Tony Toni Tone

This was a road trip for me and my sister. Well worth the drive had a good time.

I loved the show they all did amazing! I loved being so close to see their faces! I would love to see them again in concert and meet them to! I loved every minute and I love that I can say I've seen them in person:) htown and Tony Toni tone had a bomb performance!!! love these groups!

We couldn't get in the auditorium until 7:30. When we got in we could only stand in the lobby because they were doing sound checks still. Well Tony, Toni was because they got there late. We were let in a 8( the time the show was scheduled to start at 8). The show finally started at 9:15 with Silk. Silk was good and next Dru Hill came on, they were even better. Dru Hill had to leave the stage and didn't get to do their last song Five Steps). Tony, Toni was the headliner , they did perform well but the hype went away. People started leaving to get to the after party.

Even though H- Town was short a man and Raphael wasn't there, these two power house groups from the 90's carried on in style. Neither group ever missed a beat. H-Town still managed to get the ladies all hot and bothered. Dwayne Wiggins' range on the guitar is mind boggling. This was a great show. Worth every penny.

Dru Hill was phenomenal, but they were made to leave the stage early due to the show running late--boo!

Silk, Dru Hill with Sisqo were just like the old school days. Tony, Toni were good, but Tone was not there and it took something from their performance. Overall it was a good show for the money! Would love to see them perform again.

The opener was awesome. Very talented voice. Silk did a great performance!! A lot of audience participation! Dru Hill was unforgettable!!! I loved seeing them preform. Was upset they cut the show short since they started late.

I loved all performers, but Dru Hill turned it out!!!

The music was way too loud and you couldn t hear the artists. Tony, Toni, Tony was horrible. They should never be billed again!!!!

This was a great show. All the artist were on point and sounded like themselves and most importantly the show started on time 8pm and ended 12:45am. We definitely got our monies worth!!!!!

U kidding me.. 1 bathroom for each floor. Almost peed on myself. Add alcohol and its worse! As for the show. It was ok. Would i have bought it knowing KC and Jojo was not going.. nope. I heard they flaked at another show too. Dont know if thats how they get people to buy tickets. Wacked!

I enjoyed all the acts EXCEPT the main act Tony Tone Toni. They should not be head lining the show. There main singer of all there hits included Rafael Sidiq and he is no longer apart of their shows and the people should of known that. So we and a great deal of otters left. Other than that the show was great! But Tony Tone Toni was a big disappointment!

All the artist that performed gave a great performance. The Long Beach Convention Center was a beautiful venue. The building was lit up with beautiful lights and is right in the middle of downtown Long Beach.

Sound system wasn t great but it was ok and too many people up on the stage sidelined

My seats were on the forth row so I was close to the stage....and the sound system was horrible. Myself and the people (who I did not know) who sat on rows behind me and in front - and others on my row were all talking about how we couldn't hear anything. We defiantly could not understand any of the talking but....even with songs we were unable to hear the words of the song. So basically we paid for garbled sounds. This was a complete waste of money. I've been told by someone else they attended an event at the location and the sound system was great. Maybe the lesson is not to sit up close here.

First of all... The Sound was too loud and you could bearly hear the vocals and over consumed with instruments!!! Secondly, Christopher Williams was a disappointment!!!! He only sang one of his songs and it was not one of his hit songs. He sang Luther songs, Marvin saps song and only one of his own Then he preached on the Bible for another 5 min. totally destroyed the vibe!!! Lastly, Tony, Tonie, Toney was disorganised and sounded terrible. The new replacement is no comparrison to the reak rafiel!!! As a true TTT fan, I walked out!! John B and sisco and michell was the bomb... They kiled it and saved the day...

This show was horrible from the sound to the artist themselves, leave Christopher Williams at home, along with All Sure. And where was the most important Toni, thanks dru-hill for not having the one thick dude who can really sing. Wack

Everything went great. The only thing I think would have made it better was the mics or sound system it sound cracky and some of the performances you heard the music more then the singer . I still enjoyed myself though

It was so loud that me and my wife had to walk out several times and sit in the lobby. Poodle streamed out during the headlining act (Toni tone tony). It was like they had no one to due a sound check. So disappointed! Big waste of time and precious hearing.

This show was off da chain, raised the roof, and da bomb! Lol. It took me back in time to my favorite music era. All the artist had great sets. I think Dru Hill killed it the best. The venue was great also. Lots of room, well ventilated, and clean. Don t listen to the negative reviews. Toni, Tony, Tone is worth seeing live for the true 90 s R&B fans.

The group Tony Toni Tone was horrible. I will Never go see them again. They was so bad people was walking out 10 minutes after they got on stage. It was only 2 ppl out of the 3 . I enjoyed everything else but them.

