Norman Connors

Valerie is my all time favorite artist. She put on an awesome show, in spite of the low attendance. She gave it her all. She sang songs she wrote for other artists as well as for Ashford and Simpson. She is one classey lady!!! Did not like the fact that the venue was rushing her off the stage at 10:30pm. She was closing out her song, but the venue stage help was signaling with a "throad cut" sign for her band to stop playing. Thought that was so unprofessional of Mable House Barnes staff.

THIS SHOW WAS TRULY AMAZING, THE PROMOTERS/PRODUCERS SHOULD MAKE THIS AN ANNUAL CONCERT IN THE ATLANTA AREA. LOVED THE VENUE !

The entire show was excellent! First time at the amphitheater, and not disappointed. The crowd was very respectful of all performers and the other guests. Enjoyed the show thoroughly. Valerie Simpson still has it going on!!

Excellent! I've got a new respect for Val Simpson. She was outstanding. Mike and Norman were great as always. I'll go again and again.

We truly enjoyed ourselves the venue was fantastic, for it was our first time there. Micheal Henderson was fantastic, he did nearly all of his old stuff, and that was the main reason why we showed up, again he was great. Sorry that Roy Ayers did not make it, we hope he is feeling better.

First let me say that I have fallen in love with the Birchmere... The show was wonderful as was the audience. My gilrs surprised me for my birthday with tickets to see Maysa and I am so pleased it's at the Birchmere... A wonderful venue for concerts...If you ever get the chance to see Norman Connors and Howard Hewett you are really in for a treat... WONDERFUL!! TinaL

THIS WAS MY FIRST TIME AT THE BIRCHMERE AND IT WON'T BE MY LAST I HAD A WONDERFUL TIME WISH HOWARD HEWITT COULD HAVE SUNG A LITTLE LONGER :-)

Have never attended a performance where the artist was present and DID NOT sing his only signature song. Can't believe how many times the acts stated they had not rehearsed and was making it up as they go. If this event had been at the Kennedy Center, etc---this type of behavior would not have been allowed. I'm blaming the Birchmere for allowing such a lousy performance just to make money. Shame on You! Will not return and will tell everyone I know!

The band and other singers were great that accompanied the two main attractions!

The show was very nice, I really enjoyed it! This is my wife's second time coming to the Birchmere. Previously, we saw Kim Waters. It was so nice I had to bring her back twice. This time I encouraged two other couples to come along with us. Oh, how I wish I was afforded tickets for two couples to see BOBBY WOMACK. Nonetheless, Howard was everything that made my wife evening. See you soon Birchmere.

Starship and Howard were great. I especially liked the female vocalist that performed with Starship. Of course, Howard hasn't missed a beat and his voice is just as strong as ever. For those who thought about coming, but didn't, you missed a good one!!

This show was off the chain. I had never been to the Birchmere before and I loved the interaction between the artists and the crowd. Superb!
