Watching Don Rickles what back so many memories that will never be seen again. He is one of the last of a bygone era that unfortunately will not be seen again in this country. Today's entertainers do not have the charisma of the type that was around in the 60s . And enjoyed all the memories.

A great night! Mr. Rickles did us in. We're still laughing (we went three weeks ago). He warmed us up with footage from his legendary appearances, which could have made for a great night in itself. We're only sorry we weren't sitting in the first 5 rows that he preyed on. Classic Rickles. A class act. We feel privileged & want to see him again. An added benefit was meeting Bob Newhart who was in the audience. We thanked him for years of delight. Would have loved to have shaken Mr. Rickles' hand too!

The Don Rickles show was fantastic. I'm just glad I was not sitting in the front row. The front row crowd were his pawns. They had a good sense of humor and ran with the bait. Great fun!

The entire evening was one fantastic experience! We parked our car, walked in to the casino, followed all of the marked signs to the "Venue", and we had arrived. The show began on time and Mr. Rickles came out with his quick whit and one-liners, one right after the other! He told the audience he was 83 years old......no one could believe it, he was sharp as a tack, and then some! After a while of doing his schtick, he broke into song, who know he could sing???? I was pleasantly surprised by this, and the evening was truly entertaining! I ALWAYS wanted to see him live, and boy did I get my money's worth! Mr. Rickles is truly a treasure, hysterical, funny, witty and entertaining, please everyone out there, go and see his show, you will NOT be dissappointed!

The show didn't start on time...but other than that, there isn't one other negative thing I can say. The Venue is an outstanding facility!!! Don Rickles can still bring it!!! Laughed out loud from beginning to end. He sang, danced, told stories, and involved members of the audience. One of the most entertaining shows I ever attended.

From the time Don Rickles stepped out on the stage he was funny. I liked the way he told jokes to the way he would sing his songs. I took my mom to see him as a mothers day present and she definitely was not disappointed with her gift. I told my friends all about him and know they would like to go see him. Mr. Rickels maybe of the older generation but he definitely could make this 38 year old laugh.

I TOLD EVERONE THAT I SAW DON RICKLES AND I ENCOURAGED EVERONE TO GO TO THE SHOW IF THE NEVER WENT TO SEE HIM. MY THOUGHTS ARE THAT MR.RICKLES ,IS THE BEST COMEDIAN AND LAST OF A ERA OF THE RAT PACK CREW. I CAN T WAIT TO SEE HIM AGAIN WHEN HE COMES TO TOWN AGAIN ! THANKS FOR MAKING ME LAUGH DON!

This was my first time to see Mr. Rickles and I'm sorry I waited so long! I was kind of tentative about driving over 2 hours for a show but I thought what the heck. I was not disappointed! Within the first 2 minutes I had tears in my eyes - which for me is unusual! I'm not a big laugher but he was great! There was never a dull moment during the whole show which was close to 2 hours long if I remember correctly. He is still as quick witted as ever with fast comebacks and great singing voice!! I would most surely go again. This was the best show I've seen in many years!!!

Don Rickles is a nice man - with a wicked wit. His shows are ageless. He is as good today as he was in the Carson years. His performances are like a fine wine, they get better with time. If you like "old Vegas" you can't miss seeing Rickles.

Second time we've seen Don... He is not only the liveliest 83 year old I've ever seen but he gives his insult t brand of comedy a sense of history with his references to his mentore like Sinatra. A strong 5 stars but one warning--do not getr a seat in the first few rows unless you wish to become the target of the master.

Don still had a beautiful voice. So glad he's still making an effort, and pretty well at that! However, Don was only on stage for about 45 minutes. Wish the show would have been a bit longer- at least an hour would have been nice.

I'd wanted to see Don Rickles for years. The timing was finally right when he came to The Venue in Hammond -- but I was a bit concerned given that he's now 83! Forget age! Rickles put on a better show than performers a quarter or half his age! He sings, he dances and, of course, he insults ("he kids"). This is one performer who is not past his prime!

My husband and I went to see Rickles because he has been a huge fan of his and never had an opportunity to see him. I bought him the tickets for his birthday. He was so excited to see him. Needless to say, we were both disappointed. His performance only lasted about 40 minutes. A lot of money to spend for such a short performance. We still enjoy watching him when he makes TV appearances, especially on Letterman, but we will not spend the money to see him again in concert. We still love him though.

