This was the second time I've seen them and loved it eventhough the sound was off a little bit. I don't think it was the band but the sound system. I've seen them before and the first time was spectacular. Highly recommend.

To be able to watch She Wants Revenge perform their debut album in its entirety was a memorable experience to last a lifetime. Justin and Adam did not disappoint in providing stellar musicianship and performance from vocals to keyboards to guitars. They, along with the rest of the band, stayed true to each song and performed additional songs requested by fans via Facebook and other social media. I hope they come back to Chicago soon and hoping for new music from them!

The band is amazing live. It's nice to watch a show where the artists actually perform.I love that the venue provides good visibility. The drinks were somewhat over-priced as usual.

The band was beyond my expectations. I love their music, but i had never seen them play live. Their songs were performed to perfection, everyone at the place was blown away. Best concert I've ever been to, if you don't know their music you should really check it out. Its truly something else. They perform new songs wish were awesome, the beats were weird and catchy. An amazing band!!!

I took a friend of mine to see She Wants Revenge at House of Blues in Houston and they were absolutely phenomenal. While we didn't care for the two opening bands, SWR took to the stage and had the crowd singing, dancing, and cheering loudly. Since taking her to see the show, my friend has become a die-hard fan. I became a fan of the House of Blues, as it is far and away one of the best music venues I've ever been to. It was an excellent night.

First time to see SWR live and they were awesome! Showed up late so didn't see Paper Route and not a fan of Kill Hannah at all...Huge fan of Joy Division and their music def reminds me of that genre of music. HoB is a good smaller venue to see bands-good sound and easy to see. Played a good mix of songs from first release and the newer one along w/new songs from the EP

The cool thing was that all my friends came all over texas to see She want revenge. We saw them last time they were in houston and even though it has been a while since they perform, the stage present was better and the new song were amazing. I was just happy that i was able to make the show and i am going to the next one they come to.

It was really exciting to see the opening night of this tour. Paper Route had a really interesting and complex sound--I liked them a lot. Unfortunately, this is the second time that Kill Hannah has opened for another band that I really wanted to see (the last time was for Innerpartysystem), and they just aren't that exciting. Pretty generic emo rock band. I was pretty much waiting for them to get off the stage. She Wants Revenge completely made up for KH, though, which is why I gave the show 5 stars. They rocked! I loved hearing their old stuff live, and I'm so excited to buy their new EP, now that I've heard the whole thing. They were absolutely fantastic, and they played quite a long show. After 5 years of following them, I was not disappointed at all by seeing them live for the first time. YAY, SWR!!!

It was great show the opening act Paper Route took me by suprise when I had heard there cd it was alright to me but it is ten times better live, than Kill Hannah came on which they had some good songs but couldn't tell you any of the titles. Than She Wants Revenge came on and it was a excellent show my only probelm is Adam12 looked bored and that he didn't want to be there...That is the only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of five

First time going to the House of Blues in Houston as well as first time seeing She Wants Revenge and the whole experience was great. Venue is a great place to see a concert, small but yet big at the same time. Band sounds as good if not better live as they do on cd. I would highly recommend seeing them if you are into 80's music. Especially bands like Joy Division and Sisters of Mercy. Great show and I will be seeing more there, and the next time they come to town I will be there.

The glass house is cool place to see concerts however the only bad thing is that there is curfew since its an 18 over venue, with that said if the band wanted to stay on longer they cant. However, the show was amazing, I would definitley pay to see them again. Also I-O-Echo started the show off and they were really good as well, never heard of them up until then but I know I will want to see them again live.

She Wants Revenge made a phenomenal comeback after they took a long absence. Bringing back that dark wave nostalgia revived that 'goth' scene that made it bittersweet to experience. The band played their more well-known songs, which included the famous "Tear You Apart" that was played in the popular TV show, American Horror Story: Hotel. Overall, what made this concert complete, besides their fantastic performance, was that I completed a dream of mine to watch them play and have the opportunity to hang out with them after the show and take a picture with them! This band will never disappoint!

Second time seeing She Wants Revenge and once again I was blown away. They put on such a great show, not only is the sound amazing but Justin and Adam have such great stage presence that you never want to look away. So happy they did a reunion tour, blown away that they played literally every song in their album and then came back to play some extras. If the opportunity to see them live occurs again I will surely be there!

We may be biased but for good reason! We were lucky enough to see them twice while they were in Florida. I implore anyone that hasn't heard them or maybe hasn't listened in a while to take a listen. Music means many different things to different people. What I love about she wants revenge is that I believe it resonates so personally to people and their fan base is fierce. To me it's, angst, brutal honesty, thought provoking, happiness, acrimonious and above all full of love and passion. Deep, dark music that resonates like no other to me personally. Adam and Justin are incredible poets and performers! Great indie band that should not be missed if they come to you city!

