Gaither Vocal Band

The Gaither Vocal Band was awesome in Pikeville Saturday night. Exciting and upbeat Christian music, family friendly, a mix of old memories and energetic new songs--we loved every minute!! Expo Center easy to get in and around, parking convenient, no stress or chaos to attend a great musical evening. Would recommend to All!!

The Gaithers never fail to deliver an uplifting spiritual night. God was evident and we could feel His power and presence. Grateful for the delivery of God's love through music.

The music was outstanding. Some moments were very loud. The comic moments were ok, but seem a little too rehearsed. Funny overall.

They never sounded better. With 5 of them they can do wonderful combinations. Their voice are so good together and the 5th person makes alot of difference in the sound and quality. I just can't say enough. Can't wait for the DVD to come out it will go with our collection of their music. Bill works very hard, I think, to provide artist not only with the best voices in the business but of very strong character. Having Michael, David and Mark back is so great. I just can't wait to see what they all do together. I know one thing it just leaves us wanting more. Welcome back Michael we love you.

Uplifting and inspiring! Lots of the oldies with a couple of new songs.

I drove from Houston, Texas to see the Gaither Vocal Band perform in San Antonio. I have spent the last 6 years watching videos on YouTube, and catching some shows on Gospel Music Channel every chance I get. To actually witness their show in person was like a dream. David, Wes, Michael, Mark, and Bill were truly amazing. Their gifted voices, and genuine fellowship was great to see in person. Thanks guys for sharing your voices,

The concert melted our hearts quickly and brought a heavenly peace to us. Prior to arriving, we had to face a conflict that could've ruined the entire evening. The Gaither anointing was apparent right from the start. It was an honor to see local choir & orchestra members from Community Bible Church. That added a special and personal dimension to the performance.

What a wonderful experience! The evening was filled with delightful humor and fabulous music. It was a wonderful evening.

The setting was perfect in The Majestic Theater. It was great to see Michael English back with his exceptional ability to minister a song - his humility seemed genuine and was very touching. Mark Lowery was in great form with a touch of "preach" that I hadn't seen in him before. Not just funny and a real hoot, but very touching to see that part of ministry in the concert. I am not as familiar with Wes, but truly a fan. However, I don't think that I enjoy listening to anyone as much as I do David Phelps. My all time favorite. Kevin is a huge accent - his humor much loved! And the Inspirational glue that holds it all together, Bill and Gloria. The entire community of Gaither Concert contributors from the pianist as well as all the musicians to the tech crew is a perfect blend of "Ministry".

The event was memorable from beginning to end. All five men are incredible soloists, but when blended together, they are unforgettable. The show is perfectly blended with humor, spiritual intensity, and rocking good times. The Isaacs was a great addition to the show. Keep David Phillips' opera number in. It was too beautiful for words.

I have been to hundreds of concerts in my life and this is the most awesome concert I have ever attended!! The voices in this group are the most incredible I have ever heard. I could have listened for days!! David Phelps even sang an opera tune. It was wonderful. I would like to have a recording of it!! I was doing fine with containing my composure until they sang "I Believe in a Hill Called Mount Calvary." I don't see how anyone could have heard the way they sang that song without having tears stream down their faces. As a matter of fact, I didn't see any dry faces. I hope they return really soon!!

We went to the Gaither Vocal Band concert and it was wonderful. I enjoyed the music and the comedy. And I was mostly excited because I had such great seats. I could almost shake hand with them from my chair. I never cease to be amazed at what talent there is in this group of guys. It was truly a blessing and I needed it!

Four hours of unbelievable, awesome, amazing Christian music. Every part of it was superb!!!!

This concert was truly amazing to be a part of and the Lord was definitely lifted up through praise and song! Bill Gaither was actually filming the concert for an upcoming video that he will be producing. The night was filled with incredible vocals and music from the Vocal Band, hilarious comedy from Mark Lowry, the Issacs with their inspiring family harmonys and the Crabbs also sang two great songs. I would highly recommend this concert. It was a much better experience at the Majestic than at the AT&T center.

This was some of the greatest gospel music I have ever heard! So much talent in that group. It was well worth the price I paid for the ticket. Hope they come back to San Antonio soon! Best entertainment around!

