Duke Robillard

My boyfriend was introduced to Duke on a Sirius blues channel. When I saw he was performing at the Coach House, I thought it a perfect surprise for his upcoming birthday. Neither of us was disappointed. The warm-up bands were horrendous. Nevertheless, their performances could not detract, in the least, from the efforts, the mastery, and the showmanship of this Robillard combo. Each musician puts it all on the line as we were swept away into another "audio/sensory" zone. We were amazed the "house" was only a quarter filled for this unbelievable performance. But, it made it all the more savory to us as if we were witnessing this performance at a private party. ABSOLUTELY OUTSTANDING and for only $15 a ticket, I believe it was the bargain concert of the year. Bravo to Mr. Robillard and friends. WOW! We BOTH are now big fans.
