The New York Spectacular Starring the Radio City Rock

I took my wife to this amazing show for her 50th birthday, and she enjoyed every moment of it. We have also been privileged to have seen the Christmas Spectacular (even though it was a few years ago). Living in New York and seeing such wonderful shows, truly reminds us that it one of the greatest cities in the world!!!

This show was incredible. So amazing that I watched it 3 times.

Better than the Christmas show...amazing show it was fabulous...definitely see it again

Second year we've seen this show and thought it was fantastic. The sets and production were amazing. More entertaining than a Broadway show. The Rockettes are always terrific and a real show stopper.

As a native New Yorker I usually have a hum drum feeling about doing touristy things, like see the Rockettes perform. BUT, this time I was Impressed. The show tells the story of two tourist youngsters and their parents in NYC. I won't spill the details, but it was cleverly done, with humour, highlighting NYC experiences,and of course, great dancing. , They did not overkill on the dancing, even if it is the Rockettes. In this day and age with professional dancers highlighted in shows like Dancing with the Stars and as backdrops to many music artists performances, the Rockettes may seem a bit outdated. Not so here, whereby this production wisely incorporates them into a Broadway show type story. The scenery and costumes were gorgeous. Never a dull moment in this production. At one point dancers came into the audience, which was enlivening. The storyline is darling. The only caveat is they treaded once into political territory with a comment about a wall, which you no doubt will understand its meaning. It would be better not to have that, but of course, this being NYC I guess I can see why they had it. The show made me smile quite a few times. On the subway home, speaking to someothers who had just seen the show, they shared my sentiment that it was really good show. So, to sumize this is not your typical Rockettes Christmas show, this is even better!

One of the best shows I have seen. Entertaining, amazing and spectacular. Wanted to see more. Not to miss.

I attended this show with a friend and we were a captive audience throughout. Enjoyed the contemporary flair in the dance movements and loved the New York theme.

This was the most breathtaking, jaw dropping, thrilling, over the top spectacular show I have ever seen in my life. I feel sorry for everyone in New York who was not at Radio City Music Hall tonight. I will come back to see it again and again.

This show blew me away. Amazing. The music, dancing, choreography, staging, costumes and everything else were beyond amazing. The show is fast paced and thoroughly enjoyable. Wow what a night.

Very entertaining. Wonderful singing and dancing. Amazing graphics. Should be a must see for anyone visiting NYC as it highlights many iconic sites. And there is nothing to compare to the Rockettes!

This show was truly amazing, we have been too many Rockette shows and this is by far the best. Mia Michaels has done a overt he top job with these women who truly are spectacular.

One word would describe this event and that would be "SPECTACULAR" The Rockettes never disappoint and always have you leaving wanting more! Never enough of their dancing! The special effects and the talent in this show are top notch. Was wishing we had time to book another show and go back again before leaving NYC. We are now anxiously waiting to see the Christmas show over Thanksgiving weekend!

This was our first Broadway show, and also our first time in NYC. Amazing. Absolutely amazing. I have nothing bad to say about this show. The special effects were amazing. The acting, singing and dancing; perfect. Perfect for any age, my 15 year old brother liked it. Even my other 16 year old brother enjoyed it. And he was not looking forward to it from the beginning. We (Mom & I) were blown away, even teared up when it started. My mom has been a big fan of the Rockettes for a long time and this was very special for her. To actually see them was truly spectacular. Thank you for the memories NYC!

The New York Spectacular starring the Radio City Rockettes was a well produced show. The storyline and choreography were well put together. The use of NYC landmarks and integration of family life, the dancing and choreography into the storyline were well put together.

I took my wife as an anniversary present, thinking it was going to be just a lot of rockettes dancing, but it was a like a play, and the sets and music and dancing were spectacular! The audience had a preponderance of females, but believe me, this show is for everyone!! What a wonderful, pleasant, spectacular surprise!

I took my two granddaughters 7 & 5 to see this and they absolutely loved it! I would recommend this to everyone.

Visiting New York from UK and couldn't decide which show to see as most on in England so went for something different and booked the Rockettes. First of all what an amazing theatre Radio City Music Hall is. 6000 seats. We sat in row GG which is 3 from stage on the side and the view was terrific. I don't know where to start with the show but basically a tale of a family visiting New York so it took us to the various tourist sights with some very clever animatronics and computer graphics. Of course the stars of the show are the Rockettes - 40 ladies who dance in line high kicking in perfect time but also what I call pattern dancing in that they split into groups and pass by each other once again in perfect harmony. The weather outside was wet and miserable but watching this spectacular - and it was that - brought sunny smiles to all who watched. If I am ever back in NY when the Rockettes are performing, I won't hesitate to book

The entire experience was phenomenal. I was particularly impressed with the special effects. They are the best outside of Disney World I have seen.

good show went on last minute idea still had good seat, was only one in my party. so one seat was easy to get

These are not the Rockettes of my childhood! Or, heck, even five years ago. Director/choreographer Mia Michaels has brought the Rockettes into the 21st century, introducing more modern moves and costumes while still showing the dancers -- Rockettes and ensemble dancers -- off in the best way possible. I'll come back for the next Spectacular but only if Michaels is again at the helm!

