I've been a longtime Thursday fan and never had the opportunity to see them in concert. Having recently gotten back together, I was hopeful I would be able to see them at some point. The show didn't disappoint. They absolutely killed their set, and the bands prior to their set were equally as fun and talented. Touche Amore is awesome, and they got a new fan that night.

I didn't exactly come to see Thursday but they were great. I came to see my favorite band, The Fall of Troy, and always enjoy the show they put on. The drummer is such a great guy and so funny! I love going to the Social and its even better if its to see my favorite band. I can't wait for the next time they're back in Florida!

The combined talent of the bands that played is an incredible thing. That doesn't mean that the entire show was incredible though. Fall of Troy came on with their typical arrogant frontman Thomas Erak. They fumbled through an entire set of guitar solos and obnoxious gestures. Another band, a new band called the Young Widows, tortured the crowd with their incredibly annoying brand of experimental rock. Now it may seem like the show was not worth going to, but the performances of Kiss Kiss (a circus rock band from Purchase, NY), Moving Mountains (a post rock band on the brink of enormous success), and Thursday (need I say more?) was more than reward enough for waiting through the appalling performances of the Young Widows and Fall of Troy. All three bands were tight beyond belief and their stage performances were entertaining beyond belief without becoming annoying and arrogant. If you ever get a chance to see Thursday, don't pass it up, especially if they have supporting acts like Kiss Kiss and Moving Mountains.

It was out of this world. I always loved The Fall of Troy, but I had never seen them live. Midnight masses and Dear Hunter were really good too. But Fall of Troy Stole the show

The Granada is a great venue. It's gritty, loud, intimate and just a great place to hear and watch live music. It was my first time to see the bands on the list (From Quiet Arms, La Dispute, Fall of Troy & Thursday), but each band s performance was amazing! From Quite Arms is a band to check out if your in the Lawrence/KC area. They have a unique, mesmerizing sound and despite being the opening band, I thought their performance was the best of the night aside from Thursday s. La Dispute is a very cool band. They have a hardcore sound but are precise and clean. The lead singer has a distinctive, screamo voice; either you ll love it or you won t. Fall of Troy is a true power trio, who have a fantastic lead guitarist. Despite three members, they have a fanatical full sound. Finally, no surprise, Thursday melts your face off. With the small venue of the Granada, matched with the vast sound of Thursday, it made for just an insane show.

Thursday brought out great opening bands on this tour to get the crowd going. As a fan of Thursday for over 16 years they still bring the same excitement and passion for music. They are a must see event in my opinion.

I've been to about 50+ shows in my lifetime, small and large venues, and this was easily my all time favorite show. Thursday brought the house down, and played their hearts out for their last tour. I had never seen them before, and am seriously kicking myself in the butt for that. They played EXCELLENTLY live. The crowd was solid, as well as the pit. Highly recommend going to see Geoff play with United Nations, they were all true performers that were there for the fans. Came out for 2 encores, with their last encore playing 3 songs including one off of Waiting.

An incredible night. I drove down from Maine to see Thursday's final two shows in the US, 12/29/2011 at Royale in Boston and 12/30/2011 at TLA in Philadelphia, and it was well worth the trip (as I knew it would be). This was my 8th time seeing Thursday live and they were just as great as they were the first time I saw them about 8 years ago. Their set was quite long (around 2 hours) although it didn't feel that way -- for me, I don't think it would have felt long enough even if they played for 6+ hours. In terms of venue I preferred Royale in Boston over TLA in Philadelphia although they're both rather similar in capacity, size and design. The staff in Boston were certainly much friendlier and it didn't get to be quite so boiling hot in the crowd towards the end of the night, although that might have more to do with the crowd rather than the venue. The only thing I wish had been different was the barrier between the crowd and the stage; I'd seen videos of shows at Royale where there's no barrier and the crowd is right there against the stage in front of the band so I was expecting the same for this show. Apparently they put up a barrier some time after those videos were filmed so the show wasn't quite as intimate as I was anticipating, but it was still an extremely memorable and emotion-packed night thanks to the energy and passion of both the band and the audience.

Bittersweet. An incredible show yet so sad that this is the last time i will get to see them. One of the most amazing moments of any show i have ever seen is them performing "Stay True". It's tough to get a crowd moving, even tougher to get them to stand still in awe! That song did it. Thanks Thursday!

My 7th time seeing Geoff and boys play, never a disappointment. I'm so sad to hear that the band is parting ways. I am glad however I got to see one last show, Boston style! Can't wait to pick up the new cd. They rocked the house Thursday nite. I'm already anticipating the reunion tour!!! There better be one!!!

