I don't understand why people said that there's no good sound in DAR Washington D.C

I'll start by saying that I'm a big fan of Alejandro Sanz. I like almost every single song I've heard him sing, so I was very much looking forward to his concert. From the time the opening band started to play we could notice something strange with the sound. We could hear the music but could hardly make out the words of the singer. The sound was just not crisp. We hoped this would be a temporary problem and once the main act started it would be corrected, but unfortunately it wasn't the case. The same problem persisted through the entire concert. After a while I just put that annoyance aside and decided to enjoy the concert, which I did, but I sure would have liked for the sound to be better.

The concert was a major let down ... the sound quality was terrible i didnt understand a single word the singers were talking or singing ... many people in my section were complaining about this... i ended leaving the concert within 40 minutes of it starting. Sound quality was terrible and tickets were very expensive for what i witness and ended up leaving early.. i was at ricardo arjonas concert a few months ago and was sitting in same section and sound quality was pure and perfect was able to understand everything .. but alejandro sanz concert was just terrible .. had plans to go to carlos vives and bruno mars concert but will consider not going due to what i witness :/

From beginning to end, Alejandro and his fabulous band of international musicians and singers captivated the audience's attention with their onstage presence, the colorful lightshow, great rhythm and lyrics. I would definitely recommend this show to all who can appreciate an evening of great singing and audience involvement. You will see Alejandro delight the audience with a lot of his new productions and take you down memory lane with his earlier songs. Fantastic show all around!!!

I have seen Alejandro on several tours-- he's my favorite singer in the world! That said, this was among the best I've seen him! His shows always have top-of-the-line production value, but we were blown away by the set before the concert even began. When he came out, we were in awe! He looks amazing, sounds incredible and was just all-around fantasic! I titled this review "surprises galore" because if you're a fan of his older stuff, you're in luck! You will hear him play some of the songs he hasn't played in the last four tours. The musicianship never disappoints... Mike is a great band leader. Xtell and Sarah are back as his back-up singers. This was my first of two stops this week- it's my birthday week... and what a way to celebrate!

I loved the show!!! He is great and so are his musicians. Too bad he did not have a big screen, so we could see him better. That is my only complaint! It would be great if we could have seen his facial expressions while he was singing. Great energy!!!!

This concert was awesome! I didn t know if I was going to like it because I had not heard his new CD yet, BUT I LOVED IT\u2026 (needless to say I downloaded the new CD as we were leaving the concert) He played old songs as well as new ones. His lyrics are awesome and seeing him in concert was a great experience. He was charming and gave the fans what they wanted, great music and a good time!!!

The lyrics of his songs are the most powerful and beautiful you can ever hear. I've been two times to his concerts in Puerto Rico and he starts singing without any "black-holes" in between songs. Just AMAZING!!!!

I've seen Alejandro several times and consistently his recordings sound much better than live. You tend not to be able to understand his words, and let's face it, he doesn't have the best voice. His style is what makes the concert worthwhile. He doesn't have much of a stage personality either, but still you will have the audience screaming making it even harder to hear. If you have a good group of friends/family to go with, then you will enjoy the show.

I saw Sanz in Madison Square Garden in NYC and had 4th row seats...I was so emotional to be part of his audience...at first I was in shock...paralyzed...then I couldn't stop screaming...of course I lost my voice....I stood the entire concert. Now that I'm Miami and he's coming I'm READY BABY!!

The entire concert was awesome as far as the artist and the show itself, however, the audio /sound was awful and couldn't enjoy the lyrics of the songs. I WAS VERY DISAPPOINTED!!! We tried to complain but the manager in customer service (322) stated "SORRY, WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR THE SHOW"!!!!

Alejandro Sanz is a very good singer, charismatic and the band has excellent players. However, the sound was off. Guitars and bass were too loud, covering the singer's voice and the sound came out a little distorted. You would think that during rehearsal, a sound check would have been sufficient to make sure this would not happen during the concert. I had seats facing the front of the stage and therefore could easily identify sounds problems throughout the concert. That was a little disappointing. A little more balance in sound would have made he concert perfect.

My wife and I are big fans. We rank this concert in our Top 5 Best concerts ever!! Alejandro was amazing this night. He was extremely respectful and sensitive to his fans by starting the concert sharply on time. He put out an amazing performance. He went on for 2 hrs, wow!!! The artists he invited to sing with him on stage was definitely an awesome surprise; a true treat to all the locals. His energy level was thriving and he engaged the audience in a captivating way. The song selection was simply superb as he sang the best songs from his new album and some "must" awesome-oldies. We walked out of concert simply ELATED. That's when you know you just witnessed an awesome concert experience. We cannot wait for the next tour!!!!

