Natalia Lafourcade

Natalia Lafourcade's voice is melodic and full of color. Her dedication to her craft shows, and her contact with the crowd shows that she has a pulse for what people want. The Neptune proved a great place to have a concert in an intimate setting. I hope both Natalia and Diana Gameros (who opened for her) return to Seattle in the near future.

She engaged the audience and the performance was excellent! I love her music and her personality.

Natalia was incredibly amazing! This was the perfect venue to see her perform live because it feels so intimate! The night was truly unforgettable! I would come back to Riverside Municipal Auditorium for another show. Parking was easy, seating was great and it s a smaller venue so any seat in the house is great! I would love to see Natalia Lafourcade again and I would probably see her anywhere, but I m really glad I chose this venue to experience listening to her angelic voice for the first time!

This was my first time seeing Natalie Lafourcade in concert and there was not a moment where I did not enjoy it. She is lovely and her voice is incredible. The energy of the sold out show was amazing to be a part of. I highly recommend her!

Before this show I'd never hear of this woman, now I'm a fan for life.And I don't even speak Spanish, nor do I understand the language.But if this is the language of angels, I've just gotten a taste of heaven.She surrounds herself with the best of the best musicians and the way they play they're just as in love with her as I am.In life you come across 5 star events and people(Desert Trip,1996 World Series,your first trip to Disney World with your kids,the Queen Elizabeth 2 & Queen Mary 2,Sinatra,Pink Floyd,Ennio Marricone..) and now I can add Natalia Lafourcade to the list. I just hear she's playing Lincoln Center in New York for two shows....How was I so Lucky to have seen her in such a small venue.Thank you Sixth & I for one more moment that gives meaning to my favorite saying "On to the next adventure".Thank you Natalia.I got to sit in the presents of greatness in the world of music.

This is real music, talent and good taste. Hope we will be seen more of these great singers perform in California. I'm so happy that I got to see her here. Please bring more like her. We loved her!

Natalia Lafourcade did not disappoint. She was an amazing performer, along with her other 5 band members. They started about a half hour late, but it was worth it. If you are a huge fan of Natalia, you will really enjoy seeing her because she sings her older songs and most of her new ones, and she sings beautifully live. She is also very interactive with her audience, a very humble person.

The show was amazing, it was more than I expected, perfect venue and a great singer made the concert one of the best I experienced. She has an amazing voice and her band makes her shine as the big start she is.

The venue was intimate and the performance was amazing. I didn't like that it was general admission and would have preferred reserving my seats and paying extra for that. On the other hand, the price was very affordable and we waited in line for a short period. Since the event was sponsored by ASU Gammage, they of course had 4 middle rows reserved for their donors, which kind of sucked since most donors are not fans of such a specific genre of music. At times the band's sound was a little too loud and Natalia's voice was drowned and you couldn't understand what she was singing, but when you could hear her, she sounded great. The performance lasted almost 2 hours and she played most of her popular songs. Overall a great performance.

Concert was great. I had fun singing and dancing. Also, how close I was to the singer.

We went into the show not really knowing what to expect but we were hoping for a pleasant surprise. Natalia and her band did just that and more. Not only did we have a great time enjoying her work it seemed like everyone in the theater (including the band) did as well. She is very talented and a true artist. It was a pleasure listening to her music.

Authentic and very talented! Natalia is a hidden gem in the Latino scene. Her music is skillfully performed without all the digitizing.

