The concert and venue were great. I love smaller venue cause then everyone gets a great view. It was a awesome show.

Sammy was awesome! I have loved him my whole life and this is the 2nd time I have seen him and he did not disappoint. Would never know he is 70. He does not look it and does not sound it. Wonderful show and Mystic Lake's showroom is the best place I've ever seen a concert. I have been to over 100 shows to that says a lot.

July back in Dayton, OH. November at Harrah's Cherokee Casino in NC. I consider myself lucky!!!

The venue is one of my fav. You are right on top of the artist. The sound was great and Sammy and the band were NOT mailing in this show. They were much better than I thought they would be.

Sammy came out to play but looked like he should have been at home watching golf. The stage could have used a little help as well visually. I know he's getting up there in age but he still sounds good and the band was excellent. He could have played a few more songs, 15 seemed light for a vet with his catalogue.

Sammy, Michael, Jason & Vic were very entertaining! Interacting with the audience, pouring shots of rum & mezquila in the cups of fans in the front row. They played some Montrose, Led Zeppelin, Van Halen & of course Sammy's solo works.

It was my first time at The Rocksino for a show and I loved it!! The sound was great and it was good to be at a good old Rock Concert!! The band and Sammy sounded amazing, and they moved around on stage so everyone could interact with the band. The Rocksino staff was helpful and the facility was well maintained. I look forward to other shows in the future.

Sammy and the band were in top form. Set list was as expected, covering Montrose, Van Halen, solo Sammy and Zeppelin. While I do appreciate some of Sammy's slower stuff, there was NONE of that here. The band tore through 23 songs, added two encores, and had the raucous crowd wanting more. Highly recommend seeing this tour. You will not be disappointed !!

Great show, Sammy is such a great performer and the entire band is made up of veterans of rock & roll so it is a great, fun party of a show. The setlist is fantastic with Hagar era Van Halen, solo Sammy, Montrose and Led Zeppelin to boot. Highly recommended!!!

This was my 1st time seeing Sammy! He put on an awesome show as did the band! The venue was really nice, beautiful weather and a remarkable performance.

We have seen Sammy a number of times and this wasn't one of his best sets. He did a few Led Zepplin songs and I'm not a Zeppelin fan. I feel like if I pay to see Sammy Hagar I want to hear Sammy Hagar songs not another band's songs I normally wouldn't pay to see. Also, most of the fan base at this show seemed more interested in treating the concert like it was just a bar to hang out at instead of a concert where you pay attention to the band. Lots of people just casually hanging around, having conversations, playing on their phones. I don't think I've ever seen that at any other venue. Also, we bought seats in row B of the section we were in assuming this meant our view would not be blocked by more than just the few people in Row A ahead of us. Wrong! With all the people moving about and gathering together in groups to talk the walkway in front of our section were filled with people so now our view was terrible. Unlike other venues, the security here don't worry about keeping the aisles clear. I would definitely go to see Sammy again but not at Northerly Island.

I've seen Sammy over 30 times and am always amazed at his energy and his interaction with the crowd. Show was heavy Van Halen, but hit all decades of Sammy's music. Could have easily gone another hour or two and still not cover all his hits. Only disappointment is that there was no encore.

Terrible folding chair venue. Sammy good as usual, but late. Same opening film entro. Waaay tooo long. Radio sponsored people really stupid and way too much. One too many Led Zeppelin songs. No encore. Band really good. Concert rating FAIR

Another great show. I'm not a huge fan of the venue but what can you do ? Jim Pieterik was a nice change of pace as the opener. The only downside of the evening was the ever annoying mancow and crew. They couldn't have been more lame or annoying.

A great place to see a concert siting along the lake. Easy in and out. Excellent sound. Sammy Hagar is still and will always be a great concert to attend..

Sammy, Michael & Jason were excellent together! They put on a great concert and looked like they were having fun! Sammy even signed some items for people while singing!

The energy from the band, especially Sammy and Michael Anthony was electric. The sound was phenomenal! Jason Bonham on drums was absolutely amazing! I've seen Sammy many times over the years beginning in 1978, and this was one of the best!!