I was there specifically for mewithoutYou, so my apologies to the other great bands for not including you. The show was incredible. My wife had bruises on her hands from rocking so hard. The new album, despite sounding so different from the previous, was still great, although I've heard some mixed reviews. An appropriate mix of old and new was therefore much appreciated. You guys are doing it right, please don't give up the struggle. Your first song, Messes of Men is my flagship, and you nailed it. Great job!

I was speechless after this show. I was not a fan of Me Without You, but the Screaming Females and Thursday both killed it. Thursday played over an hour and a half set and played Stay True for the first time live. This show was nuts, too mad it was their last in New Jersey.

I love Thursday but I hate starland ballroom. Last time I was here for glassjaw I vowed never again but since it was their last show (and an excellent one at that) I went. Please, understand that Thursday is an amazing band and as much as I'd love to use this time to bring that further, I feel my need to address the awfulness that is starland is more important. First of all, what a horrible set of people. Trash trash trash. Was I in NJ or what? These jerks had no manners and were way too young to be fans in the bands hayday. Just a bunch of kids trying to see and be seen if you ask me. They pack way more people in there than is probably advised by the health dept. I spent the night sniffing other people's sweat, vomit, and farts. Nasty! I mean it this time! No more starland visits! I cant take these central/southern NJ poor excuses for people. And its not just me, 'cause I saw glassjaw at best buy theater in NY... Totally different crowd (older), not as packed, and everyone seemed to have remembered to bathe and be polite. Oh, and screw New Brunswick. Dumont is better.

The amount of Papa Roach played was far below the amount nessicary for an enjoyable evening on the town. The substituion of Stained would have been acceptable, but instead there was only a small amount of Seether and Korn playing. RUINED MY NIGHT!!

If you haven't seen Thursday live do it. They are amazing every time. This is my 4th show with them and they always give it their all - small venue or large. Overall this show was good. I mainly went to see Greek Fire (who put on a GREAT SHOW as always) The first band (Fer de Lance was surprisingly pretty good and I plan to see them again. Second band good music but bad vocals couldn't understand a word through all the screaming... Third band Greek Fire performance has now landed them at the top of my favorite bands.. (they just need a damn CD out) After GF preformed the audience continued to trickle out and by the time Thursday came on the venue seemed empty, even though I didn't know many of their songs I stayed bc I had a seat which was great, and in the best location. There performance was good, they could use a bigger stage with all the members they have. This being my first time at Pop's I would defiantly recommending seeing another show there and arrive at doors open to get that perfect seat or to stand up front.. Check out the tribute to Joplin, MO on Aug 11 with Greek Fire and Evans Blue at Pop's

So I have seen Thursday 5 times now. This was the 3rd different state I have seen them in, and this by far the best concert yet. While much of that may be due to the fact that they played Full Collapse front to back...the show flat out rocked!!! I really liked the other bands that played (We Are Skeletons, Acid Tiger, and Four Year Strong).

The bands playing at Starland Ballroom were pretty great. However, the audience was mediocre at best. We Were Skeletons, a skramz (old school screamo) band, had won the chance to play from winning the Red Bull Noise Complaint contest. We Were Skeletonz had put on an energetic and all-around great show, but the crowd was completely dead. While the guitarist and bassist were putting on an emotional show, people were talking to their friends or texting on their cell-phones. The next band, Acid Tiger, also received dead feedback from the audience. I remember hearing the singer awkwardly saying, "So...How was everyone's holidays?" in the mic, to try to get a response from the audience. Once Four Year Strong played, the crowd went insane. The showgowers were crowdsufing, moshing, etc. to a band that didn't even put much effort to please. Thursday put on a great show as well, which was no surprise. I enjoyed listening to the bands, but the atmosphere of the show was horrible.

I was there for Thursday only, but Four Year Strong put it down and rocked the place. Then Thursday came on and played through their epic first album Full Collapse. 10 years later this record still kicks and 10 years later they still play it as well as ever. Ending their set with two songs about the new year was the fitting end to an awesome night.

Only the troc! For a long time, the troc has been bringing great bands to Philadelphia, but they always manage to have some amazing opening acts as well. Lude Acts was the opening band, and one of the most energetic bands I have seen in a long time. The singer jumped off stage and ran around getting people off the steps and into the crowd. And then Converge(the third band to take stage that night) almost upstaged Thursday through a great performance as well.

I've been going to Thursday concerts for about 10 years, and I still get blown away by them. The energy they bring every night is second to none. Paris in Flames into Understanding in a car crash immediately after. Sick transition. Jet Blak New Year packed it tight as always as the closer. Autobiography of a Nation typical encore but works everytime with audience involvement and Geoff singing from the middle of the crowd.