As always, the Rockettes met and exceeded all expectations for a wonderful New York City experience. Don't miss it!!

I had goosebumps from the moment the orchestra rose on the platform to the grand finale. An absolutely wonderful experience. Watched with my hubbie and 3 kids. Two 12year olds and a 10 year old. My youngest was dancing in her seat the whole way through. The journey it takes through New York was spot on. We were all lifted in high spirits and my hubbie who isn't always a big fan was grinning like Cheshire Cat. Absolutely reccomend anyone who gets a chance to watch it !!

The show was truly amazing the cast was exceptional love the choreography, really a great Show looking forward to seeing it again next year.my daughter was in love and was mesmerized by the entire performance we all had a great time.

This show is what it says it is: SPECTACULAR!!! It is the true spirit of what New York has to offer where one has only open their heart to imagination and love. Beauty and grace are all of the unique qualities of New York and the Rockettes, Radio City, and the New York Spectacular crew demonstrate this in this marvelous performance. I really touches the heart because it keeps reminding you of the uniqueness and beauty of our wonderful city. Kudos to the performers, the musicians, the production and stage crews, Radio City Music Hall and especially Ms. Michaels for a magnificent job!!! Well done!!!

Saw the show on closing night and it was fantastic. We bought the tickets in May and it was well worth the wait to get to NYC!

Words are not sufficient to describe how truly *spectacular* this show was!!! Total *EYE CANDY* Visually stunning and amazing!!! If it comes around again next year I highly recommend that you go and bring the ones you luv!!! I can't wait to see it again! Mia Michaels from "So You Think You Can Dance" choreographed this incredible show and did an A+ job! Audience was totally enthralled from 1st minute til the very last second.

Spectacular doesn't do this show justice - it was a breathtaking and dazzling performance that captured the hearts of all - young and old and everything in between! The story was lovely, the dancing captivating, costumes outstanding, and the sets and projection effects were amazing. I had goose bumps from the minute the orchestra started to the curtain dropped. My nieces were on the edge of their seats the whole time! Before the show we spotted two Rockettes not yet in costume who agreed to take a picture with us on the sidewalk . Radio City Music Hall was a dramatic venue and everyone working there was warm and helpful. Can't wait for the Christmas Show!

Truly a fantastic show that highlights some of New York's best tourist spots!!!

The show was nothing like I thought it would be because it was better than ever. The set was AMAZING! The dancing was AMAZING! The singing, music, plot, effects were all AMAZING!

The show was excellent. Very entertaining! I loved every number form the beginning to end.

We came to New York with two 9 yr old girls in tow, with hopes of purchasing a wedding gown. The Rockettes was the first activity after our arrival, and still one of our favorites! Everyone was blown away by the choreography and costumes! The stage was exquisite as well! Highly recommended!

It's been years since I last saw The Rockettes, Unbelievable staging, music, singing and dancing. And a pretty good story line too. Now I can't wait to see the Christmas show.

If you love the Rockettes at Xmas...you'll flip over their New York Spectacular. The sets, the choreography, the story, the music and of course, the Rockettes were all simply fabulous. This is the 2nd year they've staged this show and It most certainly should become as much of an annual ritual as the Xmas show...IT'S THAT GREAT!

never a disappointment to see the rockets, the show was nice visiting all of the attractions around the city. great music to accompany each place. had a great time!

I loved how the story of New York was told with the children getting separated and the helpfulness of the statues throughout the city. Very much of how I find New Yorkers; very helpful and friendly. The Rockettes Rocked it! I would have liked to see more of them, but when they were on I was mesmerized.

2nd time to see this show this summer. I would go again! Lit really was spectacular.

What a show! More than we expected! I would see it again and now I want to see the Christmas special!!! See it if you can if you are planning a trip to NYC!

I enjoyed this show on so many levels. It was such a great show even my 2.5 year old daughter was captivated the entire time. The lighting designs and change scenes were seamless. My family loved it and I have recommended it to everyone that can still experience the Rockettes with a flare of New York and its cultural influences!! I think this will be a tradition for us from now on. Highly recommended

In all my years living here and then returning each year to catch a few shows each year after moving away, this was my first time attending a show to see the Rockettes. I missed a lot over the years, I will admit, by staying away. The dancing was incredible, the set designs were gorgeous, and the animation of the statues was wonderfully done! Though this was the closing weekend for this show, I will be back to watch the Christmas show.