She Wants Revenge was amazing! A really great band to see live!, but the whole experience was wrong! The tickets said 8:00 PM and doors opened long past this hour. It did't say anything about opening acts... they were two, very bad and distasteful opening bands with the worst sound ever!! Finally past 11:00 pm the show for what I paid for started! and it was great but the whole experience was exhausting. By that time I was already stunned. It would be much better to know this in advance. I don't recommend this venue to see your favorite artists. This is not a venue for live shows, Revolution Live is just a bar with live acts! Usually overcrowded, more concerned in selling drinks than providing a great live show experience...

I was lucky enough to purchase VIP tickets (sold separately by SWR), so I got to meet Adam and Justin and be there for the sound check. I was in the front row for the whole show. They sound even better than the album. The crowd was great, security was nice. They played the whole first album plus an encore of 5 songs. After the show they stayed to sign autographs and meet with the fans. They are so humble and nice. I would recommend going to a SWR show to everyone!

She wants revenge was great. I walked out on Murphy twice. I went to see the show twice when the bands played in the New York area. The first night Murphy sat on his ass as the band opened their set. Just can't stand someone who feels they can treat their fans that way. Thought that it would be better the second night and it was the same. On the other hand, She Wants Revenge was just great on both nights.

On a positive note. She wants revenge rocked. Went to see Peter Murphy who was obviously very tempermental. What a disappointment to the fans because he wasn't happy with the soundman. Never been to a show without an encore. He seemed bored and pissed at the world. We just wanted to enjoy and listent to his music. What a pissy way to end a show.

The amount of time it took to change sets between bands was endless and unnecessary. If it is a ploy to sell more drinks, that is inexcusable. She Wants Revenge is earnest enough in their efforts, but is bland, boring and one-noted. Peter Murphy came on after a 40 minute change over to an incomplete set up. This pissed him off and set the stage for the remainder of the night. Encore? Lights? Mixed signals anyone?

Hi, I loved the venue and the afterparty was fun. She wants Revenge was really great. Peter Murphy was definitely having an off night. I almost thought that maybe he didn't feel well. He started out playing one of my favorite songs, then stops in the middle and plays something else. He was sitting on the drum stage for a while, which led me to believe that he was feeling weak. He didn't engage with the audience at all and he didn't do an encore. I know that the turnout was kind of light, but if he wasn't sick and was just annoyed by the light turnout then I will be really annoyed. I've seen him three times before this and he was incredible. Something was definitely wrong, Lets see how he does tonight in NYC.

She Wants Revenge was worth every part of these tickets, and would see them again; however, Mr. Murphy should pack it in. There was little in the way of satisfaction w/ his performance. This was not the Peter Murphy I knew growing up. No encore, and totally dismissive of the crowd. Now I understand he was having sound "issues", but as a performer you owe it to your fans to give 100% no matter the trouble. I shall not spend money on him again. Sad way to go out. It also didn't help that there was no marketing of this event, as evident by the size and enthusiasm of the crowd. Shame on the promoter.

First of all, no matter how many times I called the venue (up until day of show), they insisted that She Wants Revenge were the headline act and that Peter Murphy was going on first - specifically at 8 PM. The whole thing made no sense from start to finish, but I took their word for it. Actually, not only did they have the order reversed, but there was an additional 3rd band who went on first, at around 8:15. Peter Murphy didn't go on until a bit after 11! I could have lived with all of this if it wasn't for what happened next..... Peter Murphy, whom I have been a huge fan of most of my life (saw his first solo tour after Bauhaus broke up) came out in what appeared to be an 'unbalanced' mood. He apparently couldn't hear anything through this corded device that he had in his ear and didn't even pretend to notice that he had an adoring audience in front of him at all. He let the band keep playing and then ripped the corded thing from around his neck and hurled it at the sound guys head, took a seat by the drums and started drinking water. He then finally started singing some songs, obviously not wanting to, in the most sour mood. He didn't once look at the audience, just above us or eyes closed, cut short his set to only 45 MINUTES and walked off; no encore! The opening band played longer than that! It was disgraceful. Thank goodness for those opening bands though, because they were very good and made my huge commute to get there and ticket not a TOTAL waste. I would only ever see him again if he played with Bauhaus. This was a crappy thing to do to his fans. Plus, what was with the bulge in his pants the entire 45 minutes? That was strange and obviously distracting, to say the least :(

Hearing, seeing, and watching Peter Murphy was phenomenal. The fact that he was pissed and couldn't hear himself sing, but sound perfect was outstanding ... Those things I wouldn't change. The fact he didn't get on until 11, and then only played an hour with no encore was very disappointing, you could tell he and his guitarist were pissed about something, but it very much felt like they took it out on their fans that night. Lastly, while this show was disappointing, I wouldn't *not* suggest a Peter Murphy concert. I have seen him before and I know he can be an excellent performer.