I only gave this show 2 stars instead of 1 because while I was very disappointed, it was still cool to see 2 legends and one of the best at what they do on the same stage. Despite their age, they both look great and are sharp and witty is ever. But other than that, it was an unnecessary waste of money and time. It was basically Regis interviewing Rickles and a look back at Rickles career. They spent half as much time showing old videos than actually doing comedy. I spent money to watch one of the best stand up comedians ever show his craft, not watch TV. The show. This show could've been a lot better.

While I admire Don for soldiering on with his performances, it was almost painful to watch. His age and health have taken a toll and he was difficult to understand and had to stay seated the entire time - almost mumbling at times. Aware of his difficulties in performing a large portion of the show (40%) was screen clips of Don in his prime. I believe it is time for Don to retire from these type of performances - He was very funny once -but not now. This was more of a tribute than a comedy show.

Was very disappointed in the performance. I love Don Rickles. The show started about 20 minutes late. Some of the show had excerpts of when preformed on TV. The audio and video did not match up. It was very annoying. There were times that Don mumbled and you couldn't understand him Over all performance was very disappointing. I wish I could of seen him in his younger days.

It was a nice surprise to discover that Don Rickles has retained his legendary status as a comedian of the century. His jibes and fun pokes were typical, and at the ripe age of 90, Don is proud that he gets "them on the nose". His orchestra was professional, and the shared videos of Frank Sinatra, his mother, and famous roasts that he has hosted were appreciated. Keep us laughing as long as you can, Don!

I have seen Don live over the years and always appreciated his humor. We sat in the elevated side seats and the sound at times was terrible; couldn't hear him especially when reading. His voice was soft and weak. Was at his best when engaging people from the audience. His memory is failing as one might expect at age 90 and that was minor. Video presentations meant something to us in our seventies but many in the audience I suspect had no idea who many of the performers were and couldn't care less. I think this is best described as a last tour event and for that I give him credit but it is time to retire from touring.

Don Rickles is one of the last remaining legends of an era that will never be duplicated. At 90 eyars young, he was hilarious. Quiok witted, never missed a step. The show consisted of video of his earlier career with a well-deserved nod to his mother and Frank Sinatra. Don also sang in between shooting barbs at the audience. if you get a chance to see Don, do so. You will not be dissappointed!

Mr. Rickles is a living legend. His passion for pleasing his audience is still so strong. I grew up watching Don on the Tonight Show and celebrity roasts, etc., and have always appreciated his ability to help us laugh at ourselves. It's so refreshing at a time of ultra-political correctness that Mr. Rickles can and did remind us that what we have in common is the gift of laughter. The clips he had of "the old days" combined with a great live orchestra and the man himself made for a perfect evening. The one comment I have is that the sound could have been better. There were times were Don was hard to hear.

First and foremost, Don Rickles is a legend, pure and simple. It was an absolute HONOR to see him live. After just recently (this past week) celebrating his 90th birthday, his mind still works faster than a mad scientist. Actually, he is a mad scientist of comedy and proved it again. He let everyone have it, to the core, and then in true class-act fashion thanked them and "God Bless you and your families." After bringing 2 guests on stage to cut them down and bring them back up he sent out bottles of champagne to them and their families to enjoy. What a guy! Mr. Rickles went for over an hour and a half straight. Entertainers rarely go past an hour in the 20's, and he puts them all to shame. He is a wonderful man, with the best sense of humor. Even some of the jokes he's told for almost 70 years still had the place roaring with laughter. Just an absolute outstanding time with him that evening and something I will NEVER forget as long as I live. As long as we have him in our lives, go see him, you will NOT be disappointed. Truly remarkable.

At 90, Mr. Warmth still has his amazing sharpness and unique sense of humor. He was fantastic all night long, with a lot of fun interaction with the audience, and sharing so many great personal and professional moments with everybody. Don Rickles shows all his quality and demonstrates why he has been a top entertainer for so many years, and why he has been so respected by the entire show business world. A highly recommended show. Nice to say we saw him perform in-person, but that is it. Most of the show was film from wonderful years gone past with Frank Sinatra and others of that time. The sound quality was awful and the orchestra playing in the background while he talked made it impossible to hear what he was saying. He repeated the same "joke" three separate times. We felt bad for him. Wishing him well for a long life but would not recommend.