Simply awful!!! They were very late, not prepared at all, many technical issues

This concert was HORRIBLE. The group started over 2 hours late. The sound was horrible and the group was worse than horrible. We and most of the audience left after 4 songs. Disappointing way to spend New Year Eve

Tony Toni Tone has an incredible catalogue of music for its fanbase, however, their stage performance at the Arena Theatre truly warrants an apologetic-refund to their Houston fans, if they are interested in ever performing any future shows in Houston. Word of mouth could easily obstruct them from ever having a venue in Houston in the future, in the absence of a sincere apology and refund to their fans for their disappointing concert on New Years Eve in Houston. My wife and I were celebrating our wedding anniversary as well as New Years Eve, and we witnessed droves of fans leaving the concert in disappointment as Tony Toni Tone's set unfolded.

The 2 hr preshow was awesome. Had I known that there was only one remaining member of the group left I never would've gone.

The music was so loud, you could not understand the words of the songs. Appears the band did not perform sound checks before their performance, and the concert started over 2 hours late on New Years Eve! We left after 40 minutes, while many others left much sooner. Our opinion...Refund please!

Concert was terrible. Took entirely too long to come out. Only 2 performers showed up. Rushed through every song. Crowds of people had walked out on them.

The mere fact the show was suppose to start at 8:30 and they didn t show up until 11:00 was very disappointing... The songs were not the ones I was expecting to be sung from a group that has not been on the scene for a while ... Time and money was wasted on this concert!

The concert was horrible and I felt I wasted my money.

the show started late with an advertised 8:30 start. the opening act came out at 9:20 and played 4-5 songs. there was a gap during which a dj played music but Tony Toni Tone didn't come out until after 11:00. They sounded unprepared and out of tune. The dj stsrted playing music over them twice. There only appeared to be 2 of 3 band members on the stsge. We left after two songs.

It started too late and then they we're not good at all left within 30 minutes of their performance.

I don't even know where to begin... We waited what seemed like an eternity for Tony Toni Tone to come on stage and shortly after 11p they finally appear but were minus one. The audience was a bit shocked but tried to enjoy the show... after two songs ONLY they began the introductions of their band members (some whom they just met the night before the show). At this point the audience began to exit the building in droves. We sat a while to see if things would get better once they resumed singing the songs we were anxiously waiting to hear, but they never continued in song after about a 10 minute period so we too departed. I feel the artists who come to Houston to perform should respect our city as a reputable one, and realize they cannot do us any way. We wont and don't tolerate it... I wish we could ALL have our money back as this was a total waste of time, seeing that the best part of the night was the DJ who did a nice job of keeping us entertained as we waited. A refund is definitely in order because this show was TRASH!

The main act was disappointing. They came out late and didn't sound all that great. On top of that they were not even singing their own music.

I was expecting an 8:30pm show (9:30 at the latest). I ended up leaving after 11pm and still no concert had started. Very disappointed I wanted to see the show before my New Year's event. Should have been told they would not come on stage until almost midnight waist of a New Year Eve. The DJ was great despite.

Tons of energy, played all the hits, and sounded fantastic. Highly recommend seeing them.

I enjoyed the whole show...the host was great.. I dance the whole night

This was an amazing show the only draw back was "Silk" they were horrible I feel asleep from boredom. However the other acts were fabulous Kwmae, Moni Love, Dana Dane, Chubb Rock, Tony Toni Tone, Dru Hill, H-Town

It was great but of course Tony Toni Tone could have been better. Everything was awesome just got tired towards the end. Other then that had a great time.

Pretty good show. Went two years ago as well. Always a good time.

The ushers were rude, the sound system was awe full and the headliners the main group we wanted to see didn't show

I actually LOVED all the groups and was surprised that Total was there. I knew there were a lot of groups, but was very impressed how great it was up until the last group. The group I wanted to see the most was Toni,Tony,Tone. Every group up until them sounded amazing. When Toni, Tony, Tone came on they had it WAY TOO LOUD. It was like they turned it up full blast when they came out. I noticed a lot of people leaving and I can see why. I could not even understand what song they were singing. It was so loud that the feed back on the microphone was awful. We were down in the front and when we left, even outside in the upper hall it was loud, but not as bad. I love loud music, but when you cannot even understand what song they are singing it is pretty bad. I suggest you keep the volume at the same level you did for Silk. I will say out of the entire thing Silk and Sisqo where the best. Very disappointed, because I LOVE TONY, TONI, TONE. We ended up getting up and leaving like many people did.

Total was good, Dru Hill was good, the Alumni were great. Silk looked a hot mess and are too old to be doing the sexual stage act. They also sang too many songs. 3 additional acts before Tony Tone came out had me yawning. Tony Tone are wack without the main voice we all know and love...Rafael.

I can't wait until the next one! I loved every body that came out!

I think this was one of the worse concerts I have been to. Without the original lead singer, the instruments were louder that the vocalist. The vocalist seemed to yell more than sing. They performed for no more than 50 minutes. It was a waste of time and money.

I wish the background music was not so over bearing! It was a technical issue that could have made the experience absolutely wonderful. As it stands it was okay.

I was very disappointed that the sound system was horrible it was drowning out the vocals.Artist not knowing the words to the song. Also I was looking forward in seeing Rapheal Saadiq.