Tore a sign out of a fan's hand and threw it on the floor because he appeared to be disgusted by the small crowd turnout for the Huntington, NY show on 11/18. Sang less than ten songs (did NOT sing Cut You Up) and then walked off the stage after approx. one hour without an encore - like he had been booed - which he was NOT, although he deserved to be for the bad attitude!!!

She Wants Revenge gave the fans a FABULOUS show!!! They sounded great and played a flawless set. Their song selection was excellent with songs from all three of their albums and a song from one of their EPs. They interacted with the fans well and sought the time to play an extra song. The crowd really got into it and the band was having a lot of fun playing the show. That always makes a big difference in the quality of the show. Adam did a great job on bass and keys while Justin was perfect singing and playing guitar. Thomas is an underrated guitar player and was superb. Scott did great on drums. The band also interacts with the fans before the show and after their set. The guys are extremely friendly with the fans and are happy to sign autographs and take photos at the merchandise booth. If you can see this show don't miss it! She Wants Revenge is a great band that doesn't get the media and radio attention they deserve. They are great guys without egos and you won't be disappointed. Get their early to see Hussle Club. They put on a good show and have written some good songs. They are also really friendly and their EP is definitely worth buying. Peter Murphy has an amazing voice and puts on a good show as well. My only desire was wishing that She Wants Revenge and Hussle Club had more time for longer sets, but unfortunately that's not up to them.

I'd never been to the Anaheim House of Blue before, and was excited to go. From the outside, it didn't seem too crowded. I picked up my tickets at will call with ease. But once inside, it was horribly crowded and HOT! Only one door for everyone to enter and exit through. There were 2 bars and a 3rd Beer Only Station, so getting a drink would have been fairly accessible, except there were just too many people. If House of Blues needs to maintain or increase their current revenue (and let's face it, who doesn't!) I would highly recommend charging a higher ticket price and lowering the guest capacity. We acutally left early because the heat and the crowd were just too much. It's unfortunate too, because She Wants Revenge totally rocked but I couldn't enjoy myself because of the over-crowded environment.

She Wants Revenge (SWR) with Kill Hannah live at the Vic Theater in Chicago, Il. October 1st, 2009! SWR's two front men Justin, and Adam could be seen mingling in the crowd as always; common anti-rockstar/anti-industry stand taken by players in the punk genre, but very uncommon for a non-punk band such as SWR who have found success on the radio, internet, and even on MTV. SWR has ventured away from record labels and have adopted the do-it-yourself approach, thus reeling in a fan base that will follow them right into the Rock'N'Roll hall of fame! Their newest Ep release "Up & Down" shows that SWR is allowing room for musical exploration, and as always, each album is better then the one before. So if you loved early SWR, you're going to become addicted to their latest! Least I forget to Mention that Kill Hannah was at the top of their game and they threw a CD release after party at Peter Wentz and Ashley Simpsons bar "Angels and Kings" on North Clark Street in Chicago with guest DJ Adam 12 of She Wants Revenge.

