Disney In Concert

Very entertaining! Singers and the orqurastra were very talented and made this a very special event which both my child and myself really enjoyed. We really appreciated the live music.

Loved the show, it was amazing. Had a great time. Would definitely see it again and recommend it to friends.

If you enjoy Disney movies and like the songs in the movies, then I would recommend seeing this show. This is a great family show. The singers are great and they are interactive with the audience. The orchestra and conductor were great. I love going to the Springfield Symphony Hall, the seating there is great, not a bad seat in the house.

This event was one of, if not the best experiences, my family, friends and I have had at the Orpheum! The Memphis Symphony and the Broadway singers were outstanding!! I hope you have many more events like this in the future!! What a great night!!

My daughter and I took my grand daughter to the event and she loved it! We look forward to attending future events. I have always loved Memphis Symphony Orchestra. It was a wonderful experience for my grand ddaughter.

The Memphis Symphony did an awesome job! The Broadway singers were fabulous. A very entertaining event for all ages.

The music, video, vocals were all awesome! Our symphony was first class! The selection of songs was very good, but I wish the second part had been a little longer. It was barely 30 minutes.

This is show is for all members of the family. We are huge Disney fans and every song they sang was fantastic. The 4 singers are super talented. The orchestra was great. We love the images on the big screen and how it sync up to the songs. It was well worth it and leave us wanting more. We hope they bring this back every year. It is a great fundraising event. We had the best time. There is not a bad seat in the house. Thank you for putting this together. We LOVED it.

Took my 12 yr old and a few friends to this event! Didn't realize I too would LOVE it as much as the kids; have always liked Disney movies but really LOVED this event. Brought back memories from my childhood. Thanks Orpheum Memphis, Memphis Symphony and Disney!!!

Our family group consisted of Gram(me), my 7 year old granddaughter, her mother, a 9 year old cousin, our great grandmother and my adult niece. We all had our favorites, especially small world. We all were singing and smiling! What a magical time!!!! I asked my granddaughter to imagine the orchestra the next time she sees a movie and hears the music. She now knows what an orchestra looks like.

Wasn't too exciting... they simply sang the entire song. Seemed more for adults than children. Would have appreciated some crowd participation, have kids on stage... something

Awesome singers and the orchestra was beyond amazing!

What a fun night for kids of all ages. Singing along to all our favorites. The orchestra was fantastic and the singers were awesome! Not to mention, all the little princesses in the audience! Great fun!

Great performance. The whole family was able to enjoy this one.

Took my three year old and paid 100 a ticket for floor seats. We could have sat anywhere and wasn't necessary to be so close. I made he mistake assuming there would be characters or princesses, and I wanted her to have a good seat. An orchestra, a video screen, and 4 plain clothed singers. That's it. Didn't think it would have been difficult to have them dress up as Elsa or Ariel or something. They were good, but not what kids want to see. She did sit through it, but hasn't mentioned it since. Also, after and hour they broke for a 15 minute intermission, but didn't mention that is what they were doing. They took a bow after a big song, the lead conductor took a bow, and they exited the stage. No hey this is an intermission, how long it will be. Some people left not knowing. I asked the usher who gave me the info. Didn't meet expectations It was ok.

Really fun event if you enjoy Disney film music. Combination of the incredible singers, the orchestra, and the clips on the video screens brought me and my (older) kids bunches of joy.

Amazing. I loved it! The vocalists were phenomenal, and it was so amazing with a live orchestra.

The music and singing were very nice, but sadly, only half the audience was able to enjoy the film portion of the show. If your seats were not at ground level, you were lucky to see even half of the screen behind the performers. In our seats, we saw about one fourth of the bottom of the screen. We knew we were buying "cheap seats," but did not realize that we would not be able to see the screen at all, or that we would be subjected to the ventilation fan roaring directly behind our heads! Not only could we not see the video, but we could barely hear the orchestra.

I didn't go to the event. My wife, my two daughters and my granddaughter all had a great time.

I had such a great time! I would recommend this event to people of all ages. I'm 27 and it took me back to my favorite Disney movies from my childhood. The audience ranged from 4 year Olds to what looked like 84 year olds. The orchestra was amazing and the singers sounded just like the original actors from the moves. I would definitely see the performance again!

Happy tunes played magnificently. Both my 6 year old daughter and myself enjoyed the program immensely.

It was really nice and good!! I would recommend for any child that can sit still and enjoy music!!

The Memphis Symphony did a fantastic job bringing to life old time favorite Disney songs and so did the vocalists. I particularly liked their solution of keeping the younger audience captivated through the ~ 2 hour performance by projecting images from movies on the screen. Aside from the wonderful cultural experience, this concert was a great educational tool for young children who were able to appreciate the enormous amount of work and man power behind their favorite songs from the movies. I highly recommend this show for people of all ages (3-4 y/o and up).

Disney in Concert was one of the best Orchestral concerts I've ever been to. Hearing movie favorites performed live was so enjoyable. The conductor did an amazing job directing the Memphis Symphony Orchestra. They sounded so good! I would love for the Memphis Symphony and the Orpheum to offer more concerts like this one.

Something for everybody. A few songs from every decade of Disney movies.

The only thing that I would like to see is more variety. They could have done a lot of different musical genres by just adding music from say, The Princess and the Frog.

This show will go down as one of my absolute favorites!! There were 7 in our party and we all thought it was wonderful!!

Goosebumps of planting and I also loved it when they played the score from Pirates of the Caribbean.

The show was great and a lot of money was raised to help support the symphony orchestra, so it was a win/win!

Our seats were great except I wished we had the head's up that when u purchase tickets online, there is no info to tell you that you won't see most of the movie screen because of speakers. The symphony was amazing and sounded incredible. (I would have like it it be a little louder though). The Broadway singers were what made it the most fun for all of us. The show was the perfect length for the 4 or us. We would have like a program that had the line up of songs listed. Overall, it was very exciting and a great date night for our family!! We always love buying some sort of keepsake so we were glad to have the Orpheum cups. We probably would have spent more money if there was merchandise available for the particular event. We were very happy for the Memphis Symphony to make some well deserved $$$!

As members of the Memphis Orpheum Theatre for many years, we have seen spectacular events direct from Broadway, but our own theater just presented the best show ever!! Featuring our local talent--the Memphis Symohony and four of the most talented singers (who auditioned for the opportunity), we were taken for a spectacular ride through the music, animation and overall talent of Disney productions. There was something for every age....we are in oir sixties and there were children, dressed as Disney characters, of all,ages....to relive the wonderful experience of these stories through the sounds of our own symphony and amazing performers. I hope this becomes an annual event, with more than thw two performances...everyone should have the opportunity to see this production.
