This is hands down one of the best shows I have ever been to. Triple encore was epic. Also met a lot of great fellow rockers.

I haven't seen a KMFDM show in a while, but I have been to many. Without a doubt, they continue to bring the energy and sound to the stage that has everyone in the place moving with the ULTRA HEAVY BEAT. I loved the show and can definitely appreciate the effort that KMFDM puts in to the event.

Excellent show. Visually stunning, excellent band to crowd interaction, excellent sound quality. It was a blast and worth the $ and 6 hour drive. Also good opening acts. Chant delivered an awesome stage presence.

As a long-time die hard fan of KMFDM, I thought last years 2008 Chicago HOB show was sub-par for them, but they were back in a big way last night. I liked the setup with Lucia and Sascha both up front with their tech, reminiscent of the 90's setup with he and En Ecsh on either side of the stage (i miss those shows). The performance last night seemed a lot more polished than last years and a great song selection (Hau Ruck, Adios, Light, Drug Against War, and closed with Godlike). Interesting that they didn't play anything from Nihil, their most commercially successful album, but their catalog is so deep now they don't really have to. Lucia was at her best last night most notably on 'looking for strange' and 'free your hate'. Wish they would've started a little earlier for a longer show. Was it me or did the captain seem to sport a much lower mohawk last night?

KMFDM put on a solid 25 year anniversary show at the HOB. They have so many albums now, they can only play a song from each (they played a few off of the new one). Personally, I could live without songs like "son of a gun", because I perfer their stuff that was made in the last 10 years or so, but I guess you can't please everyone, and the rest of the crowd didn't seem to mind "the oldies." The band sounded great though on everything.

I have seen many KMFDM shows most of which were at the Odeon and they were all great. KMFDM always manages to pick crappy opening acts and Angespit was no exception. By far the worst opening band that I have ever seen actually. KMFDM was awesome as always but the sound at the House of Blues was pretty bad and the bartenders were awful and extremely rude.

The up side of the KMFDM show in Cleveland was that it was well-attended and the audience (much younger than I would have expected!) was really into the band. The down side: The show was way too loud and too nu-metal sounding. I miss the old KMFDM.

Quite simply, the show was awesome. The opening act, Angelspit, did a good job warming up the crowd, and did a good performance of their single, 100%. KMFDM was in fine form and their set list was a mix of several songs from the Blitz CD, plus a sampling of songs going as back as Light. They did two encores, and the crowd was screaming for a third . . . alas, even KMFDM has to take a break sometime.

The band opened with Angelspit and they performed "Vena Cava" and "Skinny Little Bitch". I rocked and jammed to the beats. KMFDM comes out with Godlike and beautiful Lucia's vocals really showed in "Looking for Strange" and "Bait & Switch". The band performed "megalomaniac", Juke-Joint Jezebel", "Light" and "potz Blitz". Listening to "DIY" truely made me feel proud to be punk. They blazed the club with "WWII". I recommend this concert and support Angelspit. If your in to METAL, industrial , techno, or just want to see a good concert, this is the one for you. I REALLY REALLY WANT TO KNOW THE ENDING SONG FOR THE KMFDM CONCERT ON SEPT 26, I LOVE IT! IF ANYONE KNOW, PLEASE PLEASE POST THE ANSWER! I HAVE SEARCHED EVERYWHERE AND CAN'T FIND IT!

Walked into the show not expecting too much and they blew me away. Only thing that would have been better is if the band had been a bit more engaging with the audience and hadn't just powered though their set list.

The guitar rhythms were great. The light show was generic. The female vox was a great perfomer. But, it seemed to be an off night for them. Sasha was more animated playing the older songs than the new ones. He seemed to come alive when singing GodLike. Still I love this band and my wife (her first time hearing and seeing them) liked the music.