All in all the show was very good. We were there mainly for Kill Hannah who we have been following for 3 years now. The Webster Hall show was their album drop show for their fourth LP, Wake the Sleepers. First, this was the first time my son or I have been to Webster Hall. Tucked between 3rd and 4th Ave on 11th St. in Greenwich Village, this very unassuming building from the outside houses an beautifully restored ballroom inside. The marble staircase leads to a gorgeous room with hardwood floors, stunning vaulted ceiling, while the balcony drapes itself around the upper half. The owners have invested in state of the art lighting rigs and sound system. When mixed correctly the acoustics are very good. I give it 8.5 in my list of favorite venues. The opening act was Paper Route from TN. These quintet of multi-talented sound artists/musicians have a vibe that is kind of if Coldplay, InnerPartySystem and Bob Marley had a baby. There are more different instruments and electronic devices used in unusual ways to crete their sound. I immediately spotted the Tesla Coil on stage before they started their set. There was also a child's toy drum kit which was used for one song. All manor of electronic boards filled a table and there was even a glockenspiel used in one number. This band was crazy good. My son and I were impressed, will by their CD's and go see them again. They really need to be experienced live to appreciate what goes into their music. Honestly, they could have been headlining the other night, they were THAT good. Kill Hannah...well I can never really give them a bad review as they are very dear to us as people besides musicians. I'm not saying I haven't witnessed them having a bad night. But Wednesday night energy was high due to the new album dropping. On the record is a complete remake of an old classic of theirs "New York City Speed". It was obvious how much it meant to Mat Divine and Greg Corner (the two remaining original members of the band for this show) to play this new version for their friends and family that were at this show. Mat is originally from CT and between that and the incessant touring for the past 15 years, the tri-state area has become a second home for him. As for the newer members and fill-ins, that was hot and cold. Gil has replaced long time lead guitarist Jonathan Radtke. For us old die-hard KH fans it's tough to let go of Jonny but Gil is an incredibly talented guitarist and fills the spot well. My son and I spent a good deal of time talking to him after the show and learned his is an Israeli immigrant and has a warm personality, is intelligent and articulate. He's also a good hugger which is important to me. The regular rhythm guitarist, Dan Weise is off on his honeymoon. The guy filling in did a respectable job but he wasn't Dan. However he did provide enough positive contributions to the set and it was stunning. They played "Radio", "Strobe Lights" and NYC Speed from the new album They opened with an old anthem from For Ever and Never, "Kennedy" which got the crowd jumping. Other well known KH tracks were "Black Poison Blood", "Crazy Angel", "Nerve Gas", and they closed with the hit single from Until There's Nothing Left of Us "Lips Like Morphine". As for the headliner? Well I don't have much to say. We experienced their set from the downstairs lobby. I've heard some of the music but was really there for them. My son was and he went upstairs only to come back down at the end of the first song. He is a musician and a sound engineer so he's very picky about sound mixes and said that the tech did not know how to mix for that room and the quality was very bad.

Though I was expecting this to be a good show, I was pleasantly surprised. Kill Hannah was very entertaining. I liked their energy, and their light show. The sound was great too. She Wants Revenge put on a great show. They sounded great and came across as cool cats. 6 O'Clock Saints performed too, and my friend and I thought they put on a great show, between the music and the strong vocals.

Webster Hall and She Wants Revenge go together like wine and cheese. This is the 5th time I've seen them and I have never been disappointed. Justin voice is amazingly sensual and the crowd ate it up. They started off with 'Written In Blood' and the crowd went crazy. I was near the front and totally feeding off the excitement. They did allot of songs off their first album, a few from the second, the last EP, and did 3 songs off their new EP including 'Animal Attraction' which is my new favorite SWR song.

The band plays beautifully live. The sound editing was superb, I heard every word Justin said and every key Adam played. The band was really connecting with the crowd. They were mega nice to all of us. A really chill group of guys. They had everybody in the crowd either dancing or swaying back and forth to their songs. Let's just say that I like the band MORE now that I saw them live at Webster Hall. Thanks SWR.

The sound and energy provided by Kill Hannah was absolutley amazing. everything that you hear and see of their music online is true, if not better. She Wants Revenge had an energetic stage presence as well, but the vocal pitch seemed alittle of. all in all, the show was fun and well well worth it for its entertainment value. the only annoyance i had was trying to "be the fan". when each of those two bands finished playing, they packed up and disappeared behind stage for a short time, not unusual and understandable. but once out on the floor with us "common folk"...... well, Most of kill hannah left before the show was even over (poor dand ettiquette). granted, they were at their merch table for a short time. but being a smoker who also wants to see She Wants Revenge has its drawbacks to catch the killer Kill Hannah. and getting SWR's attention is like being in kindergarden waiting for snack time. "here's your milk and cookie, Joey. No, you can't have two cookies. Ok, it's nap time now. Go lay down". They just seemed to have stoped having fun with what they do and have had it become a job. So while the show was awesome, the aftermath was a bit unpleasant. i would reccomend seeing them as long as you dont expect to meet them or talk with them.

I've never listened to their music before but I have to say, they put on a very good show. I'll definitely be downloading their songs soon enough. As for the opening bands, Kill Hannah and The Paper Route; they did what opening bands were expected to. They entertained the crowd and really put out a good show. While I'm unfamiliar with The Paper Route, there was one girl who obviously was a die hard fan. The lead singer noticed her and dedicated a song to her (which seemed to be her fav). Kill Hannah, on the other hand, brought their own little fan base and kept them pretty hyped.

She Wants Revenge sounded better then I expected. I've heard reviews that their live shows were lacking, but personally I think they sounded pretty good. Once you see them live you'll realize that the singer's voice has been worked over on the recordings quite a bit, and it just sounds kinda funny live.