I've attended all Gaither Concerts held in San Antonio. However, last night @ the Majestic Theater superseded all my expectations!!! AWESOME from beginning to end. We even had the pleasure of meeting and getting an autograph from Bill Gaither. What a way to end such an inspirational singing concert. God Bless this wonderful group of Christian artists!!!

The Gaither Vocal Band was wonderful. The choices of music were right on. The audience was enthusiastic and demonstrative. Bill Gaither was candid, personable, and creative as the night went on. He was free to change up the plan as things went along. The Isachs were the very best I have heard them. The former and present Vocal Band members sang together and in all combinations of voices. It was real and fun and touching. we loved it.

The Gaither Vocal Band brought together an audience from different walks of life, that proved to have one thing in common: the love of gospel music as a means of expressing their love for God. It was a musically wonderful concert, but also an act of worship. Audience participation was encouraged and appreciated. The concert provided something that is missing in the worship experiences of many churches today, proving all ages miss hearing and singing hymns. The exquisite harmony of the vocal band, coupled with their sincerity in transferring the emotion and message of the music to the audience made for a memorable evening. The only negative was some of what was meant as humor was a bit corny/dated.

Where else, other than a Gaither performance, would you get a non-stop 4-hour show? It was phenomenal Christian music in a loving atmosphere I wish had never ended.

This was so cool!!!!! I can not wait for the DVD and I will not miss them at all when they come to Texas. WOW - What a night.

The Gaither Vocal Band is wonderfully entertaining-- great music, great songs, fun, energetic and even comedic. It was a special surprise, having never heard of them before (okay, I live in the dark) as I simply purchased the tickets for a night out with my wife. They entertained for over three hours! There wasn't a down moment the entire night. I'm 42 years old and had never listened to gospel. What a way to be introduced. What a treat.

This concert measured up to more than what I expected. It was great seeing Mark Lowry, David Phelps, and Michael English back with the Vocal Band. I also enjoyes the Isaacs and especially Jason Crabb. I hope they all can come back to San Antonio soon.

It was a wonderful evening of sharing God's love in song. It was great to see some old/new faces--David Phelps, Mark Lowry and Michael English!!! Keep on sharing the gospel of Jesus' love.

This concert surpassed my expectations and that's saying alot since the GVB has set the bar awefully high! The venue was goregous and the talent was indescribable. Thank GOD these men were obedient to using their talents for God's glory!

A wonderful night of Spirit filled entertainment. Way more than we expected.

This event was unbelievable. Even though it was long, the time flew by and we got a lot for our money. After being there I am even more anxious to buy the resulting DVD/CD. While it went on for 4 hours, I wanted more, I could have stayed for 4 more hours easily. Unforgettable experience!

It was great! I enjoyed the variety of music as well as the comedy by Kevin and Mark. I never thought they would be able to have another piano player that was so good, but he was great. I was surprised that they did not have merchandise that the audience could purchase. That was the only disappointing part. I would go again to their concert at that location but would want to make sure I had a closer seat.

The Majestic Theatre alone is an event in itself. Absolutely beautiful theatre and the acoustics were fantastic. (I wear two hearing aids and being able to hear everything in an event/building such as this is very difficult at times, but not this event!) The Gather Vocal Band was at the top of what they do. Three hours without an intermission, which was fine. Probably one of the very best gospel concerts I have ever attended from every perspective. i.e. sound, program, energy, etc.

As always, they were awesome! It was the third time I've attended one of their concerts, and the first for my friends that came with me. Can't wait for the DVD!

Such amazing talent from God. Absolutely loved listening to and singing with this amazing group of People. So glad that Charlotte Ritchie and Gene McDonald were also there. Would love for Bill to set up a Homecoming concert in Dodge City some day. Would highly recommend this concert to anyone and everyone that loves Christian music.

I had watched the Gaither Homecoming specials on television and was excited to go see them when I learned that they were coming to Dodge City. I enjoyed the whole concert but was blown away by Gene McDonald and his awesome voice!! I immediately went online and listened to other songs sung by him. What an awesome voice and we are so blessed that he shares it with us as he praises God!

The music was both classic and contemporary. The harmony was impeccable Southern Gospel! The venue was great! To hear the 82 year old Bill Gaither sing The King is Coming was worth the price of the ticket! The cost was relatively low when compared to other groups!

