Curious George Live was an excellent show! It was so much fun seeing my children's faces LIGHT up when Curious George came on the stage! We had excellent seats,on the floor, right up front, left of the stage! It was such fun (even for Mom) to see Curious George, with the Man in the Yelllow Hat, Huntly, & The Doorman, all as real live characters! It was like they stepped right out of my children's books or one of the many Curious George movies we have! The story was precious with the Golden Meatball Contest! What made that even more memorable was that we enjoyed dinner at a local spaghetti restaurant just before the show!

We took my 7 year old, 6 year old and 2 year old and they all LOVED it! The songs were great, the colors were so brought and vivid and it stuck with the format of the TV show! My daughter (the 2 year old) was dancing along with some of the songs and just loved watching George run around the stage. She was clapping every time George did something funny. After my 2 boys (7 and 6) told me they really enjoyed it and talked about it rest of the day. I would highly recommend going, all the characters you know and love from the show are in it!

Overall, the show was really well-done -- it ran smoothly, was completely awe-inspiring for my four-year-old, and followed a simple story line. Aesthetically, it was wonderful: true to the bold lines and bright colors of Curious George cartoons/books. However, there were a couple of draw-backs. I don't understand why this would last an hour and a half, including a 15 minute set break. The majority of the children attending were aged 5 and under. The attention span of kids at this age is NOT 90 minutes. By the end of the show, there were kids sleeping, fussing, breaking down, etc. An hour should suffice - there were some slow parts of the show, which never bodes well for young kids, and which could be taken out entirely.

Performers were excellent and the show had lots of excitement for the children. Only complaint was the sound system. It was so loud, it made it hard to understand the lyrics.

Reviewed as 2 adults with handicapped 9 yr old. Enjoyable/laughable - some difficulties with mics on the appropriate person. It got a little dull before the intermission not only for us but for all the kiddos in the rest of the audience. I enjoyed the 'tricks' performed by the cast and the bit of crowd involvement as the exited the stage during the acts. Very colorful and lighting was well done.

Loved the show of what we could see of it. I took my Grandson 3yrs old bought Monkey seats had 1st row & there was a speaker on stage right in front of our seats I paid $231.40 for these tickets and couldn't watch the show do to the speaker being like a billboard in our view. I did put him on my lap but we still couldn't see the stage for this speaker. It was very uncomfortable to have him on my lap trying to see over this so I couldn't concentrate on the show. This was so disappointing. I was so excited about taking him to this show because he Loves "Curious Gorge" That's what he calls him. I wish I had the money to take him back to see it over and get our seats in the first row on the top.

The Show was great! All the characters looked very similar to the cartoon/books. My lil' one LOVED IT! The only thing that was a little disappointing was that Curious George came off the stage in the front row and shook the hands of approximately 3 children leaving the other 100 disappointed. For the price we paid for the tickets along with all the extra fees we should be able to have George and the crew come out to take pics with the kids for awhile after the show.

The show was great. I think there should have been more interaction with the kids/audience. The performers were great, especially Curious George! Parking cost was decent ($5), but everything else was very pricey!! During intermission, mylar balloons are sold (& every kid wanted one)! They were $5! Bottom line, my 2 1/2 year old managed to watch the entire show, breaking down only during intermission. So, at least it kept him entertained. The ticket prices were too high for the quality of performance, in my opinion.

I highly reccomend this event. I have two boys ages 5 and 4. When they watch the cartoon on TV they are quiet and focused on the TV. They were the same way at the show. I took my 3 year old to this event. FIrst we got to meet George which was so much fun. The event itself was great. We had seats right by the stage so when the show performed some of the acts where actually on the floor vs. the stage so we got to dance with George. Unfortunately almost half way threw the show the whole city of Greenville, SC lost power so we got to get up and walk around, eat, but we still had fun together. George even came out a couple of times ti entertain the crowds. Once back up and running we continued to enjoy everything about the night. We bought lots of memorable stuff that was reasonably priced. And we went home with a huge smile :)

Can you say BORING? The title should have been called Chef Pisghetti. Curious George was more of a supporting actor in his own show. The music was not geared for small children. It was boring, the music not catchy and a stupid plot. All of the adults in our section would turn to each other and laugh. Laugh that we paid $140 for a ridiculous show. I will say that the actors were on target with their roles. The Man with the yellow hat was just like the one on the show and so were all the main charachters. That did impress me but the music and story were so miserably boring that we bribed the kids to stay until the end. They kept waiting for something funny to happen like in the tv show. This was a let down.

The Curious George Live show was fantastic, even sitting at the mid-level priced seats. The story line was easy to follow (even for a 5 year old). The back drops/costumes were amazing. The actors that were casted to play each of the characters really shared similar physical traits, that was amazing to see! Chef Pisghetti really looked like the cartoon character and the Doorman sounded just like him in the cartoons. I wished there were more affordable souvenirs for purchase, like a book of stickers, or tattoos. The yellow Curious George Live show t-shirt was priced at $18, that's a lot!