I had previously seen the Rockettes Christmas show and loved it and this was every bit as good. I love all the sets, costume design, the little kids were great, and of course the Rockettes were wonderful as always. The orchestra was also very good.

This show blew us away! The dancing, effects, projections and acting were all top notch! Definitely worth seeing! Side note: We did the backstage tour beforehand and it was an awesome addition to the show. Very informative and fun at the same time.

Spectacular, had me in tears! If you come to New York this is the one thing you must do. Best show i have ever seen, it reminded me of my grandma and created special memories with my daughter. Unforgettable!!!!!

My mother treated my daughter and myself to this show after her friend recommended it. We all loved it! The Rockettes continue to amaze me with their professional style and talent. The story was an additional boost to the show and the theme was beautifully represented by the stage props...moving panels with beautiful images of NYC. We were only sorry we didn't bring my 5 year old granddaughter....next year!!!

Absolutely fantastic. The sets were wonderful. The costumes gorgeous. The crowd interaction spectacular. The story line might be a little too precious for some but it was a professional production and children will be entertained. I would have watched it again in the same week. I was still crying with sheer joy when we left. The venue is gracious and the employees were the best!

I have never been, it was awesome. The dancing, costumes, the set was amazing. Can't wait to go back and see them at Xmas time

A terrific time with Cirque du Soleil s \u2018Paramour new production has a cast speaking lines while flying through the air while furthering a little plot. The show is a great summertime event. West 42nd s huge Lyric Theatre seats nearly 2,000. The performance we attended was full and a midweek show was very crowded. Nice combination of a musical and circus with the breathtaking jumps and other acrobatics is a great place to be for all.

This is the first musical I have watched in New York City and it left me in awe! I was sitting at the tip of my seat throughout the entire show and was absolutely amazed! I loved it!

The location, seats, and performers were all amazing abs worth the money!

Simply Awesome! Believe me it's not only beautiful women doing the can-can. It's a great way to visit NYC and be totally entertained at the same time. A Must See!

I just don't have enough words to tell you how Spectacular this show is. It was way more than I expected it to be because I know how good the Christmas show is. I just want to tell everyone to Go and See this show. You will not be disappointed. I loved everything about it. I even cried a little at the end from Pure JOY!. I brought my 12 yr old granddaughter and she loved it too. The only thing I am disappointed in is that the show will end in August. Congratulations to all who made this show so Spectacular!. I am planning on going again.

My grandson and I, thoroughly enjoyed experiencing the WOW of this terrific show! We were in NYC for the 1st time, and I booked this in advance, knowing it would be memorable. The story-line, sets, costuming, and precision choreography were A+++!

They hit it out of the park again with the New York Spectacular The Rockettes never disappoint and wow the audience with their kicks! The show features Nyc landmarks, new routines and costumes, an easy to follow story line and amazing digital effects. A must see for New Yorkers and visitors of all ages

I already knew prior to the show, that it would meet my expectations, and more. My daughter and I were totally in Awe:-) from beginning to end. The music, costumes, and images were just fabulous! I am thinking about going back. Even if I have to go alone. Highly recommended:-)

Nice show. The costumes were beautiful, and the orchestra sensational. I wish the Rockettes had performed more numbers. It was different from the Christmas show; this was more like a play. I would not recommend it for children under age 5 years old. I did not care for the political message about Donald Trump that "There are no walls around Wall Street." Tickets were too expensive; attendance poor. I was in the 1st Mezz with about 25 other people. This is a show to see once. I doubt someone would go back year after year, like the Christmas performance.

You cannot live or come to NYC and NOT see this show. The Rockettes at their finest.

The Radio City Rockettes are dancing in the most modern routines so far in this amazing production. The costumes, colors, the lighting, the graphics are exciting and beautiful! It is a show worth seeing. The landmarks of the city are well represented and the story is sweet. It is a must see show!

From beginning to end simple spectacular. I couldn't had expected anything else from the Rockettes. My 5 years old daughter and 20 months old son were captured by the entire show. They loved it. No fussy no complaining. It was definitely a family moment. I will definitely recommend anyone to watch it. We might go back cause we loved it that much.

Wonderful show at Radio City Music Hall. Outstanding family program and wonderful virtual tour of the Big Apple. This is a limited engagement so make your plans to get tickets as soon as possible. This is a brand new show, so if you saw last year's, you will not want to miss this one. It's great music, great theatre, and of course, great dancing with the cast and Rockettes!