GVB are great vocalists, but others are as good. What really makes them standout is their comedy. Gene McDonald was a very pleasant surprise as a guest. Put it all together and the show is hard to beat. If you're looking for wholesome entertainment take a look at the Gaithers. You'll likely enjoy the show even if gospel isn't your typical genre.

An amazing, uplifting, soul-enriching experience! In this day and age we could use a Lot of Good News and this Concert had it in abundance!!

The lineup was smaller than usual, but the quality was outstanding. The music filled my soul.

We have went to several Gaither Vocal Band concerts and they are always a blessing to hear. They sings beautifully with great harmony. They keep the show moving and it is a great show and funny also.

The concert was a disappointment. None of the famous Gaither performers were in attendance. Not worthy of the venue.

The Band's voices created a beautiful sound to our Lord! The music (both instruments and vocals) was truly amazing. And the good-natured back-and-forth between Bill and Mark Levin was hilarious! Very nice evening!

Great concert, awesome seats; the only obstacle was no center aisle existed. To leave your seat was a challenge, exiting over 30 people in either direction.

This was the best concert I have ever seen. Very high quality. Definitely got your money's worth. I want to see them the next time they are in town. They made my day.

I have had the pleasure of being to numerous Gaither concerts. Each concerts leaves you smiling, singing and laughing. For the price of the tickets, you get so much show for your money.

This was truly great music. There was good variety, good comedy, and spiritually uplifting moments.

From the moment the program started you could feel the energy and calming effect it brought to the audience. The group sound was magnificent, the voices painted a verbal picture of what was being sung. It was a night where the audience joined in on the developing energy. GVB drew the audience in and gave them a performance that out shown all previous shows. They not only sang gospel, but oldies that made you feel a part of the group. A good use of humor ran through out the night. No one person out-shone an other. Everyone worked to make it an evening of joy, great fun, and relaxation. Having brought people ho never saw the Gaither Vocal Band ever and stating they want to see them again here in Milwaukee was uplifting. A super night, worth every cent spent. Hope they return soon.

The Gaither were awe inspiring on Friday eve. The atmosphere of The Milwaukee Theater added to the performance. What a beautiful place with wonderful sound! The Group gave a soul filled , song filled, joy filled, God filled performance. Always a rare opportunity to sing along and listen to spectacular vocals, especially David Phelps. If you ever have a chance to attend a concert and enjoy Christian Gospel music , choose The Gaithers.

The Gaither Vocal Band concert was truly one of the best I have been to. Their music was so uplifting and spiritual. The atmosphere was filled with love and and all cares of the world melted away. Bill Gaither still knows how to get the crowd excited and involved. He and Kevin Williams had us in stitches laughing so hard at their jokes and jabs at each other. If you want to hear beautiful harmony and strong vocal songs of praise you have to come to a Gaither Vocal Band concert.

The length was perfect. They sang songs I enjoyed so much over the years.

I love going and listening to the music and just praise the Lord in a spirit filled place. It really is relaxing and peaceful, joyful time.

Bill Gaither always bring out the best in his crew and this was no exception. They all did a great job. Looking forward to there next concert in Greensboro.

If you don't feel close to God after attending a evening with the Gaither Vocal Band, you never will. These guys are incredible. My boyfriend bought me their 20 CD box set at the concert. He said he has never know me to love anything as much as I love listening to them. I listed to them everyday but after seeing them in person, it makes me know I can face tomorrow.

Bill Gaither always finds the best of the best for this group. This group of men is no exception. Great harmony and song. Charlotte Ritchie was also on game along with the incomparable Gene McDonald. My favorite is Wes Hampton. He has only gotten better with age!

Whether you are a devoted Christian or simply love five part harmonies this is the show for you! It is packed with several goosebumps moments and phenomenal singers that will leave an impression on you forever.

It was a great event, I had never been to this facility bit it was first class. The singing and performance was ome of the best I had been to in awhile.