I was so very, very glad that my wife and I finally had the chance to see this living legend! Regardless of age folks this comedy genius did not disappoint. At almost 89, Don Rickles is as quick as ever with the insult, the put down and the acid laden barb. His show contains several video clips from his storied career and evey time these clips came on the audience howled with laughter. Rickles himself takes the stage and begins to grill the audience members that are within the target range of his twinkling eyesight. He went after men and women with malicious glee and the insults were as funny as they've ever been. The man also sings and his voice would make Dick Haymes proud (that's an inside joke that Don and Frank Sinatra would both appreciate). In all of my years (54) I can't recall laughing so much in one night. I have been a fan of Don Rickles since the late 60's. I have all of the Dean Martin Roasts simply because of Don. In 2016 I am proud to testify that his humor and his quick wit are both as sharp as they've ever been. Do yourself a favor, go see this outstanding comedy great and laugh the night away. Thank you Don for making me laugh for the past 48 years!!

I am a long time fan of Don Rickles, but this show was truly a disappointment. The show was a rehash of stories and songs that I have heard before. The videos shown, you could not hear the audio and the videos themselves were things I have seen a hundred times. Basically there was no new or current jokes or entertainment. The show was more of a tribute to his family and Frank Sinatra than entertainment. Don Rickles, singing was interesting but I did not come to see him for his singing. IF, the show was at a local Casino and the price was half what we paid, I would say well at least I got to see him. He HBO special was better than spending $225 dollars and I would have enjoyed watching it in the comfort of my home. Broward Performing Arts Venue, should not charge excessive parking, the seats are not comfortable and preventing me from taking pictures for this type of a show was simply ridiculous.

My wife and I were looking forward to seeing this legend of comedy. We were disappointed from the start! The size of the theater was inappropriate for a one man show. The acoustics were poor. The TV 'clips' of Don were too many along with his singing. Jokes were few and far between. We left with sympathetic hearts.

The Don Rickles Show had a full orchestra, pathos, history and laughs--lots and lots of laughs. The vignettes he showed on the screen of his days with Carson, Sinatra, The Rat Pack and more hit just the right nostalgia button. You could just sit back and revel in the tales of a man just a month shy of his 90th birthday who has lived a life overflowing. Video shots of his Navy service in WWII and of his mother wondering what would become of him, to talking about his 52 years of marriage to Barbara, and on and on... showed the love of life he lived. This was a show that you could not capture in an album or a video. A man who is too feeble to walk without aid and had to sit the whole time, but strong enough to capture an audience of thousands with just his words. It was a moment in time that I will never forget. He did his shtick with members of the audience and showed us that he still had what it takes to ad lib and make us laugh out loud at the foibles of others. The surprise for me was his singing voice. He sang the old songs, but with a vocal punch that belied his 90 years. As his matador music cascaded around him you were grateful to spend your time with "Mr. Warmth".

I read other reviews before going, so knew what to expect. I respect Don too much to say the show was bad, it made me sad. I loved him, grew up watching him perform both live and whenever he was on TV...he was truly a great.. Nevertheless, I knew this was probably the last time I'd be able to see him live. He is old, I think forgetful, as he kept repeating the same story several times before the pianist quietly and politely reminded him he told it already...it was mostly video clips, which would've been fine but the audio was horrible so couldn't understand majority of it... I just don't understand why he continues to "perform", surely he doesn't need the money does he? Overall, it was nice to see him, but mostly I was sad, because he shouldn't be up there, let us remember him as he was in his heyday...the BEST

The main problem was the acoustics - we only could understand about half of what he said - missing a lot of jokes. He was irreverent as always, and we enjoyed his politically incorrect bashing of every known race and religion - no one else could get away with that. We sat pretty far in the back - but elevated in the second row gave us a good view and the large screens helped with closeups. It looked like he people in the more expensive seats on the floor might have had trouble seeing the stage, particularly if they were small with a large person in front of them. We don't know if the sound problem was the arena or if it was Rickles, mumbling into the microphone. The other act before Rickles sang Sinatra songs - fine if you like Sinatra, but I hate him, so I had to suffer through that.