The sound quality was really bad. Too much echo, no-one controlling the mix of sounds so the band ended up too loud and completely dominated his voice. It did not seem to me that they had practiced much together in a stadium setting. I have heard all sorts of stadium bands, from Roger Walters through to Madonna and this was really poor compared to those. The band seemed to enjoy themselves, but the music quality was low. And since this is what you pay for, I felt we had no value for money.

Alejandro Sanz is one of the only latin artists nowadays to call a true musician. His latest album, "La musica no se toca", , like "Alma al aire" is flawless, with amazing arrangements. Perfect "marriage" if an artist and a producer, Julio Reyes, who we saw play the beautiful piano accimpaniment when Alejandro invited him on stage. Hope to see them together in a future album! I would have liked to see him sing by himself more (no special singers to help him because he doesn't need it)

Never was a huge Alejandro Sanz fan. Nor is my wife, but he is a famous singer so we got tickets and went. Now we are both huge fans! What he does to get people to connect with him, his persona along with the wonderful lyrics and show that is around him...totally worth it! We found that we knew more of is songs than we thought and found ourselves screaming for him to sing more "encore!!" "Otra!!!" Highly recommend...of course he had as special guests: Tommy Torres and Luis Enrique, which ain't bad either!!

We were a group of four sitting in lower lateral section. We were very disappointed. The sound engineers must be deaf. The sound was very loud. The whole stadium was shaking. Sanz was not singing, he was screaming and still the acoustics where louder than him. We cold not really understand the lyrics. Even the stadium attendants could not understand why the sound needed to be so loud. We where in similar sits just a few weeks ago in Arjona's concert. It was the best. We did not encounter this problem. Maybe some or most people would find that an extremely loud concert is great. We did not. We had lo leave after the first hour. I would not see Sanz in concert ever again.

The concert was great. The opening act was short (which is good). It is amazing how good Alejandro Sanz sings live. It's like listening to the album. The playlist was very balanced and his interaction with the public was excellent. My only complaint is about the sound. It was too loud and had too much bass; which made other sounds (like the acoustic guitar) disappear.

I was so excited to attend the concert of one of my favorite singers that I was at a high energy level for two days. As the concert evolved I found myself more and more disappointed. Cannot tell you if the seats were comfortable or not because I watched the entire performance standing and was not able to hear Sanz singing over the instrumentals and fans singing along. It appears that his performance style is that of inviting his fans to sing along and to complete his verses. I will remain a fan of Sanz but do not plan to attend another of his concerts!

I LOVED Alejandro Sanz concert!! He started as always, with one of the new songs!! The audience was really hard for him to win, but he sang and sang and talked to us and ultimately won the crowd over!!! I was the whole time on my feet, singing ALL the songs and dancing!!... I don't understand how there were people sitting down, but at the end of the concert EVERYBODY was on their feet singing and dancing!! This review is mostly for the audience... Here the audience is not as euphoric as in Miami, where I've been to several Alejandro's concerts and over there he fills up the American Airlines Arena and everybody is screaming, singing and dancing the whole time... Here is different I don't know why! But I still completely enjoyed the concert and my feet hurt by the end and I didn't have a voice! =D... I LOVE ALEJANDRO SANZ!!!!!!!

Alejandro Sanz's concert was amazing. There's no way to describe his amazing talent. He writes, composes and sings his own songs. He is very charasmatic, and joked with the audience. He sang his new and old songs - the old songs which you never get tired of, and know every single word! Everytime he comes to NYC, I am there to enjoy a night full of magic! The concert was awesome, I think that it started out a bit "cold", and it took a little time for it to reach its climax... I think that maybe it was because the band stopped in between songs (at least the first few songs)... once the concert was more fluid it really made a difference!!! There were a few couples in front of us spoiling the event, taking pictures at themselves throughout the entire concert, getting real drunk and too distracting!. I did not see any security/staff members around that I could talk to to ask them to have these people calm down. Love Alejandro Sanz music, I was there during his last tour, I thought that one was better than this one, but still awesome!. I will definitely BE THERE for his next tour! count me in Alejandro!

From Los Angeles to San Bernardino fighting 2 hrs traffic was definitely an experience in itself but, when I arrived at San Manuel Bingo & Casino and saw a huge poster of Alejandro Sanz, I knew it was gonna be a night I would never forget. I went to the concert with my sister and we both loved it. He is genuine and so cool. His music is great and the whole show is amazing. He played his famous old songs as well as new ones. I didn't know some of them but they sounded great. He has a great voice and his personality reflects in every one of his songs. Your songs touch me very deep way. it was bad!!!!! you couldn't understand what he was singing... very bad audio!!!!! you couldnt see the screans.... bad location... everybody wasnt paying attention it was boring!
