The show was spectacular !!!!! It's sad to see Kenny is getting old and is having a tough time getting around the stage however, his voice and sense of humor is still spot on. He is and always will be a "GREAT ENTERTAINER" right up and to his final deal. LOVE YOU KENNY AND THANKS FOR THE GREAT "ENTERTAINMENT" & SONGS !!!!

I had a great night for our first concert in OC Maryland. Loved the small armory atmosphere. Kenny Rodgers was sick with flu, but gave us the best farewell tour he could. Awesome night with many happy memories and tears

Kenny Rogers is a great performer and he is ageless. At age 72 he was still winning fans over and the fans could not seem to get enough. He did his ageless classic songs from the beginning of his career to the middle of his career to his current point of his career. While he may have slowed a bit he was still quite agile quick whitted. He showed snippits of his movies and even had a improvised bit for a new movie. There is no doubt of his talent and his appeal. I had two teenagers with me who came away with a new respect for Kenny and his music. They had come to the concert with the question of who was this guy and why should they listen to him. He won them over. I really had a good time listening to him and watching Kenny perform. I only which Kenny had had a full house instead of the partial house he had. He is a timeless and ageless performer.

We had an incredible experience! The venue was great, the performers were unforgettable, and the staff members were kind and helpful. Two members of our party required extra tender loving care (Grandma and Nana) and we were upgraded to some of the best seats in the house! Thank you all for such a great time! We will remember it always.

Such a fabulous night of entertainment and surprises. I was expecting Kenny to do duets with a variety of artists but was not disappointed in the fact he mostly listened to other mega stars singing his hits. Hate to see Kenny go but if he has to retire this was the perfect send off!

First time seeing Kenny and probably the last, as this is his last tour. I got my wife meet and greet tickets for her birthday. Kenny's crew was down to earth and great individuals! Kenny, himself, was the nicest celebrity I think anyone could ever meet! He will be 79 on August 21st. So he is frail and can't hit all of the notes, that he used to, but it was like seeing an uncle on stage! The best event I've EVER seen and probably won't ever be matched! I would do it all over again, in a heartbeat!

First time seeing Kenny. What is a final tour without memories and reminiscing? He may do this at all shows but it was great to see and hear the old songs and hear Kenny's stories. He was a good looking man. Sorry he felt the need to try and slow/stop aging. Always best to hear the original voices. He does need to stop if his knee replacement recovery has been going on since last December at the Fox. It's hard for him to walk and get around! Recommendation: have a camera on performer to put on the video screens on stage. I'm sure no one on the lawn could see the stage and or performers. Linda Davis was fun to watch.

Great show... Kenny was not feeling the best due to a bad knee, joked about it, but sang and talked to the audience with style. Can see why he is a legend. His co singer was Linda Davis who made him and the show great as she came on and off stage in various outfits. Linda is a class act and beautiful singer (Grammy Winner, #1 hit with Reba & mom to Lady A). Screens out front did provide a bit of blocked view for the lower side seats.

I took my boyfriend to see Kenny Rodgers for part of his Christmas as it was something he has wanted to do since before I knew him. It was a great concert and we had so much fun. As I joked with another concert goer it was something off of his bucket list that I was happy to accomplish. The only problem we came across was that when we sat in our seats it felt like we were sitting on top of each other. Something small but we didn't let it get to us. We had an amazing time and will come back again if there is some one there we like. I do recommend going if one gets the chance. It really was a great experience.

Kenny walks the audience through his life, hand in hand with memorable events blended with passionate songs. This concert was the most emotional concert I've ever attended. Still incredibly sexy yet humbled by life, Kenny delivers a moving performance that brings the days-gone-by into perspective that leaves the audience feeling nothing lasts forever. Enjoy life and love one another. Incredible! You will be missed, Kenny! Tennessee loves you!!

My husband and I enjoyed the concert very much. I especially liked that Kenny was on stage the entire time and brought out his guest Linda Davis several times throughout the show instead of having two separate programs. Kenny had just had knee surgery and sat most of the time; he said it was a choice of sitting or not doing the show at all and we are so glad that he chose to perform. He told background stories before each song and showed pictures on the screen; it was interesting to get his insight and perspective. The show lasted about 90 minutes and was very entertaining.