I've never seen Don Rickles live until I saw him Milwaukee - and I have to say he was incredible! No mercy for people in the front row! You have to love it! Seriously, who's going to sit in the front section when the Merchant of Venom is waiting to strike such defenseless prey? I like the fact that he has survived in the business for so long, and has maintained his edge! I've always thought Rickles was hilarious - especially in the old days when he guest hosted on The Tonight Show - but his live act has to be seen for anyone who loves a good masacre! His straight man on the piano had an unusual combined look of surprise, indifference, and aggitated (is that possible?) look on his face every time Rickles tore into him. I've never seen his friend Bob Newhart in concert, but I'll bet he's a riot just like Rickles - I'll need to check that out! Live long Mr. Warmth! This country needs people like you!

I loved this event because I am a big fan of Don RIckles. His performance was just as I expected and I laughed all through it. I would like to give it 5.0 stars but I can't. The reasons I can't give it 5 stars is twofold. 1. The even started 20 minutes late. This is a pet peeve of mine. SInce the doors opened early, we were sitting for about 45 minutes. If a concert says it starts at 7:00, then it should start at 7:00 not 7:20. 2. The event (once started) only lasted one hour. That is not very long for the price of the ticket. It could be because Don is much older now and can't do a long show. That is understandable but maybe it could be reflected in the price of the ticket. I hate to complain because I loved seeing Don and appreciate you bringing him to Snoqualmie. My biggest complaint is the late start time. I hope that was a fluke and not something you do at other concerts. Thank you for asking for my input. All the best! Moose

Horrible audio and sightlines, seating was tighter than Spirit Airlines, and the overstaffed (and too young) employees had no idea on seating questions, etc. but made time for their personal cell phones and conversation with each other. But, it was great show. Philbin and Rickles may be getting older, but their brains are in their thirties. Non-stop stories and filmclips made for a unique evening. The Rose needs to work on sightlines, improving the audio, and proper seating, because they are killing any repeat business- I've been to four events since they remodeled the former Gelson's grocery store, and I won't be going back until they make some changes. There are some entertainment production Pasadena area locals like Dan Rendant. Doug Stokes, Steve Kirk, etc., who could consult the operators of this venue and make it a great guest experience each night (with repeat business and increased revenue resulting).

This was my first time at The Rose in Pasadena and this was not a good setting for this because the sound was not adequate for a total speaking event and the noise from the ventilation made it hard to hear from the table we were sitting at. The staff in the kitchen at one point was so loud you couldn't hear what was on stage. The event started 45 minutes late and lasted maybe an hour and a half. 90% of this time was videoclips of Don Rickles past that i could have watched at home and saved $128 a ticket and $120 in meal(just two dinners and two drinks!). I understand that he is not a young man and he has slowed down due to health but I guess I expected more standup comedy even if he had to sit in a chair to do it. It was an opportunity to see a legend and for what i invested, I guess i was expecting more.

Don Rickles is still funny and sharp at 90 years old, Regis is a good friend and sets up the short video reviews very well, the show was not what I was expecting but understandably so on the fact that it looks like Mr. Rickles is not very mobile anymore. The audience for the most part was older people who enjoyed the walk down memory lane. Glad I went!

Still as rough, tough and lovable as ever. At 90, he's sharper, wittier, funnier and smarter than most comedians more half his age. Regis also did a great job of connecting with Don and the audience. There was nothing but love and laughter all night. I felt like a lucky voyeur in a couple of good friend's living room. Very intimate and fun.

Chuckled a few times at the video's, but I could find those on YouTube. Otherwise I would save your money. Regis kept forgetting words, Don just kind of reacted. Just not very funny. We were fine leaving and definitely would not do it again. Audience questions were monologues of " I met you once....." They should have a question.

at 90 years old, Don is as fast and funny as he ever was. He can no longer walk, and he still eviscerated everyone in the front row like he did when he was in his 30's. He also told many wonderful stories from his career and about his famous friends. Don't miss your chance to see Mr. Rickles. He's a legend and he won't disappoint.