Unlike some industrial groups, KMFDM peformed with real instruments, for the most part. And it made all the difference. The drumming was heavy and intense. The guitars, though tuned down a little low for my taste, were shredding. There were many loyal fans at the Boston show, and it was clear that most of the audience was drinking this international blend of industrial tea up. The mosh pit was just as raging as I've seen at some traditional metal shows, and almost everyone seemed to be thumping a foot or a tapping a hand to the beat. Unless 80s/90s industrial music is one of your favorite genres, though, you're not going to recognize many or any of the songs, and you certainly won't have a real sense of the show's climax and encores... but it's still a decent show that is sure to at least wake you up and fuel your mind for whatever other adventures you seek in the night.

It's a rare concert that can get me out of the house away from taking care of my young daughter. Thankfully, mom was willing to grant me the car and the time away for this concert. I'm so glad I was able to make it! The band was on fire with a positive vibe and the crowd slammed and danced throughout their 90-minute set, which was packed with most of the big songs from nearly every album in their extensive catalogue (no "Juke Joint Jezebel" was the major omission, so they left me wanting more at the end!). The songs played from the new album fit in well with the older classics and I left very satisfied. Here's to 25 more years of KMFDM!

KMFDM is one act I never thought I'd get to see live, and it was everything I had hoped + a whole lot more. Incredibly high energy, very powerful, great stage performance, a proper amount of lighting and effects.. I didn't really know who the opening bands were going into the concert, but I am glad my girlfriend and I showed up twenty minutes before they played. Chant was really good. They were raw, exciting, almost tribal and the lyrics were inspiring, even revolutionary. The perfect combination for an industrial concert. The only negative thing I have to say about Chant is that I wish the keyboardist had done just a little bit more with the keyboard as a keyboard, such as was the case during the opening song. I initially didn't enjoy the second band, Legion Within, very much. I think part of it was because the bassist was drowned out by the drums, but by the time that was fixed, after a couple songs, I was more into them. They had high energy, and the lead singer was entertaining and theatrical, as were the lyrics. The members from both opening acts were personable, professional, and engaging. KMFDM was awesome. Because we had arrived early, we were up front against the stage, and pretty much directly in front of Lucia. She had great energy the entire time, a testament to the idea that women can be strong, powerful and sexy. I laughed when someone in the crowd after a few songs screamed "Drug Against War!" and she responded with a slightly drawn-out "Patience." Sasha also had great energy, and smiled at the crowd from time to time. Both guitarists were also engaging, and the drummer was always on beat. It's nice to know that bands like KMFDM, despite having been in the music industry for quite a long time, still care about what they are doing, take the time to interact with the crowd (lots of eye contact), and balance professionalism with passion for their music. I will admit that I'm not too familiar with their new material, but that didn't really seem to matter. First, I liked all the songs I had never before heard. Second, for a tour promoting their new songs, they played a lot of older songs, which I really enjoyed. So did the rest of the crowd. Predictably, people were incited into moshing by "Free Your Hate," "Drug Against War," and "World War III," to name a few songs. It was great, and really made me feel alive. That sentiment can be extended to the entire set. This was my second time seeing KMFDM, and I was even more impressed than the first time, mostly because I was closer to the stage. Their performance was simply amazing and that concert is the best I've ever seen. I will definitely see them again when they come to Boston next time.

KMFDM is a band I have much respect for. Their stage energy was incredible at the Boston show! In fact, the entire lineup, including tour support acts Chant and Legion Within, was stellar. The venue was packed and everyone was into the music - dancing, jumping up and down, waving fists in the air, shouting along with the lyrics...it was a beautiful sight to behold.

this was the first KMFDM concert I have ever attended and I have to say that I was completely blown away by it! I have listened to KMFDM for several years and when I first found out that they were going to be in Atlanta, I bought tickets and made hotel reservations for my wife and I( we're from Central Florida). we were really really impressed by Bradley Bills and Kristopher Robin , of CHANT, and enjoyed Legion Within. but the highlight of the night was KMFDM! Lucia Ciferelli's vocals and srage presence was nothing short of stunning! if you're a KMFDM fan or are new to their music you definitely must attend 1 of their concerts and see them play live.

