Such an amazing evening. Started out in the VIP lounge with a photo op on the Iron Throne!!! How awesome was that. The food was a tad skimpy, seemed like the waitress was told to only let people have one because she never came back to ask me if I would like anymore. The Q & A with Ramin was nice and the group photos were fun. The show was amazing.

The orchestra and choir are amazing. Some of the special effects and the screens are incredible. The singer and some of the props seem completely unnecessary. It's a neat experience and the people watching is great! The composer was obviously excited and nervous since it was the first show of the tour. I hope he gets more comfortable because it would be great to have him share even more background information about the show, his thought process, etc.

Great fun event, reminding us of all the key moments of the show, with great music. The music is augmented (live orchestra and vocals, but also playing along with recorded music), but still great. Don't bother paying for the expensive seats down low. You will see the musicians better, but will actually have a worse view of the large screens showing scenes from the show. Best seats are in the center, about halfway up.

This show was amazing. From the affects to the live music. The conductor/composer is such a nice guy. Humble and truly thankful. The people in front of us had never seen the show. At the break they turned around and said they were going to be binge watching when they got home. Went by too fast!

The concert itself was great. I'd recommend it to anyone. But they decided to close the upper levels and reseat everyone in the lower level. No one knew until they got to the venue, and had to stand in line for new tickets. Many didn't make it to their seats before the show started. Poor planning/execution on that part.

Overall, we really enjoyed the Game of Thrones Live Concert Experience. We chose a section that allowed us a view of mostly all the stages. Club Level Section 221 / Row 1 at the United Center in Chicago to be exact. We were closer to the musician side and just above them were 3 cylindrical moveable screens which constantly displayed clips and scenes of the show. Unfortunately a large section of the screens kept malfunctioning and was a real distraction at certain points of the show. Portions of the screens would get a snowy or static reception and intermittently flash. It was really unfortunate for us because it was right about at eye level for our group. As there were activities and music going on across the stage, the constant flashing of the malfunctioning screens would draw our eyes away from the show. At intermission, a couple technicians came out to try and work on the problem and it did help a little bit. However the problem continued, although less frequently, during the second half of the show as well. The talent on the stage was absolutely incredible and the delivery of the show was fabulous. Unfortunately the technical difficulties kept it from being a perfect experience.

You wouldn't think that an entire show could be put together around the music of GOT, but they did so remarkably well. The set is elaborate. It's definitely worth seeing, and if it comes back to Chicago, go see it!

A super cool experience!!! The orchestra played all the recognizable music from the show and did several GoT montages to music while giant 3-story tall screens displayed scenes from the show. The first chair violinist, cellist, choir, solo singers, and other musicians frequently came out in various locations on the enormous stage and would perform right in front of us. The props and effects were also cool. Sometimes it would "snow" down on the musicians, or they would be enveloped in fire. While the St. Paul/Minneapolis metro area is a pretty important cultural Mecca in the world, we're not an L.A. or New York so I thought it was an unusual venue choice for their World Premiere. My guess is as this is the first time they have ever done a show like this, they probably want to work out the kinks that are only apparent in front of a live audience. For instance it was really cool to hear the composer Ramin Djawadi talk about what went into writing the music and how he came up with the Game of Thrones sound. However he did not speak very much and seemed unsure of what he was going to say - like he was a little uncomfortable talking to the crowd. I actually wanted to hear him talk more about the music composing process. There are opportunities for this as there were a number of "dead spots" between songs where the audience would sit in darkness listening to the loud whine of machines lifting set pieces in position - which kind of ruined the magic of the show. In future shows I imagine Ramin will become more comfortable talking to the audience and might fill in those dead spots with additional anecdotes. But given this was the first time they did the show on tour, some opening night jitters may have been involved. At the same time the excitement and newness of the first performance was apparent with the musicians and it showed in their performances. Audience members dressed in a variety of ways. Some dressed like they were going to a night at the orchestra, some dressed up sporting their Game of Thrones apparel, others dressed up as their favorite GoT character. I even spotted someone dressed as a Direwolf! Overall it was an awesome show! It was a 2.5 hour performance and well worth the money! Definitely gave a much needed GoT fix while waiting for Season 7 to air this summer!!!

As a GoT fan the video montage played in parallel with the music from the show was a great way to review favorite characters and plot lines past and present. Most of the music sounded familiar having come from the show, but I don't know that any of the pieces appear in whole in the actual show, so it was nice to listen to whole cohesive pieces as they were intended. Ramin Djawadi was the MC/Director for the show and his passion for both GoT and the music he's written was very apparent.

What an amazing concert. A beautiful, visual feast for the eyes to accompany the stunning, emotional musical themes from the Game of Thrones series on HBO. Ramin Djawadi, a musical magician. Creating the one-of-a-kind score; transporting the audience through and around the dramatic events of the story. What a self-deprecating and talented young man, seemingly charmed and delighted how his music has affected the audience. The orchestra and performers were incredible.

