The Delfonics show at B. B. Kings on Times Square in midtown Manhattan exceeded all expectations! They still sound great, we re talking old school soul\u2026.. Dressed alike in their suits, with synchronized moves\u2026 La La La Means I Love You , Hey Love, Didn t I Blow Your Mind This Time . TSOP - beautiful Philly falsetto. Michael Jackson once called them one of his favorite groups.

I was at the Valentine Show at Constitution Hall on 2/16/18 and they were great! Their choreography is really good and they sang their songs so well! Last but certainly not least - I don't think there is another group who can dress as sharp as they can! I'm still shaking my head in amazement on how good they looked in those suits!! I was sitting beside my husband and had a hard time not saying, "YOU GO DELFONICS!!!!!"

The artist were fun to watch and listen to. They brought back a lot of memories of days gone by. San Antonio needs more of these types of concerts. The music was romantic and memorable, some even made you want to dance. All of the artist performed tremdouslly from Barbara Lewis to Tierra and everyone in between. In conclusion, it was an awesome show!

Music was great seating arrangement very good. The DJ hosts were ok, they had too much floor time. Concession stand could have had more variety of food to choose from. San Antonio needs to have more oldies concerts to come to our city. What entertainer would not want to come to this beautiful city. Over all a great show.

Both groups did great performances. It was good to see classic R& B. After all these years Blue Magic, you still got it going on ...those voices are sweet melody. Keep doing the "Side Show"! You guys keep singing those old classics, you really know how to perform. Those suits were something else. Continue to teach the young artist how to perform and sing good, clean and romantic music. Delfonics- classy and well done!

I truly enjoyed the show. I had never seen either group perform in person although I grow up on their music. Although I enjoyed the Delfonics, I truly enjoyed Blue Magic. They both did a great job but the lead singer for Blue Magic knocked it out of the park. The Band was also very good and I would have never guessed they were not the groups band.

The show should have been called the 'Blue Magic and the Delfonics' because the Blue Magic out performed the Delfonics hands down. Blue Magic was well rehearsed while the Delfonics were all over the place. I would see Blue Magic again, but not the Delfonics.

Very well done event. Flow could have been a little better, but not a showstopper. A little disappointed that cameras were not allowed, but then it was announced that artists would be available under canopy if you wanted to take a picture with them. Not everyone has a good quality cell phone camera.

If U missed this show...U missed this show! Every group was amaizing...all angel live and was in excellent voice. The Jones Girl(s)...Started the show...ending w/the "over Man" Garry Butler...each act was part singing, part comedy show...the show flowed well due to the always wonderful Ms. Patty Jackson. Jean Carne...I heart her...the New Stylistics...and the Delfonics rounded out the 4 hour show.

The Love Jam was fantastic. Really enjoyed the Old school songs that you can sing along with. Great memories. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the event. Wished that there was a TV screen positioned along the walls so that you could visually see the performers face. Even with my camera zooming it was hard to see clearly. But all in all the music was awesome.

The concert was everything we expected and then some! Concert events like THIS ONE need to keep being brought to San Antonio. The last event that I attended such as this one, was almost 15 years ago. All the performances were so awesome! My favorites were Peaches & Herb. Thank you for bringing these wonderful music memories our way.

Wow, what a let down. The pictures used to promote the event led me to believe that's who would be at the show. One person came out and was the group Malo. One person! the only high point of the show was Peaches and Herb.

I had a great time at the Super Love Jam! The music was great and the crowd was very responsive to the artists! Not only were the artists good, but some of them had humorous things to say that made everyone laugh. Lots of familiar music so that we could all sing along. The energy was amazing!

My wife enjoyed some of the songs but the performers are too old. Some couldn't even walk to the microphone. Some were very good for their age of course but overall not a good experience. Only if you are a super fan of those groups you can enjoy it.

We spent $45 per person to see a show for only an hour long. I can go see a Tyler Perry play at the Warner Theater longer then that. The Delfonics was good but again the show stopped right at an hour long.

First time seeing the Delfonics in person. I grew up on their music and love it. The show was amazing. I will return to another show if they come to the DMV area The lead singer still sound good after so many years. The two other new members are also good one sound like Sam Cooke to me any way he was great. The youngest one is a homie got to give him some love one and only DC guy. keep doing what you do. First time seeing the beautifully renovated Howard Theatre. Enthusiastic crowd welcomed The Delfonics. Down memory lane with When You Get Right Down 2 It, Trying 2 Make a Fool, RU Gonna Break Your Promise, Love Won't Let Me Wait, and more. Doors opened 6:20 PM, show started 8:10 and ended by 9:10. Lines form 6 PM to get preferred seats, but I was alone and got a prime location. Enjoyed Love Child drink and Shaw Wings, but should have done the hot wings. Prices a little high, but DC club normal. No one can sound the same after a certain age, but I was happy with the show and had no complaints. Young man took the lead only once, and he is very good. Lots of audience participation, but not so bad you paid to hear yourself sing. Plan to return to The Howard Theatre w/a friend on a scooter. Time and money well spent.

Overall the show was very good! Was sorry the Floaters missed their flight and the ChiLites didn't do much...but the other groups were very entertaining and sounded good. Bloodstone had the truest sound...I felt like I was back in the 70s while they were performing. Thanks Bloodstone for taking me back!!!!

All the singers and groups were good. But, I think the best was saved for last, as it was obvious that the crowd "came alive" when Evelyn Champagne King took the stage. There's only 4 months that separate Evelyn and I, both born in 1960. I was raised on her music and it shall be a part of me forever. And Midnight Star was really awesome too! I absolutely loved the show and am very thankful and appreciative that 94.7 The Wave put on this concert and pleased the "old school" genre, especially since those schnooks took 92.3 The Beat from us, with no notice. Old school lives!!!!!