KMFDM was, of course, amazing. Not the first show of theirs I've been to, and it definitely won't be the last. Sascha delivers radio perfect as always, and Lucia was with it this time, too. Chant (from Austin, Texas), the first opening band, made a good impression and I personally thought that they accomplished a great sound with nothing but drums and a keyboard. I'd definitely recommend seeing them if you get the chance. Legion Within, though, was kind of a let down. Five musicians that seemed to come from five different schools brought music that was overall lackluster and seemed to be missing a common theme. Overall I'd definitely grab tickets to this tour if you can make it, definitely a good experience! And don't forget to hit the merch tables - there's no better way to support the bands you love!

The so called Industrial scene peaked some time ago. It's not dead and neither is KMFDM. You would think that maybe after, what, 30 years or whatever, that enough is enough. Especially if the formula pretty much remains the same. Lo and behold, everytime time they come out with new material and another tour, my juices flow, baby. I want to give a big shout to the mosh pit, everyone was agressive and fun AND looked out for one another. I moshed the whole set and I am bruised and sore and I had a frickin' blast! Long live KMFDM!

I see KMFDM every time they come around, and they're always fantastic. They played mostly new stuff, and I would have preferred a bit more of the older stuff we all know and love, but it was still a lot of fun. I also noticed Sascha didn't sing as much as normal, and when he did, his voice wasn't quite as strong. A cold maybe? There was a guest singer on a couple of songs who was pretty over the top theatric. Lucia is always a pleasure to watch.

I have seen KMFDM so many times over the years they never let me down. Definitely a band I would recommend. The only problem in the show was during 16volt's set when the microphones kept cutting out. For at least half the set we sadly couldn't hear Eric's vocals. Luckily I have seen them 2 other times so I know this was just a one time thing. But over all KMFDM always puts on some of my favorite shows.

We got there early and were right up front!! One of the opening bands didn't show up/play, but that was alright. KMFDM came back out and played two more times, but still somehow 'forgot' to play Anarchy, which I was bummed about.. People kept yelling for it, but still, no. The show as a whole was awesome. We primarily went to see Angelspit, as KMFDM has kinda gone downhill recently. Angelspit was incredible. They exceeded all expectations. Despite the largely sample- and effects-based nature of their music, they still controlled the music in a direct manner, rather than rely an backing tapes. KMFDM was also quite good. There was an expectation that they'd neglect a lot of their older work, which built their fan base for them, but they performed many of their classic hits. It was amusing to see the reaction of the younger members of the audience to the traditional encore chant: "KMFDM Sucks!!!" after one of their most famous songs.

This was my first time seeing KMFDM. The Regency seemed about half full. The show started out in relative darkness, then, a few moments in, there were incredibly bright lights from the stage shining out onto the audience. Dark... bright... dark... bright. Hard to pay attention to the band and music when your eyes are closed in pain. The show overall seemed kinda average- Lucia provided some nice dance and vocal energy, and the guitarists and drummer were good, but there was more "standing around while samples played" than necessary. The sound seemed muddy, partly from the big echoey gym that is the Regency Ballroom. Maybe three songs caught my attention overall. The guy next to me commented a couple times that he didn't recognize very many of the tunes. People moshing in the front left half of the audience added energy, though even that seemed relatively sedate. Most everyone seemed to be having a good time, and brought the band back out for two encores. I'm glad I went, but I'm also glad the ticket was cheap and I didn't travel very far to get there.

Did enjoy seeing them overall but have some complaints. Ohgr sounded fine except that Nivek's mic cut out a few times. The drums during KMFDM nearly drowned out everything else. There were too many light boards for such a small venue too. They blinded me especially for the first few songs. Either I was seeing nothing but glare or the ghost effect when they weren't on.