Sammy's vocals were spot on. They all seem to be having a genuinely good time entertaining us. The sound was great. Moving from Montrose to Van Halen, to Led Zep, to Sammy's tunes, it was awesome. The venue itself needs to add more restrooms. It holds over 5,000 people and in the mens room there was only one urinal and one stall.

Sammy put on a great show, he was better than I expected. I purchased tickets on a whim, as I saw a single ticket available in row 3. He played his classics, which was what I wanted to hear, being more of a VanHagar fan than just a Sammy fan - I got to hear the best of both. He went up and down the front of the stage and signed memorabilia, had I known that, I would have brought a CD or Vinyl to sign, but he did sign the front of my ticket stub, which is pretty awesome!

A ton of great songs from his entire catalog as well as a couple of Zepplin. Sammy's voice is still going strong and sounded very good. He had a great re pore with the audience as he has every time I've seen him.

Sammy Hagar and the Circle were great. All hits from his entire career. The band was solid, sound was great, loud but not ear splitting. The Venue was good. Comfortable seats, wide rows, bar was never too busy. Great all around.

Sammy was in fine form - this was the 6th time I had seen him. This was the most engaging I have ever seen him. Shaking hands, high 5'ing, fist pumping members of the crowd constantly. He was actually posing for pictures and signing autographs during the show and songs. Amazing. Constantly smiling you could tell Sammy was enjoying himself immensely. The sound was perfect - I think the setlist was identical to the one I heard last summer at Tahoe. A good mix of old and new. Downside -show was short- super short actually. Started at 8:15 and was over by 9:49. Not quite 2 hours.

Show was awsome, especially covers of zeppelin with Jason Bonham in the house it was an added bonus for me. Felt like the show was a little short. ar least two more songs would have done it.

Sammy and band was in great form. Playing 4 decades worth of music and bouncing around the stage like a 20 year old. The show was a blast. Go seem the Circle while you have the chance!

Sammy is like fine wine! He keeps getting better as he ages! You can't tell he is 70 now! The whole band played very well and it looked like they were having a blast.

This was the first time seeing Sammy live and I was not disappointed. What a fantastic show. The band was incredible, but how could it not be with Jason Bonham, Vic Johnson, Michael Anthony and of course Sammy. Got to see basically several bands, with music of Led Zeppelin, Van Halen, Montrose, etc.) Very energetic and you could really tell these 4 musicians enjoyed playing together. Michael Anthony with Sammy looks happier than he ever did with Van Halen. Sammy is great at interacting with the audience, and was always signing something for the fans. Loved Harrah's. It was better than I anticipated, definitely a lot bigger than expected. And liked the fact you could purchase alcohol everywhere, they even have someone to help carry it ! Would love to see Sammy & the Circle again, and would love seeing them at Harrah's Cherokee!

Sammy is amazing. Can't believe he's 70. The band is great. Love all the Van Halen and Led Zeppelin they did. Glad we brought ponchos. This is a great venue. Aisles are wide enough that you don't have to stand up to let someone pass by.

Sammy Hagar was on my to do list of musicians I had never seen but wanted to. I have been a fan since the late 70s from Montrose, through is solo work, Van Hagar, Chickenfoot and the Circle. All great music and they did music from all. The show was delayed by Hurricane Irma, but was worth the wait. the rain didn't matter Sunday night either. All the guys in the band are great musicians. They said they were buddies and it looked like it. They had fun and so did we. Non-stop hits over 45 years. And Sammy still sounds good at 70! If they come back I will see them again! One of the best shows I have seen in my years of concerts!

I had never been to this venue and I will look for shows there in the future. I have seen the Circle previously and they didn t disappoint - great set list, great show!