I've never been to a Rockettes show before so I was really excited to see what it was like. I was blown away by the Rockettes technically impressive dance numbers, the fantastic costumes, amazing lighting & sets. It's a very large & beautiful venue & stage & the show definitely fills the space!! The background story that links all the dances together was the weekest part of the show, but it served it's purpose well. If you've never seen the Rockettes I would highly recommend you go see this show, it will not disappoint. Radio City Music Hall & The Rockettes are such an important part of the history of New York's entertainment business, I believe it's a must see!

The show was wonderful. The dancing, singing, and visual effects were spectacular. But we were extremely disappointed that they allowed a whole row of people to come in to be seated right in front of us after the show had started. It was during the 3D portion of the show. The people kept standing there and we could not see anything. They finally got their group to move down and were seated, but we missed at least 5 minutes of the show. This should not have occurred. We were sent 2 emails reminding us to arrive 1 hour early, which we did. The auditorium was full when the show began except for the row in front of us. The doors should be closed and no one allowed to come in after the performance has begun! We paid over $100 each to see the show and should not have had it interrupted this way.

Was very impressed with the music and production that went into the Spectacular, so felt it was worth the experience. However, much needs to be done with developing an engaging story that is believable enough that the characters would visit all the places highlighted in the production.

This is our 2nd time seeing the Rockettes Spring/Summer show with our children and we have greatly enjoyed it each time. The show is such a great love letter to NYC and a great introduction to all the city has to offer. The production numbers were just great and the Rockettes were finely showcased!

Wasnt sure what to expect as I am used to seeing the Rockettes at their tap dancing finest. Mia Micheals is a great choreographer and she did a great job with this show. The background and graphics were unbelievable. Great show!!

This was an amazing event. I would recommend everyone see it.

Just loved all the dancing and music and the coordinating graphics and special effects. Only downside was the hokey story line of lost children traveling NY city without money and zigzagging between sights.

The show was exciting, entertaining and mouth dropping!! My 9 year old daughter was left with amazement as to how they did this and that. That made my day knowing that I put a big smile on her face!!

Everyone who visits NYC should see the Rockettes at least once. Radio City Hall is an Iconic Venue.

Best bang for your buck in NY! We were six people in all ranging from 5 to 85 and everyone loved it. Couldn't believe how fast the 90 minutes flew by!!! A definite MUST SEE! Only regret was that we didn't get the extra ticket to meet the performers. Don't hesitate, just go!

The show was absolutely fantastic! I loved every aspect of the show - from the dancing to the story plot to the acting and singing and the scenery - everything about this performance was incredible. The energy of the performers was amazing! I can't wait to get my tickets for the Christmas Spectacular! I hope they put this on DVD!

The dancing was fantastic - the story line was lame. Two kids get separated from their parents in NYC and manage to visit every place of interest to try to find them. If you're going to see this show see it your first night and you will know where to visit. Go to the show for the dancing - they could get by without the singing and the story line!!!

I am a huge Rockette fan and attended the Spring show last year. This was even better! My only gripe was they removed the Neon Lights number by Demi Lovato. Mia Michaels is a brilliant choreographer, and it was nice to see the show really evolve from last year. Better acting and story line.

We saw last year's Spring Spectacular as well. Both are very good, however, we thought the spring show was a bit better. The Rockettes' dancing and performances were outstanding!!

The scenery was absolutely incredible for this show, the Rockettes were as wonderful as we expected! We enjoyed the story line of the show and as this was our first trip to New York, glad we took the bus trip before so we knew more about the wonderful sights they mentioned!

It was a walk through the fabulousness of NYC!!! Costumes and choreograph was definitely on point.

Honestly I wasn't expecting that because the Christmas show it is Amaizing. But this show have everything that a great show needs. The best part was that my son and nieces and nephews enjoy walking Manhattan looking the statues as never!!

Radio City and the Rockettes never disappoint! The Summer Spectacular was high energy and very entertaining. The dance, music, costumes, sets, and special effects were amazing. A must-see for anyone visiting NYC for the very first time or for the first time in a long time.

The Rockettes were amazing. We saw Jersey Boys the night before and we thought the Rockettes would be a let down after seeing them. Not so, the Rockettes was a different type of show but every bit as good as Jersey Boys. We would highly recommend seeing the Rockettes, well worth the money.

The NY Spectacular exceeded our expectations! Wonderful stage presence by all who participated, high energy and lovely special effects. The sound was spot on and of course the Rockettes CHorus line and high kicks were quite "spectacular"!

We attended the Spectacular on Wednesday and enjoyed it enormously. The storyline was meaningful even if they got to the point in a quirky sort of way. Leaving the theater, my two teenaged grand daughters did not stop talking about it for the rest of the day.

This show was unbelievable! So different from other Rockette shows thanks to Mia Michael's choreography! The sets, the lighting, the costumes were amazing! If you missed it, shame on you.
