Pat Travers did a great job as always, but the venue was a bit steril. He began on time (8:00) and finished his set at the assigned minute, 9:00. One hour allowed him to only play a couple of newer songs and about four of his standards. He seemed very compliant to the casino contract. I have seen him in several other venues and he has gone easily for two and a half hours. It wasn't until aftwards when I realized that casino shows likely put a strict limit on playing time in order to get people back out to the floor to lose money gambling. We also paid a bit extra to sit second row center, but the sound seemed to be mixed to the center of the room so the sound was not that good. Rick Derringer was a bit too PBS for me. It seemed a bit kitch.

Rick was everything we expected and more. The music was great and the Q and A session with the audience was so enlightening. His band was tight and his drummer was the happiest guy in the music business. His talent is immense and it is a shame he is not in the R nR HOF.

Every time I see Rick Derringer, it brings back the very best memories, starting from his very first hit Hang On Sloopy when he was with the McCoys!! He started the night off with my favorite song, Still Alive and Well. Thanks Rick!! His guitar playing is still and I think always will be simply outstanding!

I don't know how the other reviews on Derringer were positive. He sounded out of tune and his fingerwork was poor. No offense but he looked like a white smurf. His stage presence was awful. I am so mad that I paid good money to see this loser. He should retire and give the young blood a chance!

Rick & his band were having a lot of fun playing which was contagious, but Rick's amp was just too loud making it actually uncomfortable. Edgar and his band are just an amazing group of musicians all around, all very talented! He still has it after all these years and the tribute to his mom was inspiring. Just had a great time and would see him again!

Rick Derringer / Edgar Winter was a guitarist's dream-show! Rick's bassist was awesome (Charlie Torres). Plays left-hand but strings are reversed; low-downward / high-upward. NUTS! Edgar's guitarist (Doug Rappaport) was every bit as good as Rick (or Eddie VanHalen, Buck Dharma, Richie Blackmore)! Only a sad note: Edgar announced that his mother passed-on just this-past Tuesday; 'guess he's on a plane for the funeral, to meet Johnny, down in Beaumont, TX? She must've been in her 90s (Edwina Winter). The song he dedicated to her was beautiful! All I can remember now, lyrically, is, ". . . why am I so dyin' to live, when I'm just livin' to die?"

Absolutely amazing show! Rick Derringer is still a phenom on guitar, vocals were awesome, met him and band after their set - great guys!!!! Can't say enough about Edgar Winter - the man ROCKS!!! The only negative thing I can say about the show was that it wasn't long enough, missed out on some tunes I would have loved to hear, but given the circumstances (Edgar's mom passed away the day before the show), no complaints here. Y'all keep rockin' now!!! :-)

At 63 Rick is still at the top of his game. He played a lot of McCoys music and kept us moving all night. He's a great guitar player as well as a showman, his back-up drummer and guitar player further enhanced the evening. I would recommend this to anyone who likes 70"s McCoy music.

Rick was very engaging with audience. Guitar solos a bit long and kinda hard to hear. Rick turn it up.

Rick Still got it ,,opened up with still alive and well, and then into guitar s and women... A few new ones , a few I never heard of , the sloopy story ,rock roll,,,encore,,played maybe 1hr 20 min. Missed a few of his classic ( Teenage love affair ) and others. Havent saw him in a few years,, Three piece band could of used another guitar like in the old days , Show was ok , may of been different the second night.

Pat never sounded better! He could have played longer, but was the opening act. Rick played hard and had a ball! The bass player was the star! The drummer missed a few ques and endings, but still a worthy show.

FRONT ROW SEATS. PAT TRAVERS WAS SMOKING.HE BLEW RICK OUT OF THE WATER. I THINK RICK WAS JUST HAVING A N OFF DAY. THE FINGERS WEREN'T WORKING FOR HIM. HE WAS KIND ENOUGH TO SIGN SOME 40 YEAR OLD PHOTOS OF HE AND JOHNNY WINTER FOR ME. RICKS BASS PLAYER WAS THE BOMB.

Bands were good, but could have played another oncore. The casino smoke is terrible. There should be a seperate entrance on the ballroom side for concert going people. And, some kind of stadium seats they could roll in before the show is needed. Seating in the back sucks for views, and it should'nt be that way because the room is'nt too big. Or at least don't let people stand during the show except between songs to applaude and show concert appreciation. But close to home (North Bend), gotta love that.

LOVED THIS SHOW. NOTHING LIKE CRASH N BURN, BOOM BOOM OUT GO THE LIGHTS AND BORN UNDER A BAD SIGN, TO REALLY BRING BACK THE GREAT ROLL-N-ROLL DAYS. TRAVELED FROM VANCOUVER, WA TO SNOQUALMIE AND IT WAS WORTH THE 3 HOUR TRIP. THANKS

Pat Travers and his band showed why he garnered so much attention in the late 70's with a solid set of blues based bar-rock, pulled off with an easy professionalism for an obviously middle-aged crowd peppered with what looked to be ex-musicians. The intimate Snoqualmie Ballroom makes you feel like you've got front row tickets, even when you don't, and the $25 ticket price was easy on the wallet. Rick Derringer, initially hamstrung by some horribly awful opening songs and a bass player with a cheese factor I haven't seen since the Gong Show, finally got around mid-set to a couple instrumentals that allowed him to display the guitar prowess he's known for. Still, Travers was the highlight of the night.

This was a longer show than I imagined it would be. Very intimate setting for such a rockin' show.

Pat Travers still puts on a great show. Rick Derringer played a lot of his new material and it just didn't have the punch.

Pat Traver was awesome. I don't think Rick should headline. PT is the better performer, etc..

With the billing on the ticket I was expecting Pat and Rick to each get the same amount of time to perform at this show, but alas the PT band was the "opening" act. They opened with two new songs (which was cool) but then it was into the hits + "Red House" Despite the fact that Pat's band sounded great (after the too much bass problem was corrected) I was left wanting for more PT songs. First time at that venue for me, which I liked.