Sammy Hagar & The Circle performed four decades of hits spanning Sammy s solo work, Montrose, Chickenfoot, Van Halen and a few Led Zeppelin covers. Sammy s voice was on point. He never missed a verse or lyric. His bandmates played perfectly. Almost like listening to the CD. Hagar chatted with the crowd and you can see he and the band had so much fun performing together. Their good vibes carried over into the audience and created a real feel good feeling throughout the amphitheatre. Hagar just turned 70 but looks and performs like someone much younger. The show lasted 90 minutes with all hits and no filler. I highly recommend anyone go see this show. You wont be disappointed. My review of the venue is a mixed bag of good and bad. THE GOOD: plenty of parking, proficient and professional security and it was quick and painless to enter the venue. THE BAD: they need way more bathrooms. The wait lines to enter was outrageous. The venue also needs a roof or at least a tent cover. Thankfully, it only rained a little. But there is no need for the audience to get soaked if one day it pours during a concert. The food trucks were a nightmare. I ordered a cheeseburger combo 10-15 before the concert and I didn t receive it until the 4th song of the show. This is totally unacceptable. I was so pissed because I payed top dollar for floor seats and ended up missing the performance of almost four songs. I don t want to sound like I m bashing. I m just trying to give constructive criticism. I hope this helps.

Collective Soul set the pace and Sammy, Michael, Vic and Jason did the rest! High energy, classic Sammy.

Sammy just brings top notch rock n roll fun every show. I highly recommend him, plus his band The Circle is killer. They played a solid two hours, rocking all sammys and van halen hits. Def Go see him!

A long weekend was coming to an end. After seeing a concert 3 nights prior and Jethro Tull two nights prior, I thought I would be gassed seeing Sammy SUN night - I was wrong. Sammy Hagar and the Circle was energizing. Listening to the songs not only took me back but Sammy Hagar's showmanship kept everybody standing throughout the night. I would see them again if they came back around.

This was one of the best shows I ve seen at this venue!

Sammy and the boys were Fantastic! Old school Sammy,5150 Van Halen and Led Zep.... and to top it off Collective Soul opened and sounded great. Poring rain and singing "When the Levee Breaks"....great show.

Collective Soul came out after a single singer/guitar player who's name I didn't catch. They were high energy, great sound, and the crowd seemed to sing along with every word. Fantastic. All was going great until Sammy Hagar came out and the monsoon started.. Sammy was great as usual and played all his hits from montrose through to the present. They played a selection of Led Zep songs as tribute to Drummer extraordinaire Jason Bonhams' father the legendary late John Bonham. But the rain fell harder and harder with only brief breaks. So as I sat huddled, soaking wet listening to Sammy, I just wanted to go home :/ oh well. Better luck next time I hope.

Sammy Hagar never disappoints. Even in the rain he puts on a great show. All songs you know by heart and can sing along to. The circle is a fantastic band too, Vic can shred with the best on guitar, Bonham on drums playing Zepplin songs and Michael Anthony rocking the bass and vocals. It was another great show. Highlight of the show for me... Bonham starts that distinctive drum intro to When the Levee Breaks and it started pouring. Sammy comes out with his classic red Gibson Destroyer on leans into the mike "If it keeps on raining the levee's gonna break". a great moment.

I was curious to see how the band would sound playing VH and LZ tunes. Simply put, the concert was amazing! Good setlist, a good mix of tunes throughout Hagar s career, entertaining, you couldn t ask for much more. I d pay to see that show againin a heartbeat