At 90, last among the legends of the likes of Dean Martin, Frank Sinatra.. or should I say those guys were a part of the Don Rickles legend, as they were never as talented in the category of humor. If you miss his show in person, YouTube will give you a good taste of just how funny he is, but certainly try to make the show to see the legend himself, albeit physically limited now at 90, but still has the crowd laughing and ad libs with them as well.

I took my wife and dear friend who is 79 to this wonderful show to see this amazing comic icon Don Rickles, who was really the greatest ever. Understand that he is 90 years old, yet the wit and comic timing is still there. He can not stand up because of a leg ailment which he even mentioned in his act as to what happened. The class of this wonderful man can not be overstated. He even sang some songs and entertained us with incredibly funny moments on video including old Tonight Show clips and clips with Frank Sinatra and his greatest moments on the Dean Martin Celebrity Roasts. Considering that most comedy shows go about 70 to 75 minutes long, Don gave us that and still managed to make the audience laugh as well as move them. Expect to be roasted if you sit up front. That has not changed. If you're considering seeing him, don't hesitate to go. Realistically there aren't too many chances left and if you don't go, you will regret it..... especially if you've never seen him.

Don and Regis were entertaining but not spectacular. Don was wonderful last year, but this year it just wasn't great. The sound in the first few rows in the front was low, and Don kept making reference to get better seats. But the sound quality was better in the rows in the back. We paid $129 for our seats and were very disappointed. Will not do this again.

What's not to love about two icons reminiscing stories from their friendship over the years, highlighting many of Don Rickles performances. They were both so warm to the audience and seemed to enjoyed telling the stories as much as we loved listening to them. They are both treasures that should not be missed.

What a privilege it was to see this comedy legend in person. My husband and I laughed non-stop! I loved all the old clips from the Merv Griffin Show, the Dean Martin Roasts, etc. So many happy memories from my childhood in the 1970s! Mr. Rickles is still so vibrant and sharp- his legs may not work very well, but everything else does. Loved the tribute to his mother. You know it's a good show when your face is actually hurting from smiling and laughing!

Don Rickles is still the best, at 90 years of age. He is still quick with his comebacks. Regis was a good selection to be with him. Usually I don't like when a show is full of past video clips, but it worked with Rickles (whereas, it did not work when Jerry Lewis played the Bergen PAC a few years ago).

I quite frankly did not know what to expect going into this event, given the advanced age of Don Rickles. I must say, he was amazing, sharp as a tack, and still possessing his razor sharp wit. It was a very enjoyable show. He and Regis are terrific together.

Age has not effected the comic timing or stage presence of these two veterans. The fact they have been life long friends made the performance even more interesting. The show consists of them talking about old film clips from television shows and relating stories about one another. While parts are clearly rehearsed, there was a lot of spontaneity on the part of both men. I thought it was a really funny show and laughed a lot. These guys are both up there in age, but still very sharp and play off one another very well. I felt kind of sorry for Don Rickles. He sat through the entire show because of a problem with his legs. But at 90 years, I guess you are going to have some health issues. I really liked the advice he gave people about family and health being the most important things in life.

Wasn't sure what to expect, but the videos from the "old" days were great. Mr. Rickles, although older and a little frail, still has it. He told great stories and sang songs and of course had fun"insulting" the audience. Was very impressed and happy that we got to see such a legend.

Its easy to see why you can hate or love the show and I think reviews will be pretty well split. It had it's moments like when Don was ripping on the crowd, but then it had the video highlights of his career. We have you tube now for these clips. It also had singing from a 90 year old which was in a strange way endearing, but not really what you came to see. the Biggest gripe would have to be the price of the tickets. Everyone wants to see the comedy icon, but the prices were way too steep for what you get.

the show was pretty good but since our seats were so bad it kinda ruined our night. I wasn't told when I purchased (the pretty expensive) tickets that it was general admission. So we got there 10 minutes before the show, and had to literally sit in the last row. Couldn't see a thing. Totally ruined our night.

