The game was exciting. Players even interacted with fans in times other than play time. The arena is clean and nice but extremely overpriced. They even ran out of the souvenir cups that were suppose to be a part of the combos but still charged the $5.50 for it. Tried to use the ATM for cash...charges $6. Wow.

The only hockey in Atlanta is the Gwinnett Gladiators and they play in a very modern and clean arena near John's Creek off of I85. The quality of the hockey is very good (they are only 2 steps from the NHL) and the fan base is loyal and enthusiastic. Tickets are very reasonable even for great seats so I would recommend this venue to anyone who loves hockey and misses it here in Atlanta.

I absolutely love games that end in a shoot-out, leaving us in suspense of who will win in the end! I am a fan of both teams, so that made it even better. This game had it all - great defense, exciting goals, players slammed into the glass, a few good fights... And we got to see it all from the second row behind the goal. Nothing like sitting close to the action to keep the excitement going! With the Gwinnett Gladiators, great seats are affordable, and you are always promised a great time.

They lost but we still had a great time, 3rd period proved exciting as they tried a comeback. We always enjoy a game with a good fight, got a couple in this one. We see the Gladiators more than any other sports team in ATL. The games are fun, move at a good pace and it is close to home for us. We'll be back and will continue to tell others what a great time we have every time we go.

The tickets purchased thru TicketMaster were for our sons 16th birthday. This was his and his siblings as well as his mothers first hockey game. It was great. Lots of action, played Chuck-a-Puck. Unfortunately the Gladiators lost the game but we still had fun. This is a cheap and fun family event. There were two fights on the ice but hey, thats hockey!!

It had its edge on the seat moments! My boyfriend and I can't wait till the next game we go to. We had an amazing time. The score was 3 to 2. The First and second period it looked like Gladiators were going to lose but In the last minute of the third period Gladiators and Stingrays were tied 2 to 2. We went into over time and then had the shoot off. Gladiators made all their goals except one. Stingrays didnt make any. It was a Great experience. I will be back soon :)

I got hooked on hockey last season when I came with my sons to our first game. We came to 5 more games & 2 play-off games. I was able to come to opening weekend and watch both. If you want an exciting place to be and a game that is wide open to watch this is where you got to go.

I took my 12 yr. old son, it was his first hockey game. He loved it!! The first scuffle on the ice in the first 3 minutes really got his attention. I recommend this for families, because its a very fun and affordable venture, which is hard to come by these days. Good entertainment! Easy in and out of the venue.

Loved everything! I really loved the bag pipes player, too! The cancer surviver's walk was inspiring! The Teddy Bear toss is truly amazing! Even the God Bless America chorus was nice. If only the Gladiators had won! Negatives: $3.50 for a non-refill on cokes & $5 for a refill coke?!!!! NOT! and $7 for a beer?! ($7.25 for 2 beers at Philips Arena.) So over priced!

What an absolute great way to spend a day ! Going to the Gladiator games are SO EASY !! I became a hockey fan last year. Me and my sons have been to many games. All of them have been great, win or loose. There is no comparison to the live game vs. watching them on tv. If I lived closer to Gwinnett, I would have season tickets. The Arena always have many activities going on before the game. They are very family oriented. Go anytime you can!!!

We don't get many opportunities to get to see the Gladiators, but this time, as always, was a grand time! The team plays a great game. The Arena is easy to get to, good parking and the staff are friendly and VERY helpful. In the 3rd period, I went to the consession stand for popcorn. They were out and I decide to simply forego it, as it was the last period. When one of the staff who had overheard the interchange at the consession stand came down to my seat to tell me the popcorn had arrived, my wife and I were stunned and delighted over the personal attention. I wish I had gotten his name.

Like almost everywhere, the Gwinnett Gladiator's fans range from super nice to rude redneck. We met both at this event and unfortunately, the dangerous & uneasy feelings the rude fans created will most likely keep us from returning for a long time. Great fun for a great price. Best view of the game is about 8 or more rows back from the glass. Dont get me wrong, its cool to sit on the glass and bang away, but the glass distorts your view as the puck moves one way or the other. This particular game was AMAZING! If youre thinking about it......stop and just do it!

Going to the Gladiators game is such fun and easy time. Buy my tix on TM and print them, free parking just yards away from the entrance, and very fun entertainment for the family. We arrived early to tailgate in the parking lot with a few other families. Kids played street hockey in the empty parking lot. Great game! The Glads finish on a win. Hopefully they can take that momentum into the playoffs.

One of the best nights I ever had at a Glads game. They filled the house and it was rocking. My Son enjoyed that it was Star Wars night with all the Storm troopers prancing around the lobby. To top it off, there was an AC/DC cover band jammin out some oldies but goldies.