Yes, he is 77. Yes, he is having knee problems, Yes, he is not the performer he was 30 years ago. But, man, how absolutely refreshing to see this legend in the raw (no techno voice cover up here or lip-synching). He is real. He is aged. He is still a #1 entertainer. And he gained all my respect for truly putting his heart back on stage when his voice and body are not at the top of his game! Go see this for the "real" life experience!

This was my 5th time seeing Kenny live, and my first time seeing his Christmas show. I'm so glad I came.... Although he did forget some of the words to some songs, so did I! What a wonderful evening on 12/15/15. Hearing the songs I grew up with and a wonderful Christmas performance in the 2nd half of the show using local choir to join in and sing along. That saying, " who is going to fill my shoes when I'm gone " I don't think anyone can fill Kenny's shoes. Still going strong even though having a hard time walking after having a knee replacement but you just can't keep a good man down! Kenny, you touched my heart in your performance and you showed how proud we all are to be an American. Felt a strong presences of God in the building as you gave it all thru God's Grace! MERRY CHRISTMAS and thank you!

This was the first time I saw Kenny Rogers live, after having listened to his great music for three decades or more. I had an incredible vantage point of sitting in the very first row, so perhaps my perspective will not be that of everyone who attended. The venue was the Star Plaza Theater in Merrillville, Indiana. It is a cozy setting, with nice unobstructed views and excellent acoustics. Still, I was immediately aware that the theater was only about 2/3 full. Kenny came out at precisely 8 p.m., and for the next one hour, performed all of his most memorable songs; "Lady"; "Coward of the County"; "You Picked a Fine Time to Leave Me Lucille"; "The Gambler"; "Through the Years"; etc. He did not play the entire songs, but rather did snippets of each. This was outstanding, and his voice was virtually flawless, although a few times, his mouth strayed from the hand-held microphone and his words were distant. I went with my wife and two young children, and Kenny smiled and waved at the kids, and then, at the completion of the first hour, he tossed autographed tambourines directly into my adoring kids' hands! They went wild, as expected. There was a 20 minute intermission, and then he and his band returned for 40 minutes of Christmas songs. I should mention that he was accompanied on many of his songs by country music star Linda Davis, and she was exceptional. She came out in many different outfits, and her voice was superb. For the second segment, Rogers was accompanied by five young children, and these kids were amazing. He also brought out about 40 members of the Merrillville High School Choir, and let me say, this was so well done and so carefully assembled and crafted, one might think these folks had practiced with him for weeks, if not longer. At 10 p.m., he promptly finished his show. Because of my unique vantage point, I left being grateful for having had a chance to be so close to him. He did not disappoint me in any of his performance, and I highly recommend this as a must-see event, for either first timers, like me, or for those who have been fortunate enough to see him live at other events. He also paid tribute to our country's service men and women, and this was a very nice touch. Kenny Rogers was worth every minute of seeing, and I may actually follow him to another venue, as he did announce that he was going to "retire" next year, to spend more time with his 11-year old twin sons. So, if you haven't done so already, I recommend finding him and making the trek out to wherever he is-but do sit as close as you can, and take in all his greatness up front. It is worth every penny.

I never seem to be able to get in the mood to decorate or shop for Christmas until I hear Kenny Rogers sing some holiday songs. I have enjoyed his Christmas shows "through the years" and will miss him and Linda when they retire the show. I hope Linda Davis continues the tradition, perhaps having other country acts join her every year, but this one is not to be missed.

The whole show was very sad. I've loved Kenny Rogers for many years, and have seen him in concert at least a million times. Now he can hardly walk. He forgot the lyrics to a few of his hits, and when he did he would turn around to the band as if to say "help"! At times when he went to sing, nothing came out. I'm glad that I got to see him again, but I'm afraid this will be the last concert of his that I will attend as I would rather remember him the way he used to be.