The Gaither Brothers were in fine form as usual with a new edition being interviewed, Jason Crabb. I hope they come to a mutual agreement and he stays with them. Buddy Green was a hoot and sharp as a tack on the harmonica. All the extra guests were just wonderful but the topper was the addition of the 70 Church Choirs as back up singers, after a fashion. And the Hallelujah chorus from the choir was amazing. And the Indianapolis Children's Choir was fun to watch, only wish they could have done a couple of more songs. I seriously doubt anyone would have minded staying a few minutes longer, or a couple of hours for that matter.

I have been a fan for many years and have seen Michael and David in separate events, but this is the first time I have heard the Gaither Vocal Band live. It was awesome and well worth the trip from Breckenridge Colorado to attend. David Phelps is the greatest singer I have ever heard and at 72 years of age I have heard a few.

Had the best time had great seats. It was so much more better than I thought it was going to be.

I have been a Gaithers fan since I was young and have always wanted to see them live. I got these tickets from my Mom for my birthday this year and it is by far the most amazing gift I have ever received. The opening groups were amazing and the Gaither Vocal Band---WOW!!!! It was such a great feeling to see Mark Lowery and David Phelps return to the GVB. Most importantly though, this was such an amazing worship experience. To know that the room was full of Christians from across denominational lines all celebrating and worshipping God together was a phenominal experience that only the Gaithers could have put together.

I have attended these performances for many years now. Each time I leave with a spiritual nourishment; and this time was no different. They bring a message through song like no others.

ATTENDED THE GAITHER VOCAL BAND REUNITED TOUR CONCERT LAST NIGHT IN BATON ROUGE, LA AT THE RIVER CENTER ARENA AND WAS AWED!!! IT WAS FANTASTIC!!! I HAVE BEEN A GAITHER FAN FOR YEARS BUT THIS WAS MY FIRST CONCERT I HAVE SEEN THEM IN. THE SOUND, VOICES, COMEDY WAS TERRIFIC! I AM SO GLAD BILL BROUGHT BACK THE BEST ONES--DAVID PHELPS--MICHAEL ENGLISH--AND THEY JUST AREN'T THE GAITHERS WITHOUT MARK LOWRY!!! DAVID PHELPS PERFORMED SPECTACULAR (HE IS MY ALL TIME FAVORITE) WITH HIS HIGH TENOR NOTES AND BEAUTIFUL VOICE. MICHAEL ENGLISH REALLY BROUGHT OUT THE BAND WITH HIS STRONG VOICE, I HAVEN'T HEARD WES HAMPTON MUCH BUT HE IS A REALLY GOOD SINGER!!!-- AND OF COURSE MARK LOWRY WITH HIS FUNNY ANTICS REALLY MAKES THE GAITHER CONCERT MORE REMARKABLE(HA!) BILL GAITHER HAS REALLY OUTDONE HIMSELF THIS TIME WITH THE BEST GAITHER VOCAL BAND EVER!!!! THIS MAY HAVE BEEN MY FIRST BUT IT WON'T BE MY LAST!!!!!!! I RECOMMEND EVERYONE THAT CAN TO ATTEND!!!!

The kept playing and the crowd loved them! A great group of people with an important message. Glad to see Mark Lowrey with them again! He Rocks!!!

We love the Gaithers. Their sound and music are like no other group. They always have an excellent program. We attend their concerts as often as we can.

My first time to see the Gaither band in person with Todd Suttles and Adam Crabb. I thoroughly enjoyed it! Great seats in the middle of the first level up off the floor. The only drawback was those who continually got up on the floor and went out with kids and then came back shortly. It blocked our view. Perhaps I ll choose higher than first row next time.

I have attended concerts before, but The Gaither Vocal Band was the BEST by far. Very satisfied with the performance. Highly recommended to family and friends.

The Gaither Vocal Group continues to be a blessing. Between the talent and the fun sparring, people of all ages will enjoy this show. Every time I see this group, I bring someone new and NO ONE is every disappointed. Must see Gospel Fun!!

The Gaither Vocal Band Concert was excellent and a blessing to each of us in attendance! What a great evening of worship and music! I d highly recommend this concert if they were to return to our area!

This was truly a great wonderful experience to see the Gaither Vocal Band live in concert. I listen to them every day and get inspired by your music. The venue was excellent and the sound was great. I would encourage anyone who has never attended a concert with them to go as it was a memorable moment. I enjoyed the songs, sing-a-longs and the humor from them all. Have a great tour and come back to Illinois again real soon.