Toni, Toni, Toni was a decent show... But had a lot if short comings... First the chairs were butted against each other. At a music concert where people might/ did get inspired to move and shake? There was mic feedback they couldn't solve that affected the sound quality! It was way over amplified (Too loud, and instruments over rode the mics). Toni showed for only an hour... Its an adult venue! Once tou found your seat, you was stuck, so no drinks!

Tony Tone Toni was great loved the live band and live singing ; but the opening act was NOT good at all Wrecks n Effect; they need to get better opening acts; but Tonys were awesome!!!! Their voices were excellent just like orignal band members or like they era never changed..

The overall expression of the show is a HAM (hot ass mess) the opening act lip sang some of their songs and spent a short amount of time on stage. Tony Toni Tone basically just NO the leader singer didn't really know the words to some of their songs so he made up words. Dwayne displayed unprofessional behavior too busy trying to pick up women to perform. We paid too much money to see such a poor show Never again would I go and see this group.

What a fantastic show! Great vocals. The live band was amazing. They sounded as incredible as they did 20 years ago. If not better! They started on time and they kept the crowd going the entire time. I would see them again in a heartbeat.

It was a great show. They sang all the hits. The drummer was off the chain. The performance was excellent. Never had 2nd row seats, so I was dancing all night long.

The show was good, seating was good. Color Me Badd was awesome. I did have a problem with the stage crew; when setting up Tony Toni, Tone set I was able to see everything that was happening. Also during they performance the two ladies on the side of the stage that was a bit tacky I should have not been able to see them. I paid to see the artists not extras! Overall brought tickets for my sister for an early birthday gift and she enjoyed herself.

Color me Badd was the opening act they were okay but at times there was lip singing going on with some of the group members. Tony Toni Tone was a serious hot mess Dwayne at times didn't act interested in performing too busy trying to pick up women from the audience. The lead singer they need to throw him back didn't know some of the words to their songs so he made them up. We will never go to one of their concerts again. A disgrace to old school artist!

Color Me Badd sounded good. Tony Toni Tone was excellent! They played most of their hits and sounded amazing. Amir does a great job of sounding like Raphael while not trying to be him. Dwayne was as great as ever. The band sounding wonderful and the show kept the audience out of their seats. I loved it.

Great show!! Wanted to see Raphael saadiq!! The band was great, music was awesome!!! A lil short tho!!!

My all time favorite group! I thought I may be disappointed with Raphael Saadiq not being the lead singer, but I was pleasantly surprised the show was great and his replacement Had the same styling and a similar voice... Maybe even a better voice?!?!

I didn;t enjoy the concert. It wasn't what I expected. Tony Toni Tone didn't have original group memebers. It was only Dwayne. The signing was not good. The other groups I didn't know there songs except for one song each group. We where told we had assigned seats and it was all open seats.

Awesome show!!! Very entertaining! Real live music!!

This concert brought back memories of earlier times. I enjoyed the trip down memory lane. I drove 200 miles to see this concert and I have no regrets.

Silk, Jagged Edge, Al B Sure, and Tony Toni Tone put on an excellent show. It brought quality entertainment to Albany, Georgia. Can't wait until next year!

This rating would have been higher had Al B Sure not been involved but (sigh) he was. Al B Sure opened and this man had a 45 min set and performed 3 songs (kareoke style), talked a bunch of nonsense and made me realized that I can never get that 45 minutes of my life back. He should have at least brought a band (or borrowed some of TTTs). He ended (of course) with "Nite and Day". His voice was still decent but his performance was laughable. Tony Toni Tone represented better as the headliners and the family-based band (without Raphael Saddiq, who was the face and voice of the group..now off doing bigger better things) did their thing with the other two "tonys" on lead guitar and drums and a cousin taking over the Raphael vocals. The musicianship was there and they did justice to all of their biggest hits. Cuz doesn't have the vocal range nor stage presence of Saddiq but he did a passable job. They also paid a nice homage to other SF/Oakland area groups. I would recommend TTT if they tour back in area again. Unfortunately the sound system and acoustics in Harrahs leave something to be desired.

thank you Harrahs for having music icons that adults could appreciate! the show was amazing and i had a great time.

1st off, the guys still have it & look as FLY as EVER. Unfortunately, there were many people who assumed that the Lead Singer performing that night was none other than Ralphael Saddiq, it was not. However, halfway thru the performance, the extremely gifted singer/musician paid homage to even being compared to Ralphael & informed the crowd he was indeed his cousin which was commendable. It was important to us as music lovers & those who immediately knew that he was not the lead singer we grew up listening too & who still follow Ralphael! Needless to say, the original group members ROCKED OUT & in true Tony's Fashion performed their HITS without a glitch (despite having horrible sound techs @ the Harrah's). Lastly, Al B. Sure opened the show with one of his sons & another younger guy...let's just say if it had not been for crowd participatiion (crickets).

Duane did a good job and so did raphael's cousin as Raphael Saadiq could not make it. I really wanted to see Raphael and hear tracks from his solo album as well.

I will never again see a concert with these two groups!