I'm a big Kenny Rogers fan, and I'm glad I got to see him live for the first time. HOWEVER, his time has passed. His voice is an issue. There are times where you hear that full, rich voice that we love. There are times where you hear that his voice is shot. Most times it ranged in-between. BUT...he was in excellent spirits and displayed an incredible sense of humor and comic timing. His show started pretty much on time. Show had a 9pm start time. I got to my seat about 9:07pm. He hit the stage at 9:08. Show lasted a quick 75 minutes with no encore (he jokes about that during the show). So when you hear "Islands In The Stream"...that's your cue if you have a horrible parking space or want to beat the crowd out. I took my cue from the crowd, as I had a spot at the very back of the parking lot and I had a 90 minute drive back to Toronto. Two things that I didn't like: He messed up "Lady" (how do you do that?) and he didn't sing all of "Coward Of The County". That's a song that you have to sing ALL of it in order to make sense. He went from the first verse to the third verse. Basically, "Becky" does not exist. He said that he's embarking on his final tour next year and retiring. It's time. But I am thankful I got to see him. Can reccomend only to hardcore KR fans

The show was wonderful! Kenny Rogers has a lot of energy! Other reviews have made remarks about him holding his chest while he sings, alluding to him not being able to catch his breath...but if you look at old videos on YouTube, he has always done this...It's part of his style. Also, he doesn't "forget" stanzas of his songs; some are sung as medleys, and so they are shortened versions for time constraints. I have a lot of admiration for Kenny Rogers. He is still a fabulous singer, and he is an incredible businessman. I look forward to seeing him again. Second Act was the Christmas Show: The kids and Kenny were great. Linda Davis didn't really seem believable...she was way too over the top animation-wise. The venue is beautiful, too. I would not hesitate to return, although I would prefer orchestra seating over the box seats we had.

Kenny was much more relaxed Saturday than he is in the large venues such as the MGM Grand. He and the band were simply having a good time playing tunes and interacting with the audience, in the sunshine with a cool breeze off the lake. I loved the Kenny Rogers show. It took me back to the '80's and all my friends I had at that time. I would like to have heard more of his strong voice during the Christmas singing. Not that I didn't enjoy the chorus and Rebecca Lynn Howard, but I was expecting more of Kenny's holiday songs.

Kenny Rogers was awesome. His medly of hits was fantastic and then the Christmas program was great. Using local children is a great idea. The female artist who sang with him had an unbelievable, powerful voice.

Kenny really delivered beyond my expectations. He shared some of his private life and thoughts with us, and entertained with the relaxed professionalism that only a seasoned old artist can do.

Very entertaining show! Was very surprised as to the look of Kenny,, I am wondering if he is not well. He looked really tired, and SO THIN!! Also was expecting, him to be dressed somewhat like a "STAR", that he is. All this being said, he sounded great, had good time with the people in the audience. We loved seeing him and hearing him sing our favorite songs. Thank you ;;Kenny.. we had a great time!

I sent my mom and dad to see Kenny R for their 37th wedding anniversary. These comments are from discussions I had with each of my parents. They aren't huge country western fans but like a few of his songs. My mom commented how many of the songs she heard before but didn't know he sung them until this concert. They loved it! They also loved how he joked around and spoke to the crowd. The venue was a smaller one, but all the better!

even though he cracked the same jokes as he always does (i knew them word for word), they still don't get too old. He may not have looked as great as he once did, but he can still pound those notes out. He is amazing and a wonderful artist. Kenny Rogers has been my hero for almost 2 decades

Glen Campbell may not be the best talker with a live audience, but he can still sing great and plays his guitar AMAZINGLY WELL. Kenny Rogers is better than ever and I LOVED both his chatting with the audience AND all his memorable hit songs from the past 50+ years. HE IS THE BEST!

My wife and I seen the Glen Campbell show for the 3rd time this year. Glen sounded GREAT! His voice was very strong and he put on a good show. Very well done. The sound was great plus, There was a gal there signing for the hearing impared. I thought that was very classy. We did not stay for the Kenny Roger's show. We had to leave. We gave out tickets to another couple who wanted to see Kenny.