This was a tremendous concert and a great affordable venue. Our only complaint is that some of the music was way too loud - even the vocals, which made it hard to understand the words. Most concerts are way too loud, so we don't attend many,

I highly recommend seeing the Gaither Vocal Band and do it before Bill calls it quits. The night was fuel to the soul because Jesus was worshipped.

Having attended a Gaither Vocal Band concert at Mayo Civic center a couple of years ago, we were really looking forward to this one. Our first disappointment was the venue setup. We had front row seats at the last concert and they were wonderful! Sound and sight could not be better. This time....the front row had been moved to within about six feet of the stage!! There were four of us and just in our little part of the row, we looked straight into two big monitor speakers, a big revolving spotlight and sat right under the big hanging speaker. We could only see the singers when they moved to the front to sing. We could not see anyone else on stage - not even the piano player when he did his great solo bits. Needless to say, the sound was deafening! As to the concert itself - it just wasn't up to the level of excellence that I've always expected...and prior to this - have never been disappointed. I may blame part on the horrible sound, but even the numbers that were not so terribly loud seemed a bit off. During the second half, which is usually unscripted, it seemed that there was confusion as to who was doing what and when and it basically fell flat. For the last many years, I have never missed a Gaither concert that was within a day's drive of Minneapolis, and, a couple of years ago I was able to attend the Gaitherfest in Myrtle Beach and it was well worth every penny of the travel and tickets, but I think this was my last one. It makes me sad.

Not only were the singing guys great, but they looked great, and I can verify that as I was sitting in the front row 2 FEET AWAY FROM THEM in the seats that they hooked us up with. If you want to actually see the concert, don't get the seats to the extreme left or right in the front row since I could hear people whining that they had a great view of the wall in front of them. Also, don't take a video by accident unless you want the tough security guard to put you on his watch list for the remaining 3 hours of the concert. AKA--WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR AND GET TO SEEING THESE VISITING ANGELS FROM ABOVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This was the the 3rd Gaither concert I had been to and I was very disappointed. The group just didn t have the harmonies of past groups and Bill talked too much!! I kept thinking, why aren t they singing?

This concert was simply spectacular. The Gaither Vocal Band has changed members over the years, and this latest group is fantastic. Bill Gaither is still going strong and his latest ensemble is full of the spirit and life. If you get a chance, try and see a concert. It is the best 3 hours of southern godpel music at its best.

I was disappointed that the group did not sing any of the old time gospel songs - they sang only songs which had been written by one or more members of the group.

As expected, the Gaither Vocal band had everyone on their feet with several of their classic songs as well as titles off their new CD. In my opinion, you have not lived until you experience a Gaither event in person. Great performance by all artists!

My husband and I have been fans of The Gaither Vocal Band for many years. We are never disappointed by the quality and the variety of the band members at different times. It is an upbeat and faith based evening like no other.

Fabulous concert. The talent level of the Gaithers is outstanding and the inspiration and humor and selections made it an evening of more than entertainment. It is an evening I will never forget. Still rings in my heart.

Attended the concert in Des Moines...what a wonderful way to spend a Friday night! 3 hours of worship and the Gaither Vocal Band never disappoints! This is my 2nd time seeing them and I definitely will recommend and go again if I get the opportunity.

Right from the start this was a great show, Kevin Williams got up and played some hymns on his guitar. This was a great way to get you prepared for the show to come. Charlotte Richie did a great job.(I would have liked to have heard her sing at least once more) The Vocal Band was great. Adam Crab does a great job, but I do miss Guy Penrod.

If ever in doubt about a Gaither event, don't be! The music is fantastic and hits home in a very real way. The evening flew by and my husband and I talked about how much we enjoyed the concert all the way home (over an hour). Keep up the great work, Boys!

As always, the Gaither Vocal Band performed in top class fashion. Great songs and great harmonies. There were also times of laughter caused by Kevin Williams picking on Bill Gaither and Bill picking on others.

In my humble opinion, this is the Greatest group of vocalist in Gospel music today, or probably any other day...

My husband and I both enjoyed this uplifting, completely apolitical show with virtuoso vocal performances.
