Man, this concert was great. It was strictly for the grown and sexy! Even though my poor knees were killing me the next day from non-stop dancing, I would do it all again!!!

Event started ridiculously LATE! 9:30 when it was supposed to start at 8pm. Luckily DJ Rob Smoothe kept the crowd entertained. DOUGIE FRESH/SLICK RICK, WHODINI, & BIG DADDY KANE SAVED THE DAY!! THEY WERE AWESOME. YO YO AND MANNY FRESH WERE POINTLESS AND A WASTE OF TIME. VERY DISAPPOINTED IN MC LYTE'S PERFORMANCE. SHE HAD THE CROWD YAWNING. SHOULD HAVE HAD SALT&PEPPER ON THE BILL. DOUGIE SHOULD HAVE BEEN ON LONGER, BUT HIS SHOW WAS RUSHED BECAUSE YOU ALL STARTED SO LATE!! I'M SO GLAD WHODINI REFUSED TO CUT THEIR SHOW AND KEPT GOING!

The performers were wonderful, although the organization of the concert was bad. The concert started and hour and a half late.

I enjoyed the Legends of Hip Hop concert and hope to see them again soon! Whodini was off the chain! Whodini and Big Daddy Kane danced! They weren't too thuggish or too cool to dance! Every artist that graced the stage made the ENTIRE audience feel like we were all good friends who go way back. I mean, it's like they all had a personal connection with the audience. All so humble, down-to-earth, appreciative, and definitley knows what it means to be a real artist with a true fan base. There was not one artist on that tour that I would leave out for the next time around, but if they could get Kool Moe Dee... Loved the show! Grown people having grown people fun. I enjoyed the audience just as much as I enjoyed the show. It was a beautiful time shared with and by all in attendence.

Concert started an hour and a half late. We had to listen to a DJ too long. Some of the legends were better than others. Yo yo and MC Lite should have done their own tour(boring). The entertainment (Uptown Angela from Q93) must have been drunk or on something. She kept repeating herself and the fowl language was out of order. Next time hire an MC for the evening or a comedian to fill empty space. All of the other acts were good. Duggie Fresh could have done the show alone. He was definitely the show stopper. The show ended too late. Next time include Salt & Pepper.

The Legends of Hip Hop Concert was great! My husband and I had a wonderful time! It was awesome to see some of the pioneers of the industry live! Going down memory lane with friends, the place was packed, everybody was rapping and dancing, it was alot of fun!! I haven't had fun like that in a long time!

I was a little disappointed that the event did not start on time. Also, I felt there was too much time between acts. However, I thought the artists all did a wonderful job and this concert brought back many great memories.

Real Hip Hop at its finest! Whodini, Big Daddy Kane, Dougie Fresh and Slick Rick turned that place out! I was hoarse from singing all those old school classics! Doug did his thing on that Beat box for over it seemed like 10 minutes without taking a breath!

The concert was amazing. Although it started and 1 1/2 late. DJ Smooth kept it pumping! He definitely made the late start worth the while.

Thoroughly enjoyed the evening. The atmosphere was amazing, reminded me of the good old days when we partied for fun!!! The arena was packed with people dressed in Addidas sweatsuits, kangol hats and rope chains. The DJ had the crowd hyped up even before the first act hit the stage. YoYo came out accompanied by Manny Fresh, her set was pretty decent. Whodini rocked the stage old skool style. MC Lyte showed off her lyrical skills. Big Daddy Kane (looking mighty fine, if I may add!) was hyped up. But the main event of the evening was Doug E Fresh and Slick Rick the Ruler. They showed us why they are called the world's best storyteller and human beatbox.

It wasn't worth the money. However, the only acts that I enjoyed were Whodini, Big Daddy Kane, Yo Yo, Doug E. Fresh and Slick Rick. The rest were so bland and some points were extremely vulgar (the DJ). Old school hip hop wasn't about vulgarities though they had some. Salt 'n Pepa would be a better replacement for MC Lyte (i don't know what she was doing or who she thought she was).
