Show was better than I thought it would be. KC and his Sunshine Band had so much energy and KC was very engaging and in sync with his audience. A real connection. I grew up in the 70 s and loved his music. He still sound great and I highly recommend seeing him to all who want a real fun and happy time!!

The KC & The Sunshine Band show in Grand Island Saturday was a blast. It was 2 hours of movin & groovin to the feel good sounds of my teenage years. The band itself was great with the horn section, multiple percussionists, keyboards & guitars they set the pace for the vocals. KC was in good voice & for a 67 year old still had the dance moves. In addition..Maria Dicenzio led a great group of backup singers & dancers. All in all a wonderful show that put you in a great mood. A little disappointed in the turnout...those who were there LOVED IT & those who weren't missed out. Thanks again to the Hall County Fair board for bringing quality entertainment to Central Nebraska. Can't wait until next year...

The music was great and fun to dance to, he sounds just like he does on CD I met him afterwards for a signing and he was wandering around the Emerald Queen Casino. The guy NEVER smiles and acted hateful towards his fans. He acts completely different and opposite than the charade you see onstage. Major jerk

They were high energy and well scrtd. the back up singers and the band were fantastic. I have heard them before but i think this time was the best. He reflected back on his years in music. It was one of the best cvoncerts i have been to. And i have gone to many in Las Vega and Reno that were not as good as this show. He kept the crowd going at all times.

I paid over $50 per ticket and words cannot express how disappointing the show and the Emerald Queen Casino. K.C. was totally out of shape and literally gasping for breath between each rendition. The Casino was beyond dirty and poorly decorated for this event. I WILL NEVER ATTEND ANY FUNCTION AT THE EMERALD QUEEN CASINO!!!!!

Look , I have been to alot of concerts that claim to have great shows from the 60's, 70"s, 80"s it's amazing and a solid tribute to this groups longevity that all ages enjoy his showmanship and songs to this day. Clearly , this is a class act and will be enjoyed by all ages for years to come. I saw him in Boston some twenty five years age and they haven't lost their tough to capture everyones hearts. stay the course - job well done

My hubby and I could not believe how fantastic this show was. Put us both back twenty years ago. Closed our eyes and we were there. DISCO DISCO DISCO. KC just looked older, like both of us, but his sound was great. Emerald Queen keep giving us these fantastic concerts....twenty years ago I could not afford to buy tickets to any concert. Now we see five to six a year!!!

My hubby and I had a blast! The music from that time really brought us back and had us dancing and singing. KC himself was a riot and every bit the showman he has always been. The only thing that puzzled us was how ANYONE in that building could sit........it wasn't an orchestra concert! If he comes back, we will definitely be there!

Best concert I've seen in a very long time. If not the best! KC was awesome--still dancing around the stage like a teenager. The entire audience knew every single song he sang. Got them all fired up, too. Sounded great. I HIGHLY recommend this show if you are in any way a Disco lover.

I've seen KC and the Sunshine Band 3 times prior to the July 1st, 2009, concert at the Del Mar Fairgrounds. They always get the crowd up and dancing, from young children to senior citizens. This show was no exception. Their music, and their show, are lively and leave people feeling good. I'm not really a big disco music fan, but I love the good feelings I get at a KC show. It is fun to watch the crowd get up and enjoy themselves. The band played many of their hits that people are familar with and want to hear. Also, the degree of loudness was just right. Nothing ruins a concert for me like a band that is way too loud. When I get stuck at a concert where the sound is too loud, I have trouble picking out the tune being played because it all become noise. This was not an issue at KC's concert. This was a great show, and a nice evening out. One extra plus of the show was that KC stuck around afterward to sign things for people. He wasn't pushing any merchandie. He just signed our ticket stubs, and that gave us a nice souvenir of the show.

I'm dead serious. The show K.C. and the Sunshine Band put on at the San Diego County Fair was one of the most exciting concerts I've ever been to. And I go to a lot of concerts. The set up of the fairgrounds grandstand makes it very difficult for a band to build rapport with an audience. (As I observed with Switchfoot less than a week before.) As K.C. and his band and dancers started their show, very little energy was given back by the crowd. But K.C.'s crew persisted. Little by little, the unflagging energy of K.C. (at 58!!!!) and the band, singers, and dancers began to be reflected back by the crowd. By the end of the concert, the whole crowd was caught up in the disco frenzy and was on their feet dancing and singing along. Again, it was an amazing example of how a band can move the most unmovable crowd. An incredible thing to witness.

