Southern University Football

We did not get into the game until the end of the first quarter because Southern University decided anyone with Will Call have to walk to the mini dome and pick them up. Then you have to stand in line with people that didn't purchase any tickets which was unfair to the people that took time to purchase their tickets ahead of time and wait. You're treated as nothing and in the end, my family and I lost all of the excitement of the game and was ready to go home.

This was truly a very wonderful event. The fans were excited, the seats were great, and the game was great, especially because we won! Thanks so much for a wonderful time. Southern University and staff, were awesome.

Great time seeing the game and the Band do their thing. Parking was an issue and could be improved. Be prepared to do a lot of walking. Great views from the stands lots of energy in the place. Good times

the game was great the problem was getting somewhere to park took me two hours to park then I had to walk over a mile back to the stadium. when I got to the stadium I had to stand in the regular ticket line because southern had no will call window this took another forty minutes. I only got in then because they sold out of the regular tickets. they had eight ticket booths and only had three open. This game needs to be played at the superdome only . Jackson State Stadium is just as bad not enough parking and not enough gates open which is a fire hazzard.

I was very disappointed in Southern University. Evidently, no one who works for them knows where to find the will call ticketmaster tickets, so I spent 40 minutes going from gate to gate asking people. When I finally get the tickets and get to my seats someone was sitting in them who did not want to move. I understand that people do that all of the time (sit in someone elses seats), but not being able to locate my tickets was a major problem.

Awesome game. Tons of fun. HBCU football like like nothing else. The band and croud are all part of the experience.

This was my first time at this stadium. I had a lovely time, but of course, once you're at a college football game, or an HBCU game, for that matter, you won't have problems. The stadium is a pretty good size. I wasn't used to the little variety of the concession stands outside the stadium (not outside but on the side of the stadium, if you will). Security was heavy which had me feeling safe going on and coming out in the dark.

I have never had a problem with Southern University until this game. It was horrible the way they handled the ticket booth. They had will call and people who were buying tickets in the SAME line. The line was wrapped around the stadium damn near and some people didn't get to go in the game at all. Usually if you buy your ticket online you are able to print them. PLEASE in the future let that be an option because it was no type of organization on gameday. It was too hot to be dealing with that. If that continues to be the way they do things. It will sure cause a decline in attendance.

The stadium is not user friendly for people with disabilities, They need to install 1 elevator or opening in the stadium for the higher rows for the fans to access without having to walk from the bottom to the top. Also it would be nice to have some covered seating available. The stadium is need of a serious renovation, very outdated.

The game was great but there was a woman whose seat was next to my son's seat #11. The problem was that her left thigh covered up the 11 couldn't even see it. He had nowhere to go so he sat in a row above us in someone else's seat until they came and then he moved down because at this point, the woman's was squishing my husband's and there was not 1inch of room for the seat I paid for.

The seats we had was great. But finding them with stadium staff was difficult. But overall the game seating was great when we find our correct seating area.

Homecoming was a blast! My team won the game and the Southern University Human Jukebox, Dancing Dolls, and Cheerleaders were great.

Even though my team lost and it rained the entire game, it was a great experience to share with my frosh daughter(SU). Seats were excellent, so was the Human Jukebox.

The event was great but the seat were no so great.

1st we cant select our seats like most events. I took the best available seats row 6 which were my thoughts greats but the real deal is they are the 1st row after the box seats section, which means you will never get to see or enjoy the game because people are constantly walking and stopping in front of you. Row 6 is misleading! its the worst row!! The game was sold out days before the game and they ran out of drinks and ice, with a coke trailer sitting outside the stadium, and they blaming it on the previous night event, that's BS! The worst part is if you are a regular fan and come to this stadium for football games they allow you to bring in food, drinks, coolers and even in and out the gate privileges. Amazing

In terms of the band, and watching a decent football game, the Southern game wasn't bad. But, if we talk about the unorganization and preparedness, it was subpar. The things I didn't like about the game were that the time of he game changed and I had work that morning, the fact that we got seat numbers and they don't have seat numbers. Another problem was that the food ran out, and you all overcharged for prices. So I probably won't be using ticket master again or anytime in the near future.

Great time at Southern vs Jackson St football game on 9/19/15. Ticketmaster allowed me to pick my seat which turned out to be the best I ever had for a football game (second row 50 yard line). Nice family friendly atmosphere which was sold out. People were respectful to the Jackson St football fans in attendance as well. I recently moved to Louisiana and was very impressed with my first HBCU experience and will surely do it again.

game was great. future reference to ticketmaster, be specific about "which" will call window you can pick your tickets up. This stadium has three. and the one where my tickets were located where at the basketball stadium not the football stadium. other than that it was great.

I really enjoyed this game! Not only was the game great but just to be a part of Southern's Centennial Homecoming was a wonderful experience! The band was great!

The game was excellent. The seats were amazing! The only glitch was picking up the tickets at Walmart, we got a representative from Ticket master on the phone who fixed it right away!

The game was nice it was my homecoming and visiting my university was and is always great.

Great seats... However, the stadium over sold their seats... Bad experience!

I have concluded I will never return to this game if it is held in Baton Rouge. This was the most unorganized event ever! I purchased tickets that ended up having to be retrieved at Will Call. Well, Will Call was a hidden location, literally. Get this...it was not at the football stadium; it was at the basketball arena UNDERGROUND. There was no signage to direct Will Call ticket holders to the underground location. No one knew the location but a young boy I stopped who I saw had a ticket in his hand coming from that direction. All Southern employees were vague as if Southern schemed to make the experience miserable as possible in hopes of a Will Call ticket holder giving up and purchasing a new ticket. Then, when I tried to enter a gate, after standing behind at least 50 people, I was told I was at the wrong gate and that that gate would not allow me to go to my seat. I later found I could have gone through that gate. A complete setup! Parking was horrible, but I can deal with that. It was the perspiration caused by Southern and its scheme to make more money and exhaust fans!

Honestly, I went just to see the bands play lol. But, I enjoyed myself; SU and JSU didn't disappoint!

Everytime Southern plays JState expect something great to happen.

WARNING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! SU hides the will call office -- signage is needed. once inside the bowels of another building across campus from football stadium the line was INSANE and totally unmonitored to pick up tickets --- Southern needs to rethink this , next time i will pay the service charge to pick up my tickets at ticketmaster

I'd rather watch peewee football. For getting taxpayer paid scholarships, these players and coaches stink! What a waste of time and money.

I generally don't opt for WILL CALL service but my circumstance merited it. I have to say i'm pleased with the ease and prompt service of ticketmaster's website.

We stood in line at will call for an hour after asking being told that it was the correct line only to get in front if the line to be told step to the side we don't know where your tickets are. Then we had to walk to the area which was almost a mile away from the stadium to stand in line again for an hour! When we did get into the stadium my husband and I were very disgusted because on the window of the first line was posted Will Call! There were people that didn't get there tickets until 3rd quarter of the game. A bad experience at SU.

The event was great as usual. The weather was beautiful, no drama, and we won!!

I had a great time with family and friends. This event is a great opportunity to see old college friends, new friends, and eat lot of great food.

There was no sign for Will call patrons. Patron had to stand in line with other patrons buying regular ticket. Seats were on the row next to railing where people passed and stood in front of us all night. Great game!! when we could see it.