If I'm honest, I almost didn't go to this show. I'm not Latino, I don't speak Spanish, and my date couldn't make it. But I'm a fan, so I went alone. The venue was an 800 seat synagogue, which is not where you might expect one of the biggest pop acts in Mexico to perform, but it's intimate and amazing. In a theater full of people that obviously were fans and knew her music, I somehow ended up seated between an older gentleman and another white gentleman with his daughter that knew the venue, but not the artist. They came based on the venue and the blurb on their website. They were all very cool. I was glad there was no opening act, because I just wanted to see Natalia. She is easily my favorite artist today, and one of my favorite of all time. When she came on stage, the crowd erupted. I'm sure many had purchased tickets to her Lincoln theater show that was cancelled last year. (I'd purchased the VIP package for that show, so I was doubly heartbroken; but I understood Houston to Dallas to LA made more sense than Houston to DC to LA). Natalia sang flawlessly. She did that little dance she does with her shoulders too. At times one could be forgiven for feeling she was singing directly to you, as I did several times. The set was light on her early work, which made sense because a lot of people here came to know her through her Grammy winning Hasta La Raiz. I purchased three or four of her cds since discovering her music on the 2015 Latin Grammys (and a friend form Durango, Mexico also suggested her to me). I recognized all but three songs. She started with a showcase of slow to mid-tempo songs, but when she picked up the pace, people stood up, waved a huge Mexican flag and moved to the area between the seats and the stage and started dancing. They were ready to party and she did not disappoint. I felt the room's connection to Mexico through Natalia. She spoke several times between songs, which added a more intimate feel to the show. Since I don't understand Spanish fluently, I can only imagine that she something about missing home and the delicious food, and perhaps some of the inspiration for her songs. Tu Si Sabes Quereme has been my jam since late spring and apparently I'm not alone. Her performances of this song were sensual and playful and had everyone on their feet singing along. I'm sure Despicito, or whatever, has many managers telling their clients it's time to crossover to the American market (I'm going to the upcoming Bomba Estereo and Vanessa De Mata concerts too), but Natalia's a once-in-a-generation artist; right up there with Aretha, Adele, and Brasil's Regina Elis. She proves it with each new cd. For my money, Tu Si Sabes Quereme is the song of the year and I hope it receives proper recognition from the academy. She also sang Nunca Es Suficiente and Para Que Sufrir, which are now classics. And everything on Musas transports you "to a time in Mexico." Sometimes she joined the band and played guitar and the sitar/ukulele. Oh, I almost forgot to mention her band is tight, but standup bass player is ridiculous! He reminds me of Flea from the Red Hot Chili Peppers, he's clearly a dude that likes the funk. The only thing that could have possibly made the experience better would have been a meet and greet afterwards. I know that's a lot to ask, even for a small sold-out venue, but considering we don't get to see you often and your next visit here is destined to be at a much larger venue, it may have been a nice opportunity. Until then, I will enjoy my coffee mug and Musas t-shirt. Thank you for a wonderful time!

Natalia is a great performer and if you've been following ever since she started, you'll notice she's grown as an artist. Her music is passionate and you can tell she's enjoying herself and enjoying the company of the audience and her band. It's contagious; it's hard to not sing along or clap along to her songs. Definitely recommend her concerts to anyone; you won't regret it.

This was our first time seeing Natalia LaFourcade in concert. She is incredibly talented. There are very few artists nowadays that still play an instrument, let alone several, and compose their own songs. The way she interacted with the public was outstanding; very down to earth and appreciative of the many compliments people gave her during the concert. She received a well deserved standing ovation from everyone at the theater, and came back out for a couple more songs after she had gone backstage because people was clamoring for her. Kuddos to ASU Gammage/Beyond for bringing such a great artist. Hergerberg Theatre was the perfect venue for this concert. Simply unforgettable!

Natalia was amazing. She was supper nice, talked to the audience, and at the end she signed some autographs and took pictures with fans. The only thing I didnt like is that we wernt allowed into the concert untill close to 9 so those of us who were there at 8 had to wait a while to get in (that was over the border's fault though).

With a genuine smile, a transformative voice and charm gallore Natalia illuminated the Neptune this past Saturday. The sold out show left all of the attendees chanting her name over and over again so that she had to reappear not only once but twice. A treat to all with connections to Mexico, Latin America, or simply to the wonderful sounds of the world. Thank you Natalia for a great night which will be remembered by many for a long long time.

I was expecting this to be like every other gig I've gone to, but Natalia completely blew me away! Her opener only played a couple of songs and Natalia ended up playing over 2 hours. Her charisma, her constant appreciation, and natural talent got everyone cheering for joy after every tune. I will never forget this gig!

So I attended her concert in Riverside, CA (late may I add) and she was seriously the best and most energetic artist I have had the honor/privilege of seeing live! I sat in the balcony seats and totally wish I could have had the chance to sit down in the Floor (General Admission) area instead because the crowd were definitely more fun and more energetic down there. She actually pulled some fans up on stage with her! And towards the end of the concert signaled the crowd to get up out of their seats and approach the stage (as opposed to staying seated and just dance from there.) She sang from her album Hasta La Raiz and obviously from Musas Vol. 1 & 2. She is so cool and fun that she interacted with the crowd throughout the concert. I am so glad I went! Even if I did end up being late!

The Riverside Municipal Auditorium is small venue but is a great place for someone like Natalie to perform. She is amazing! We cant believe such a voice comes from petite woman. She sang for 2 hours straight.

I am a new fan of about a year. I had been following her to find out when she would be in town and, i am definitely glad that i was able to see her. I did not know what to expect but she was absolutely amazing. Her show had so much energy. She is to beautiful for words. and her band made it that much better.

