A bottle of water in the rodeo area was $3. Inside the stadium was $8. Nobody can take any food inside. I didnt bother to ask about the food inside. I do not carry around a lot of cash for safety reasons, and few places take credit cards here, so I spent what little I had on water. Arrived on time according to the tickets. Three hours later, there was still no show. We were just watching the cowboy/western competition. If the schedule was printed somewhere, I would have skipped all that and arrived when the band perry started. Unfortunately, due to lack of food/water/cash, I left without seeing the band perry.

Being from India, Rodeo Houston was a new experience that my family and friends enjoyed thoroughly! The Reliant Stadium was an amazing setting and being among the 70,000 people was an exhilarating experience. Ticketmaster booking was simple and convenient.

Transplanted yankee at his first rodeo. The event choreography was terrific. Alan Jackson was on his game. The rodeo events were high quality and the venue was large yet comfortable. Very family friendly. Only criticism was alcoholic beverage service. Why do you need to stand in line to buy a drink ticket then stand in line for a beer?

I wish the tickets would come with a map of the event, because we were lost the first 30 min. When you get there you can smell all the smell of BBQ!!! But the cook off meal was a sloppy Joe, chips, and baked beans....I wish the plate was actual BBQ. The ppl are very nice and they are always willing to direct you. The carnival doesn t open until 12pm, so I guess the first thing ppl do is go to the horse show (make sure you hold your nose!!), then eat a free plate, then go to the carnival. The band is great and there is plenty room to dance, sit, or lean. The Jack Daniels booth gives away bandanas, which are really cool. I think more give-a-ways would be nice. Maybe some contest for ppl to win a chance to taste the award winning BBQ! Also, a karaoke place would be very cool! Over all it is fun, but expect to do a lot of walking and take lots of cash because food and carnival tickets are expensive.

I paid for my ticket and parking. Walked around and couldn't get into any of the tents except for one and it was horrible food. Ended up spending a small fortune at the fast food ventors. I thought this was going to be a BBQ?! I will NEVER go again and NEVER recommend it.

I think it is very unfair that other people can't buy a BBq plate or go in the tents if our not invited. Then why sail tickets to the public. They should at least have to where if people want to buy plates they can....

This was hands down in my top 5 greatest performances. The Band Perry was outstanding. We had a meet and greet also and they are by far some of the nicest and beautiful people I have met yet. I know it is their job to act that way, but it seemed so genuine and not forced. I would recommend any and everyone to see them live!!!

What a wonderful show! The energy the whole band exuded was contagious--they never let up. I sincerely hoped they would have made Rodeo Houston the venue they debuted performing the few tracks left on Pioneer that have not been performed live, but they were fabulous! It was great learning their electric guitar player is from Kingwood, TX. It was a great show!

I have seen George Strait, Toby Keith, Tim McGraw and several other big country Stars at the Houston LiveStock Show and Rodeo, and Blake Shelton is right up there with them at the top as one of the best. Great songs, great seats, and my family and friends had a memorable evening. We would definitely go see him again.

Blake put on a great show and to top it off Miranda showed up. I do wish he would of interacted more like Luke Bryan. The only thing that would of made this better if George strait would of walked out and sang a song with him. Love my George, Luke and Blake.

Robin Thicke made my rodeo experience. I took some friends and it was their first Rodeo they absolutely love it. We had fun from the carnival and food to the livestock show and Robin Thicke. I can't wait for next year.

This was my first time attending a Rodeo/concert... What a surprise... I really enjoyed it The bareback riding was such a thrill and the children holding on the sheep for dear life was adorable and as cute as it gets but above all Robin Thicke gave an excellent performance. My friends and I were truly entertained we even stood up to dance. I definitely would suggest more people to go. This was my first Rodeo but NOT my last!!!! Yeeeeyyyy hhaawww :)

It was a great show! He played 10 songs, 2 of which were Michael Jackson & Al Green cover songs. Takes a lot of guts to cover those two amazing singers! He was very gracious and appreciateive of the Houston crowd. He ended with Blurred Lines and (in continued Rodeo Houston tradition) got off the stage and walked around the arena in singing, giving hugs, shaking hands, & taking selfies with fans. IT WAS UNBELIEVABLE! I would go see him again.

