Ray Price gave us what we came to see! He performed his time tested hits with his resonant voice which sounded as good as his recordings. Thanks Ray for giving us a memorable show. You and your Band are consummate professionals in every way. Eddie Stubbs introduction was also a terrific addition to the performance.

I had always wanted to see Ray Price sing live on stage, I never thought I would get to see a live show, I was on the Internet watching some of Ray's videos on YouTube when I ran across an advertisement that Ray was going to be in Marietta, so I knew it was going to be a show that I would not miss.I was able to get two tickets that were in the most perfect place in the Anderson Theater, what a show Ray put on even tho you could tell that Ray didn't feel well. He did an awesome show. Thank You Ray Price for a wonderful show. The band played at the right sound level, not too loud like most others, and the theater was very nice and just the right size. God bless you Ray love you and your music. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the show.Ray and his band members also dressed very nice too.

I grew up with Ray Price on my Daddy's jukebox! I still treasure that jukebox! My Dad has been gone 15 years this week. Ray was one of his favorites. I will never forget the experience of hearing that incredible voice. I had hoped for many years to have the opportunity to see Ray and I am so grateful I did. Thank you for such a wonderful evening. Best wishes for continued health!

BOTH ROY CLARK AND RAY PRICE WERE AWSOME. AFTER ALL THESE YEARS THEY BOTH CAN STILL SING AND DO THEIR CRAFT EXTREMLY WELL. i WAS IMPRESS WITH HOW LONG RAY PRICE STAYED ON HIS FEET AND NEVER SAT DOWN. HE ONLY TOOK ONE BREAK FOR ABOUT 5 MINUTES. THE MAN IS 84 YEARS YOUNG. HE ALSO CAME OUT AFTER THE SHOW AND SIGNED THE CD'S ETC. THAT PEOPLE WERE BUYING. THIS GENTLEMAN IS AN EXAMPLE OF WHAT A TRUE ARTIST IS.

Ray Price has lost nothing of his voice from his younger days; he can really belt out a song. Roy Clark, also on the bill, is a great entertainer; always was, always will be.

The level of musicianship, the presentation, the execution, the song selection and the fact you were seeing one of the gods of real country music made this one of those special nights I won't forget anytime soon. He looked great and sounded even better. He hit all his notes with what seemed little effort. I can now go peacefully into that good night...

Ray Price layed his audience out like he's done for over 60 years, bringing us to our feet multiple times during his performance. His silver baritone reaches the lows, and his tenor is unrivaled in Country and Western. He sat through most of the performance, a concession to his 86 years, but he was right on key and time, always.

For a man to be 86 years young and just getting out of the hospital he put on a great show. He can still sing those great country oldies like he did years ago. His son does a great job also - he's following right in his Dad's footsteps. His son comes close but there will never be another Ray Price!!!!!! Loved the show.

It was an amazing evening by a living legend. Ray Price demonstrated true professionalism, singing many old favorites. One thing I particularly enjoyed was his diction--absolutely perfect. Just wish the show had lasted longer. Even though he was recently hospitalized, he gave a superb performance with some outstanding musicians. He also shared some tidbits of his story I did not know. I am really glad I was there!

Went to see Ray Price, expecting a good concert by an elderly performer who would do his best but miss notes, forget words, etc. Man, was I wrong! Ray put on a stellar performance singing his top hits with a voice a clear and true as it was forty years ago. He had a top-notch band, but with out a doubt, the superstar is still performing. I'd go see him again this week if he was back in town!!!

I have been joking about the "Catch Them Before They Croak" tour this year, but I'm going to see performers that I just didn't appreciate when I was younger. I treated my husband to this concert for our 34th anniversary and he loved it. Ray Price may not be as spry as Tony Bennett, but his voice is still strong. I'm not a big fan of country, but Ray Price singing ballads is timeless.