K C and the Sunshine band goes way back to my teenage years. The music sounded great, the dancers were fun to watch and well KC.... He is funny, sincere and even though aging he still has the funk. He isn't Mick Jagger or anything but I enjoyed the show and the dinner. The money I spent should had been less since the venue was free but I had a great seat. I didn't set down the whole time but hey...... never know. Wish the Sunshine Band could had warmed the air on a cold San Diego night.

I always think he is great. Band has great energy. He was a little under the weather so his voice wasn't as strong, but he is still KC. I first saw him in 1973 and I will continue to see him as long as I'm able. I love him and his band, they are great.

Sold out show. KC kept the audience engaged not only with the songs we all know and love, he spoke to the audience about getting older, new pop icons and new generation. Always enjoyable when you attend a concernt with people who know the artist, sing along with the songs...people were dancing in the aisles. The venue was decent, its a convention center so you sit in banquet chairs with row letter taped to the floor. Domestic beers were $5, mixed drinks $8. The bathroom lines were long, I think there was only one in the concert area, there may have been more but you had to go out of the concert area to use them. I would recommend seeing KC, he played favorites and did some cover tunes.

Not only was the entertainment top notch, but KC was enthusiastic and clearly was loving every moment of the performance along with us, his audience. He was as high energy as Jimmy Buffet and performed his music even better than his original records back in the 60's, 70's and 80's. The concert was flawless and it was easy to see that they must have had endless rehearsals to produce such an outstanding event.. The lighting and sound systems were perfect with all the performers having fun in addition to churning out music in a perfect manner. I have always liked KC & The Sunshine Band but now I love them. I will be first in line to buy tickets when they come back to town along with at least 10 friends who are now jealous of my marvelous experience with KC & The Sunshine Band.

The Hard Rock Cafe in Davie, FL should have Gigantic Screens as to show the stage for people (as me) who sat away from the stage!!! 2 cameras woulkd have done it to catch close-ups from KC, and the musicians on their solos... The artist was seen from my point of view as they were 2 inches high...

I didn't realize how many hits KC and the Sunshine Band actually had...it was 2- 2 1/2 hours of nothing but hits! Song after song brought me back to my youth and the songs I would sing along and dance to back in the 70's and early 80's! The show was amazing! KC sang each song PERFECTLY and his back up singers were on the money! The backup singers were also dancers! and very good ones at that! Then there was the band...I also didn't realize how many people and instruments made up the Sunshine Band!!! The band was very very tight...hitting all the breaks and changes without a hiccup even during a multiple song medley it was perfectly synchronized! I am dying to go see them again!

Once again, KC and the Sunshine Band presented a fabulous show! We were able to get to the front of the stage for the entire concert and had a great time. KC and his music is still as fun today as it has always been, and we thoroughly enjoyed our concert. KC was very enjoyable to watch and made the crowd feel very special during the show. We had backstage passes and were able to meet and greet KC. We had an enjoyable meeting and chatted with him for about 20 minutes. We weren't rushed, and then had our pictures taken with him. We will definitely be attending his next show in our area.

As many times as we have been to Detroit, I'm ashamed to admitt we didn't know about events at Motor City Casino. Now, we don't want to go anywhere else! The place was georgeous and we felt like we had slipped away to Vegas for the evening. KC and the Sunshine bands performance was outstanding. The way we were treated from the time we got there until we left was wonderful. I can't stop telling people about how they should go check it out. I know we will be back!

I am a product of the 70's and was really looking forward to the show. I went with the understanding that I would not be seeing a live version of my Best of KC CD. I wasn't disappointed, but I could have done without the updated versions of his hits, the dancing girls, and screaming guitars. I loved his music the way it was, but I know that he's trying at age 59 to appeal to a younger audience. It was a great show for sure!

All the time when I have the opportunity to see KC & The sunshine Band performances WOW I enjoy dancing and singing. It's incredible how KC and his band make you lose control and get contagious with their rhythm. He is a great entertainer. KC makes you dance, sing and laugh yes he make some funny jokes about aging. KC is able to entertain even very young audience. I saw girls and boys between 8 to 12 years as well teenagers dancing and singing. KC's music is timeless. KC may joke about his round belly and old age, but he still lights up the stage and dances around with the best of them. He did a great job on vocals and his band was as sharp as ever (although not all the original Sunshine Band, of course). The dancers were a little on the 'strip club' side, but nevetheless the show was 100% entertaining and worth the ticket price plus. For any of us 70's music freaks, the show was perfect!