Glen Campbell was the first show and he performed for an hour. It is always great to hear a performer sing his hit songs. He did a fantastic job (for 73 yrs old). What I had forgotten was his skill at playing the guitar - it really seemed a natural part of him. His show was a performance of Glen's songs and his instrumentals. Kenny Rogers' was geared for more stage entertainment with colored lights and video scenes. He communicated with the audience - telling short stories and connecting w/ laughter. He sang his classic hits like he enjoyed presenting them to the audience. He gait on the stage was a bit slow (he is 70 yrs old) but did not distract from the show's natural flow. Close your eyes and listen to his voice and he was any age you remember. Fun time.

The concert was great! Neal E. Boyd was wonderful and it was a great way to spend my birthday. Neal is fabulous and I was happy to vote as much as I could for him last year on America's Got Talent. I had seen Kenny Rogers in concert eons ago, but again, this was fabulous...interactive with the audience, laid back, brought back a lot of memories and he's still got the voice! Thanks for the many years of music! I would go again in a heartbeat...and the best part is that it helped to benefit the Children's Center!

I thought the show was good and entertaining considering Kenny can just about walk but he was funny throu out the show joking several times about his age and ailments. His career story of how he started in the business was interesting and he played some of his old songs with the original groups he was in. I thought the show was good but sad to see that Kenny is now half the man he once was.

I ve always liked Kenny Rogers so was expecting a good show. He was obviously very frail, he could barely walk and nearly fell off his chair. He couldn t seem to get the breath to sing. He could reach the low notes, the rest he couldn t reach. His voice was also very gravelly and there was absolutely no expression on his face. It was very uncomfortable sitting there and witnessing this. I understand this was a farewell tour, but I feel the audience didn t get the show they paid for.

We've loved Kenny since the beginning, so I am really sad to say that I wish we had skipped this show and relished the memories of previous performances. He has gone so far downhill- unable to remember lyrics, yawning incessantly, and not enough energy to sing a full song. And the set list was very disappointing- many random, non-traditional choices, and none of his signature Kenny/Dolly Christmas songs. He even sang "Islands in the Stream" solo, rather than having the "Dolly" stand-in complete the duet- very strange. The whole show was a very big bummer. Sorry!

We were hoping to hear his original Christmas songs. None were played and the ones he did sing were the cheesy ones. He struggled to sing the whole time in between calling in others to sing and his coughing fits. We have been to numerous concerts and this was by far the worst and the biggest waste of money. People actually walked out in the middle of the show so I know we weren t alone.

Kenny was good but He seemed tired and I know why this is his last time performing He forgot lyrics and didn't play enough songs. We have seen Him several times before and he was a lot better . We love all he has done as a performer through out His Career but for His Family and Friends I'm glad He is going to take his well received retirement. Thanks for all your music and movies Kenny

Kenny is showing his age. He had a lot of help with his songs - Linda Davis and choir. He missed a few notes. That being said - still love him and glad that I went to the show. He gave it his best and for that I am thankful. If I'm that witty and an entertainer at 79, I'd be happy.

I have loved Kenny Rogers' music for what seems like forever, beginning when he was with The First Edition. He was on my "bucket list" of entertainers to see. He was in great physical pain throughout the show, and gave it his best however he is not well. He said he was having major surgery in January, and my hopes and prayers are with him. We paid "way extra" for the VIP package that was also extremely disappointing. I thought we got to meet Kenny and have our picture taken. When we got there, we were told the package we bought entitled us to a poorly made "Christmas stocking," a deck of cards, place holder and poster -- all for a greatly higher price than a standard seat. The VIP tags and lanyards were told to us to be "vanity tags" that were actually worth nothing. I threw them away after a hugely disappointing evening.

It is advertised as Kenny Rogers farewell tour. And I enjoyed the music and background videos, but over all the show was sad to watch. Kenny is barely able to walk, and did most of his show from an easy chair. He struggled to sing some songs and forgot the words in a couple of places. The good part was the stories he told of events though out his career. He is 79 years old and looks frail. He mentioned that he is scheduled for heart surgery in January and I hope he recovers well and can enjoy life with his family.

For a 79 year old Kenny, he puts on a great show. His voice is still strong. Linda Davis added her voice and was an added treat.

Don't get me wrong, Kenny is just gorgeous but his show is getting old. Same jokes, picks on the same sections, tells the same stories, etc. He may be getting older but it's time that old dog learns some new tricks! If you've never been it will be a treat. If you've seen it before, forget it.