Although Lord of the Lost had visa troubles and couldn't get in, I was still really pleased with this show. OhGr and his band were as weird as I would have hoped, and his set was amazing. KMFDM played a great set as well, mostly songs from the new album but a few classics as well (WWIII, Animal, Amnesia, Hau Ruck). KMFDM's lighting was *really* fun, and everybody in the crowd was amped and having a great time. Masq's new venue is cool - not as cool as the old one, but still a good fit for them.

This man, and other members of the band, actually took the time to take pictures, and speak with people. This band and its members are truly as awesome as you would believe. Captain K if you read this, thank you very much for going out of your way for all of us, time, and time again. I've twice in the past had tickets to a KMFDM show, but was unable to attend. After 20+ years of listening to them, I finally was able to make it this time. Awesome experience that made me angry it took me so long to finally get to a show. I am looking forward to next time! Great playlist, and excellent visuals.

ok so all the riffs are great but some of those just suck u in and tear you apart forcing you to get the fuck up and go tribal dancing thrash style. just injects your soul with nitrous oxide and hyperpower. soul grinding riffs with dance beat pounding and that girl just tearing through every word and line precisely and vicious like only an art bitch could do. lol

Andy, Jules, and Steve were good as usual. Everybody still misses Raymond, En Esch, and Gunter. Sascha is an amazing producer, and it sucks that he has to do all the vocals now. KMFDM should find a good frontman to make up for losing En Esch and Raymond. I have huge respect for Sascha, but vocals are not his forte. My harshest criticism is with Lucia. When her voice gets loud, she becomes tone deaf and she is WAY off pitch. It ruins their performances when she yells out these off notes that just make you cringe. I'm not sure if anybody has made her aware that she does this. She can carry a pitch at a normal volume, it's just when she gets loud. This is only constructive criticism of my favorite band.

KMFDM always brings the ultra-heavy beat when they come, and they had a delightful opener in Chant an incredible Tribal-industrial drum based band. KMFDM played a great and engaging set with a great mixture of old and new songs.

KMFDM is amazing live. I do wish they played a few older songs, as 95% of the show was from their last three albums.

Aside from an opening technical difficulty which was resolved within seconds, this was a powerful, high energy show. KMFDM was everything you'd expect, but better. Lots of techno synth, bass like a fist in the solar plexus, awesome vocals from Lucia, and twin guitars chugging out cords like a power conveyor to maintain that metal undertone. Huge long setlist, with next to no chitchat. They came to entertain and did so!

KMFDM finally made it back to San Diego and they did not let us down! Every single aspect of this show was amazing and unforgetable and I cannot wait for them to return. I don't know how they summed up 25 years into an hour and a half, but the setlist was one of the best they have ever performed.

My first KMFDM show after having listening to them since the 90's. A great performance. I went with a friend who saw them play back in the mid-90's, he said they are still just as good to watch as they were back in the day. I hope they continue to tour...I so want to see them again. I was surprised by the small venue at first, but it was great, I was 10 feet away from the entire band. They even played, "Bait and Switch"! So much fun. Highly recommended.

Angelspit had lots of energy and the lights were cool! Loved their outfits. KMFDM played a lot of their older stuff! 3 encores and Skold played too! Last song Godlike was my favorite of the night!

This show was a pleasant surprise. The intimant venue combined with the organ thumping hard beat made this a night to remember. After 25 years this band has definitely perfected the ability to please a crowd. We missed the first opening act but caught Angel Spit, 100% rocked live and the "band in a box" instrument was interesting.

I have seen KMFDM many times in the past 20 years. This year the sound was really great. I don't know if it was the venue or what. There was no raymond watts this year which has it's plus and minuses. I think they most always have a good show. very much the classic pop industrial Kaptain K and friends as you can tell by the set list. Go to see this tour if you have the opportunity. Angelspit has a good performance and is worth seeing if you have tickets allready. I don't know about legion within as I missed their set.

show was excellent, high energy new(er) songs and who can beat an ending of "Godlike." venue has no air circulation so rather than be upfront with the high energy crowd I had to get away from the heat to the back with the no-energy lookers. didn't ruin the show just diminished the enjoyment.