This was a great show. I loved the special effects, especially the flames that matched the on screen flames when the dragons belched fire. I liked all of the giant screens, so it was easy to see the action from any angle. I liked how each main character's musical theme was matched by clips showing their story arc. The music is gorgeous and hearing it live was breathtaking. My only tiny quibble: the song "Rains of Castamere" was sung in too low an octave, and the singer's voice couldn't always register in such a low range. Otherwise, wonderful show. Well worth the price.

The event was ok. The music was good, and the video that played along was enjoyable at times. My biggest gripe though, had to do with our seating. Half of the stage was completely blocked off by these huge, awkward looking, and low-resolution screens that displayed video and graphics throughout the show. If I had wanted to stare at a screen all night, I would have just stayed home and watched it on my TV. My wife and I went to the show to see the live performance, you know, the musicians playing and singing, half of which we couldn't experience. Everyone in our area felt the same way as well.

The performance was really good, it's hard knowing what to expect. You have an 80 piece orchestra and a choir, and a huge set. There are show montages shown throughout, the best part in my opinion was the beginning where they played the song from every house.

I open the question as to the psychological effects of being exposed to thousands of graphic, horrendous, disturbing acts of murder all in full HD quality with compelling music score? I am still in shock from that excessive over the top carnage for the sake of entertainment. One has to wonder how this type of exposure might serve our species and yes I get it, it's all fiction and not based in reality. Though seeing that many people being brutally executed in the extreme energy of hate and fear I found deeply disturbing. My friend had an extra ticket, so I am glad I did not pay and would not for this type of show. Yes the music is great and well produced and well executed, I just feel a part of my soul is a bit singed by the extreme intensity of the violence. I choose to not engage in this type of "entertainment." This does not serve myself and one has to question, is this to the higher good of our species? God bless you all.

For GOT fans this was a great experience. Very good visual presentation and character evolution. Still don't know how we were hit with waves of heat in the big dragon sequences! Unfortunately the substandard sound system in the Key Arena cost this two stars. There was limited dialog but it was totally unintelligible. The energy and enthusiasm of the audience did help make up and add a star.

This is a symphony of the music from Game of thrones. I have by myself been a great fan of the music of game of thrones and the show itself and this was a must see concert for me. After going to the event myself, I no longer think it can be called as a concert, it is an experience. I had to constantly remind myself that the people performing the show were actually there and it was live. It was spot on. The production was well done, the music was great and I got goosebumps a few times with the music and show footage being matched up perfectly. Our seats were just above the stage closer to the end with three rings (farther from the orchestra). I would not recommend getting the floor seats next to the stage because you will for sure miss a lot of the things that make the whole viewing experience memorable. Best seats would appear to be closest to center and about 20-30 feet above the stage.

Venue is great, except for the getting into the parking lot is a bit confusing through a 6pm traffic. Sound, seating, food, facility are all great, better than the Forum of old Lakers days. The concert itself paired with actual scenes from GOT was magnificent, like a review of the show since episode 1, makes you want Season 7 to start already. The jumbotron above the center stage can be seen from all around, but the middle section is better because it has the flat jumbotron instead of the cone/tiered shaped jumbotron. Definitely a great show and would recommend others to see even if you're not a GOT fan or have never seen the show on HBO. A good time, wish it would be on the weekends instead of a Thursday, but traffic would definitely be big if it was on the weekends.

I think I was expecting more of a live "concert" (with the orchestra playing along to various film clips-they do that a lot out here with the LA Phil) but it was a proper production! The conductor is also the composer of most of the music for the show and the orchestra plus the 20 piece choir were actual local artists-they don't travel with the show-and then there were like 6 "feature" players. The violin, bass/Chello player, two percussionists, a solo singer and a man who played all sorts of instruments you've never heard of were the stars. I guess they actually CREATE instruments to get different types of sounds for GoT. The lighting design, the effects (there was "snow" and "leaves" falling and fire), the sound. All Gorgeous.

Worth the experience, but for such a huge undertaking it lacked some breathtaking moments I expected. The orchestra and music were fantastic. The LED experience was good - but could have used more and on bright scenes lines could be visibly seen (I expected a more "crisp" visual experience). There was some extra moments, for example bursts of flames around the stage, that added to the experience but at the same time added the most to disappointment- the flames burst out for a few seconds and that was it. What could have been an added WOW factor was a "Oh that's cool! which instantly turned into a "That was it?" Overall it was worth seeing since it is only a limited engagement at only about 24 venues across the country - and the music really was breathtaking to hear live.

Overall, the experience was fantastic. The live orchestra was amazing in itself. The inclusion of the technical aspects was also amazing in itself. Combining the two amazing experiences into one show was truly astounding. Hats off to the musicians, and technical personnel that truly made this experience possible. Djawadi is a true composer. He is not s stuck-up composer that performs and leaves. He played exotic instruments personally and played the guitar while people left the event at the end of the show. I do have two comments to make though. 1) The slightly less-dense LED panels used for the top-most section of the cascading circular tower at the end opposite the orchestra was not the best choice. The LED pixel density difference was evident and would have been good tighter. 2) The best viewing angles are definitely the long-side of the arena. All areas are good, but the long-side is best. You can see the footage they roll must better along with the projection screens used for live footage switched live at the show. Overall, just amazing.

