their limits, everything was great!

Performers were exceptional, sound system was horrible! The rotating stage did not permit sound checks, and it was evident. Some of my favorite artists were not given the proper acoustics. Vocals could barely be heard. Bass was way overdone. I paid a premium for 13th row. Seats were terribly close together and did not allow enough room for standing, let alone dancing. So much fog in front of the stage that it was hazy from my seat and the show was easier to watch on the big screen. Security did not keep the isles clear or people from seat hopping. Adam Ant and the Violent Femmes were exceptional!! I will not be returning to The Honda Center.

Show had a great lineup. There were even more bands than I knew would be playing. The early bands only got to do a couple songs, then as the lineup went on, bands got to do 3-4. Everyone sounded great. Adam Ant was my favorite. I just wish there was a spot to dance. Much of the crowd sat and honestly was boring. My group danced, with VERY limited room, and as a result we kept getting pushed back into our row.

I have to say first I prefer hard rock or metal music, so I can give an honest review. Took my wife who loves Adam Ant. The Romantics, Dramarama, and Flock of Seagulls were very good. I will say Adam Ant and Boy George stole the show. For a 63 year old man Adam Ant is in great shape, has lots of energy, and still sings well. Boy George was great. He sang several of his hits, then he went into a song from David Bowie, and he sang Bang a Gong. This guy easily can turn into the Wayne Newton for the 80's music. If you get the chance you have to see them. Right now I have to look at the tickets on Ticketmaster for Adam Ant on July 26th.

The lineup was great! Sound was TERRIBLE! Was so looking forward to this show and was incredibly disappointed with the sound. Especially for how much we paid for our tickets. Could not hear any of the vocals over the blaring overmodulation of the music. Couldn't even tell what song was playing half of the time until they got to the chorus of the song. Even saw the male drummer from Adam Ant mouth the words...its too loud..when they had him up on the jumbo tron! Would go to this event again as long as they got a new sound guy!

However, whoever was mixing the sound was whacked! Kept miscuing songs, messed up mikes, sound was terrible for almost all of the acts. Started playing other songs while another was still being performed. Inexcusable, really.. I've seen other shows here, and like any arena, the sound can be echo-y, but this was just bad, all around. Many times, because the wrong this was cued up,. we couldn't even tell what song the performers were playing. I think they were baffled as well. The crowd wasn't responding as they should, and it is no wonder. I had a great time revisiting old favorites, though. GrandMaster Flash and Sugarhill Gang were awesome!! And Adam Ant, of course!

Not sure who handled the soundboard, but the sound was horrible throughout the entire show. Muddy, poorly mixed and awful to the point that it ruined the show for me. Please don't cut corners on your future events. it's not fair to people paying more than $100 per ticket, and I was supposedly in a Premium section.

Boy George,Adam Ant,Violent Femmes,Salt&Papa the list goes on & was all SUPER AMAZING! The show was from 7til12. Honda Center stopped selling liquor at 730?! Also, don't step out of your isle, the fun police (security) WILL REMIND YOU to step back in line. I paid a premium price & the show was worth it but not the venue! ☹

The boy is back, sporting a 2000's beard and his signature hat. Boy George is back with a vengeance. Waited in line with drones of other fans for 1.5 hours only to be disbursed on the floor as we all bum rush the stage, we were not disappointed. Boy George sang all of his classic plus most of his new album and his voice was surprisingly on point. He is definitely a show man and proved to all new fans that he is here to stay. Boy George is amazing he cajoled the crowd with all of his spot on lyrics and never missed a beat. He did three encores and everyone was pleased with the show, you could tell by the applause and the screaming. Definitely time for him to tour much more and all his old and new fans are here to embrace him. I will say that I was disappointed that he didn't sign an autograph at the end of the night, even though we were yelling for him.

Boy George was in terrific form at the Mayan in downtown Los Angeles on April 30, the last stop on his USA tour. He sounded great and as the evening moved on, he started to relax and banter with the audience in his trademark wicked sense of humor. They loved his new songs but came to life when he sang some songs from his Culture Club days.

I've been waiting for years for George to come out with some new music so when I heard he was going to be in L A , I had to plan the hour trip fom Orange County. The show was lots of fun. George played lots of new music and engaged the crowd throughout the nite. He's looking fit and was certainly full of energy during the 2 + hour show. He seemed very comfortable and appeared to truely enjoy himself. He's a natural performer who makes the show feel like one big party. One interesting moment.. after introducing the band at the end of the show he said " and I'm Boy George..... an amazing British artist" The crowd roared. I think they agreed . Welcome back George!

I am a long time fan of Boy George more so from his Culture Club days. I was very excited to see him finally perform at least on his own since never getting the chance back then. I can say that he looked healthy and great and sounded fantastic! But...he only played 3 1/2 of his popular songs from the 80's with Culture Club. The show was top heavy full of new and cover songs and he didn't even perform one of the classic songs until almost the middle of the concert. Plus, he made it VERY clear that he doesn't like performing the classic hits by telling the fans in the audience who were yelling out classic song names that everyone is still living i the 80's but not him. When he looked at the set list mid-concert, he even made a comment "Oh...it's time for one of THOSE songs" and said it in a very negative tone. I am all for artists wanting to get their new songs out there but it frustrates me when some of them are so against singing the songs that made them famous and what their fans want to hear mostly! I can understand some artists get tired of singing the same songs over and over for years BUT he hasn't been out performing at all for YEARS so it would have been great to finally hear the classic/famous ones and without his irritation.

Dissapointed that He sang only 3 of his popular songs from the 80's. However he's a great vocalist but for the sake of his fans he should've sang a lot more songs from the 80's.

George was SO good! He looked more slender than I expected and he is actually better looking in person! His voice was amazing! The band and the music were also amazing. Overall the whole show and everything about it was 100% better than I imagined it to be. And I imagined it would be pretty good. So it was better than pretty good. AMAZING and EXHILARATING!

Boy George looked great, as his velvet voice was so pleasant and enjoy that part deeply. However, he had so many hit songs from 80's and 90's where he only sang 3-4 of them from the all of his hits. The performance of KarmaCameleon and Victim was not so good.

In great voice with a tight 9 piece band, Boy George struck the perfect balance between his reggae laced new material and cleverly reworked old school hits. GO GO GO!