I'm a Ray Price fan, so perhaps I'm a little biased. However, I had a simple experience at this concert that proved (to me at least) that I'm not biased, I'm correct. When we like a musician, singer, song, movie, et cetera - we may somewhat take it for granted. Our familiarity with a subject may prevent us from really listening to or watching something/somebody with a fresh perspective. I've seen To Kill a Mockingbird so many times that I'm probably thinking of what is coming next or mouthing the dialog. I'm not *watching* the movie in a way I can really experience. As I sat through the first few moments of the Ray Price concert I thought about this and realized that somehow, I wasn't fully appreciating what I was hearing. I just had a moment where I snapped out of it and tried to listen as someone who perhaps hadn't been to many Ray Price concerts and didn't know every song. A feeling of awe came over me as I listened to this man's voice again for the first time. How can a voice so good be used by a man so talented a singer? Both of these distinct qualities come together in a performance that is arguably the best singing you can hear anywhere. His voice comes out and surrounds you like an old friend with a feeling of comfort and familiarity. I first went to see him as a teenager in the late 1970s and I think he may actually be better now. His performing style is simple and can be summed up in one word: SING. He walks out, plants his feet and simply stands there and sings. He doesn't need anything else to add to or take away from his performance. (At this show, he was on a stool due to recovering from a recent illness.) He went through the usual set list of songs the fair weather fans were looking for (For the Good Times) as well as those the regulars expect to hear (Time). The venerable Cherokee Cowboys were there in the back, not getting in front of that voice apart from a couple of instrumental numbers where they could cut loose. I've been thinking that at his age, everytime I've seen him in the last fiteen years or so would be my last - but he's still going strong and says he will keep on going. That's what all of his fans want to hear and that's good for those who haven't had the pleasure of seeing this legend sing in person. Go see Ray Price.

Excellent Performance! Ray Price's voice shined in The Majestic Theater as its done for the last six decades. He did not disappoint & cranked out all his old hits (ie Good Times, City Lights) & some other old gems (ie Cowboy Rides Away). Ray Price's band sounded like a thing of perfection, from the unstoppable Ferdie Calderon/Del Rio, TX (brother to the band's former piano player & band leader to the late Blondie Calderon) to Mr. Flores' exquisite violin playing, to the other star on stage, the Canadian piano player & the electrifying steel guitar! The crowd, ranging from the very young to the elderly, and were all treated to a memorable night! Great show!!!

Mr Price, in spite of his age, provides a once in a life time opportunity to see the master himself. He is ageless, his songs haven't changed on bit. I have never been to an event where the performer was more appreciated than this one.

I have seen Ray Price countless times over the years and I have never been disappointed. This concert was no exception, Ray is the best. One of the things that I have always admired is that he keeps the music volume down so that the audience can hear him and the song lyrics. I have gone to see Ray every time he has been in the area for several years and will continue to do so.

The concert was just wonderful and although I have probably seen Mr. Price ten times at different venues; I think that this was the most enjoyable of all in the concert setting. The "fiddle section" of his band was another "wow" factor that was so enjoyable as were the steel guitar and the piano. His son opening the show, was an added enjoyment that everyone enjoyed as well. I heard so many people commenting on the show, how much they enjoyed it and that they thought Mr. Price's voice was stronger than ever. He never changes; not even after a hospital stay.

At 87, Ray Price is still touring and has just recorded a brand new album. His performance was beautiful, and his voice has retained that Ray Price we know and love. He had to end the show a little early due to being tired, but he had got through the big hits. Crazy Arms, Heartaches by the Number, Release Me, Night Life, Crazy, For the Good Times.

At 87, Ray Price still has the chops of a champion singer. His baritone voice still resonates like it did decades ago. He is the epitome of classic country music, and everyone at that concert gave him a standing ovation the minute he walked out on stage, and the minute he walked out at the end!

If this concert comes to a town near you and you are able to go, GO! John Conlee and T.G. Shepherd put on a great show and not enough can be said about the legend himself, Ray Price. He just got out the hospital and had to be seated for the entire show but the man's voice is still amazing. He was the only one who received a standing ovation after his performance.

As we all know, Ray is getting older (I believe 87) and has some serious health problems as of recent months. That being said and taking this into consideration, I have given this show three (3) stars. Ray looked very frail and had to sit through his entire performance. He forgot the words to the songs he was singing on two or three occasions throughout the show. His voice did sound good on most all of the songs he did, although I feel he did not do a complete show. If fact he would not even come back on stage and do an encore or take a bow to a standing ovation from the audience. I feel this was because he was completely exhausted. I hate to say this, but I think it is time for Ray to stop touring and get his health and strength back. I admire him for all he has accomplished and to the wonderful contributions he has made to country music!! Take care of yourself Mr. Price!!!

I have waited all of my adult life to see Ray Price and it finally happened. It was magical from the time he shuffled onstage until the end. We know he is very ill and it greatly saddens us to know we will probably not have that opportunity again. His voice was strong and rich as it has always been. We were blessed with an opportunity to see, from the front row, the man we have admired and collected and listened to for years and years. Our best wishes for recovery go out to Ray Price.

You don't need Ray's son doing more than 2 songs. Song list left out some songs I wanted to hear. To give Ray a rest during the show, should have had Bobby Flores sing a few songs, like Danny Boy or any others he wanted to sing. That would have made it a spectacular show.