Keith was amazing as always!!! I loved hearing him live for the first time, his voice is just perfect<333 also perfect song set & everything(,: the intro/outro fireworks were so cool too! only wish is that the Houston rodeo add on an extra hour, other than that, really enjoyed it. We had seen another group earlier and expected Keith to be awesome. We were disappointed. He sang 2 songs we'd ever heard before, didn't address the audience but one time played barely the required hour and was out of there. This was the first time seeing him. We won't do it again.

This was my third time seeing REO. They sounded the best I have heard them. I talked to a lady after who had been seeing them since 1975 and she said it was probably one of the best performances she has ever seen by them. Reliant Stadium isn't the best place to see a concert, but these guys didn't let that get in the way. Kevin's voice hit all the notes and all the other guys played amazing solos in the various songs. Played music from all parts of their career. Everyone in the crowd had smiles on their faces. Although you can't tell by their voice or their stamina, these guys aren't as young as they used to be and won't be around forever. Do yourself a favor and GO SEE THEM!!! I'm buying my tickets Saturday for when they come back in August.

I took my 2 daughter's age 14 and 8 and also their 8 year old cousin. They enjoyed all the rodeo activities especially when the small kids were riding the sheep's. My oldest loved watching the FFA kids run after the calfs. But the fireworks before and after the concert were great and we really like that. Selena looked great and the sound was wonderful, my oldest daughter sat next to me and song almost all of her songs, her favorite was Who Says.

Chris Young's performance at Rodeo Houston 2014 was great. He had a great set list, though I wish he would've performed "The Man I Want to Be." There were 68k fans present, and he said that this was the largest crowd he'd ever played to. My only request would be for the rodeo concerts to be a little longer. I always enjoy the rodeo events prior to the concert. Overall, I always have been and will always be a CY fan.

The Randy Rogers Band and Martina McBride were both a great beginning to the wonderful country legend George Strait. I went with my Mother, Sister-in-law and Niece, and overall we all enjoyed the concert. However, getting into the stadium was a time consuming, confusing pain for alot of people. The specific gate entry that most people were not aware of until after we all stood in line at the WRONG gate for about 45 minutes, only to be re-directed to another gate for floor seating entry, was very discouraging and aggravating. Also, I know with the size of the Reliant Stadium, it has to be hard to get the sound right, but we were on the floor, and I think it could have been better.

Luke Bryan put on an excellent show, but the stage is too small for such a large venue. The camera person should have been more experienced. All he showed was Luke face majority of the time. Even sitting down on the lower level was too far from the stage. Persons attending should really bring a set of binoculars to be able to see the shows.

The King of Country put on a GREAT show on Sunday in Houston! He was quite talkative and looked simply overjoyed to be there, doing what he does best. He seemed genuinely humbled to be there with 80K of his best fans! He smiled and enjoyed himself the entire TWO hours! OMG- I've seen George in Oklahoma City, St Paul, Lexington KY and now Houston. Now I'll admit my front row experience in Kentucky was amazingly wonderful but must say even though my seats were section 547 in Houston to see 80000 George Strait fans in one place and the emotions on the faces of George and the Ace in the Hole band were simply unforgettable! There is no doubt George had a blast and was at home in Texas!

Pitbull had everyone dancing in the isles or for those more bashful rocking in their seats. His music is so energetic you can't help but to make a few moves yourself. He played non-stop, just one song after the other and by the time the concert was over he was completely drenched in sweat! He kept thanking the audience for "giving him the opportunity" to play at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, very humble. He sang at least one song in Spanish but it was hard to understand the words completely with all the cheering go on. We didn't have the best seats in town because we waited too late to purchase the tickets but he put on such a great concert it didn't matter. Hope he comes back next year!