I attended my first hockey game at the Gwinnett Arena. I was greeted enthusiastically by the ticket taker when he saw that I printed out my own tickets. The Arena was neat and clean. The event was very fan friendly and the game was fun to watch. The seating was excellent in the Arena - not a bad view in the house! The parking was plentiful, close to the Arena and easy access to exits for the trip home.

The Gladiators are a quality hockey team. The venue is terrific. Maximus the Mascot was engaging and fun - keeping the crowd involved. Lots of wonderful rock music and the Medieval Times cross promotion was colorful and fun! I highly recommend this family friendly venue / event!! I had pneumonia and was unable to go. I gave the tickets to my brother and he took my 8 year old nephew. It was the first hockey game for both of them. They both thought it was awesome and are looking forward to going back with my sister-in-law. The next morning at church that's all my mom said my nephew could talk about.

Took my son-in-law and 7 year old grandson to another Gladiators game and had an awesome time. Grandson was engaged with the game for the full 3 periods. Lots of other kids around that were cheering and yelling that made the event even more special for my grandson. Excellent facility. Easy to get into and out of lot and is close to I-85 ramp. This is the 5th or 6th game we've attended in the last 2-3 years and we have always had a great time and evening. Gladiators are a great team and the enthusiasm of the young players is fun to watch. Great time and event!

We like the option of printing our own tickets. Our seats were great, we could clearly see the entire rink and every play. The game was another matter. The Gladiators were not playing very well, they were not winners that night. We took two guests who had never seen hockey in person.

The event was terrific and the prices are great, except concessions which are expensive. I took my 13 year old daughter, her friend, and my 7 year old grandson and they all loved it. The Gladiators really make the event fun for all, including kids. I'll definitely go back, but eat first.

This was my second Gladiators game and I enjoyed it with colleagues who loved the game and the facility. And the question they said is "why aren't more people here?" I would love for more people in the Metro area to experience a Gladiators games even if you don't know much about hockey. It is a great outing for families, girls night outs and corporate gatherings. The Ontario Reign took the Gladiators to school on this game. However, there was constant action as players on both teams were very aggressive. At one time there were 4 players from each team in the penalty box. The venue was well run and staff polite. Even though the Gladiators lost it was a good evening out.

I wonder if the teams have ever seen a real hockey game. I've seen better Broom hockey! It took 4 overtime periods before SC could finally settle the game. We had planned on attending another game but decided against that after seeing this game. There was no teamwork and plays were very sloppy.

It was a good game and a good team to watch. Winning goal came in the last few minutes of third period. Entertainment was ok, but is fun to go with somebody and watch the game.

1st time to Gladiators game at Gwinnett Arene with my 11 year old daughter, great seats, great atmosphere, lots of fun, and some really great hockey! Looking forward to another game! Only downside was sitting in front of 3 idiots who thought is was funny to yell stupidity all night and use language not fit for 11 year old ears, they thought that they were funny but were really just ruining the event for those around them.

Minor league hockey at it's finest. These are young guys and quite a few of them have the potential to end up in the NHL. The Gwinnett Center is small enough where you can get close and feel like part of the action.

Come one, come all to the Gwinnett Arena to see an exciting brand of hockey! The Gladiators is currently one of the top drawing teams of the ECHL and after attending a couple games its easy to see why. I paid $15 for seats right on the glass (This would have costed me around $150 if it were a Thrashers game) and had a great time!

Great seats, great crowd, incredible venue. Minor league hockey is a great family sport. The kids love the action, the Team Mascot, Maximus, and all the noise and excitement. My 6 year old grandson stayed attentive for the entire game - something I cannot say about other activities.

Me and my daughters had a great time watching the Gladiators handily defeat the Elmira Jackals. Being from upstate N.Y. hockey is a livelihood that you grow up with. I hope to pass the love of the sport to my daughters and would recommend it to everyone!

I am not a die hard fan of any sport or sports team. Still Ice Hockey is my favorite sport to watch live! This is the first time we saw the Gladiators and we will definately be back! It was fast paced and fun to watch!!!

We sat one row from the ice, everytime they slammed into the glass we could feel it. The gladiators won and made great moves and points :) overall a great game. Not to mention #41 is a hotty and i got a great view of him through the whole game!

We enjoyed it very much - One of us is from Minnesota and he knew alot about hockey, it was a great way to spend a second date with him - then his date had never been to a hockey game so it was fun and exciting for her. My boyfriend and I had been to Thrashers games before but this was really cool and our seats were great!

Tickets were easy to purchase and we got great seats. Food is cheap compared to other sporting events and alcohol is priced about on average with other venues. I really appreciate free parking, which is hard to come by these days. We forgot this wasn't an NHL team for most of the game.