Amazing concert. They had two opening bands; IO Echo and Great Northern. IO Echo was also amazing, their energy and music is just awesome. Great Northern are great musicians, but their music lacked energy in my opinion. Great band none the less. And of course She Wants Revenge was just a little bit more than what I expected, it was amazing!

I've been a big fan of these 10 year reunion/ anniversary shows. It was great to see an album I enjoyed listening to a decade ago being performed live. She Wants Revenge put on an enjoyable and memorable show. Unfortunately, my friend and I stood next to a couple up front that wanted to stand still and hold on to each other instead of enjoy the music (but that's neither about the band nor the venue). Brighton Music Hall is a dark and quirky venue. There is a pool table and a couple arcade games in the back. There are 3 bars to choose from. There is a place for everyone- whether you like to be up close and personal with the band or you like to be able to congregate with your group in the back.

This concert totally rocked! I have their music but never seen them live before. I'll never miss another show after this concert. They sounded fantastic, Justin's voice live is better than the album versions. Venue was small but that made it more intimate and the sound was great in there.

I can't say enough about this show. I was originally expecting to see them in Houston the following night. However, I had a friend coming to San Antonio and as luck would have it-"She Wants Revenge" was playing there as well. It's rare to me to find a band this good playing in small, intimate settings. They were always very expressive of how appreciative they were to their fans when I had seen them in previous shows in Houston. I brought a friend to the San Antonio show who did not know of them and is now a fan. Loved the venue!

The event was incredible. The bands first time in NYC in awhile and they did not disappoint. Regardless if you are a longtime fan, and know their earlier work, or have just started to get into their more recent albums, there was a set list to please all. It was a show not to be missed.

First of all, I loved the venue. My friends told me it's the old "Ritz", and it's 3 floors, very old, perfect for the type of music She Wants Revenge plays. Second, I loved that there was a good mix of people, from geeks to goths and middle-aged to young-ish. I like the selection of songs, because I honestly did prefer the 1st album compared to the 2nd. And I felt happy to hear some of the new "not yet released" songs. However, I was very dissapointed that the band went on so late, 10:30pm, on a WEEKDAY night, a Wednesday. Don't they know that their audience has WORK the next day? It's very hard for some of us, who take the train from Long Island or other areas, to leave a show so late and get home so late. The show was over around 12:30, so that's VERY late on a weekday night when the train runs only once every 3 hours. If we worked hard to make it out to see the band, then they should have started earlier. Plus, i also think the show was kind of short, only about an hour and 10 minutes. I expected more. I also expected more visuals, maybe a visual presentation or movie clip or something other then just playing of the instruments. Overall, I really LIKE she wants revenge and I LOVE their music, but I was left wanting more. I feel like I just didn't get enough worth out of the LATENESS and SHORTNESS of the show.

she wants revenge's performance was unbelievably amazing. the entire show from opening band paper route, kill hannah and of course she wants revenge themselves was packed with great music, intense energy, and bodies dancing all over the floor. all bands perforemed great new songs and old classics that had the entire place jumping on their feet and singing along. over all, one of the best shows i've been to this year, and probably in the past as well. well worth seeing!!!

Really great concert. I managed to get right up front against the stage, and it was amazing. They played a lot of their best songs, and I had a really great time. The opening acts, Paper Route and Kill Hannah, were also really good. I had to give it four stars instead of five for two reasons. The first is that I felt that the band members of SWR didn't interact with the audience enough. The members of the opening bands would reach down and touch the fans and throw guitar picks and stuff, while SWR didn't do any of that. The second reason is that there was no encore, which was lame. Overall though, great show. SWR is good live, and I'd recommend them.

SWR is an incredible band and they put on an amazing show last night at Webster Hall. The whole audience was dancing, great vibe. The music was incredible, Justin Warfield is legendary, his voice, his dancing. The whole night was infectious, you don't know She Wants Revenge until you see them live.

She Wants Revenge always put on a good show--they sound great live and have good energy. I don't know why they refuse to do encores?! Anyway, they played a lot off of their first album, which is great becaue that's really their best stuff. They played a couple of songs from their new EP, which I have not yet heard, but the songs sounded a bit cheesy. My friend commented that one of the songs reminded him of "Word Up," that 80s song by Cameo........not sure where this band is going but it was a good show!

Wow! This band is really into their music and loves their audience. Brought me back to the 80s Joy Division sound but without the depressing lyrics. Lead singer has an unforgettable charisma, and the band is tight and segues from song to song. Far exceeded my expectations. Cheap ticket too!