Great night of rodeo action...I've seen the majority of performances over the last several years, but I've never seen anyone with the same enthusiasm, appreciation for the crowd and humbleness! I was amazed at his level of crowd interaction and his willingness to get down in the dirt! I sincerely hope Rodeo Houston brings him back next year...as my daughter and her friends have already started saving money for tickets! I loved that he donated autographed guitar (which amazingly we won!)

Kenny Chesney was SUPERB despite the sound system problems. While you could hear the music, Kenny's vocal was unclear for whatever reason. Something just wasn't right with the sound system. Despite the sound problems though, the energy was there and unmistakable. I loved it!

Awesome show and rodeo!! It my first rodeo at Relient Stadium after many many years at the Astrodome. I honestly think the sound system was as good if not better in the Dome. Maybe it's just the size of the stadium, however, the Dome held more people. Great show! Had a blast.. Only thought the sounds system could be better.

Invasores de Nuevo Leon are by far one of the best and most well known bands from that genre of spanish music. Everything was great but the audio was not. I dont know if it was the rodeo or what but I think that someone should've been in charge of monitoring the audio for the sake of the 75k people that attended the event. Overall great concert.

My kids and I enjoyed seeing the band and experiencing the concert but was disappointed in the singing. More the casual approach taken by the group. After attending the Zac Brown Band and Lady Antebellum concerts at the rodeo, The Band Perry seemed more like a local bar performance than a record label performance. I will say that the group did communicate with the crowd and encouraged participation with singing. While it sounds like a negative review, it was enjoyable and worth the money paid since combined with the Houston Rodeo.

The show was exciting with great music! We could see the performers real good but had a hard time taking pictures due to the guardrail in front. Had to adjust to view thru the bars.

Bruno Mars gave Houston a great great great performance. I was sitting in section 637 and I could feel his passion through his voice, he made me feel he was singing directly to me. He is soooo talented and it shows. His songs makes everyone in the audience to start singing along, dancing or even screaming on the top of their lungs. Unbelievable Bruno is a natural!!! I was actually sad to watch him leave he 110% the whole time he was out he and his band entertained me. Loved this concert and I believe it's one of the best rodeo performances ever!!!!

Bruno Mars is a fantastic entertainer. The only concern I had was the venue. It being at the rodeo. The stage was in the middle of the arena. And noone had seats within 300yards of the stage. Kind of odd seeing Bruno perform on an island..

Great show, my daughter had lots of fun and just overall amazing. Demi was great live and the fireworks were also amazing. Of course we wish to have been closer to the stage but everything could be seen from these seats, not bad for the price.

Brantley Gilbert is one of my all time favorite shows. I have seen him 3 times and can't wait to see him again. We also got the meet and greet and it was unforgettable. He was so sweet and actually spoke to us and asked us questions. Can't wait to see him again!!

I enjoyed Brantley Gilbert's style of music although I did NOT enjoy the curse words in his songs. Especially......with my children in attendance. I like a "clean" concert at the rodeo.

It was a cold evening, because I got there a little later than I thought, but I overall enjoyed the animals, and the concert at the end of the day with Mary J. Blige. I've been to the Houston Rodeo at least once a year for the last 4 years, and each time, I have entertained each and every time. The Rodeo never fails to satisfy me with the events, the professional attitude of the workers, and the overall fun of the events. A+ for everything!!

The concert was ok due to the fact that it was short with alot of technical issues. Also she didn't sing none of her latest releases which I thought was strange. Other than that we had a good time.

We paid the extra money for the action seats at the rodeo, and it was worth every penny! The Zac Brown Band put on an outstanding performance, kept the crowd engaged, and lived up to the rumors of an amazing show. I would pay to see them every time they visited my area. We are true fans!