My five year old son (will be six next month) loved this show! We saw Diego Live two years ago & he didn't like it at all...said, "Diego is fake, Mommy!" But Curious George Live was a wonderful experience. The show was exciting, kept the kids attention, involved all the familiar characters from the show...and elicited "ooohs" and "aaahhhhs" from the littlest kids all the way up to the Moms & Dads. I hope they will bring it back again, soon. We had to leave at intermission (due to travel for the holiday weekend), therefore we missed the last acts. My only suggestion would be to potentially start the show at 6pm, instead of 7pm, since these shows appeal to younger children. Wrapping up the show at 8:30 or so is too late for many of them. But either way, we'd still go again! Fantastic! Oh - and milk as an option at the concession stands would be nice, too, for kids who don't like sodas/juice. Bottled water was sufficient, but milk would be a nice add on.

The Curious George Live show was an experience for my 3 1/2 year old daughter. She knows A LOT about 'George' and was excited about the show. The recorded speaking voice(s) (such as Rino Romano, the narrator?) were clear-as-day. However, the singing, which was most of the show, was very difficult to understand even for adults--my wife and I both had problems discerning what was being sung. As a consequence, my daughter was continuously asking 'why' this happened or 'why' that happened. Normally, she understands everything on the PBS program, but the bad acoustics in the Stabler Arena ruined what-could-have-been a great experience. Because we saw the last show over a 3-day weekend, I have to conclude that this is the best a person can expect from a show (in terms of acoustics). If the acoustics could have been better, one would have to assume the sound engineers would have fixed those problems on Friday night or Saturday.

This show was great!! Took my grandkids and they had a blast. They were yelling and dancing to the music. They kept waving to George and the others. The items for sale were a little pricy - but aren't they always? I also thought George could have come out to greet the kids after the show. There weren't may people there - so it would not have taken to long.

The show was entertaining, though it seemed to loose the interest of many children. The sound level seemed too high and at times when large numbers of cast members sang, it was a bit distorted and difficult to understand. George was enjoyable to watch. The actors who played George were very acrobatic. Very colorful scenery. The actors were entertaining. I feel that the show could have used a bit less singing. All in all, the show was good.

This was by far THE best "kids show" we have seen yet! The storyline was cute and kept the kids interested, not overly complicated. Lots of action, the characters were very talented, the sets and costumes were so colorful and imaginative. The one complaint--we had second row seats and our 4 year old (along with other kids around us in the first few rows) had a lot of difficulty seeing the stage at first. We eventually propped him up on a mountain of winter jackets on my husband's lap, which helped quite a bit. Maybe the theater should provide some kind of booster seats for little ones sitting so close? Anyways, we would definitely recommend this show!

I took my 2 1/2 year old daughter to the show and she loved it. She's a huge fan of Curious George books and the t.v. and was on the edge of her seat, waving and asking to play with George. I'm not sure who had more fun - her or me watching her wide-eyed amazement. All the characters were true to form and the musical numbers were great. It's a bit late in the evening and she was definitely ready for bed when we left but for a special occassion well worth the stretch in her night-time routine.

The show itself was wonderful! We couldn't stop watching all the kids (our own as well as everyone else's). Their faces said it all! It was a fun, high energy, well done production. The one and only downside was the cost of concessions, souvenirs and parking. I know I should've expected it, but $12 to park and $5 for a helium balloon? Come on, that's ridiculous. I bought these tickets for my 2 yr old grandson...I wasn't quite sure that he would sit still through the entire show but he was mesmurized! It was so colorful and the characters were adorable. I would definitely recommend it ... even the littlest children had a great time. Toward the end, most of the children were dancing and singing in the aisle. It would precious, and money well spent!

My husband and I took our almost 5 yr old son and we had a wonderful time. You could tell the staff of the Fox Theatre was very excited about having a kids show, and the cast gave an outstanding performance. The person in the monkey costume was unbelievable with his/her stunts!! Walking on a ball, and in that costume?!?!?! WOW! Very impressed and very entertaining. Staff and cast gave an opening night performance. Thanks for a fun evening!

This show was very enjoyable. It gave me great pleasure to watch the expression on my grandkids faces!! They were so attentive. They loved it! I do reccomend this show to anyone who would be thinking of going. The seats we had were awsome as well! Of course we came home with t-shirts and souvenirs as well.

The preschool and kindergarten set will be enthralled by the music, the action, the colors, the activity! Curious George, as usual, gets himself into mischief on an international scale. To the rescue comes The Man in the Yellow Hat! George and his friends are lovable as they figure out how to be the best friends they can be to each other!

