Mikel Erentxun

Fantastic performance by the ídolo y maestro, Mikel Erentxun.

The club was not nearly filled to capacity so I think the event was poorly advertised. But that's fine I got to go to the front of the stage. Only complaint is that the opening band and Mikel took way to long to come and perform. Mikel did not take the stage until 10:45pm. Mikel was amazing. Loved listening to all his classic jams. The new songs that feature a stripped down bare bones approach to music does not do Mikel justice but he appeased his fans by playing his big three hits (Esta luz, En algun lugar, and Un minuto de ti). The band was great and they did at least 5 songs for the encore. Go see Mikel while you still can see/hear a Spanish rock legend.

It was a small venue which gave us a great view. Not that much pushing and shoving like at other places. We were right next to the bar so easy access to drinks was great! The sound was perfect. Mikel rocked !