The Dillinger Escape Plans set was memorable not only because it was insanely great, but because IT WAS CUT SHORT. Just as they were opening up their last song the lights turned off, the projection screen dropped and all amps except the monitors on stage turned off. BUT THEY KEPT PLAYING AND SINGING WITH OUT SOUND, and the crowd continued to sing and mosh. They def made the best of it, it was intense. Then Glassjaw came out and destroyed it, it was sick.

Well it started with Endless Hallway pretty descent band from CA they did a good cover song from Nirvana. Then Fake Problems came on I felt they didn't really belong in this shows line up. I personal didn't like there type of music. Then finally The Dillinger Escape Plan came on the crowd went crazy right away for the first time in the night. It started with a warning of no crowd surfing and stage diving which I found that to be pretty funny but mosh pits are allowed. Half way through the set they played Mouth of Ghost which I was surprised to hear, but they play a good mix of old and new songs. Then Thursday came on and the crowed continued to move I left before they finished cause I had to get on the train and a snow storm was coming. There was plenty of security and the bar did a good job of checking ages. All in All it was a fun night out.

Very good show. Easily the best ive seen. The first 2 bands werent very good, but not completely terrible in my opinion. Fake Problems played a good show, and they seemed to enjoy themselves. When Dillinger came on, it got hectic. They played a really good, long set, and it was insanely intense. Thursday, tho, was to die for. Very good set, played some new stuff, and some old. Definitely worth the money.

if you like thursday or dillinger escape plan this show was awesome. Greg, the vocalist from dillinger, was his crazy self and their guitarist jumped into the mosh pit at one point and then jumped onto a bar counter and kept on playing the song. Thursday was also awesome i got a chance to jump on stage then jump back in the crowd. the only disappointment was there was somewhat a low turnout in the people that showed up, but the show was still awesome

My friend and I were so lucky to get to this show. I grew up listening to Thursday and if you're a fan you know how they can make you feel. They get people through a lot in life. But this show was so amazing, seeing full collapse played front to back was something I've always wanted to see and they did not disapoint. Felt like a dream. Seeing Far was truly a dream come true. 12 years ago I had an opportunity to see them, and missed out for a very stupid reason. They broke up less than a month later. Their set was great, every not both musical and emotional was dead on. Thursday was just as great, playing Full Collapse from start to finish and then a mixture of songs from their other albums. A clear reminder of why I have loved this band for so long.

So The Dear Hunter and The Fall of Troy were fantastic, as expected. Most people it seemed were there just to see them, since the crowd was cut in half once Thursday got started. i looked up midnight masses on myspace before the show and didn't really care for their stuff so i didn't care if i made it to the show on time or not. However, when midnight masses came on, they blew my freaking mind. they put on an amazing show live; i even bought a record. The dear hunter was pretty awesome, too. They jammed hard, which is always fun to watch. The Fall of troy ruled!!! i didn't realize they were a 3 man band until the show and i couldn't believe how awesome they played. the singer was so enthusiastic and he sounds JUST like he does on the CD, which is a hugggee plus! Thursday rocked, too. i wish they would've played a little more of war all the time because thats my personal favorite album, but thats okay because it was still an overall worth-the-3-hour-drive-show.

Thursday never fails at live shows; it's actually something they are known for - really amazing lives. And again they did not fail. The entire band were full of energy, even through all the sweat and blazing fast hand moves from Steve, Tim, Tom and Tucker..and Geoff of course, as always, gave it his all as well. They have always put their hearts and souls into their songs, and when you can really tell is at their lives. No matter how many times they have played a song, they still seem to do it with all their energy and hearts there. It's amazing, and they will be a band that will go down in history.

It was the best concert ive ever been to in my life. I only came for The Fall of Troy but ended up liking all the bands. A local band Midnight Masses played at the very start and were great too. When The Fall of Troy came on though the whole club erupted and sang along to every song and just went crazy! (me too) and Thomas Erak ended it by jumping into the crowd and crowdsurfing around on his last song. Then when me and my friends all went outside we met all the bands and got stuff signed... Every band was a bunch of really cool nice guys. For some reason my voice cut off when I tried to talk to the Thursday Lead Singer but he was awesome anyway and even tried to give me a high five and stuff but I ran off in embarrassment from not being able to speak :P. Anyway... Greatest concert me and my friends have ever been to!

Thursday, not so much. Probably their most noteworthy song and one of my favorites, "Counting 5-4-3-2-1" was omitted from the set list. I couldn't believe it. That song was almost 100% of the reason I went, and I was under the impression that they would play it, since it WAS their single. They played a whole album's worth of music, but the vocals were set too quiet, so most of the show was just noise. I doubt I'd see Thursday again.