At least 50% of Don Rickles' performance consisted of video clips of his past performances. Approximately 20% consisted songs sung by Mr. Rickles. Another 20% consisted of stories about celebrities with whom Mr. Rickles performed. Only about 10% consisted of his comedy routine. I did not pay nearly $100.00 to watch video clips, listen to songs, or be bored with celebrity name dropping. I assumed I would be seeing Mr. Rickles performing a comedy routine. Instead 90% of the performance consisted of things other than Mr. Rickles' comedy routine. While I have some sympathy for his age and his medical condition, had I known that Mr. Rickles could not walk, stand, or perform his comedy routine, I would never have paid $100.00 for a ticket to the performance. If this show was representative of the shows Mr. Rickles is forced to do now, he should retire gracefully rather than continue performing.

Was very excited to see Mr. Warmth himself for the first time live but I have to say the show was a major letdown. Rickles didn't appear on stage until after 9:30 and the whole thing was over by 10:30. Much of that time was spent in the dark showing old clips on a projection screen above the stage. He told a couple stories that were a little hard to follow and rattled off a few of his trademark insults to the crowd, but that was about it as far as comedy. He also sang a few songs to the band behind him, but nobody comes to a Rickles show for the music! The man is a legend and its incredible that he's still performing at all at 89 but overall I definitely felt like it wasn't worth the price of admission. Also, balcony seating at this theater is first come first serve (which wasn't listed on the tickets) so by the time we got there all of the front balcony section had already been filled.

I was disappointed in the Don Rickles show at the Saban Theatre. He relied very heavily on old videotapes, was not shy about constantly revealing his infatuation with Frank Sinatra, sang very narcissistic songs about his life and military career, and spent 95% of the rest of the evening mumbling (often inaudibly) into the microphone. I understand he's almost 90, but he knows he's a shell of his former self. As such, charging over $100 per ticket made my group feel cheated; if he wanted to make one last stand in LA, should have either charged a lot less per ticket, or donated the proceeds to charity. I would not recommend this show to anyone.

I love Don Rickles and grew up watching him. But, with all due respect it is time for him to retire. The show was disappointing. The highlights of the approximately 1 hour and 10 minutes were the videos clips played for a good portion of it. Poor Don. He's 89 and loves to perform but it's time to do something else. I wish him well.

If you haven't seen Don, go seem him while you still can. Funny, Crisp and still with a riot. To open the show and a few more times, they show funny old video's (to give Don a little break), but that only adds history and context to the great career this man has enjoyed. Many of the same lines from 50 years ago, but Don's delivery still makes the funny. Note: You really need good seats if you go see Don as he sits in a chair for 95% of the act. PS. Even the friend I went with, who doesn't speak good English, really had a good time!

The venue was horrible, we were in the 'basement" of the Valley Forge Casino. We sat on stackable chairs that were entirely too close to each other and since the flooring was flat, the visibility was horrible, our view was of the back of heads of the people in front of us. It was as if we were attending a seminar. Mr. Rickles' show was to start at 8 pm,. It started at 8:15 pm with old T.V. clips from the Tonight Show with Johnny Carson, Dean Martin Celebrity Roast, etc. which lasted approx. 20mins., We did enjoy seeing the old clips. Afterwards, the curtain was lifted to view Mr. Rickles seated in the middle of the stage, where he remained and we were unable to view him, like I said we viewed the back of heads. Fortunately large T.V's. were on either side of the stage. He mostly spoke lovingly of Frank Sinatra and his mother, Etta. During these tributes to Mr. Sinatra and Etta he would play more T.V. clips. At one point he did bring up two men from the audience to reenact Japanese soldiers. The entire show was over at 9:30pm. I understand Mr. Rickles is 89 years old. However, we paid $444.00 for four tickets and usually when someone gets robbed there is a gun involved.

This was a seventy fifth birthday gift for my father in law. It was one of the worst performances that we have seen. Mr. Rickles was a great entertainer in his time, but he needs to retire. We all could not hear a word he was saying and for a quick witted comedian that is pretty important. I was trying to decide what was worst, Don Rickles or root canal.

Don Rickles was great! He's older now and can't walk around, but he is still as funny and sharp as ever! It takes a lot of guts as an 89 year old man to talk about trouble walking and not worry about it. He is still very sharp and a very sweet man!

I have always wanted to see Don Rickles but, unfortunately, he seemed very frail that night. He spoke very slowly and emotionally, which made for a good interview, say, but not really a great comedy routine - even for a short time. My tickets were cheap on a discount, which made the experience fine but I would have hated to have paid those rather high normal prices. Sorry to say!