The show was amazing! I didn't expect anything less from Sammy Hagar. I've seen him a few times with Van Halen and another time solo. I'm a huge Van Halen fan so the fact that Michael is still with Sammy is an added bonus. I didn't expect anything less than perfect from him either, and that's what I got. Vic Johnson and Jason Bonham deserve much credit as well. Sammy still has a high energy show and rocks out quite well despite just turning 70. This venue is always great also! They do several Van Halen songs from Sammy's era and of course a bunch of Sammy's stuff. They included some Led Zeppelin, which is cool since Jason Bonham is on drums. I gotta tell ya, a million stars had to line up in my favor that night for what happened first. After checking in we went straight to the elevator and I hit the button. The second I did, the other elevator door opened and Sammy Hagar stepped off walking right in front of me! I'm not exaggerating when I tell you I was in such disbelief that this was happening to me, that I threw my purse and bags into the floor and was like "No!", like literally, just no lol. I teared up some as he laughed immediately while I fumbled for my phone. It was like I thought he was gonna run away fast or something. I couldn't have been more wrong. He reached out to me laughing and said, "come here, you deserve a hug." My mother and husband were laughing and getting photos as well. Quick small talk was made and we let him go. I asked if he'd be signing from the stage, which I think is really typical for him, and he did. I was able to walk up front with my photos of him and Michael and get them both signed. It looked like they signed everything they possibly could, and seemed more than happy to do so. You can't get that from a lot of bigger entertainers and to someone like me with such an enormous passion for all things VH, it was truly a huge deal and an absolute dream come true! My mom and husband remarked several times that they couldn't believe how nice Sammy was and so down to Earth. He was exactly the way I always imagined he would be. Very kind! See the show, and hopefully you'll bump into him at an elevator, too!

An elite performance by these musicians. Great Van Halen staples from the Sammy era as well as solo Sammy and Montrose. Would see again

Always wanted to see Sammy Hagar live and it was one of the best shows I ve ever seen! And it was icing on the cake to see Michael Anthony, Vic Johnson, and the talented Jason Bonham (rock and roll royalty). Sammy just turned 70 this year but was all over the stage like a madman and totally entertained and energized the crowd! I give them 5 stars on the show but I give the actual venue (Harrah s Cherokee Casino) only 2 stars because they give all their good seats to their regular high roller casino clientele. General public who live far off have to settle for lower level and nosebleeds and have no chance whatsoever of getting floor seats, we were lucky to get in the lower level. Plus a female staff member who I wished I had gotten the name off was very rude to us on the outside. All that aside, the show itself was top notch and I d recommend anyone to go see them. Sammy Hagar & The Circle Rocks!

I saw Sammy in 1984... He smoked it then and he did it again Thursday night. The band he has is great and the show was lots of fun. He plays all the tunes but what I loved was he genuinely looked like he was having a blast... If you get a chance I would go see Sammy !!

$80 for Hagar and Collective Soul was a value I thought. $7 160z beers at the Toledo Zoo Amphitheater was fair. I like this venue. The seats are hard but the sound is incredible. But, the best surprise was seeing Michael Anthony on bass and Jason Bonham on drums. Just a great sound. Sammy could've played a whole different show with 16 different songs. I forgot how big his body of work is.

From the start of the show all the way to the last song, everyone was standing the whole time. Sammy's voice still strong as ever, Vic Johnson is one of the most underrated guitarists his playing was awesome. Michael Anthony's bass playing and singing were great and Jason Bonham made you feel like you were listening to Zepp when he kicked into those songs. Will definitely go see them again!

It's been 4 days and I still can't get When the Levee Breaks out of my mind. Awesome job guys.Sammy, Mike, Vic, and Jason were ment to be together. I WAS BLOWN AWAY when Gary Pihl came on stage to play Heavy Metal and nailed the solo like it was his own. Hope they come to the area again!

Loved the bands but thought it was horrible place to seat! Right next to speakers and couldn't see all of stage. Not what I expected doe row two and the money I paid! Been to a lot of great concert venues but Irving ranked last!

The Contagious opened up for Sammy Hagar and The Circle. These young kids were phenomenal and slayed on stage. They had a great stage presence. Sammy Hagar was very humbling speaking to the audience regarding Hurricane Harvey and praising the Smart Financial Center venue. Great show with lots of old songs!

The music was great, nice new building. Why the loooong lines for mens room? I am not happy to have paid nearly $300 for two tickets (Sec 100 Row L Seats 1-2) and have an obstructed view. I have emailed the building but so far no reply from management. Building manager should never have allowed bands to position sidefills that block premium seats. Our view was quite different from the rendering on the Toyota Music Factory website. See attached. I would like to hear from someone at Live Nation who can make an adjustment to the price I paid. Thanks.