Legion Within opened the concert with what could best be called reminiscent of Bauhaus earlier days. Great passion. Next up on the stage was what seemed to be a promising Australian band called Angelspit. This band would have been more suited for a crowd at Burning Man or some rave in the desert with people who could be amused by machine driven music (there were no actual instruments on the stage) and female screeching rap (there was no actual talent either). What made it bearable was the local DJ phenom Xian spinning some of the best industrial beats inbetween the bands. KMFDM hit the stage with power and passion that was unbelievable. They hit every hit that could that covered their incredible 25 years of delivering the heaviest beats in music. Incredible energy. Two encores made the night! Godlike left you feeling Godlike as the concert ended. KMFDM...doing it again!!! Let's hope they keep doing it!

Wow, Its been Ten years since I saw KMFDM last at the Warfield and This show was a great way to transport me back in time. KMFDM kicked butt as usual, sound was great, first time I've been in the Regency Ballroom and was in awe of the great building. The crowd was perfect, we got close to the stage and not alot of pushing and fighting. All in all a great show in a great venue.

Was awesome to see KMFDM again. Always a good set. ^_^ Also - best bass you'll ever get in a concert. One complaint I have about the sound (admittedly, it could be cause I was right up front, and I know that can have this effect) is that the high end was kind of overpowering the midrange. You know, that hissing sound the highs get when they're up really really loud? Probably would've been cured by actually wearing earplugs, so I guess it shouldn't be a real complaint, but oh well. Btw, first time since I was 17 that my hearing got really messed up by a concert. It's the next day now, and I've still got ringing in my ears and stuff kinda sounds like I'm listening through a tin can... good times. Completely forgot Angelspit was gonna be playing - so that was great. Slightly disappointed when they had guitar going, but nobody was actually playing guitar (I love guitar). Other than that, their set was awesome. Legion Within, was alright - not my taste. They had a great drummer, good bassist, couldn't really hear much of the guitar, digital noise was great (appeared that the drummer had handled all that, so it made sense), but the singer couldn't really sing. :/ The singer was also the only one who dressed up for it, and did kind of a poor job of it. I know victorian style clothes are the 'goth' way to go, but wearing a corset over a shirt that's way too long just makes you look like you're trying to look as goth as you can, which you probably are at that point. No one should be trying to look as goth as they can, especially when the three other people you're performing with are satisfied with some moderately stylized clothes. I would say more, but I don't wanna be too much of a dick to one guy. Anyway, great show, really enjoyed it!

KMFDM has been one of my 3 favourite bands for many years, but I haven't seen KMFDM since their 2004 world anniversary tour, so i was really looking forward to this concert. Unfortunately, it didn't seem like KMFDM were looking forward to this concert at all. Angelspit were great, better than I expected - they brought a lot of energy to the stage, despite being a 2-piece who mainly rely on pre-recorded tracks. But KMFDM were lifeless. Their "anthems" seemed as though they were at school reciting the national anthem with no emotion at all. Both Steve and Jules played their complex parts like scripted robots. If i wanted to see faux-theatrics, I'd see KISS. Lucia even screwed up the lyrics to one of my favourite songs, Looking For Strange. KMFDM's albums are still great, and I'll continue to sing along with them at home and in the car, but I'll never again pay to see them live.

Long time fan of KMFDM, I finally got a chance to see them come around. Why I waited almost 20 years to finally see the band I listen to everyday, I'm not sure? It could have been the venue's acoustics but the entire show consisted of extremely high, higher than average, pitches emanating from the speakers. I found it comical that the crowds were active during their much older music (pre-96) and everyone clueless at the newer stuff with Lucia singing.

KMFDM sounded great. The production levels for this concert were spot on. The Ultra Heavy Beat was loud and clear and so were the locals. This was a great show, and I would go to see them again in a heartbeat.
