I really enjoyed all the live music. The show was a nice opportunity for some up and coming to put their music out there for us to enjoy. It was a thrill to see Mitch Ryder and Mark Farner captivate the crowd. Martha Reeves was a drag, I did not enjoy her performance. Alto was the "sax monster" he literally blew the roof off the place!

Too much talking. Not enough saxophone playing. More of a local get together and not a high end show. Disappointed we paid so much to see this.

We were so looking forward to seeing and listening to Alto Reed play the sax. We had excellent seats for the show. The band was spot on with a stimulating opening playlist. The band was incredibly synchronized and versatile. However, as talented as Alto Reed may be it was hard to say with only 15 minutes of playing time, just wasn't enough. I really wanted to listen to music not indulgent stories.

Every moment was just great. Transitioning was very professional. Increadible sound system. Out of the seat dancing action for all. Alto Reed's sax solo "Turn the Page" was a huge moment for everyone. WOW! I hope to see this again as a successful fundraiser for Goodwill Industries. Detroit talent shines and JOBS WIN!

The atmosphere at this concert was more like a party! A talented group of friends getting together for an over the top jam session! The best part was, as an audience member, I felt included in all the festivities. Alto has such a diverse group of friends, yet all the music styles fit together perfectly and contributed to the all over "feel good" mood. The fact that it was a charitable event made the entire evening amazing!

Alto Reed was alright....Mitch Rider was not very good at all. It seemed that everyone was there only to see Mark Farner and he did not let them down. He was great...could have listened to him all night. There was supposed to be a meet & sign autographs before the show by all of the artists, but that didn't happen. Didn't even see one Detroit Lions player either...and they were supposed to have some players there too. If this was the first event for the Goodwill Industries, it was alright but they need more organization to make it a successful fundraiser.

Great show -Alto was awesome, Mark Farner rocked along with Mitch Ryder. Martha Reeves was great. All in All a very entertaining night. Started at 7:00 pm. and ended at 1:00 am. A lot of Detroit musicians showed up including Alto,s daughter, Bob Segers and Kid Rocks keyboard players, The Howlin Diablos and more. This is the 1st anmnual event, so look out next year, should be even better. My only complaint would be how unorganized it was, but what would you expect for a Motor City Jam. If you have ever seen Ringo Starr and His Allstar Band, it is very similar.

I thought this was a great event with great talent and showmanship! Maybe a little too long but I will be back next year and recommend it to everyone.