I absolutely loved the music and performance from GoT Live concert. The production did a great job highlighting all the epic moments of the series. There were some enjoyable dramatic flares with lights, fire-breathing dragons, fog, and more. But some bits could have used more work/detail as they were a little less put together, such as camera blocking. The camera displayed often wasn't of featured or significant soloist. They probably should have rehearsed with the cameramen more. There were also an unnecessary set piece that had wires sloppily hanging over it. Some of the choir were out of step, but that's just me getting extremely picky and critical. This concert is definitely a recommended experience. Try to aim for center rink/court around the 100-200 level seats. (300 level seats were above the entire stage and that led to obstructed views.)

All by itself, the music from Game of Thrones tells a story. It's a subtle narrator, quietly underscoring the various characters journeys from season 1 forward. Being able to hear it live-front & center-was a true joy for this hardcore nerd. The video clips and special effects used during the show blended perfectly with the musical storytelling. It's a testament to the skill of the players & the strength of the score the the music wasn't overwhelmed at all. I highly recommend this tour, it's almost enough to make me forget S7 isn't out till Summer & Winds of Winter has no publication date. Go GoT fans; I swear by the old gods & the new you won't regret attending.

Such a wonderful experience and a must see for Game of Thrones fans! Stage set-up was awesome. Would recommend sitting facing the front of the middle screen.

Great music and great show. The orchestra was great. Hard to believe only eight musicians travel with the show to all the cities.

I saw the GoT Live Concert Experience at the Forum in Los Angeles. I had splurged on VIP seats, so I had a front row seat near the stage. Unfortunately this meant I was craning my neck up all night to see the big screens overhead, but it also meant I was less than 20 feet away from some of the performers at times. The show is essentially a giant music video with live music & vocals, and special effects thrown in too (like white confetti falling as snow while they showed scenes from the North, and jets of fire when the dragons were rampaging on screen). Everything was well done and the effects added to the excitement of the show. The crowd I saw this with was a lot of fun. We were booing villains, cheering our heroes, and shouting "SHAME!" at certain points. It was kind of like watching Rocky Horror live, and it was great to geek out like that with thousands of other fans. Also, having Serj Tankian (lead singer of System of a Down) as a surprise guest to sing "Rains of Castamere" was one of the highlights in the show. All in all, it was an awesome concert and I really hope they do another one once the show wraps up!

The music itself was great. 5 stars. But the view was very poor. The set up they have blocks the orchestra!

I'm a huge GoT fan, so this concert was a must-see event. The staging was great. Seeing different scenes from the show performed with a live orchestra was so captivating. So pumped for the new season now!

It was a wonderful night. The show itself was amusing however, the people were kind of loud and not really paying attention to the performance. Also the sits were tiny. In overall I would recommend this show in other avenues.

Wow, didn't know what to expect, but it was so great....we are still talking about it! I drug my husband there, but he enjoyed it so much we want to go again! Pyrotechnics were great!! It was like a 4-ring circus, always something to see and hear, and the orchestra was amazing!!!!

Saw the concert in Los Angeles. Hearing the music live was amazing. The performance by the musicians and choir while watching scenes from the show made the experience that much more amazing. Djawadi is gifted and talented would definitely see any of his performances again.

If I can give this event 10 stars out of 5 I would! I'm a big GoT fan, but that doesn't take anything away from how good this event was! It was dramatic, well thought out, and completely entertaining! The musicians and singers were awesome! I won't mention the details besides this one thing, so it won't spoil it for any future attendees. One of the biggest highlights of the night was Serj Tankian from System of a Down was there! Supposedly it's only for LA, but I hope there will be special guests for all future events! I highly recommend this event

GOT is the best when viewed on a big screen and with live orchestra! The drummer and the celloist were incredible. Of course Ramin himself is incredibly talented. It's a must see!

One of the best shows ever - intimate, a treat sonically and visually. Ramin added a personal touch sharing his amazing music that I knew note for note. I hope a DVD will be made available.

I wanted this to be epic. I looked forward to this performance. As a huge GOT book, show, and soundtrack fan - I was REALLY looking forward to this. I paid $151 for 2 tickets to sit at the VERY top of TD Garden. Maybe because I was such at a high angle that the two side screens did not display the images properly? Also, due to the seats, the light fixtures inhibited the image on the main screen. The orchestra looked like ants...that's how far up I was. I don't think it was worth spending $151 for 2 tickets for the seats I was in. Someone in the Boston Choir was severely off tune. The pyrotenics didn't work properly on one side of the screen. Ramin was nothing less than phenomenal. Very personal and proud of his work. The talent on the stage was great, but the choir was definitely off. I also wished they edited "Reign" differently, but that's me being super picky... Again, it was just okay. I wanted it to be epic. I was REALLY hoping this was going to be epic. Not worth the price I paid.
