Reunion of three of the best singer songwriters was perfect. Humor and harmonies were offered throughout the show.

As I expected dar Williams,Lucy kaplansky and Richard shin dell were awesome, there voices work well together, but the Wilbur theater leave a lot to be desired,it s defiantly the most uncomfortable theater I have ever been in.there is absolutely no leg room, the seats are way to close to each other and the place is run down,no coat check available so it limits your comfort even more, you expect to pay more than usual for a drink but this theater way over charges,at 9.00 for a beer. The sound system is sub par with vocals sounding blurred when loud, they should invest some of the money they make back into the venue,so overall I would not go to this venu again

The trio did not disappoint, between the hilarious onstage patter by Dar Williams and the singing by Dar Lucy and Richard, it was a great show, both new songs and old

Like spending a nice evening with very talented friends. Like Halley's Comet, this "folk supergroup" consisting of Dar Williams, Lucy Kaplansky and Richard Shindell only comes together once in a blue moon, so I was thrilled to have the opportunity to see them. The combination of their voices and instruments was wonderful to hear. Performing some of their own popular tracks as well as covers, I think my favorite one was their take on The Psychedelic Furs' "The Ghost In You". They played well over ninety minutes, but still left you wanting more.

I had the privilege of seeing Cry, Cry, Cry when they first toured 17 years ago and they are still fabulous. I love their mix of older songs, individual current work, and the songwriters they love to listen to today. It was fabulous. My favorite songs were the opener "The Kid", Richard's "Are You Happy Now" and "The Ballad of Mary Magdalene", and "The Cold Missouri Waters". I see Richard whenever I get the chance as he was a college roommate of mine at Hobart and William Smith.

We had seen Richard & Lucy together and individually before and loved them every time. But this was an extraordinary evening of entertainment. This was the first night of their tour supporting their "Tomorrow You're Going" album. Along with Larry Campbell, who produced the album, on guitars, Teresa Williams, his wife, and his band, Justin Gulp on drums and Byron Isaacs on bass, the musicality and virtuosity of the musicians was first rate. Richard and Larry are terrific guitarists. If for no other reason, go to hear their jam on "I Know You Rider" just so you can tell everyone for years to come that you were there for musical magic. At one point, Lucy said to Richard, "this is fun!" Yes, Lucy, it was for us too.

Love, love, love Richard Shindell. So it was a surprise to be somewhat disappointed by his lack-luster performance. It could have been called the Larry Cambell or the Lucy Kiplansky show. Larry was phenomenal...not a disappointment or surprise there. Lucy was OK. She's better on records than she is live. Richard however said about 20 words the whole night and was completely without joy. I must assume he was tired. But it was the launch of their new CD, show a little enthusiasm. I truly hope the rest of his concerts are not such sleepers or there won't be an audience pretty soon. Wake up Richard, join the party.