I thought this show was very well done. I had no idea what to expect, but the kids loved it, and I enjoyed it too.

I was somewhat concerned that the show would keep my three year old grandson's attention. Was I surprised...the colorful costumes, great set design, upbeat singing, and even an enjoyable plot that involved "CG" on stage most of the time, kept Justin, his Mom and his Granny intrigued. AND judging from the many youngsters around us...they were as excited as we were. Thanks for a great show!!! Oh and thanks for keeping the cost affordable...we saw any number of families and students who were able to attend. Keep up the good work!!!

Took our 7 and 3 (almost 4) yr. old boys. Both very excited when it started but both got a little bored (especially 7 yr. old) by the time the 15 min. intermission came. I noticed a number of lot of kids were getting bored/antsy about halfway through the show, but many were still having a great time. My husband and I thought it was fun and overall we had a good time.

My son is only 3 but we took him since he loves George. The show itself was great. A little long for a 3 yr old. My complaint is about the venue-Target Center They sell mylar balloons at intermission..beware..they make you shove it under your seat for the 2nd half of the show...my 3 yr old was not happy about that. The popcorn was the saltiest -greasiest I have ever had...obvisiously they are trying to sell drinks too. The $8 lemonade was basically WATER with a lemon floating inside. Do not buy these items!!!

Had a very nice time at the Curious George event with my daughter and grandson, it was his first concert/play and he seemed to enjoy it a lot.

Kids had a great time (2 & 5 yr olds) - they loved the music - and stood by there seats dancing through the entire show. It was a little more low-key than the disney events that we've been to, and the prices on the t-shirts, balloons, etc were more reasonable.

The show was ok, lots of singing and dancing, but I expected more engagement of the audience. We took my 4 year old niece and her 2 year old cousin. They seemed bored after the first 1/2 hour. The characters came down off stage but didn't go past the front row. They could've done more with the characters moving through the crowd. Also, I would've liked to see them involve the audience in the show more - could've worked in audience participation when dancing, counting, cheering, etc to keep kids engaged.

This show was great, I was so amazed at how much the voices of the characters sounded like the actual show. I little too much singing for my son, but over all a great experience.

The reason I said I would not recommend the event is that it was too loud. This is an event for kids, turn down the volume. We were sitting in the third row on the main floor and every child in front of us and as far back as we could see were covering their ears because it was too loud. This isn't a rock concert. TURN DOWN THE VOLUME!!!

We loved the play. All four of the kids with us loved it. They actually sat still thru the whole thing, usually at least once they want to get up and go somewhere. It was so enjoyable that it went by so fast, before we knew it it was over. Loved it.

We took our 4 1/2 year old & 2 year old to see the show. It had lots of dancing and singing which the kids enjoyed, but they got a little antsy toward the end of the show. Overall it was a good show and everyone enjoyed it.

My three year old granddaughter loved most of it, but there were certainly times that she was ready to "go home". Music was great...singers were great, but the story line was hard for little ones to follow. Would recommend this for 5 year olds...but it is 3 year olds who love George.

Overall I'd say this show was pretty good. My almost three year old enjoyed the show for the most part. The plot was a little hard for her to understand but there was enough of items to still hold her attention. I was happy there was a plot to the show though. I recently went to a Mickey Mouse Clubhouse show and this was way better than that. However, it still did not measure up to Elmo shows for the younger ones. The plot maybe was for a little older child but I'd still recommend the show for those around age 3 as there was still plenty happening on the stage. I do think there needed to be more sales people though as during intermission trying to buy items the lines were way too long and you'd have to wait in line and the show started by then and was partly missed by me trying to get a souvenir. However, the souvenir prices weren't bad...$10-$15 for a t-shirt and $5 for a lite up Curious George star.

Everyone in the family, from ages 3 - 40, really enjoyed the show. Great singing, an actual plot you could follow, a bit of humor, and of course George made this a great experience for the whole family!

This is more like a musical and less like the kind of kids show that gets kids up in the aisles dancing. With only one animal character surrounded by several humans, I think it appeals to slightly older kids. It was tough to hold the attention of my three year-old. It could be improved with more interaction with the kids and more animal characters.

It was so much fun! My 2 year old daughter had a blast..It was a little more musical that I expected but it was good. They didn't have a whole lot of Curious George stuff to buy which was kind of disappointing but overall it was a great experience.

I brought my 3 year old to Curious George Live this past weekend and we had a blast! She danced through the whole show! They gave out FREE chef's hats which the kids loved! She wants to wear the shirt we bought 24/7! Great show! Highly recommended! Only con was late people, the show should make those late people wait for intermission to find their seats, or find open seats in the back. Many people were complaining about the late people (obviously not the show's fault!) But they could have required them to wait so as not to disturb people who were actually on time...