Sammy was so much better than I expected. My wife and I have been seeing all the old 80's bands we grew up with, and I have to say, we both put this concert as one of the best concerts either one of us has ever seen. Reasons: first, he has some of the best musicians playing with him (Micheal Anthony, Vic Johnson, and Jason Bonham). Next, you can tell he is a genuine guy. He was so personable with the crowd. He signed everything. I didn't see him turn anyone down for an autograph. He did this throughout the entire concert. And finally, at almost 70 years old, he has still got the voice. If you closed your eyes, you couldn't tell if it was 1982 or 2017. A lot of the other lead singer from the 80's can't hit the notes like they use to, but Sammy still can. If you get the chance, definitely go, you'll be so happy you did.

Great concert . Local dude, Jim Perterik writer & singer of Survivor, Ides Of March, and others opened for Sammy. Sammy Hagar came out with Vic Johnson, Michael Anthony, and Jason Bonham. Together Sammy & the Circle rocked the place all night long.

The concert was a lot of fun. Great seats and atmosphere. Sammy, Alex, Jason and Vick put on an awesome performance. I had always wanted to see Van Halen (with Sammy). He is a performer and has a great time. He got the crowd into the show from the first to the last song. Loved "Dreams" as they just sat around and Sammy sang. Better show than expected. I would go see them anytime.

Sammy is ageless................70 plus years old, still rockin after 40 years and was a blast to see live for the first time. Been a fan my entire life and am thankful I got to finally see him live! He put on an awsome show that I would recommend anybody to go see! I hope,.... I hope,..... I hope.... that he comes back soon.

I have seen Sammy several times over the years both before and after Van Halen. I never saw him with VH. He puts on an awesome show covering songs from his entire career. He interacts with the crowd in a manner that is not seen very often today by signing autographs while on stage etc. I try to see him whenever he comes through town. He never disappoints.

I've been a Sammy Hagar fan my entire life. Was a little disappointed in the concert he put on at Mystic Lake. Was very short and he played more Led Zeppelin than he did his own music-and I'm NOT a Led Zeppelin fan. I understand the reasoning, but I just wish I would have heard more of Sammy's music. My parents and brother felt the same way, as did a lot of other people we talked to. We saw Sammy 5 years ago at the state fair and he played EVERY song you could ever want to hear and this time I have to say was disappointing. Don't get me wrong, the man can still SING AT 70 YEARS OLD! But I wish I would have heard some more of HIS music. Still a fan though!

loved both the backup band Collective Soul and especially Sammy and the Circle. Every song he played was great and the venue was nice ezcept for the rain and. ot allowinf umbrellas.

Opening guitarist (didn't catch his name) was pretty good... felt badly for him having to perform while people were still entering the venue. Collective Soul is one of my FAVES and they didn't disappoint, as always. I am now a big fan of The Circle!! All the musicians were fabulous but Vic Johnson stole the show in my opinion!! Great time! Pompano Beach Amphitheater is an amazing place to see any show!!

Great venue, first time to Pompano Amphitheatre, would defiantly see a concert in that venue. Sammy was energetic and on top, you rocked it Sammy. Collective Soul my all time favorite band to follow, wish they played longer. They rocked it, the rain didn't even matter.

Thought to myself when I saw the Red Rocker playing a smaller venue, what's up with this? Don't be fooled, a night of hard, loud, clean, pure, did I say LOUD rock & roll!! The band was tight and the concert was amazing! Sammy, Michael, Vic and Jason were on point and played a full set of all the favorites!

Great show. Sammy can still belt it out, has tons of energy, played to the crowd, and put on an excellent show. The sound was incredible. Vic rocked on the guitar, while Michael was his usual strong self at bass and backgrounds. First time seeing Jason and he was excellent. I could feel the drumbeat vibrating against my skin. I've been waiting for Sammy to head toward the Atlanta area for years, but Cherokee, NC was just a 3 hour drive and worth the trip. Loved it!!!