My biggest hope was Natalia would sing La Llorona. And she actually opened the show with it. Just her with an acoustic guitar and a trumpet. Omg amazing, thought I was going to cry

It s a good venue has more than enough places to get a drink and some food. The concert was beyond amazing and the after party is always worth staying and dancing all different types of music.

I have been to several concerts of Natalia, and I am still surprised on how versatile she is, and all the energy she displays in the stage. Concerts always cover all stages of her music, the early ones and the latest hits. She is always in a great mood and interacts with the public . My only complain is that she does not come to Dallas more often... oh, and of course I lover her music!!

Not only because she is Mexican but because she is an icon of Latin American Music and exceptional artist.

This is the 4th time I see Natalia Lafourcade. And although she was amazing, the sound system was horrible! I don t think I ll ever go to the House of Boise again!

Natalia is an amazing artist - her voice is phenomenal, her charisma is unique, and her passion for music is contagious. The event was family friendly - my husband, my kids, and I were able to enjoy it together. She sang songs from her old albums and her newest production, remaining true to her unique artistic style. She accepted a couple of her fans' gifts with gratitude and thanked them over the microphone, making the show feel honest and organic. The most organic part of the experience happened at the end, when she sang Partir de mi to a mesmerized audience, enchanting them with just her voice and guitar. What a beautiful performance. An unforgettable night.

Natalia Lafourcade is a talented, gifted musician who is amazing on stage. She knows how to put on a fantastic show. She performed for at least two and a half hours, probably the longest performance by one musician I have ever seen. Center Stage Theater was a great venue for the show. The acoustics were excellent, and the steep stadium seating was spacious and offered a close, unobstructed view. I would definitely return to the theater, and I would recommend Natalia Lafourcade to anyone, even if you don't speak Spanish.

She was excellent. Having the screens would have been helpful.

She was really amazing, sounded even better live than in her albums if that is even possible, although she started at 9 not at 7, she was so nice, a girl ran to her on stage and Natalia didn t get mad or anything, she even invited other girls to go up to the stage to dance with her.The venue was not so great, her microphone didn t work at the beginning of one song, keyboards didn t work, they didn t have her on side panels like they usually have artists for people further from the stage to see. They were selling tacos inside the venue and since the place was very small, we all ended up smelling like grease from tacos.

This artist was brilliant. She was fun, humble, and she sounded great, at least as good as her studio sound if not better. She and her band were workhorses too; it felt like they played forever and took almost no breaks. The venue was also great....until it wasn t. About 40 minutes before the end of the show, the room started to fill with the odor of second hand smoke. It was so thick that I felt nauseated in my seat, and I left with a headache. I scanned the room for the culprits, but I couldn t find anyone, even though a cherry red cigarette would have stood out well. The parking garage underneath the venue also reeked of cigarettes, so it s possible the intake for the building is in the parking garage underneath.

Natalia is awesome, she is the absolute best. Really enjoyed her concert. The place is not huge, so you could walk around without losing your friends, we could easily buy drinks in the venue, all made it very cozy and intimate. Just remember, DON'T take computers with you!! They won't let you go in!

Natalia Lafourcade did amazing, but Warner Theater screwed her over. The sound system failed, they told her to start a song , it failed again. Many people left . Very sad

The venue was beautiful and the experience was amazing. Her band is so talented, she is unbelievable. She interacted a lot with the fans, she was very professional even after technical difficulties. She definitely gave everyone an amazing experience.

There were times when I wasn't even present. It felt like she took me to another universe and I was in a trance. It's limiting trying to contain the experience to words. If you love someone and you want them to feel it, take them to see her. I love you Natalia! Thank you for this unforgettable experience.

I have followed Natalia Lafourcade's music for years but I had never attended her concerts. Listening to her sing live is just incredible. Her voice is so soothing and her lyrics touch your soul. She is such a great human being with a lot of positive energy, her connection to the planet and to all people is inspiring. I enjoyed every moment of it and will definitely see her again next time she comes around.

I was expecting something else\u2026. I like Natalia, her style and voice. This is the first time I go to one of her concerts, she is very energetic and charismatic but hard to understand the lyrics. This could be because all the noisy millenniums that attended the concert.

This concert blew my mind away. I have never experienced such greatness. She has such great energy. I am amazed by her and her music.

My wife and I do not speak any Spanish but we really enjoyed watching Natalia Lafourcade. She is very classy and enthusiastic about what she does. Although we had never heard of her before going to her show at the beautiful Aztec Theater in San Antonio, we could tell she was very popular among the people there with the crowd chanting her name 15 minutes before the start of the show. If we ever have the chance we would definitely see another show of hers.