Every time KC comes to the Atlanta area, we make sure to see his show. He never disappoints. It seems every show just gets better and better. Before this show, he spoke about how he loves coming to perform here.....mainly because his family is located here in Mableton ( where he grew up)...such a sweet man.....especially when he said: "what the hell happened?"...referring to his age and how the years have flown by. I wish I could have just given him a big hug. We love KC & the Sunshine Band and we will be so sad when he stops performing.

Having life changes in this world has stopped the personalities in people. You may not expect such an energetic and great looking and sounding concert out of a well-aged group like KC and the Sunshine Band, but that is exactly what you will get and you will feel very well entertained. It will be time and money well spent (especially if you are a fan of the genre) and it definitely was for me and my family.

This was one of the most awesome concert of the many I've been to over the years! The crowd was on its feet dancin almost the entire time as Harry Wayne took us back to our disco days. He may be a little older, broader & balder but he's still got the moves & that great sound at 64! His band. backup singers & dancers were amazing!

Literally everything about the show was fantastic except for the low audio of the artist. I was sitting almost right by the audio engineer so he should of known to turn it up. My hearing is great, i myself am an audio engineer and it could of been louder.

From beginning to end, this is one of the best shows I have ever been to. KC is still energetic and entertaining. He interacts with the audience and with his band. Top notch band, backup singers and dancers. He played all of the favorites and even mixed in songs by other artists. I saw him about 20 years ago and his show is just as good now as it was then. Be ready to put on your boogie shoes and dance!!!

I have seen KC about 10 times since the 70s. The last 6 years have been at Paragon Casino in Marksville, La. The show that they put on now is as awesome as it has ever been! I saw people of all ages from 5yr olds to elderly people in wheelchairs and scooters who were all enjoying themselves and having a great time. As long as they keep returning I will keep going to see them! That is our once a year girls weekend and that's who we choose to spend it with! We love you KC!

It wasn't their fault that it was 40 degrees and raining in Buffalo on October 3rd (typical Western New York weather for us), and KC and the Sunshine Band put on a performance that made it feel like Florida! Doing all the favorites and a couple of new songs, KC delivered a surprisingly wonderful concert with a great set of dancers, band, funk, disco, and lots of booty shaking. Would definitely see again, but without the rain.

Omgoodness!!!! My Grandmother and I had such an AMAZING time at the concert!!! Had an awesome dinner, followed by me getting a hug from KC himself before the show, FRONT ROW SEATS, and a HELLUVA LOTTA BOOTY SHAKING!!!! I even got a guitar pick from his bass player! WOW! The show was embarrassing. Talented band, but everyone involved appeared to be just trying to get through the show. KC has not aged well and his voice isn't what it used to be. The dancers didn't appear to be particularly engaged. For the first time ever, we actually left before the performance was over.

I still enjoyed myself overall, in spite of the fact that I could barely hear KC sing. I don't know if it was the location of my seats (in front of large speakers in 4th row) or what, but there were times I would have to look at his mouth to see if was singing yet because his vocals were so overpowered by the bass or even the backup singers/dancers were easier to hear at times. I give him a B+ for effort though. I rated the venue low because the floors were sticky with a hint of vomit smell. Mystic - do better!

Of course you have to love the group you are there to see, that goes without saying, but i was amazed at the auditorium and how nice the seating and views were. Wide comfortable seating is not head around MN. Normally you are squished on top of the next two people, but not here. I would come back again for acts that I like. Staff was great as well, everyone was friendly and helpful.

High energy performance from a multi-musician band including.. 4 brass, 2 percussion, 3 female backup singers. The songs that they were famous for sounded as good as they did in the 70's. My only downside was that they played too many songs from other artists .. good songs, but not theirs from the same era.

KC was out of shape, couldn't do more than one dance move, had no voice left. His dancers were out of shape and not entertaining. Overall a total waste of money. Loved his show in the 70's, wouldn't go see him again if it was free.

What a FUNKY and FUN concert! The whole show was upbeat and high energy. I had such a great time! KC's voice is still strong as ever, and I love that he still dances, even though I know it has to be somewhat of a challenge after all these years. Heck, it's hard to sing and dance at the same time for ANYONE, but KC still puts on those Boogie Shoes and GETS DOWN! If you get the chance, go to their show! You won't be sorry :)
